Rehabilitation/Neurological Svs: Reviews
Negative experience: My mom has been going to Dr. T for her neurological needs and he is amazing! The office manager, Tiffany, is a different story. I always take my mom to her appointments with no issues. Today, while my mom was still in the waiting room, I received a very important call via zoom from my severely autistic daughter’s doctor. I took the call to my car right outside the establishment because of the nature and privacy of the call. Tiffany came out to my car and aggressively interrupted my zoom call telling me that if I didn’t come inside right now my mother would be asked to leave. I then told her that I was almost finished and needed just a minute and would return inside. Tiffany rudely tells me that she doesn’t care about what I had going on and that I needed to come inside now. She was so nasty and un-empathetic that my daughter’s doctor on the zoom asked “Is everything alright?” I ended my call and went inside where two people were already with my mom. I asked Tiffany what was the problem if there were two people standing there with her. She didn’t answer my question and became agitated. She said she was calling the police and I was going to jail. She stood in the doorway of the exam room as she dialed 911 as I asked her to move so I could leave. She then said “yeah leave and take your momma with you!” My mom who was in pain cried and tried to explain to Tiffany my daughter’s condition and how important it was that I took the call and Tiffany stated she didn’t care. I told her she had no empathy and was in the wrong field. She tried to charge my mom a no call no show fee and wouldn’t allow her to reschedule. I asked for the president’s email and her response was that I could talk to her. She refused to give me the email information. I can’t believe someone so unprofessional and snarky is representing the office of such professional and caring doctors like the Edwards.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ted Edwards and Dr. Savage-Edwards along with entire staff have been nothing short of amazing. They have helped my father immensely in regards to his chronic pain and memory loss. My father has severe OA in both knees (bone on bone) and did not want to undergo a total knee replacement. He received exosome injections in both knees from Dr. Edwards and the results just 8 weeks later have been truly remarkable. The pain in his knees has improved tremendously and he is getting his quality of life back. He is able to do things with his grandchildren that he has never done before and continues to be amazed at his progress each day. He has also seen benefits neurologically in regards to his memory, his hair is growing back, turning back to his natural dark brown color from the gray/white color it previously was, and his skin is even improving. He and I both also use Dr. T’s essential oil releaf spray, both with and without CBD, and the amount of pain relief we receive is beyond anything I have ever experienced with any other essential oil or CBD products on the market. His sleep/anxiety spray has not only helped me with my pain, but it actually allowed me to get my anxiety under control. With my doctor’s recommendation I was able to come off of a long term anxiety medication I was taking at night. I just cannot say enough good things about RNS and everything they have to offer. They are truly compassionate people who genuinely care about every individual they treat.
Thank you for your heartfelt review! We are overjoyed to hear about the significant improvements your father has experienced with our exosome injections and essential oil products. At RNS, we prioritize patient care and strive to provide innovative treatments that make a real difference in quality of life. Your feedback means the world to us, and we're honored to have been a part of your father's journey to better health. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or if there's anything else we can assist you with.
Negative experience: The doctor is more interested in selling his homemade essential oils at $50 an ounce than actually treating you with any other medicine. It's kind of a good old-fashioned cash deal on the side. He wanted to give epidural injections without putting me to sleep and no sterile environment, just in his office. That is NOT the way it should be done. He didn't want x-ray to see my lower back, which has extreme stenosis and dozens of bone spurs that can cause problems during the injection process. The very thought of this man treating me is terrifying. Please consider any proposal for injections thoroughly. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS "PAIN CLINIC!" I would describe it as a Quack clinic.
Thank you for sharing your concerns. We take feedback seriously and apologize for any discomfort caused. Our priority is always patient safety and effective treatment. We adhere strictly to medical protocols and standards, including the use of sterile environments and appropriate diagnostics. Regarding essential oils, while we believe in their potential benefits, we understand they may not be suitable for everyone. Your feedback is valuable, and we would like to discuss your specific concerns further. Please reach out to us directly so we can address your needs and ensure your well-being is our utmost concern.
Fantastic experience: They have helped me so much, especially Dr.T he listens and really tries to come up with a game plan that's right for you. His ointments help my knee pain a lot as well.
