The main reason people go to physical therapists is to find relief from their pain. F.I.T. is ready to connect those who need concussion management with an extremely experienced physical therapist who is well-versed in treating these injuries in people of all ages, especially those involved in high school or college sports.
I would give F.I.T. more than 5 stars if I could! From the moment I entered their office, I felt welcomed and heard. They gave me a thorough evaluation before accurately diagnosing me, which was later confirmed by an MRI. My therapist is gentle yet also very strict in her manipulations and exercises. She is understanding and encouraging while I work on strengthening and increasing the flexibility of my back and hip. I can't express enough how professional, friendly, and personable the staff at F.I.T. are!
Jim and his team are amazing! As a baseball coach, I had been having some back issues from throwing around a thousand batting practice throws each week. My back is much better now, and Jim was the first chiropractor I've come across who really understands the mechanics of throwing, so his treatment is far better than the average!
For months, I had been struggling with a persistent knee pain that prevented me from doing any of my workouts. I was very pleased with how Dr. Allison took the time to understand my symptoms and create a plan to help me get better. After our first appointment, I was not only relieved to have someone devoted to my recovery, but I also noticed a significant improvement after that first session. Within a few weeks, I was able to return to my usual exercise routine. What was especially beneficial to me was that not only did my pain go away, but I also had the knowledge and specific exercises to stop the injury from recurring.
I experienced a drastic rise in the amount and strength of my migraines and tension headaches, so I was referred to Dr. Aaron. He created a plan of treatment that included chiropractic care and soft tissue work, as well as activities and exercises for me to do by myself. Thanks to his treatment, the number and intensity of my migraines and tension headaches have gone down. I strongly suggest Dr. Aaron!
The whole team at F.I.T is friendly, welcoming, and skilled. Bridgette is an extremely knowledgeable physical therapist and has been very helpful in my recovery from a discectomy. Michael is an amazing chiropractor with lots of patience and positivity - it's clear that he is very passionate about helping people and he is really knowledgeable. You will be in safe hands with anyone at F.I.T. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I worked for the past half year or so with Davis Cantwell, who I have nothing but shining praise for. I went from being barely able to walk around my own house to consistent daily movement, huge reduction in pain, and overall peace of mind knowing my back wouldn't simply give out on me. He was diligent, attentive, and caring throughout our entire process together, and even on my hardest of days, when I was crying through pain, created an encouraging space of safety. Fantastic experience: After months of discomfort and pain in my heels and Achilles tendons I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Davis Cantwell. The experience has been life altering and I have regained the majority of my lost mobility and lifestyle. Through the use of Dry Needling and Blood Flow Restriction techniques in house and modified work out techniques at home Davis crafted an approach to my problem that provided corrective attention all through the week not just in office. Davis ask lots of great questions to ensure as complete an understanding as possible and revisits symptoms regularly to keep the program relevant and best of all, it was obvious that he was more interested in my not having to come back rather than keep me coming in to see him by fully supporting self care and providing strong feedback and guidance. Fantastic experience: Staff here was awesome, no complaints. Had some issues with my lower back from lifting and baseball overload and came in and saw Davis and have been seeing him for two weeks now and he got me back up to 100% and feeling great. Super great place and even better people would definitely recommend anyone to come in here with any problems especially sports injury related!

Negative experience: This place is referred to me and my wife from our GP at Olathe Med. We make the appointment and they tell us the Co-Pay will be $25. This is the first red flag, as my insurance does not require any copay of any knowledge and nor does my insurance require us to pay for any healthcare cost. So before we go in I tell my wife to just cancel, so she calls to cancel, but they convince her to come any way. So she shows up and they lady say insurance coverage was fine so my wife goes in for treatment, she says she loves the treatment and it helped her. She goes to leave and the lady at the front desk says great to hear, that'll be $125! My wife refuses to pay, as I told her to, as they treated me the same way previously. My wife told the lady that if it's going to be this type of bate and switch Everytime then forget about it. This place has competent PT staff but shady business practices. They want your business but not at the expense of having to deal with the insurance company.

Fantastic experience: Reid has been so helpful in my recovery from a lisfranc injury. I had surgery back in June and started PT with him in September. I have seen him religiously twice a week and am so impressed. He always makes sure to listen to what and how my foot is hurting. He adapts his treatment based off of that and will deter his plan if needed. There have been some setback in regards to my wound and healing but he has cheered me on every step of the way. He always has a positive attitude and is ready to work.I highly recommend Reid for any of your PT needs. My husband is an orthopedic PA and has started referring his patients because of the positive experience we have had.

Fantastic experience: Nate was FABULOUS for rehabbing my knee. I came to him after experiencing a dislocated knee and a torn ligament. Not only did he help me physically get back to where I needed to be, but mentally he helped me overcome my fear of dislocating it again and gave me the confidence to push myself on all the exercises. His physical therapy helped me heal to the point that I don’t need surgery!!

