Fantastic experience: I go to Therapy Achievements in Decatur. I am being treated for lymphedema. I am super thankful for them. They have been professional, helpful and seem to want the very best for me. Brittany and Chole are the best.

Positive experience: Seems like a good place when you are there. Once you leave communications can be difficult to the point of impossible. A weeks of phone calls and emails with no response. Looks like a 40 minute drive for face to face communication is the next option. Again good when you are in the building challenging once you are out the door. Update (8/23/2024): It took a bit but I was contacted and the communications process was effective. The next time I am in I will ensure I have the direct contact information I need should questions arise.

Fantastic experience: Though I was not recognized when I walked in for my appointment the first day and properly checked in after being ignored, I began to receive great service from the staff. The whole process was more than what I asked for and I want to recognize Dr. Ryan Coody for being an amazing ton of help for me without question!! The second time I came I was recognized and checked in properly by the staff member I was ignored by and had all of my expectations achieved!!! I do not know how to thank THERAPY ACHEIVEMENTS!!! This is the best office in Town hands down!

Fantastic experience: Can I start off by saying how truly grateful I am that this is where the CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) clinic referred me. I had given up hope that the pain and fluid on my feet and legs would never go away. I am finally getting some pain relief, which is a true blessing. The size and heaviness of my feet and legs are slowly starting to show improvement. Everyone I have met and worked with are so amazing and they actually care about what they are doing and they are truly focused on helping you to get stronger and better.

Negative experience: UPDATE: I don’t know who you have tried to call, but I haven’t received a single missed call from you, and I have 4 other doctors I’m currently seeing and along with my insurer, I get a dozen voicemails a week. So if you would like to call me as you stated you had tried … please do. I do plan to review you on health grades as well. Thanks for your time. Poorly trained staff, practice email doesn’t work, “office manager” needs a class in patient care... Called twice in last few weeks to get the “new patient documents” sent to me - for some reason they can’t get them sent through the practice’s email… rep had to send them from her personal email! But said I can’t complete them so just come in early. Called today to emergency reschedule my appt (I have a root canal scheduled for next week but developed an infection over the weekend) I Scheduled a dental appt for AFTER my visit, but finally called because I just can’t make i in this much pain- literally speaking like I have marbles in my mouth with so much swelling and pain! The woman that answered the phone told me to “get a doctors excuse to get the charge taken off”.. What?! When I challenged this, she talked over me 3 times and when I tried to speak she actually YELLED over me to where I had to ask her to lower her voice ! I’ve asked for the Medical Director‘a voicemail and she refused to transfer me. Only that she’ll take a message and give to her “when she comes into the office”… never heard such unprofessional behavior from a medical practice in my life !

Fantastic experience: THE TEAMMATES THAT I HAVE BEEN TRAINED BY ARE FANTASTIC. I ACTUALLY ENJOY GO TO PHYSICAL THERAPY BECAUSE OF THEIR OPEN CONCERN AND FRIENDLINESS THAT IS SUPERIOR TO ALLOW ME TO ACCOMPLISH MY GOAL OF REHAB. I ALSO LOVE YOUR COFFEE POT.

Fantastic experience: Instant RELIEF! Two years I have been over-looked and shelfed by several medical teams. Ready to throw-in the towel, I happened upon a very good Cardiologist. He recognized immediately what my problem was and referred me to Therapy Achievements. I have never been happier. The staff is fantastic. The drive from Athens can be a challenge but I know that when I push through, the clouds that have hovered over me will lift. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks to all for caring. Therapy Achievements is a "CUT ABOVE." Onna Poole Athens, Alabama I have had treatment for a year. My swelling is now very manageable. Lymphedema is a nightmare but the right help and perseverance, a lot of self help brings great benefits and relief. I would suggest Therapy Achievement. They care so much. Give them a try!

