Fantastic experience: Austin Physical Therapy has made a huge difference in my quality of life. I injured my spine and could not walk. I was referred to Austin Physical Therapy because they are the only ones that use the Pastural Restoration Institute (PRI) method to treat patients. After 3 months I am back to walking again and regaining strength in my right legs. My spine is no longer twisted and I am back to neutral which is a major accomplishment. The team at Austin Physical Theatre is simply amazing!

Fantastic experience: After a tumble down the garage steps resulting in a torn rotator cuff and quite a bit of pain, I asked around for The best physical therapist for shoulder injuries. I got numerous recommendations for Austin PT. I’m glad I listened! The therapists there are very knowledgeable and just plain nice people! I have just begun my therapy, but my shoulder always feel better after the electrical stimulation and heat treatment. Today my therapist, Sue, massaged by shoulder very gently, and it felt wonderful. Austin has two locations, one on Cecil Ashburn and the other in the Hampton Cove area. I am very pleased with the one on Cecil Ashburn Drive.

The best for me is that Sue is willing to explain exactly why I'm doing particular exercises, what muscles are involved, etc. It really helps me do the work. Great atmosphere. I'd highly recommend it. UPDATE WEEKS AFTER THERAPY COMPLETED: I want to thank Sue at Austin PT profusely for making physical therapy so much fun! She patiently, even playfully, answered my endless questions to the point where I feel I got a mini master class in body mechanics (or at least my body mechanics). I've heard so many stories of people dreading PT sessions, but I looked forward to each and every one. And the best news is I'm sooooo much better. Sciatica is gone, I'm sleeping well, and there's no doubt my hips are freer. Case in point, I recently went on a hike with two old lady friends like me, planning on a 3-mile loop. We missed the return trail and by the time we got back to the car we had walked 6.38 miles (per a friend's Apple watch)! Prior to PT, I would have been in incredible pain from that, barely able to walk the next day from back and hip pain. Instead, it took only an Epsom bath that night to leave me completely pain free the next day. I am soooo grateful for Sue's talent in diagnosing and teaching. I highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: I am nothing short of 110% satisfied with the care and expertise I have received at Austin Physical Therapy. I began my journey there after a torn meniscus and repeated cortisone injections in both knees. My care started with Jay, who was determined to help me regain the muscle tone needed to ease my knee pain and get me in shape before surgery. It continued with Ashley, who is nothing short of a miracle worker in my book. Her kind and competent care helped me regain my strength, flexibility, balance and coordination and I am now able to do my Steady For Life zoom exercise routines just as I was prior to surgery. Everyone I have met at Austin are kind and compassionate and especially encouraging.

Fantastic experience: Kevin is the best physical therapist assistant out there hand down. As a current powerlifter, I was pretty much at the point where I was not able train for my competitions and Kevin got me to the point where I’m back in the gym training at full capacity. The entire staff is very kind and knowledgeable- highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The PTs at Austin are real hard working, caring people that can get you straightened out and back in business. I came in some 5 months ago, having injured my lower back to the point I had pain shooting down my legs and numbness in my hips. Having had issues years ago with my back, and then later in a knee, I knew that Austin PT was going to get me fixed up. Sue, Claire, and Ashley all worked with me at various stages along my recovery and gave me "homework" to do on my own between appointments. Everyone there is so helpful and committed to getting you better than when you came in. I came in initially as someone unable to stand straight or walk for any distance without pain. Now I get around so much easier and even have gone back to playing golf, which used to leave me in agony. I don't play any better, but I sure don't hurt as much as I used to when I tried to play. If I ever need PT in the future, I will definitely be heading back to Austin PT!

Fantastic experience: I am a physician who has gone through two episodes of major lumbo-sacral surgery. Sue ( at Jones valley ) has been my physical therapist. She has done wonders for me. I had been unable to play golf and now I'm back on the course playing without pain. I am grateful to her for her skills and the compassion with which she treated me. Thank you, Sue !

Fantastic experience: Many great things comes with the crew at Austin's Physical Therapy. I am a person living with MS, my muscles are drawing up tightly. The first day I met with Sue, the physical therapist she worked the muscle so well that I was able to fully extend my arm. There is great hope working with Austin's Physical Therapy. The crew here is very helpful for you to help yourself get back to some normalcy. Give Austin a call you will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: LOVE all employees at Austin PT @ Jones Valley. Sue, Ashley & Clara were wonderful. Over the pass several years I have had two total knee replacements. This year (May 2022) a rotator cuff tear. I wouldn't go anywhere else! The sweet office employee was very helpful working with my schedule. The guys that connected the tens & ice wrap were always very respective & so nice. They are definitely the best physical therapy in HSV.

Fantastic experience: I have now used Austin PT services twice in the last 3 years. In 2019 and again starting in Jan of 2022. In January, Jay was able to give me a clear understanding of why I was having back pain and help make a plan to not only get me out of pain but to also get me back into the gym! Once the plan was in place I worked with Kevin twice a week to accomplish our goals of pain free movement. Kevin is very knowledgeable and confident in his work. He helped me understand why we were doing the exercises and gave me easy to follow exercises to do at home between appointments. I felt very confident that the plan would work and it did! I’m now back in the gym, lifting heavy, and feeling great! I highly suggest Jay, Kevin, and the rest of the team at Austin’s PT.

