We strive to be an example of excellence in physical therapy, providing a personalized, hands-on approach that goes beyond expectations.
Nesin sees a large number of patients who are suffering from back pain, which is something that almost everyone has experienced at some point in their life. The spine is an essential part of the human body, as it provides balance, absorbs shock, allows us to move, and protects the spinal cord. Therefore, it is important to seek treatment for back pain instead of enduring the discomfort.
The shoulder is very flexible, but this can also lead to injury because of its complicated structure. Fortunately, physical therapy can help figure out the cause of shoulder problems and provide relief from pain.
Sometimes overlooked, elbow discomfort can have a negative effect on your everyday life and activities. If you are suffering from elbow pain or reduced mobility, our physical therapists can help you.
The hip joint provides a good balance of flexibility and stability when supporting weight, so any damage to it or its components can reduce range of motion or the ability to support weight. Our physical therapists can use specialized manual techniques to help restore normal joint movement in the hip.
It is important to have flexibility in the knee joint in order to perform everyday activities such as walking, running, sitting, and standing. Imbalances in the muscles around the knee, weak hip muscles, or issues with the feet can increase the risk of knee pain or injury.
The foot is an incredibly important part of the body, allowing us to move from one place to another without having to think about it. However, when something goes wrong, it can cause pain and dysfunction that can spread up the chain and affect the knee, hip, and even the lower back due to its role in shock absorption.
Nesin sees a lot of patients who are suffering from back pain. Almost everyone will experience this kind of discomfort at some point in their life. The spine is very important for absorbing shock, maintaining balance, and allowing movement, and it also protects the spinal cord. Therefore, it is important to get medical help instead of just enduring the pain.
The shoulder joint is very flexible, but this comes with a price. Its complex structure makes it susceptible to various types of injuries. Fortunately, physical therapy can identify and address the sources of shoulder pain and help reduce it.
Although it may be overlooked, elbow pain can have a significant effect on your daily life and activities. If you are having difficulty with elbow discomfort or have limited movement, our physical therapists can help you.
The hip joint is an amazing combination of both flexibility and stability, allowing for weight-bearing activities. If the hip joint or any of its components are injured, it can limit the range of motion or the capacity to support weight through the hip. Our physical therapists are highly skilled in specialized manual techniques to help restore normal joint movement in the hip.
The knee joint must be able to move freely in order to perform everyday activities such as walking, running, sitting, and standing. If the muscles surrounding the knee are too tight, the hip is weak, or the foot has issues, it can increase the likelihood of sustaining an injury or experiencing knee pain.
The foot and ankle are responsible for helping you move from one place to another without much thought until something goes wrong. Its most important task, however, is to absorb shock. If there is any discomfort or difficulty in the foot, the shock can be transferred to the knee, hip, and even the lower back.
Pelvic floor physical therapy is a form of therapy that involves the use of specialized techniques to improve the function of the muscles and connective tissue in the pelvic floor region. This type of therapy can help to reduce pain and improve the quality of life for those suffering from pelvic floor dysfunction. It can also help to reduce the risk of future pelvic floor problems.
Coccydynia is the medical term for pain or discomfort in the coccyx area. Most sources agree that the most common cause of this type of pain is idiopathic, meaning of unknown origin. The second most likely cause is trauma, such as a hard fall on the buttocks or activities that involve repetitive stress on the tailbone, such as cycling or horseback riding. Physical therapy is an essential part of the healing process and to prevent the pain from returning. This treatment should be done by a physical therapist who has specialized training in manual treatment to restore the proper alignment and mobility of the tailbone.
Our practice focuses on preventive care and rehabilitation for any issues that may arise before or during pregnancy. We are equipped to deal with new problems caused by physical strain, as well as existing issues that become more severe during pregnancy. Our therapists collaborate with both patients and their physicians to ensure their pregnancies are healthy, active, and comfortable.
At Nesin Therapy, our physical therapists are highly trained to provide specialized rehabilitation services for musculoskeletal issues after childbirth, as well as specialized care to meet the specific needs of women during pregnancy. We follow the exercise guidelines of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology for before and after childbirth, and are knowledgeable in addressing the musculoskeletal needs of pregnant women and new mothers.
Approximately three-quarters of women have experienced pain during sexual intercourse at some point in their lives. Finding a solution to this problem can be very frustrating, as many women are told that the pain is "all in their head" even though it is actually in the pelvic area. As a result, they may find themselves being referred from one doctor to another without finding any relief.
Manual physical therapy is becoming more and more popular among people with interstitial cystitis and their healthcare providers as a way to reduce the symptoms and discomfort associated with the disease. It is especially helpful for those who also have pelvic floor dysfunction.