Negative experience: I received a bill from over 5 years ago just last week in 2023 from date of service for Dec. 2018. Statement stating I owed $50. from missed appt. and 2 - $30. co-payments equaling $60. Therapy Achievements states I never responded repeatedly over 5 yrs to statements sent. #1 I don’t get bills I always pay at time of service. AlWAYS. Strange no one else has ever had issues getting mail to me. I have lived same address 33yrs. #2 I have had my same insurance for 47 years and never have I ever had a $30. co-pay. #3 as a Business how long do you wait to turn over to a collection agency, 5 yrs really. Insurances can’t even bill after 1 year. I talked to 2 different Insurance Company’s who exact words were “ I can’t believe they had the audacity to send anybody a bill after five years, showing their neglect of duty in running their business”. They have to write it off. Your business office personnel actually laughed in my face when I told her that. Due to my husbands meticulous filing, I actually produced receipts with Therapy Achievements letterhead printed from their machine, showing the dates of service in question, and that they were paid only to be told, that is not our paper. It’s our Info. but sorry our paper head is designed different we have our emblem on the right side of paper. So either you insinuated that I fraudulently reproduced your letterhead or you saying that you have someone within your place of business that is not handling your books correctly. I produced my proof to include statement from Bank showing the $50. was paid by check #———. (Note in their computer says “I forgot appt.” $50. No show fee. My note says I cancelled due to having to get unplanned infusion at Cancer Center that I called but was told to late to cancel. I can also get proof from Cancer Center I was there by necessity. When I arrived at your office with the proof, miraculously, it was found also in your computer once I showed my proof. As a medical professional I have never been treated,spoken to, or hollered at by a place of business in my life especially one that charges for their services. My Attorney was jumping up and down for me to turn this over to her and the only reason I did not was I want nothing else to do with this facility, EVER. In my opinion your business is exactly one of the many reasons our Health Care is in the horrible shape it is in. I PAID the money I did not owe today and I have a 0 Balance according to the “Letterheaded”receipt you e-mailed. “ a lot of good that will be, undoubtedly not worth the paper it printed on. Letterhead could change.

Fantastic experience: As an old, retired nurse, this was my first time at Therapy Achievements. I was so pleasantly surprised to see such a large, beautiful facility. The staff was absolutely wonderful- kind, caring, attentive to details, knowledgeable… I could go on and on… And I will!!! I didn’t even know this place was here. It is run like a well- oiled machine, very organized, everything timed well, and yet everyone goes out of their way to tend to ones every need! I am so greatful to my Dr. for choosing this facility for me.

Positive experience: Therapy Achievements speech therapy was top notch! I loved both my therapists! Hands down the best in the area . Definitely need to work on billing processes though. It is not good practice to call after 2-3 years and inform former patients you are turning them over to collections when they were not even aware a balance was due.

Fantastic experience: Best help and people who care

Negative experience: Therapy Achievements was alright. Went there and everything went alright but felt that they were just kind of phoning it in with the therapy. Apparently they were just charging my insurance for the money. Last visit there according to the invoice I received today was from almost 11 months ago. Didn't hear anything from them for over 11 months till I got a bill today for almost 600 bucks. Glad I chose to go to another PT because they didn't do me this way plus they were a lot more active in making sure I got better.

Fantastic experience: Have used their services twice. Staff is professional, knowledgeable , cheerful, and encouraging . I am very satisfied with the experience and highly recommend .

Fantastic experience: We came here from inpatient rehab where the therapist had a number of patients at one time. The one on one attention is great. My wife has make great progress in her recovery. The therapist have the necessary experience to get the most out of each session and the patient. I would recommend Therapy Achievements to anyone seeking maximum recovery from their illness or surgery.

Fantastic experience: My son twisted his knee in one of his basketball games, so he went to Therapy Achievements for Therapy . I love everyone there, they are so helpful and nice to everyone. I love the fact that the patients are getting one on one therapy with each therapist. It is not like the other places when you are in a big room with all the other patients and therapist. This clinic is on a more of a personal level and I love that. I also love the fact that the therapist answer all of your questions in a way that you can understand. I think the best part about Therapy Achievements is the fact that they offer all different kinds of programs and services, its like a one stop shop!!!!!!!
