Results Physiotherapy Huntsville, Alabama -South

Positive experience: I would give 5 stars for the normal people that work in this office, but have to give 4 for the one day the boss who over scheduled her physical therapist and came in to help them. Day 5 post-op ACL and MCL repair, she asked how I was, I told her my calf was hurting worse than my knee. She told me that was normal after surgery and that it would go away as my knee heals and gets stronger. That was not good advice, if I had just waited for something normal to quit hurting, I would be dead now. I had a blood clot, DVT, in my calf that had already gone to my lungs creating a pulmonary embolism, PE. Thankfully, my daughter who is a nurse called to check me on me that day. I told her the same thing, she said, “Mom, turn around and go to the ER immediately.” She noticed the cough I had as well and knew calf pain plus cough means blood clots. (My cough was also obvious during PT) I know physical therapist are not doctors, but I hope the boss will research and train her employees to say something more like, sometimes that can be a sign of a blood clot. If it continues to hurt, you may want to call your Doctor. The average person usually does not put these symptoms together because they do not always present the same for everyone. I did not have a bright red swollen spot on my calf because the clot was so deep. I had a femoral block and took pain meds after surgery, so I really didn’t even feel my leg until day 5 after surgery. The cough happened as soon as I get back in the car after my day surgery procedure. It was as if I had a sinus infection for weeks that moved to my chest and I was coughing up mucus. I knew I was not the least bit sick before the procedure to have a cough like that. I did call the surgeons nurse, and she said it was normal after surgery because of the intubation. Both times I reached out with symptoms, I was told it was normal. I think this is why so many people die with a PE. They have no idea it is even happening to get help in time. Hopefully, my experience will bring awareness to more and save lives in the future. Other than this one situation of giving the wrong advice and her never coming back to apologize or see me after she was made aware, the other people in the office are great and have helped me to recover after knee surgery.

Fantastic experience: I'm a 69 yr old with a torn meniscus in both knees. Prior to physical therapy, had to use a cane to get up from chairs, getting out of bed, walking two dogs and limping through 18 holes of golf, twice a week, for 2 yrs. Unexpectedly, without surgery and after about a month of therapy at Results Physiotherapy in south Huntsville, Al, I no longer need a cane and can now walk, without limping, with my dogs and on the golf course. Miranda adjusted my hips and helped strengthened it, as well as the leg muscles affecting the knees. Thank you Miranda, you're the best, and you're also very kind. Lastly, the other PT workers and the receptionist are really friendly, I would highly recommend this place, without reservation. phil t.

Fantastic experience: Everyone there is competent and enjoyable to interact with. Both clinicians do very good work, but the following shoutout is to the female clinician (I won’t say her name because who knows if she wants to be mentioned on the internet) I worked with almost every PT session. She helped relieve my pain by working on problem areas I didn’t know existed. She also taught me how to continue therapy at home so I can continue to heal. I’m definitely a big fan of her skill set.

Fantastic experience: This staff is absolutely AMAZING!!! Sarah is always smiling and pleasant when you come in and she greets you by name. I can't even gather the words to describe how good Kyle and Miranda truly are. I feel better than have in more than 6 months. Fantastic experience: I left a previous review, but somehow it identified the facility I attended as the Whitesburg clinic. I attended the facility at 11310 So Memorial Parkway. I have had physical therapy in three different states, MA, FL, and now here in AL. I have two total knees and one total hip, so I am well aware of how important PT is. This time was sciatic pain and balance issues that led me to seek Physical Therapy. From the beginning , I was impressed. I was having some difficulty getting my Dr to send through an order. Sara, the receptionist,offered to call my Drs office to see if she could facilitate the issue. It worked, and I was able to begin my therapy. My Physical Therapist Darryl Sheets was very professional and was a good listener. He listened when I had issues performing the exercises, and modified them to enable me to meet my goals. He was reassuring and never made me feel that I wasn't doing the best I could. It was truly a pleasure to work with him. All of the staff at this clinic were personable and welcoming. Fantastic experience: Results Physiotherapy has such a unique approach to physical therapy. They combine the traditional exercise approach with manual therapy, with the goal of reducing pain and improving function. It works better than any other type of physical therapy I've received. My chronic back pain and hip pain have been reduced by 95% and I'm able to run, work out, and sit at my desk pain free again. I recommend Results Physiotherapy to anyone who wants to improve their quality of life if pain and injury are preventing them from doing things they want to do.

Fantastic experience: Kewin and Sarah were great at this South Huntsville location of Results Physiotherapy. Over the 12 weeks, my rehab on my broken ankle brought it back to 100% and probably stronger than before the injury. Very respectful and knowledgeable Physical Trainers

Fantastic experience: Kewin helped me get back to running after a knee injury in a little over a month, coming in twice a week. I felt like he addressed the entire body, helping to integrate my core into training as well as just my legs. I had also had a baby four months prior to my PT starting so he worked with me on minor ab separation. Very hardworking, professional, and courteous physical therapist and office staff!

Fantastic experience: Anytime that I have an exceptional experience with a company of any kind, I like to share. I have never been to a place that had better knowledge, communication and follow-up with their patients. They get to know each one as an individual so that they can promptly and accurately, without exaggeration, do everything possible to make sure that the patient is taken care of so they can get to feeling better and back to enjoying life. They absolutely know what they are doing and I highly recommend this place. It made no difference if it was my first visit, somewhere in between, or my last visit. You definitely should keep them in mind if you need any body part repaired to avoid any unnecessary surgery or medicine. Today was my last visit but, they've given me the tools that I need so that I can continue feeling good. I'm going to miss all of the staff there. They really are wonderful! Fantastic experience: Sarah was absolutely wonderful! She took great care of me after surgery and helped me get back into running with realistic expectations. I'm so thankful for the care I received and would recommend Sarah to anyone. I saw her immediately after surgery before transferring to another clinic in Georgia.

Fantastic experience: Sarah and Kewin are very professional. I had a full replacement of my left knee. Within a few visits I could tell my knee was getting back to full mobility and the pain was getting less and less. I had my last visit today, August 12, 2021, Thursday, and I have achieved full functionality and almost no pain. I have been needing the knee replaced for quite some time and I cannot believe how good it feels. It has only been seven weeks from surgery. I definitely like the "Results"! Thanks Sarah and Kewin.

Their aim is to get results and get you to a better place than you were at even prior to needing them or at least they did for me. I worked with Bo Brawner and could not have asked for a more knowledgeable therapist. He pushed me when I needed it but always listened carefully to my input also. He was a miracle worker for me and I am now in a much better place than I was at even prior to the back and hip problems that led me to contact him! I have been pain free for about three and a half weeks now for the first time in years! I highly recommend both Results Physiotherapy and Bo!
