If I could, I would give F.I.T. more than 5 stars! From the moment I stepped into their office, I felt welcomed and heard. They took the time to understand my condition before providing a precise diagnosis, which was later validated by an MRI. My therapist is gentle but also firm in her treatments and exercises, and she is very encouraging as I work to improve my back and hip. Everyone at F.I.T. is incredibly professional, kind, and friendly - I can't praise them enough!
Jim and his team are amazing! As a baseball coach, I was experiencing some back pain from throwing about 1000 pitches a week. Thankfully, my back is much better now and Jim was the first chiropractor I've encountered who understands the mechanics of throwing, so his practice is especially great!
For months, I had been dealing with a frustrating knee pain that kept me from completing my workouts. I was really pleased with the care I received from Dr. Allison; she took the time to listen to my symptoms and create a plan to help me get better. After our first appointment, I felt a sense of relief knowing I had someone devoted to my recovery and I saw a significant improvement after that initial session. In a few weeks, I was able to exercise like normal again. The best part was not only did my pain go away, but I also had the knowledge and exercises to prevent the injury from returning.
I was referred to Dr. Aaron for help with my migraines and tension headaches, which had become more frequent and intense. He developed a plan of action that included chiropractic care and soft tissue work, as well as some activities I could do on my own. Thanks to Dr. Aaron, I have seen a decrease in the frequency and severity of my headaches. I highly recommend him!
The whole team at F.I.T is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Bridgette is an extremely knowledgeable physical therapist and has been a great help in my recovery from a discectomy. Michael is an excellent chiropractor with a lot of patience and positivity - it is clear he is very passionate about helping people and he is really experienced in what he does. You will be in the best of hands with anyone at F.I.T. I would highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr. Allison at the Overland Park location since August of 2023 and I can't recommend F.I.T. enough! I've been on a journey with my chronic low back pain for over 4 years now, and I have been to multiple chiropractors, physical therapists and pain management clinics with little to no relief. I had stopped my weight training, and movement had become very limited due to pain and insufficient therapy. I had pretty much given up on finding relief and felt like I was no longer being heard by my doctors and that my issues were being dismissed. From my first session at F.I.T. I felt heard and seen. Dr. Allison has been thorough, persistent, and determined. It's been a journey of trial and error, and while I still have a long way to go with my recovery, I feel like I'm miles from where I started and getting consistently stronger with more mobility than I've had in years! I am so thankful that I found F I.T. and I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Allison and the Overland Park clinic!

Fantastic experience: Jay, was physical therapist for about two months. He tried his hardest to get to know me. Also, he tried to talk to me about anything. I was interested in to take away the pain he was giving me, but it was a good pain because afterwords and only took like 3 months to get rid of issue I had. Also just to let you know book with Jay. He was always booked so book three weeks ahead of time because he’s super busy so if he is super busy, you could hang out with Jimmy. He’s super awesome but not as mean.

Fantastic experience: I can not speak highly enough about Jimmy and what they do here at F.I.T.! I've been in car accidents and other muscle and skeletal injures and never had anyone address the problems I've experienced in a whole body approach. I've been told in the past, they can only work on what the doc wrote on the pt orders when logic say its the WHOLE BODY THAT NEEDS HELP! They address EVERYTHING. Fantastic experience: Michael Allison is the man. I've been an athlete my entire life and was told by a doctor that I was destined for hip replacement surgery. I went to F.I.T. as a last resort. Before I started the sessions I had days I could barely walk. 3 sessions into treatment and my pain is almost gone completely.

Fantastic experience: Started coming to F.I.T. Overland Park when I began having severe, vomit-inducing neck pain which caused a constant migraine. It even put me in the ER once. I had tried another chiropractic clinic, but didn’t feel they cared as much and I didn’t get a long-term plan for my pain management, or much information about what exactly was causing my pain. My brother has had a wonderful experience with another F.I.T. location, so I decided to make the switch. It is one of the best decisions I could have ever made! Michael made it his goal to get me feeling better, and became a friend along the way. After about a month, I am completely pain-free. This clinic truly cares about their patients and their well-being. I am sad that I won’t be making weekly visits anymore, but I am thrilled that I have been given my quality of life back.

Fantastic experience: F.I.T. was recommended to me from someone at OTF after I mentioned I was dealing with some tight muscles in my calf from an old injury. The front desk staff was very friendly when scheduling and when I showed up for my first appointment they clearly went over the payment process. I saw Dylan Crawford for 3 appointments where he suggested dry needling. While I can't say I loved the process (as someone who dislikes needles...) Dylan was fantastic and I saw very quick results. I really enjoyed working with the trainers and will definitely be back if I run into any other issues.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to F.I.T for over a year now, and at least half of that I've been working with Jay. He's fantastic. I have a lot of health conditions and my situation varies day to day. Constant migraine and fibromyalgia are the main ones that I go to F.I.T. for help with. It's been a game changer for the fibromyalgia, and my neck mobility has improved greatly. Jay does myofascial release as well as dry needling, and standard physical therapy to help me with my balance and strength. Honestly the sessions have become a big part of my life and everyone at F.I.T. has always been accommodating of my disabilities. I am able to have my sessions with very low light. Jay is friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. He also respects it if you aren't in the mood to chat. I'm so glad to have him as my physical therapist.

Fantastic experience: F. I.T. Was highly recommend by a friend. Priscilla has changed my life in the best way. Her diagnosis has been spot on. I have had back issues since the 90s and 2 back surgeries, the last one in 1996 with a lower back fusion. I have been working with a personal trainer, who is amazing, but I didn’t realize my back had reached a point of being “mad” resulting in severe lower back and leg pain. Priscilla’s treatments in just a little over 2 weeks have put my body in the healthy path I have desired for years. She and my personal trainer are working on my best fitness plan. I feel very blessed to be with the most amazing team. I highly recommend F.I.T. as the most professional, caring and friendly atmosphere as they put the best individual plan together for each client. Fantastic experience: I walked in initially with a back pain complaint that was keeping me from reaching my potential in workouts. At my first appointment, Priscilla determined that muscle tightness, weakness and overcompensation were all contributing factors to my back pain and I had no skeletal issues. After each visit, I walked out feeling stronger, more balanced and more confident in my progress. Overall, it’s been a little over 5 weeks and I’m much farther along in my recovery than I thought I’d be thanks to Priscilla’s care and recommendations!! Highly recommend setting up an appointment with these guys!

Fantastic experience: Dr Matt Dobratz Has been working with me to relieve pain in my hip and middle back and shoulder, he has been super helpful in aiding me in recovery! i’ve only seen him a few times but I am feeling significantly better. We’re doing a combination of dry needle therapy, physical therapy etc., he does a great job explaining everything and you can tell knows what he’s doing. The entire establishment and staff are incredibly kind and the facility is beautiful. highly recommend you check it out! any hairstylists or make-up artists out there that are suffering, give him a call!! I had years and years of poor posture and knots from my occupation they will customize a plan for you.