When the muscles that support the pelvic organs become weakened, the organs can fall from their normal position and press against the walls of the vagina. This is most commonly seen in women who have recently been pregnant or given birth. Manual physical therapy can be very beneficial in reducing the symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse.
Physical therapy can be a useful tool in dealing with fecal incontinence, which is a potentially embarrassing problem that affects between 2-24% of adults. This condition is often not reported and left untreated, but it can be caused by trauma from vaginal delivery or neurological injury.
By taking the right preventive measures and receiving treatment from a pelvic floor therapist, people can manage or reduce their urinary incontinence. Our physical therapists can treat stress incontinence, urge incontinence, and mixed incontinence, providing the most effective conservative treatment for this common condition that affects both men and women, as well as children.
Once any potential anatomical, medical, or dietary causes of constipation have been ruled out, it is essential to focus on the muscles of the pelvic floor. These muscles must be able to contract and relax properly in order to maintain urinary and fecal continence, sexual functioning, and healthy elimination habits.
Individuals of all ages can experience issues with their bladder, bowel, prostate, and other disorders affecting the pelvic area. Symptoms such as leaking after urination, numbness when seated, or pain during sexual intercourse should not be ignored. These conditions can have a major impact on a person's wellbeing, but physical therapy treatments can help. Through physical therapy, the pelvis can be realigned, the pelvic floor muscles can be relaxed, and the connective tissue around the bladder and prostate can be released.
Coccydynia is the scientific term for pain in the area of the tailbone (coccyx). Most sources agree that the most common cause of coccyx pain is unknown (idiopathic). The second most common cause is trauma, such as a hard fall on the buttocks or activities that involve repetitive strain on the tailbone, such as cycling or horseback riding. Although rare, other possible causes may include cysts, abscesses, or tumors.
Physical therapy is an essential part of recovering from and avoiding recurrences of coccyx and lower back pain. A physical therapist with specialized training in manual treatment is necessary to re-align and improve mobility of the tailbone. Rehabilitation exercises that focus on the muscles in the area, as well as instruction in posture and body mechanics, are also necessary components of treatment. This comprehensive approach has been shown to be highly effective in treating coccydynia.
If anatomical, disease-related, or dietary causes of constipation have been ruled out, then attention should be focused on the pelvic floor muscles. These muscles must be able to flex and relax correctly in order to maintain urinary and fecal continence, sexual activity, and proper elimination habits. Constipation is a very common disorder.
Nesin sees a large number of patients who are suffering from spine pain, as it is one of the most common complaints. Almost everyone will experience spine pain at some point in their life. The spine is essential for shock absorption, balance, movement, and protecting the spinal cord, so it is important to seek treatment rather than enduring the pain.
The shoulder is highly flexible, however this can increase the likelihood of injury. Fortunately, physical therapy can help to reduce the pain related to shoulder dysfunction by addressing the causes of the issue.
Often overlooked, elbow pain can have a negative impact on your daily life and activities. If you are experiencing elbow pain or noticing a decrease in the range of motion, our physical therapists can help.
The hip joint is an impressive combination of both flexibility and stability when carrying weight. If the hip joint and its components are damaged, it can affect the range of motion or the ability to support weight through the hip. Our physical therapists use specialized manual techniques to help restore normal joint movement in the hip.
Having a healthy knee joint is essential for carrying out everyday activities such as walking, running, sitting, and standing. An imbalance in the muscles around the knee, weak hip muscles, or problems with the feet can result in pain or an injury in the knee.
The feet and ankles are vital for moving from one place to another without any conscious effort until something goes wrong. Additionally, their main purpose is to absorb shock. If there is any discomfort or malfunction in the foot, the extra strain can be transferred up the body, potentially affecting the knee, hip, and even lower back.
Nearly everyone will experience back pain at some point in their life, making it one of the most common reasons people visit Nesin. Taking care of your back is essential, as it helps to cushion shock, maintain balance, and support movement, as well as protecting the spinal cord. Don't endure your pain - come in for treatment.
The shoulder is highly flexible, but this can result in problems. Because of its complexity, the shoulder is vulnerable to a range of injuries. Fortunately, physical therapy can be employed to identify the source of the shoulder's malfunction and help alleviate the pain.
Often overlooked, elbow pain can have a negative effect on your everyday life and activities. If you are experiencing discomfort in your elbow or find that your range of motion is limited, our physical therapists can provide help.
The hip joint is an amazing combination of both flexibility and stability when it comes to bearing weight. Damage to the hip joint can lead to a decrease in range of motion or the ability to support weight through the hip. Our physical therapists use advanced manual techniques to help restore normal joint movement in the hip.
Movement of the knee joint is essential for many everyday activities, such as walking, running, sitting, and standing. Imbalances or tightness in the muscles surrounding the knee, a weak hip, or problems with the foot can all increase the risk of experiencing knee pain or an injury.
