Fantastic experience: Very personalized, exercises in a pool at the perfect temperature with instructors who give clear and very personalized instructions to help regain strength and mobility. It has worked wonders for me.

Fantastic experience: Karen was my therapist and she was very compassionate and caring didn’t overdue the exercises to the point of unbearable pain the receptionists are very nice and patient and Julie Bergman is awesome and super understanding she’s the best Tim is my aquatic therapist and he is VERY PATIENT and kind he listens and very receptive to my needs and even though socal is not contracted with my workers comp I pushed to have them be my therapist for land and pool and camis is the nicest front office goddess ever so I wouldn’t choose to go any where else

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with the professional and friendly staff at So CA Aquatic and PT. I highly recommend their physical therapy. Karen has been excellent with lots of ideas to strengthen my knees and reduce the pain. Tim who does the pool aquatic therapy is a great listener and willingly gives advice to increase healing.

Fantastic experience: As a personal injury attorney in O.C. for over 42 years, I've been familiar with literally dozens of P.T. facilities in South O.C. - some good, some ok, and some not good. I was referred to So. Cal. Aquatic & Physical Therapy Center by my Newport Beach ortho. surgeon. GOOD CALL! Very professionally run by Dr. Julie. All therapists and assistants were knowledgeable. I had 2 successive foot surgeries and needed much therapy on each foot over the course of many months. Tim in the aquatic pool area was outstanding, and very focused/organized in his regimen. Avanti and Alex were well qualified and I didn't miss a beat when they worked on me. Even assistants Nancy and Ali were as good as many actual therapists I've encountered. But top kudos have to go to Karen, who is, hands down, the best therapist I've ever dealt with. She's 20+ years in her practice - - it shows. Anyone with lower extremity issues (her specialty) would do very well to see her, but you need to book her for 2 weeks in advance, because the secret's out - - she is in high demand. The facility is spotless, and everyone has such a positive attitude. Truly, this place is the little gem on Beach Blvd near the 405 frwy.!

Fantastic experience: I can't begin to express how much my time of treatment at Southern California Aquatic and Physical Therapy has helped me return to a healthier and more pain-free existence! The therapists are well-trained and qualified for the treatment they provide. Both therapists and support staff are kind, supportive, encouraging and respectful in their care for each individual patient. Finding the care and support of Southern California Aquatic and Physical Therapy has been a Godsend for me. Hopefully you will find similar help through their skilled and consistent care.

Positive experience: I was referred here for a neck/shoulder injury, specifically because they had a therapy pool. Didn't know any places like this still existed. It was worth the 30 minute drive from inland OC to be in that extra heated indoor pool - helped my shoulder and upper spine mobility tremendously. I also saw Karen in the gym for a few sessions and learned some good exercises I could apply at home. Great people, small practice.

I met Karen PT for initial appointment and she was knowledgeable and seemed happy to help anytime I needed. I look forward to working with her someday. I’ve presently had about 6 aqua therapies with Tim. He is very kind spirited and concerned with how you feel for the day as he decides what is the best workout for each individual that comes in. It takes 4 to 5 hours by bus for each one hour therapy session. I am currently getting therapy paid through Veterans Administration. To guarantee continual continued therapy at Southern California Aqua Therapy for land and water sessions, I pay $330 monthly for a supplemental insurance program. Fantastic experience: When I first walked into Southern California Aquatic and Physical Therapy, it felt no different than the other dozens of physical therapist I have tried or I have been sent to. However the very first thing I noticed was how CLEAN the facilities is. Then let's talk about the caring staff (David Laforteza & Brittany Hastings) and how willing they are to HELP YOU. Oh yes, then there is the POOL which is very warm and VERY CLEAN that was great news FOR my body. The pool takes the gravity off my body and tells it not to hurt me any longer!! Fantastic experience: I've been in this aquatic therapy since 2022. It helped me tremendously with my physical pain and difficulty. I was able to improve strength and reduce the pain medication with the treatment beyond my expectation. I can trust this method of treatment more than any other advanced treatment I know. It also helped me to overcome my chronic depression.