In addition to reduced pain and increased mobility within days of dry needling,, over the month of treatment, Davis gave my son a feeling of confidence by listening to him, validating him and giving him a sense of empowerment over his recovery!!! Fantastic experience: I saw Meredith Cabe when I was struggling with plantar fasciitis pain while training for a marathon. She was fantastic! She is extremely knowledgeable. Meredith was able to quickly diagnose the underlying cause of my foot pain and provide in-office treatment as well as exercises and stretches I could do at home. She also used dry-needling, which is like the best massage you never knew you needed. It only took about four visits before I was pain-free; I was able to continue with my training and run my marathon successfully.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Dr. Nate Greenwood for the past few months and I do not have enough words to express my gratitude. I am in my late 30s and have been battling daily knee pain for 3 years or so. I had finally had enough and didn't want to accept that it was just early arthritis. I started seeing Nate twice a week and within 3 weeks my daily knee pain had subsided. I have not had daily knee pain 2 months now and I am so grateful. I have also been able to amp up my workouts because I do not have the knee pain and swelling I had previously. While we continue to work on my IT bands and quads we are now moving to neck and shoulders. I work a desk job and harbor a lot of tension/stress in those areas. Fantastic experience: All the staff is so friendly and Davis is even more amazing! Came in for knee pain that started about 8 months ago from overuse in sports. I wanted to find a physical therapist that understood that I was an athlete and I wanted to stay physically active. Fantastic experience: I started dealing with daily headaches two years ago and was diagnosed with chronic migraines last year. I started seeing Nate three months ago when I was desperate for pain relief / headache prevention that I wasn’t getting with my current regiment. I heard that others who dealt with chronic headaches were seeing PTs / doing dry needing… so I looked into PTs who worked with headache patients and found Nate. I am so glad that I did. Nate has helped get my pain-free days back on track through dry needing, tool work (graston), and manual therapy. I have also noticed the severity of my migraines start to lessen. Nate has also given me exercises to help build strength and endurance in my neck and traps. Fantastic experience: I initially found F.I.T. and met Nate because of a referral for my daughter. During her appointment I felt he was very knowledgeable and attentive. He asks several questions so he can make an accurate plan conducive to your specific needs. I also greatly appreciate how thorough he is by explaining his plan of action, why he feels it’s the best course, and exactly what he is doing and his reasoning beforehand making it a way more comfortable experience. Coincidently, I also had an open PT referral due to a bicep tear, after my daughter’s appointment I had my referral sent to F.I.T. and now also seeing Nate. Fantastic experience: I started going to FMJC after having pain in my neck/shoulders from carrying my kids around. The relief was immediate after my visit. I also noticed substantial improvement in the level of tightness, thanks to the stretching exercises given to me. Fantastic experience: I am a college pitcher who has dealt with many years of arm issues. I came to FIT physical therapy after a couple of other physical therapists for a fresh look and hopefully a better approach. Immediately I was impressed by my physical therapist, Isaac Holtz. He not only preformed treatment and gave me take home exercises but he also went above and beyond by texting with me and my DO about new ideas and ways to get me healthy. Fantastic experience: I'm sixty years old and have never had to do physical therapy before. Have been experiencing rotator cuff pain for a while. Shoulder specialist recommended therapy to hopefully avoid surgery. I landed at F.I.T. in Olathe not knowing what to expect. My therapist has been Isaac Holtz. From the first visit he has been exceptional. He has taken time to get to know me and what my limitations are. With that knowledge he is working with me to regain movement and decrease pain. Of course I'd be lying if I said the sessions are pain free and yes I know this will not be something that will be done in a few short sessions, but... we are making headway. I am slowly getting movement back. Along with the sessions with Isaac I'm still expected to do my part at home. Isaac has been very good to communicate how and why we are doing the exercises we are doing and what we are expecting to see from them. Fantastic experience: I love Nate!! I have lived with pain for the last 2 plus years just thinking it would go away. It got worse and worse. When I went to my primary doctor she said I needed PT. My first thought was that PT is for people with broken bones. I was wrong. Nate knew exactly what I needed and how to get me on the path to recovery. Within a week my pain was dropping from a 10 to a 7 - the next week to a 5 and so on. Never again will I wait this long. Love the staff as well!! Great energy and so friendly. Fantastic experience: So happy to have found a great PT! 5 stars isn't enough. I have had good experience in the past, but moved and was looking for someone who does active PT work not just watching me do basic moves. Nate is using dry needling and exercises on my ankle that had been partially immobile since surgery 2 years ago. I have seen him twice and can already feel some improvement. He is not only knowledgeable, but fun and energetic. Also one of the most important aspects..... Front desk receptionist is top notch. It's a delight to see Taylor at the visits. She is super warm and friendly. She makes you feel very welcome.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Nate for almost a year now and he's been a lifesaver. I have DDD in my neck and have been so tight and was just hurting, until I got in with Nate. He has reduced my pain and now I come in for maintenance to help my muscles not to be so tight and I have less pain due to the care I have received. Also my daughter broke her arm in July and when she got out of her cast, she was just weak in her right arm and just couldn't do her back/front walkovers. I made an appointment with Sarah and within 2 weeks, she was much stronger and was back to doing her tumbling. Fantastic experience: This place is awesome Davis worked on me and I fill a lot better then I did when I went in and we are going to work on my areas I am having problems with can’t wait to see how everything is going to end up my muscles and joints are going to be filling better

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Davis for a couple of months. My left shoulder was giving me quite a bit of trouble and it interfered with my job. After a couple of appointments a week for about 2 months, I’m feeling better than ever!! Davis is awesome to work with and truly knows how to motivate his patients! Emily works the front and is an absolute jewel. She is kind and helped me with my complicated insurance requirements. I highly recommend FIT Muscle & Joint Clinic, Emily and Davis!!!!

Fantastic experience: Seeing Davis for physical therapy. I have had issues with my hip, back and neck. He’s helped immensely with dry needling, stretches, other treatments. Have noticed improvement already, and am looking forward to seeing where it goes.