The foot is an essential part of movement, but it also serves as a cushion for shock absorption. When something is wrong with the foot, it can cause pain or disability, which can then cause extra mechanical strain to be spread throughout the body, resulting in knee, hip, and even lower back pain.
Pelvic floor physical therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on the muscles, ligaments, and connective tissue of the pelvic floor. Through a combination of manual therapy, biofeedback, and exercise, pelvic floor physical therapists can help patients reduce pain, improve posture and movement, and restore function. This type of therapy is a safe and effective way to address pelvic pain and can help to improve quality of life.
Coccydynia is the scientific term for pain in the coccyx area. The cause of this type of pain is usually unknown, although it is commonly caused by trauma such as a hard fall on the buttocks or doing activities that involve strain on the tailbone, such as cycling or horseback riding. Physical therapy is essential for recovery and to reduce the chance of the pain coming back. This treatment should be done by a physical therapist who has specialized training in manual therapy to restore the proper alignment and flexibility of the coccyx.
At our practice, we aim to provide preventive care and specialized rehabilitation in case of any issues before childbirth. We are able to address any new issues that may arise due to the strain on the body, as well as assist those who have existing conditions that have been exacerbated by pregnancy. Our therapists collaborate with patients and their physicians to ensure a secure, active, and comfortable pregnancy.
At Nesin Therapy, our physical therapists are knowledgeable about the specific needs of women during and after pregnancy. We follow the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology's guidelines on exercise and are qualified to provide specialized rehabilitation for any musculoskeletal issues after childbirth. Our team is also trained to assist with any musculoskeletal needs that may arise during pregnancy and after the baby is born.
Dyspareunia, or pain during intercourse, is a very common occurrence; three-quarters of women have experienced it at some point in their lives. Unfortunately, many of them find themselves being passed from one doctor to another in an attempt to find a solution, and are often told that the pain is "all in their head". However, the pain is real and located in the pelvic area, where it is felt.
Physical therapy done manually is becoming increasingly popular among people who suffer from interstitial cystitis and their doctors, as it can help reduce the symptoms and pain associated with this condition. It is especially beneficial for those who also have pelvic floor dysfunction.
When the muscles that support the pelvic organs become weak, the organs can descend and press against the walls of the vagina. This is particularly common after pregnancy and childbirth. Manual therapy can be very beneficial in reducing the symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse.
Physical therapy can be an effective way to begin addressing fecal incontinence, a potentially embarrassing condition that affects between 2-24% of adults. Unfortunately, this problem is often not reported and therefore not treated. It can be caused by a variety of factors such as trauma from vaginal delivery or neurological damage.
By taking the appropriate preventive measures and consulting a pelvic floor therapist, people can manage or even eliminate urinary incontinence. Our physical therapists can treat stress incontinence, urge incontinence, and mixed incontinence, and provide the best non-surgical treatment for this common condition that affects both men and women, as well as children.
Examining the pelvic floor muscles is essential when diagnosing a patient with constipation. It is necessary to assess these muscles to determine if they are contracting and relaxing correctly in order to ensure urinary and fecal continence, sexual function, and normal voiding habits. Once other potential causes, such as anatomical, disease, and dietary issues, have been ruled out, this should be the focus.
Individuals of all ages can experience issues with their bladder, bowel, prostate, and other ailments in the pelvic region. Symptoms such as leaking after urination, numbness when seated, or pain during intercourse are not normal and can significantly reduce one's quality of life. However, physical therapy can help improve these conditions by realigning the pelvis, relaxing the pelvic floor muscles, and releasing the connective tissue around the bladder and prostate.
Coccydynia is the medical term for pain in the area of the tailbone (coccyx). The most common cause of this pain is unknown, but trauma is the second most common cause. This could be due to a hard fall on the buttocks or participating in activities that involve repeated pressure on the tailbone, such as cycling or horse riding. In rare cases, cysts, abscesses, or tumors may be the cause of the pain.
Physical therapy is an important part of treating coccyx and lower back pain. It is important to find a physical therapist who has experience in manual treatment to help restore the proper alignment and flexibility of the tailbone. Physical therapy will involve exercises to target the muscles in the area, as well as teaching proper posture and body mechanics. This comprehensive approach has been proven to be very effective in treating coccydynia.
If there are no anatomical, medical, or dietary causes for a person's constipation, it is important to focus on the pelvic floor muscles. These muscles must be able to contract and relax correctly in order to maintain urinary and fecal continence, sexual function, and normal elimination habits.