Negative experience: My mom is a patient here and she called from April the 3rd through April the 13th to get her appointment (she has been a patient here for years) they never returned her calls to schedule after multiple voicemails . My mother ended up in the ER that evening with severe pain. She has to have total hip replacement. Her discharge instructions after 2 days was to make an appointment with this office again to get her medication and to let him know about her upcoming surgery. They scheduled her for today Wed the 20th at 3:40 we got here and they said she wasn’t on the schedule so here we are again. The office staff does not know what they are doing and it is completely inconsiderate and unprofessional and I am appalled that they would allow their clients to go through this . Get new staff , Dr Edwards may be a good doctor but he needs to weed out the front staff . My mom is now to be without medication again for another who knows how long waiting on them to get it together!
We are deeply sorry for the experience your mother had. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience and distress caused. Patient care and timely communication are paramount to us, and we regret falling short of your expectations. We are investigating this matter internally to ensure such issues do not recur. Please reach out to us directly so we can address your concerns promptly and ensure your mother receives the care she needs without further delay. Your feedback is invaluable as we strive to improve our services. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Negative experience: They will not respond to emails or calls. Left 4 phone messages (they don't have humans answering phones) and 3 emails over the past 3 weeks.
Negative experience: Dr Belinda Edwards is knowledgeable, kind and compassionate about the issues you are dealing with, and her nurse practitioner is very kind as well. I have only been one time, and this is my impression. They didn’t have records from hospital, which was CT scan and bloodwork, but we’re going to request them. The NP did her work up with me, and then Dr Edwards came in. I was not expecting all of possible diagnosis, so it was a bit much to process. I was going to do a Chest Cray on way out, and then referred to a vascular surgeon. I made an appt for a nerve conduction study for 2.5 weeks later, and then a follow up a week from then. I waited over a week and called to check on the referral to a vascular surgeon and they told me they were have trouble finding a doctor to take my Case. They were going to have to send me to UAB or Vanderbilt. A week goes by and I haven’t heard anything. I have no idea if they received my CT scans, chest X-rays, and what was found. I assumed they would call and keep me informed.I have called 3 times asking for nurse, leaving messages every time, and have not been called back, so I called to make an appt, and told them that nurses had not called back. Both calls were transferred and I was connected with one, and first one was rude and didn’t even have my chart pulled I, and the second time, a different nurse put me on hold for a couple of minutes a d came back on line asking for my number because she needed to get more info?? Never heard back. The lady who made appt has extremely nice! Other than that, I agree they need to make some changes in the way office is run and needs new staff.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful physicians, Dr. Edwards and his wife are super personable and actually seem sincere as to your well being, also Laura Cambron is excellent to deal with in every aspect. The sheer wisdom and knowledge not only of what they are treating, but also medical conditions and treatments outside of their field blows me away. I’ve never felt more like family at a physicians office in my life. I went to TVPC for two years and felt like another statistic, but here I actually feel like I am being educated and treated to meet my needs and conditions. I would recommend RNS to anyone in need of a good specialist! Thank you for changing my life!
Fantastic experience: I was extremely happy with the care and concern here, Thank You!
Negative experience: I don’t think anything could be worse than being injected with strep. You are taking your life into your hands going here
Negative experience: I was a referred patient from the VA that showed up early (approximately 10 minutes) for my initial appointment. I was waiting 35 minutes after the scheduled appointment time before I was called back and surprised with a urinalysis test as if I am a recovering drug addict to be treated. Could not wash my hands in the bathroom after the urine test because they have the soap and paper towels on the nurses station outside of the bathroom. I, for one, am not happy to be handling door knobs after knowing others have touched it with nasty hands after they've used the restroom. Then I was asked about my medications that I am currently on, and I had a hard time remembering a medications name due to one of the reasons I am being seen at this DR office ( TBI Traumatic Brain Injury). The nurse acted as if it was fine that I couldn't remember, but left the room and loudly and sarcastically told the DR. that her "new patient ( my name) is in the room and he can't even remember what medications he takes!" Then the nurse said "This is why we have a medication list to fill out beforehand", still very loud and sarcastic. Their whole conversation carried throughout the office and I'm positive everyone in the office heard. This is a MAJOR HIPAA violation!!! I got up and walked out of that office and grabbed my documentation from the receptionist and immediately called and went to the VA to file a complaint.