Fantastic experience: I was willing to drive 30 minutes each way three times a week for the PT specialist that my husband had used previously and loved. I had total need replacement surgery at the end of September and had 12 weeks to be as close to 100% before we were embarking on a big trip out of the country. I showed up on my first day to find out she was leaving. I was sad and concerned that I might not have a great therapist and had to decide if I should try to go to a place closer to where I lived. I decided to give it a week or two before changing and I'm THRILLED I stayed. The new therapist, Karen Houston, started on my second PT appointment. She came with 20+ years' experience and specialized in knees. She knew my situation and felt confident from the beginning that I would get there - even when I wasn't sure. I had 31 sessions and each one Karen pushed me to my limits - to do more, to do better, and encouraged me every session. She was there when I felt like I lost progress over the weekend. She motivated me and ensured that my healing was normal, and I was on track. Karen built upon my exercises every session and kept them challenging and a few were even fun. All the assistants and staff that work there are very good and a close-knit bunch. I never needed the aqua therapy aspects, but my husband had, and this was one of the reasons I selected coming here in case I would need it. After 8 weeks I turned the corner and could really see that I was going to get to reach my goals. And at 12 weeks, I had exceeded my surgeon's goals and felt that I was leaving PT near 100%. Now we are off to take that wonderful trip of a lifetime! Thank you Karen!

Fantastic experience: I have had extensive physical therapy and various other therapies over the years, but the water therapy at Southern California Aquatic and Physical Therapy has been by far the most beneficial. I have been able to do some things I have not been able to do in 14 years doing traditional therapy methods. The entire staff is personable, professional and knowledgeable. The PT s keep pressing you to improve past the point where you were, while checking in with your pain level to ensure you are moving forward rather than injuring yourself and moving backwards. The front office always greets you with a smile and a friendly welcome, plus makes sure you are efficiently scheduled for your upcoming appointments. The office is clean and well managed and takes extra safety precautions to ensure everyone is safe during COVID. Southern California Aquatic and Physical Therapy has helped give me my life back. I cannot say enough good things about the entire office or the therapy I have received there.

Fantastic experience: THIS IS MY 3RD ROUND OF PHYSICAL THERAPY AT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AQUATIC. THE FIRST WAS FOR MY BACK AND I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF CARE I MADE IT MY CHOICE AGAIN WHEN I HAD ARTHROSCOPIC KNEE SURGERY NOVEMBER 2019. THERAPY WAS INTERRUPTED WHEN COVID-19 HIT, BUT I WAS READMITTED AS SOON AS I GOT CLEARANCE FROM MY INSURANCE. THE STAFF HERE IS THOROUGHLY PROFESSIONAL AND EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH THE COVID REGULATIONS. I HAVE ALWAYS FELT SAFE IN THIS ENVIRONMENT AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SREVIICES. I WILL BE 80 THIS YEAR AND THANKS TO THE LEVEL CARE I FEEL MY BALANCE AND STRENGTH ARE NOTICEABLY IMPROVED.

Fantastic experience: The PT's and assistants are lovely people and they want to help. It truly shows in their attitudes and attention to each client. I was experiencing chronic pain for over a year. Finally, I decided, I don't have to "deal with it." I deserve to get through a normal day doing normal activities without feeling betrayed by my own body. I'm so glad I did this for myself.

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with the staff and the treatment. Everyone is so kind and helpful. The facilities are clean and safe. Dr. Howard Yan has been overseeing my care and he is knowledgeable and supportive. I am getting the aquatic therapy for rheumatoid arthritis. There is also a lot of equipment for out of water therapy.

Fantastic experience: I have had Multiple Sclerosis for mor than 10years and my muscle speciosity gets pretty bad but their therapists know what to do to help me get to my best self. I am still walking and with this place I will continue to do just that.

Fantastic experience: I love this place. It's been over a month for me starting to go here for my shoulder treatment, and the front desk people are so kind and nice. They always makes me happy because I feel welcomed. I enjoy seeing them happily working and respecting each other. My PT is Howard Yan, who is very caring and knowledgeable, and he does wonderful job teaching me how to improve my shoulder mobility.

Fantastic experience: Good physical therapists and assistants. They really give you a great aquatherapy workout routine to follow. It helps you get stronger and feel better after a surgery or another tear in your meniscus of your knees. Water resistance is one of the best things you can do to stay strong and fit even if you have osteoarthritis.

Fantastic experience: Steven Charbonnet and team got me back to my active self quicker than I expected. I was overcoming a knee surgery that Dr.Steve had seen countless times before, and the SoCal Aquatic team was able to quickly set me on a path to an active life (4 weeks sooner than planned!). During my land-based treatment, Steven strategically had his peers evaluate me during 2 milestones of my rehab. Each review resulted in changes to my daily routine and advancements in recovery. Steve’s openness and experience were key elements to my improvement. I highly recommend the team at So Cal Aquatic for their physical therapy and patient care.