In 1987, Janet Nesin founded Nesin Therapy, offering physical therapy services to home health agencies and nursing homes. She began the business from her home with one employee, Sandy Kimbrel, who worked with the company for 30 years before retiring in 2017. Janet's main goals were to guarantee the quality of physical therapy services and to give her employees flexible working hours. Michelle and Janine Nesin started their careers by treating patients with their mother. The company changed from contract to outpatient services and has since expanded to include three clinics in Madison, Southeast Huntsville and Research Park.
The staff at Nesin were very professional and welcoming. I looked forward to my appointments since I could see that I was making progress, and I enjoyed talking to my therapist. It felt like being part of a family. I am thankful to my therapist for understanding that my gait and the way I walked were the source of my issues. If these were not addressed, it would have greatly limited my mobility in the future.
I had the pleasure of being treated by a group of physical therapists at Nesin who were very knowledgeable and worked together to help me with my issue. The exercises they suggested after their assessment helped me to be almost completely pain free. I would highly recommend Nesin.
I had a wonderful experience at my physical therapy appointment! My physical therapist was very attentive and understanding of my back and pelvic issues. She was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. She was very genuine and caring, and she taught me a lot about my posture which was causing a lot of my back pain. She also provided me with information about my recent endometriosis diagnosis. I would highly recommend Nesin Physical Therapy to my friends and family.
I was extremely pleased with my experience at Nesin. The staff were both knowledgeable and caring. They correctly identified my problem, provided treatment, and gave me expert advice on what I needed to do to recover, restore my range of motion and strength in my injured shoulder.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ashley Bates and the whole crew at Nesin are wonderful! They really seem to care about whatever ailment brings you in, are super personable, and clearly know what they’re doing. So glad my doctor recommended them! My back and leg pain is already so much better after 3-4 visits. Highly recommend!
Thank you for your 5-star review, Sarah! We are so glad that you're having such a great experience with our Huntsville team and are already living life better after a few visits!

Fantastic experience: I’m still coming but am recovering beautifully after knee replacement surgery. Can’t say enough good things about my therapists. Thank you. Elouisa Stokes
Thank you for the 5-star review, Elouisa! We are so glad to hear you are recovering well post-op and on the road to living life better!
Positive experience: This was my third set of sessions with Nesin. My last two sessions being a few years ago and again in 2023. I have thought very highly of Nesin and recommended them to many of my friends. This set of sessions however disappointed. Not due to the skill, knowledge, and professionalism of the therapists. All of the therapists I saw score 5 stars on that front. My disappointment was due to the different business model Nesin has apparently adopted. One of the primary reasons I recommend Nesin is because the therapists provide one-on-one treatment for a full hour, sometimes less but never less than 45min of one-on-one hands on treatment. Unlike other places where the therapists simply assign exercises. Unfortunately, the model Nesin is now employing seems to be a pipeline in which the therapist juggles 2 clients for a portion of the session. I’m there for a full hour but do not have the full attention of my therapist for that whole time. I will still recommend Nesin, but with reservation and a caveat when I do. I am disappointed Nesin chose to move to this different way of scheduling.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We truly appreciate your feedback and value your past and current experience with us! We understand that our recent practice model change may cause some adjustments, but we want to assure you that providing the best possible patient care remains our top priority. Thank you again for your feedback. We look forward to continuing to help you live life better!
Fantastic experience: The team at Nesin is fabulous!! I love Folks on Shoney Drive in south Huntsville and have been seeing them since day three After total knee replacement. Special Shout out to Gloria, Ashley, Bre, Cindy and every tech who has supported me in my recovery!! And can’t forget Brian at the front desk!! If you need physical therapy, this is the team to TRUST!
Thank you for your kind 5-star review of our Huntsville team! We'll be sure to pass along the shoutout and gratitude! Thank you for trusting us to help you live life better after your Total Knee Replacement!
Fantastic experience: I’ve used the other 2 big facilities here in Huntsville and while both were good, I decided to try Nesin Therapy Services on a recommendation. I have to say my experience with Nesin has been GREAT!!! From the front desk receptionist to the PT Michaella, and ALL who I’ve encountered here have been awesome. It’s a fun friendly atmosphere but yet they get the job done. Michaella has been awesome in helping me get my range of motion back after a knee replacement & recent manipulation and is very encouraging in my progress.
We truly appreciate your 5-Star, thorough review! We are so glad that you tried Nesin and had a wonderful experience with all of our team! We hope you continue to see progress and start to live life better!
Fantastic experience: Of all the physical therapy clinics I've used over the years, Nesin is consistently the best. The therapists are well qualified professionals who, unlike other clinics, are allowed to devote their full attention to one client for the allotted appointment time. I highly recommend.
Thank you for the 5-star review, Patsy! We are so glad that are team of experts was able to help you live life better. We appreciate the recommendation!
