Fantastic experience: After several months of discomfort surrounding my SI-joints, I was referred to Oxford PT by my PCP. Though hesitant at first, I scheduled an appointment and was seen within a few days. I then had the pleasure of meeting Charley and Meredith; at that point my discomfort changed. They both worked with me to understand my issues and began working with me that same day. I even received cupping and dry needle therapy the very same day. After this appointment, i realized just how uncomfortable I had been. I am now able to do more than I could for months and it’s just the beginning of my therapy! Thank you Oxford PT!

The staff is not only caring and compassionate, but they fit the therapy to fit our lifestyle. Each therapist is well informed, friendly and very helpful. I felt like I was part of their family after my first visit. I appreciate the individualized treatment they give all of their patients.

Fantastic experience: I was having a problem with my right leg after my long runs. I met Charley at an injury clinic after a run. Talked with him about what was going on and made an appointment. Charley evaluated my problem show me some exercises and how to use them to help with my problem. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and nice.

Fantastic experience: I had my very first appointment today for my lower back. The staff were nothing but amazing. Diane at the front desk is super sweet and very patient. I had Carter as my therapist. While I was waiting for him to finish up what he was doing, another therapist, Ann, saw that I was struggling a little; she did offer me help. I explained everything to Carter about my back. He was very understanding. I do recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Could not hv asked for better care than what I received at the Independence, Ky, Oxford Therapy Anne was amazing with communicating and with her therapy exercises-techniques. She spent lots of time evaluating my concerns and assisted me in getting reports to my doctor in a timely manner. The entire staff was very attentive to the needs of all.

Fantastic experience: I'm an OT and VERY particular and picky about the services I get. I need someone who is professional and friendly but also know his job. This is exactly what I found at Oxford PT in Independence. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Charlie was just amazing. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and has a good sense of humor. He made me feel at ease, had sympathy with my pain and gave me a great manual treatment as well as an appropriate home exercise program. I'm looking forward to the rest of my treatment sessions and can wholeheartedly recommend Oxfort PT.

Fantastic experience: I am currently on my 8th time being rehabbed at Oxford in Independence. I would not go anywhere else. I have had great experiences every time. I can not speak highly enough about the staff, Charley, the head therapist; Ann & Carter the PTs , of which Carter is full time PTat Independence and always knows what is happening . Meredith and Daryl the PTAs are also awesome. The entire staff are always concerned with your rehab, will take as long as necessary to explain,.help, and guide. Isabel and several others who are for the desk and to help in general are great as well. If you need physical therapy, consider Oford PT in Independence,. You will not be disappointed and will come out way better than when you went in. Also Diane the main office staff is retiring this Friday. I wish her happiness in her retirement. She will be missed.

Fantastic experience: I just had my first visit to Oxford Physical Therapy for pain in my hip and back and was very happy with my treatment and with all the staff. Matt took the time to understand my situation, explained what was causing my pain, worked the area, and gave me exercises to do at home. I would definitely recommend!

Positive experience: I feel like the staff of the Oxford Physical Therapy center was very friendly and knowledgeable. The give each client very individualized attention. Charlie is the therapist that I worked with and feel that he was very vested in the care of each patient. I would certainly refer my family and friends to their office.

Fantastic experience: In JUly 2024 I went to the Oxford Physical Therapy center located in Independence, KY 41051 to treat an injured knee. I was impressed with everything about Oxford. The reservation staff is very business-like and efficient, and the therapy staff made me feel welcome. I greatly liked that they run a very clean shop, making sure that all chairs and treatment tables are constantly wiped down, and all towels are replaced after one use. My physical therapist, Carter Byrns, was very knowledgeable about the nature of my knee injury, and developed a complete program to treat and strengthen the injured knee, combining in-office exercises with illustrated handouts fully describing the exercises to be done daily at home. I will continue to practice the home exercises until recovery is complete.

Fantastic experience: This has been an eye opener. At St. E's therapy I only had 1 therapist. Now I have more to help me. They all greet me when I come in the door, as they do others. They work well with each other, it's like a family. Janet keeps busy answering phone and making appointments as she greets people coming in. Meredith has been very patient with me, I have short time memory and have to ask "how many" almost every visit. Kayla does a super work out with my arm, no pain for hours after I leave. Natalie is always cheerful and caring to everyone, she is a positive person. All the rest, I don't know their names, smile and welcome me.

Fantastic experience: Three weeks at Oxford Independence has accomplished what 3 months at a different facility did not. The pain in my shoulder is gone and my range of motion is nearly normal. I've worked with multiple staff members at the center and all have been friendly, empathetic, and most importantly, educated in the importance of providing manual therapy to release the adhesions in my shoulder. The whole staff from PTs to PTAs to administration and even student interns work seamlessly together to ensure each patient is engaged and that treatments are coordinated. This will be my first choice for any PT I may need in the future!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough positive comments about my experience at Independence Oxford Physical Therapy! I drive 40 minutes one way to get to their office, and it is worth every minute! Every therapist and staff member is very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and encouraging as they interact with each patient. I have been to them for knee surgery recovery, plantar fasciitis, a broken foot, and am currently there for shoulder surgery recovery. I had bad experiences with other physical therapy businesses, one of which resulted in severe pain from my hip all the way down to my feet after knee surgery. I switched to Oxford Physical Therapy (Independence) and they not only addressed my recovery from knee surgery, but also my back and hip that had been negatively affected by "therapy" at a different PT business. I am better than I have been in years due to their thoughtful and thorough therapy tailored just for me. It is unlike any other physical therapy establishment I have visited. Instead of just a list of exercises to work through and then you're on your way, your physical therapist meets with you each time, usually doing some kind of needed hands on work to aid in your recovery. They listen and they address any issues that come up with expertise and professionalism. Hands down the BEST physical therapy establishment around!