Fantastic experience: Dr David White is an amazing doctor. He is so good with my autistic son. He really cares and he listens!
Positive experience: The doctors are amazing and definitely take the time to help you. They have changed my life. That's why they get 3 stars. But the staff, especially the front desk can extremely rude in person and over the phone. You also better be prepared to wait at least an hour passed your appointment time to even get in a room. And there is always a billing issue when I go in. I stay because Dr. Belinda Savage Edward's has changed my life with her ideas but honestly, she needs new staff up front.
Negative experience: I was referred to see Dr. White by my primary care physician. I talk to his office staff and they get all of my info. I then get an appointment made for a month from that day. I was excited to possibly FINALLY get some help for my condition. I arrive early to my appointment only to be smugly told by the desk clerk that Dr. White doesn't treat my condition. Not only that, but she claimed to have called me the day before to tell me. I didn't have one missed call or voicemail and I have EXCELLENT cell service. Also, I drove an hour to get there, which is hard for me as it is. There was no sincere apology made. No offer to help at all. Very disappointed in this doctor who could at the VERY LEAST evaluated me and referred me elsewhere. I am a former Registered Nurse and this is the least amount of professionalism I have EVER SEEN.
Fantastic experience: They help me a lot
Fantastic experience: I love this place. When my daughter was going to children's in bham she never got the care she got here. When she went to the er they called me just to check on her and make sure she got good care.
Positive experience: Great doctors (especially Dr. Ted Edwards), but time management is horrible. I love Dr. Ted. I have been coming to him since around 2005 after I had a bad accident. HOWEVER, the clinic is really not doing well with their time management skills. Dr. Ted will give you a good amount of time once he gets to you, it's just if you can wait the amount of time needed to actually get to see him on the day you are scheduled. If you don't have a job or if you have a free and flexible schedule, then this is a great place. If you have a job, or work for yourself...this can be a frustrating place to get your care. The average time to wait with a scheduled appointment is about 2 hours (beyond the time your appointment is scheduled). Even if you try to get the “sweet spot” appointments (first in the morning or first after lunch), it’s still a long wait. I usually can only give so much time to waiting, then I have to leave (I work for myself…if I don’t work, I don’t get paid). Love the care, hate the wait.
Fantastic experience: Dr. White and his entire staff was excellent. He took time explaining my situation.
Fantastic experience: This is an amazing place to get your PT! Professional, clean, and everyone is super nice and friendly. I went in to have work done on my lower back after having muscle spasms from lifting improperly and my pain is already subsiding. I went hone feeling relaxed and I'm cooking forward to my next session. Dr. Edwards was great and made me feel so comfortable because I was nervous as it was my first time. They use modern equipment and techniques and ask a lot of questions. They work with you to make sure you can schedule appointments quickly and get your insurance taken care of as easily as possible. Really a top notch business. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Edwards and the staff at Neuro Rehab! I started seeing Dr. Edwards last year via a referral from my Primary Care Provider! I was 198.2 pounds and in so much back and left leg pain from Arthrititis & sciatic nerve issues! I was also suffering frequent migraines! I was exhausted from being treated and mistreated in the emergency room and at my Doctors office! So I went to the first appointment with a closed mind about the outcome of what Dr. Edwards could do for me! It's been a year now and I am still a patient BUT the chronic pain is being managed. I haven't had a migraine in 9months, and my weight is 144.3 pounds !! I am so happy today that I took the steps required to being compliant and aggressive in my treatment plan! Dr. Edwards takes the time to explain and teach! He shared valuable information with me and my husband to help me through this painful journey ! All the way down to my DIET & Nutrition! It's so worth it! His treatment works As long as you are compliant with the plan of care...( meds, therapy, excercise, etc) Sometimes we went through trial and error to see what works but we did it together! I feel you will get out of it what you put into it! I wanted to be pain free and active again! My pain was real and no other Doctor truly believed me! Dr. Edwards and his staff have always been so respectful of the pain & suffering and managed to be helpful! I thank God first and Neuro Rehab secondly for helping me to get me life back! I never thought in a million years my pain level would be at point that I could manage it and I could be active again! I love it and I'm grateful! Kudos & blessings To you Doc and your professional staff!!! ❤️