Fantastic experience: Very knowledgeable personnel have the skills to zero in on the problem and treat
We love hearing that! We are so glad you had a great experience with our team, and we were able to help you live life better. Thank you!
Fantastic experience: After my visit with Lindsey at N. AL Urology, I was referred to Nesin for PT, specific to my pelvic floor. My what?!? All I knew was that I was like millions of women before me who could easily see the off-ramp for 50, had given birth, and no longer scoffed at the ads for bladder leakage aids. It took a bit to finally schedule my first appointment due to insurance issues, but Nesin never gave up. I was even contacted just to touch base while we waited. When I was finally in the office for my initial consult, I thought I had an idea of how the appointment would go: conversation, maybe a little demonstration of exercises, then a bunch of printouts for me to use as exercise guides at home. Wrong!! A casually dressed forest sprite introduced herself as Meredith and waved me into her office/exam room. As she was going through the preliminary questions, I was impressed by her confidence, demeanor, knowledge of anatomy, and ability to create a relaxing atmosphere resembling a couple of friends having coffee together. I soon realized that DR. Meredith was actually a giant in disguise. As I mentioned, the off-ramp for the 50's is where I exited, and after two high-risk pregnancies, I've had multiple internal exams by males and females. They ranged from mildly awkward solely based on the activity itself to 'Nope. I'm outta here.' For the first time in my life, I did not feel awkward because there was a stranger getting up close and personal. I didn't think that was even possible! I mean, come on... A stranger. In my personal and confidential territory. Meredith taught me so much during the exam that I stopped experiencing the typical 'Just look at the ceiling and count pockmarks in the tiles.' unsettling exam. I was in a one-on-one 'This is your body J' doctoral level elective learning how muscles, tendons, and bone structures interact and impact my overall physical health. Not just reducing tinkle accidents. My entire body. I suffer from chronic pain as a result of a degenerative bone disorder, structural changes in my spine due to osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia, and Meredith went above and beyond with research and teaching me exercises that noticeably reduced some of my lower back pain in the 4 visits I had with her. After my visits were completed and I had achieved success in reducing my need for bladder leakage solutions, my mind was completely blown and I believe that Meredith should be common knowledge for every woman out there. Men too, I guess. Meredith helped not only with the reason for my referral but also reduced some of my pain and provided resources for me to use that will continue to improve my overall strength. I literally can not say enough wonderful things about her. I desperately wished she would adopt me as a friend so I would be able to enjoy her humor and beautiful heart for years to come.
How sweet! Thank you so much for your kind and thorough review, Jenifer! We loved reading your story and how Meredith was able to help you. Wellness truly does begin here!
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this group of Nesin therapists. Had 11 treatments with at least 4 different therapists, and they each did a great job of addressing my needs, working on ankle and foot after broken ankle and surgery. There was marked improvement in mobility during the 11 treatments, sent me home with exercises to do at home, which I am doing daily. Very thankful for work done for me there.
Thanks for the kind review, Lois! We are so glad your needs were addressed and you are now living life better due to our team of experts! Keep up the work with those home exercises!
Fantastic experience: MS therapy for nerve damage which cause problems with walking, balance, movement and pain everywhere, and then broken bones are the reasons I went to NTS for almost 20 years. They are wonderful in helping you feel your best when you are at your worst. I highly recommend their staff for all of their services!! They are great and knowledgeable at all they do, plus will help with things you never expect.
Thank you so much for your kind review and recommendation, Melanie! We're so glad that you've come to us repeatedly over the years. We are always here to help you live life better!
Fantastic experience: I injured my back on a trampoline (why does everyone think a 70-year-old shouldn't be on a trampoline?). I was treated by the team, a great approach to therapy. Cindy, Bre, Gloria, Ashley, and Shannon are all very knowledgeable and work together wonderfully. The interns are all well educated and help make the experience fun (ok, I may be a glutton for punishment) as well as healing. Next we're working on my shoulder. I'm looking forward to it. And, a shout out to Brian, who managed to get me scheduled even when I got my times mixed up.
Thanks for the kind review, Ben! We're glad to hear that the team approach to therapy worked for you and that you can now live life better - even if that involves jumping on a trampoline! We truly appreciate the 5 Stars!
Fantastic experience: This place is great if you want caring, knowledgeable, therapists. They do an extensive evaluation and really pinpoint and create a plan for you. All I can say is all around excellence... Maxine
Thank you for the kind review, Maxine! We're so glad you got to experience Nesin! Our therapists are truly experts that will personalize each treatment plan based on the evaluation. Thanks again!