Fantastic experience: My family has been going to Austin’s for 5 years now. If you haven’t met Jay or Kaci and worked with them - you are missing out!! I’ve been to other places where you have a different therapist every visit, you are rushed through your appointments, etc. NOT here! They are personable, they work with you and your doctor to help get you better! They take their professions very serious and are very trustworthy when it comes to your recovery from surgery or whatever type of therapy it may be. Their is no other place that compares for Physical Therapy! They are the best, hands down!

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, I've had a lot of experience with physical therapy. APT knows myofascial release and muscle energy techniques, which I've lately needed to correct problems. But they don't want to rely on those techniques long-term and instead seek to correct the underlying condition(s) that caused the need for these short-term remediation methods. THAT'S the attitude I like. After only a few visits and practicing their exercises independently, I saw significant improvement in the first couple of weeks. You have to do their exercises on your own between visits for maximum results, but you WILL get better! I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I rarely give a 5 star review, but I must say Jay knows so much about the body and how to make it move with less pain, that I had to write a stellar review. The facility is nice, very clean, the staff is eager to help. I am so happy my Dr. told me to go to Austin Physical Therapy, I had tried another and was not confident in it. Fantastic experience: Excellent service and attention to detail at Austin. I'm being treated for two separate issues. Treatment included an evaluation, related testing, training for exercises to do at home, and electro stimulation therapy combined with heat/cold treatment. You can see and feel your progress.

Fantastic experience: I came to Austin physical therapy this past summer and I have gained 15-20 yards consistently. I have also increased my vertical by 8 inches.

Fantastic experience: We came to Austin PT on a recommendation after working with two other local physical therapists for an injury to our son’s elbow. He has played travel baseball for a few years as a pitcher, and he began to experience elbow problems that we couldn’t find an answer for. That is, until we found Kasi and Jay at the Hampton Cove location. Not only did Kasi correctly identify what was happening, but she set us up with a preferred orthopedic doc for an MRI and evaluation. They continually have been with us every step of the way for treatment over these past 8 months, and have displayed a true sense of loyalty and given excellent care to our son. We are even now involved with their sports training programs to develop strength and agility for athletes. I am so very thankful to have them on our team as we navigate sports and recovery after injury. They are the best!

Jay, Casey, Donna, Kassidy, and all the staff that have helped me are awesome. I have had two knee replacements within 3 months of each other and went through some hard times. Casey was always encouraging me and helping me with the pain. He always takes time to listen to what you have to say and is such a wonderful person. Fantastic experience: I knew I needed help when I could no longer raise my arm higher than my elbow and was in great pain if I tried to move it! Turns out I had a frozen shoulder. Austin PT restored my ability to move it fully and pain-free. The staff were great to work with! I saw two different therapists regularly and Mary and Kasi were both awesome. They made sure I knew what to do at home and while I was gone on three different planned trips so I didn't lose progress. I started therapy on land, but was encouraged to give their pool therapy a try too because of how much my shoulder was hurting me and it was the best!! I loved how much better I felt after getting down in that warm water and how much easier it was to move it while under the water!! If I were to need therapy again for any reason, I wouldn't bother trying anywhere else and I've already got my husband going there for his hips and back pain!! Five stars, great experience.

Fantastic experience: A 5 star rating is not an accurate representation of the professionalism or the capabilities of this organization. After 2 unsuccessful surgeries Jay and his office quickly started strengthening my shoulder to aid in the recovery following the 3rd surgery. Jay's approach to therapy is incomparable to anyone else I had in the north Alabama area. Austin Physical Therapy is single handedly the reason my career in the military is still an option. Being able to go from constant pain to actually being able to function better than before my injury is nothing shy of a miracle. With zero hesitation I would recommend Austin Physical Therapy to my closest friends and family. Thank you again Jay and Holly!!

Fantastic experience: I appreciate the excellent therapy I received from Austin. I received expert therapy procedures and guidance from Mary and Casey. They were patient and thourough as they guided me through each exercise. They followed through to make sure I understood the correct way to practice and exercise. Fantastic experience: I have high praise for the team at Austin PT. From the moment you arrive until you complete your session the people are friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. I have been to other PT offices, but, this is the only Physical Therapy Clinic that have noticed dramatic improvement. The innovative techniques and the drive to help me get better was demonstrated by all of the staff (the front desk, therapists, and the technicians). In my opinion, this clinic is the best in Huntsville!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Donna & Jerry had very complete evaluations and a detailed treatment plan was developed and provided to our respective doctors In Jerry's case the three exercises and stretches from the evaluation gave him significant relief from the pain in his knee within 3-4 days. Follow on treatment was done slowly to ensure it would not cause any further damage. The treatments helped the pain and built strength in both the knee and body core. Donna's progress has been a little slower after 50 years with back issues and other issues but is moving along well in the correct direction and she is also doing much better. Even her massage therapist noticed the difference in her movement. Austin Therapy does not give up. If one way doesn't work, they find one that will. Periodic testing is done to evaluate progress. Exercises are very individualized and altered as needed. Exercise sheets are provided to continue the exercises at home between treatments. If we need physical therapy in the future, we would go back to Austin Therapy. Donna & Jerry