Fantastic experience: I have been going to Nesin and received top notch care from the onset. Dr. Ashley Bates has been very involved with all of the care providers making sure that my hip injury is treated so that the problem begins to respond to exercise and stretching. Each of the providers is very intent on understanding where and how significant my pain was. I have been able to trust my hip and lower back strength in my yardwork and other duties at my home. One of the providers, Bre' has given me several exercises that have reduced long term hip pain. Bre' also encourages me to perform the exercises and stretches properly to get the most out of each procedure. There are other suggestions Nesin has for future care which I will discuss with my primary care provider. Thank you to the whole staff and sorry I did not name every one of the staff members I have worked with. I appreciate you all.
Thank you for the kind and thorough review, Jerry! We truly appreciate your feedback and are glad you've had such a great experience with our team! No doubt, you're living life better after seeking help with your hip pain! Thank you!
Fantastic experience: I wish I could have given Nesin 10 stars but unfortunately only had 5 from which to choose. I've been through 2 rounds of PT at Nesin Therapy over the past few years. I describe them as "miracle workers." Before I reached out to Nesin for therapy, I had been sent by an orthopedist for a hip injection at Crestwood and also had injections into the SI joint by a pain management doctor at Sportsmed, both without any relief at all. I would recommend that before you resort to surgery or injections that you see a therapist at Nesin. They are top notch at diagnosing problems on the very first visit. Both rounds of my therapy were the result of tight, weakened muscles in particular areas. After manipulation of those areas and follow through with recommended exercises, I was absolutely a "new" person. I've been to PT at places that stress exercises alone which did not work for me. The "hands on" manipulations to the affected areas were the answers to my prayers both times. I must admit that the manipulations were VERY uncomfortable but it fixed me up very quickly. - Nov 29, 2013
Negative experience: Came here several years ago and they were able to help me. Recently had an injury and I am being cared for through the VA. I called and checked if they were able to assist and accept VA referrals The voice on the phone said No they did not. I asked why and he started to spuder he did not know. If you go here, just know they do not support soldiers. In a way that can actually help them with injuries they have sustained defending this country. Thanks Just got a call from these guys. They said the reason they don’t see soldiers from the Va is because they don’t make enough money off of the appointments. That is great. I love these idiotic responses these Docs put out there. Very scripted and never really addressing the issue. Because in their mind they are gods and they don’t have to answer any questions. Glad you guys can continue to make money. When I was in Iraq I was making minimum wage. But happy you guys are doing great. Don’t worry about the sacrifices made so you can continue to screw soldiers over.
It is never our intention to make a patient feel frustrated, so we apologize for any communication issues you had regarding making your first appointment. We wish you had taken the opportunity to speak with our Billing Department to clarify the matter. We would have been happy to help you understand why we are no longer contracted with them, as we do care about our soldiers both past and present. We also appreciate you taking the time to speak with our Clinic Director about your experience, and hope that your conversation with her helped to clarify things. We are glad that you did have a positive experience with us in the past, and hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to help you live life better.
Fantastic experience: Simple exercises to do on your own to relieve pain and correct posture given by truely concerned practitioners.
Thanks for the kind review, Glen! We're glad you experienced the care from our team of experts!
Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience. So thankful for the therapist!

Fantastic experience: Loved it all of the PTs were super helpful to get me back to 100%.
Fantastic experience: Love the team at Nesin! They focus on healing and then on after care so that you can feel your best and get back to normal, or even better than before. The team that worked with me did a great job of explaining what and why they were doing the specific therapy that they did. Everyone was very supportive and took the time to get to know my goals and lifestyle. Highly recommend!

Not only did they focus attention on me while I was there, they educated me on how to help myself, strengthen appropriate muscle groups, and prevent future injury. Ashley, Mikayla, and Jane were a fantastic team! Thank you!

Negative experience: Average physical therapy place. Had trouble getting the specific therapy I wanted. Was told mist medical insurance coverage does not cover it. Looking at my provider coverage, it is covered.
Fantastic experience: A wonderful and caring staff!

Doing all the right things to get my therapy results to their utmost potential and push me to my limits to reach my end goal, back to 100%. The tools they've given have been very useful in my recovery and use for future warm-ups for the gym. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: After 1 session I was able to slightly bend my left foot toes for the first time in 13 years! Thank you so much Leann!
Fantastic experience: I have worked with several different therapist in this office. Everyone is very knowledgeable. They are patient and listen to you. They explain what they are doing and why. Would recommend Nesin to my friends and family.
We're so glad to hear about your experience with us! You'll always be a part of #TeamNesin!
Fantastic experience: I've worked with Nesin several times for almost 20 years concerning too many injuries. They are the best in town. They are friendly, know what they are doing and solve my problems every time. I like the way they rotate me among therapists so they can share knowledge and ability in treating me. There is no better place in town to go. I learned that first hand.
Fantastic experience: This place is always amazing! The people are very knowledgeable and give you a lot of time and attention unlike many other PT places. You will be one-on-one (unlike many other places) with your physical therapist and that makes all the difference. I came in after surgery barely walking and in just a few weeks I was back to normal activities. I'm very pleased with the speed of my recovery with the assistance from this team. Also, shout out to the amazing Mindy, Logan, and Amanda who helped guide me on this journey. You three are truly special people. Also the PT Aide Adrianna is amazing!
Fantastic experience: Excellent physical therapists. Friendly and professional office staff. Definitely helped me with the issue I was having. I would recommend them.
Fantastic experience: Great staff! They provided solid direction moving forward with teaching how to manage my physical restrictions. So pleased wit the outcome and thankful to have met such kind and friendly people!
We're glad our team was able to help you live life better, Cheri! Thank you for the kind review!
Fantastic experience: I started physical therapy at Nesin following ankle surgery. I had a great experience. All the physical therapists and staff, but Michaella and Ashley especially, were invaluable in my recovery. They were compassionate, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions I had. It was their top priority to make sure I felt confident returning to normal life after surgery. I highly recommend!
We're glad to hear you had a great experience with us following your ankle surgery! We're always here to help you live life better!
Fantastic experience: This is going to be another ( Ho-Hum) 5 star review. I started with Nesin with very low expectations. I had been told by 3 different Dr.s that I had Arthritis, take a pill and live it out. However none of the oral prescriptions really helped much and I felt that I continued a slow downward spiral. A referral from my Rheumatology specialist brought me to Nesin just 3 or so weeks ago. My experience at Nesin has given me new hope in modern medical practice. During the evaluation in the first 5 minutes with the first of three therapists I was to see, I felt heard. From then on I felt like I had joined a team, that would do everything in their power to bring me a successful result. The entire staff was professional in every way, prompt in treatment sessions, through with designing home exercise activities, correct with the billing! Truly a 5 star worthy experience for me. I'm 63, and just since finishing the in office work two days ago do I feel like I will be able to continue to enjoy the active outdoor lifestyle I used to enjoy. What a wonderful office! Sorry for the long review. Tom Blanchard

Fantastic experience: I am baaaccckkk! Before, below, was for a knee replacement that has done great. This time my back is not doing great and I am starting a tune up here with Brianna, who seems very thorough and kind. Look forward to their help! Let me tell you, before this, I have been very underwhelmed with my Physical Therapy experiences and felt them a waste of my time. Thank goodness, just when I really needed it, for my recent knee replacement, 2 friends convinced me to give Nesin Therapy a try. I canceled the place that had been picked for me and signed up for their closest location on Shoney Drive. I think I would really be in trouble now without their expert guidance and help. I have been rotated between 3 therapists who each bring a little different thought to my session but each is professional, motivational and kind. Easy in and out receptionists, and my insurance has paid every penny. Talking with other patients before therapy, all are happy and satisfied too and Nesin can handle a wide range of problems one might not think of for physical therapy - was even there for hearing problems somehow! So ask your doctor and get referred to Nesin is my advice!
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Easy to schedule, easy parking, easy dealing with the front desk. The PTs are excellent. Very knowledgeable. They listened to me and are helping me with the issues I am concerned with. I would highly recommend this place.
Fantastic experience: Thank you #TeamNesin!!! The care I received was amazing!! Smiling, kind faces from start to finish who were genuinely concerned about me and my health and recovery. I cannot thank you all enough!! Also, a VERY SPECIAL THANKS to Sarah, Gloria, Jonathon, Elizabeth, Jane, Ethan, and Brian. I really feel like I have made some new friends that made graduation day bittersweet! Your impact made a difference for me!! LIVE LIFE BETTER!
Fantastic experience: Today was my graduation day after several weeks of PT at Nesin, and I was actually sad to go. The team approach at Nesin is excellent as each person uses their individual expertise and techniques to fully treat the problem. My three therapists were Elizabeth, Sarah, and Gloria who were delightful to get to know, and helped me immeasurably. The professionalism experienced at Nesin is unsurpassed, and I'm very grateful for my treatments there. Kathy
Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the therapists and staff at Nesin! Can't function well without them, so I am a repeat patient. I love the fact that they treat patients one on one without moving among patients for a solid hour. These are my people, so I can never leave Huntsville! Thank you to Nesin staff!
Fantastic experience: I am so pleased with everything about Nesin. Everyone I have met there has been so kind and accommodating. My situation is unusual as even after tests, my doctor was unable to make a diagnosis; I was afraid the therapists would give up on me, but it is apparent it is their goal to make me better. Each therapist is drawing from her knowledge and experience in applying techniques that are helping me. I have dealt with pain for several months and I am now noticing improvement. The therapists knowledge, dedication, professionalism, and caring impress me at every visit. I highly recommend Nesin Physical Therapy. Louise Boller
Fantastic experience: Love this PT. The best in Huntsville and I’ve been to several PT facilities. They do deep tissue massage and therapy. I had a accident in Feb 2020 and still going to PT. Found the right place
Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best physical therapists I've ever had. They listen, they don't have me come in and do the same exercises that I've been doing like so many other physical therapists do, instead they'll do dry needling or cupping or show me new exercises that target where I'm sore. They actually focus on the issues and are more hands on than anyone else I've ever worked with. I can't recommend them enough.
Fantastic experience: Nesin is awesome! My therapists are amazing! Every time is a good time. So glad my pcp recommended me to them.
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Nesin and am so grateful for the quality care I received here! My pelvic floor was so weak after having two babies, and I feel like I'm finally back to normal! It was so worth the time and consistency. Plus, the staff feel like family now! I will miss them dearly!
Fantastic experience: Staff is awesome. They are friendly and knowledgeable. I have been here in the past for hip pain when I couldn't stand without hurting, now that pain is gone. I came back for shoulder pain when I couldn't reach above my head and now I can reach pain free. I'm back for neck pain and I know I'll be pain free in no time.
Fantastic experience: I first experienced the wonderful people of Nesin Therapy about 12 years ago. Then when I was prescribed PT again 2 years later, I again chose Nesin. Now, 10 years later I have once again chosen Nesin to help me out. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and I love the team approach that each therapist has a little bit of a different way of treating. I highly recommend Nesin Therapy.
Fantastic experience: Incredible people offering incredible services.
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Nesin! Their physical therapists, especially Dr. Trina, are amazing, competent, and take the time to listen to my problems and goals for treatment. In 5 short weeks, I was able to run a half-marathon without any IT band issues/pain. In addition to the exercises and stretches, Dr. Trina did dry needling and cupping and showed me how to do the cupping at home. The front desk was also very friendly and accommodating.
Fantastic experience: This stint with Nesin was for my right foot which was giving me horrible pain. The staff at the County Line Road office helped me with weak and tight muscles that were the culprits and cause of my pain. From hands on massage to cupping, dry needling, STEM and ultrasound therapy, they used their expertise to help me. They listened and prompted me to talk through my problem, and taught me exercises to do myself. They definitely have me on the right road to keeping the pain at bay and loosening up my muscles so that I can move more freely without pain.
Fantastic experience: Omg!!! These r wonderful people....they gave me hope ....when I thought I was not able to b helped. My first visit I left feeling better than I have in months..... I got into my vehicle and cried it was happy tears for once The staff was good to me and I could b able to thank u enough. Love y'all!!!
Fantastic experience: Staff was extremely compassionate and competent. I hated to leave after my therapy sessions were completed. I would highly recommend Nesin Therapy Services, Huntsville to anyone who needed caring and excellent physical therapy.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful people!
Fantastic experience: Nesin Therapy is amazing! For months I could not get a good nights sleep because of hip and sciatic nerve pain. After a few sessions and home exercises, I could finally get a good night’s rest. Every therapist I encountered was very personable and highly skilled. They definitely know what they are doing!
Fantastic experience: Nesin physical therapy was a huge came changer for me. I had been in pain for nearly a decade and have had met a plateau with my improvement in hip mobility and my ability to move without some level of pain. After meeting Michelle Nesin in a course she taught, I decided to drive 6 hours to be treated. She was able to identify the missing piece of the puzzle and addressed it with full resolution of my pain. I returned again postpartum to help me bounce back as smoothly as possible following a c-section. I’d recommend her and this clinic to the moon and back! Well worth a 6 hour drive... you are lucky if you live nearby to take advantage of their skills and treatments
Fantastic experience: Professional, kind, caring, efficient, punctual and helpful.
Fantastic experience: I use the office off of Airport Road. They have been working with me for sactic nerve pain during my pregnancy. The staff there is AMAZING! Elizabeth and Janet are the two therapist I work with and I love working with them!
Fantastic experience: I love the "hands-on" therapy at Nesin, which is unlike any other therapy. The therapists at Nesin specialize in one thing: physical therapy. This is what they care about, and what they gladly do with their lives. I admire their professionalism, compassion, thorough knowledge, and high skill levels. These therapists have brought me out of pain and/or disability and back to my best physical self possible. I have had physical therapy at other facilities, which have been "okay." Nesin, however, is GREAT. If I need physical therapy again, I will definitely return to Nesin, where I progress quickly and in a caring environment.
Fantastic experience: Nesin Therapy Services in Research Park is wonderful! I wished I had used them sooner for my ailment. Wonderful experience. They are tops in my book and I would highly recommend their services! They treat you like family!!
