Negative experience: I had a very disappointing interaction with Bob R, who displayed a lack of competence and professionalism. His treatment of my concerns was unethical and dismissive. I reached out to request information about my recent visits, but he was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I asked to speak with someone in a higher position, he insisted that he was the final authority. This experience has made it clear that customer care is lacking at this facility. If I could give a rating of less than zero stars, I would. Bob R needs to improve his approach to patient interactions significantly. Due to this incident, I will not be returning to this location and will not recommend it to friends or family. After suffering an electrocution and undergoing surgery, I expected better support in regaining my mobility. Unfortunately, I had to seek physical therapy elsewhere. I hope upper management takes this feedback seriously to improve the overall patient experience.

Fantastic experience: I recently finished my PT at RTA for neck pain. It was my second time coming here for an injury/pain over the past few years. I worked with Michael and Damien and they are awesome. My neck feels so much stronger now as a result of the exercises and stretches they showed me. Front desk staff (Bob and Kristin) are always amazing and friendly too. They play good music, and it’s a good vibe. If I need PT again I am 100% coming back to RTA. Definitely recommend them for your PT needs!

Negative experience: Disappointing Experience - Lack of Organization I had a highly disappointing experience with Restorative Therapy Associates my I made an appointment in advance and even showed up on time, but when I arrived, the guy at the front desk informed me that they didn't have me in their system. It's incredibly frustrating to have driven 30 minutes through heavy traffic on a Friday night, only to be told to call back next week.The guy at the front desk was very unprofessional and talked rudely to me, The lack of organization and communication at Restorative Therapy Associates is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect my appointments to be properly recorded and honored. This experience has left me feeling let down and inconvenienced. I hope that this facility takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements to ensure that this kind of situation doesn't happen to others in the future.

Positive experience: I'm disappointed with the service I received. I had four sessions all together. They were short and not much therapy was done except one session who I believe the therapist's name was Rick or Eric if I'm not mistaken, he worked on me, he was good.

Fantastic experience: I've come here for every injury I've had - neck, shoulder, bursitis, hand, recovery from surgeries - and I've never been disappointed. I've been to other physical therapy clinics before, but the energy, level of care, kindness, and atmosphere is what keeps me coming back to RTA. All the therapists are dedicated to your recovery, and they create such a light hearted environment. The receptionist Paola is amazing, kind, and welcoming. I've also met others receiving therapy (who are now my friends). I'm 66 years old and I've learned to not push through my pain - just get help and education about your injuries. I'm always happy to come here and happiness HEALS! I highly recommend RTA Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: RTA is giving me the best treatment I have ever had at a physical therapy organization. All of the people who work there are very good at pinpointing one's special needs and finding solutions for your problems. In my case, I need to learn to walk properly after having a hip replacement. I just mentioned to my therapist that my feet hurt so much I didn't know if I could learn to walk correctly. Immediately, he began to solve the problem. First he massaged my feet. Then he directed me to a shoe store that fitted me with shoes that did not press on my toes. I have confidence now that I will be able to master all the exercises that are required to get me back to normal. RTA is a happy place. Everyone is warm, friendly, good-humored, and outgoing. I feel better after every session.

Fantastic experience: RTA Physical Therapy is an excellent outpatient clinic located in Irvine. I first worked for RTA when I was an intern in PT school, and shortly after I got my license, I came back to work here. RTA is a rarity in that they provide an extensive amount of 1 on 1 time with each therapist. Furthermore, the therapists at RTA are extremely attentive and provide excellent care based off of YOUR specific diagnosis. A lot of Physical Therapy clinics today try to cram in as many patients as possible in order to increase their bottom dollar, but at the end of the day, RTA Physical Therapy cares more about the positive impact they make in their patient's everyday lives.

Fantastic experience: I have had a lot of PT over my life and have seen plenty of bad PT offices and some good but none as good as RTA. I have had 3 sessions each time with 3 different therapists who have their own skills and experiences. I really like that and feels they are each adding to my rehabilitating process in their own way. I feel that my progress is much faster than any I have ever had because of their individual ways of approaching my situation.

Fantastic experience: I found that thoughts giving therapy were very knowageable and new the treatment I needed. I found that after the treatment was given my pain had diminished quite a bit. The therapist were friendly. They explained what they were doing and why. I would recommend restorative therapy to any one who asks .

Fantastic experience: First time having PT. EXCELLENT experience. Professional and accommodating. More importantly, I felt relief of pain and had increased range of motion after my second session. I went for biceps tendinitis and rotator cuff syndrome. Diana was awesome. She was very knowledgeable. She explained everything she did and also which muscle was involved. Diana knew how to work with my vertigo and exercises were tailored to me. I also got home exercises to do that helped a lot. I was so impressed that she did "cupping" for me and knew how to help my tight muscles. I can not recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: My Occupational Therapist Sanam and her team is well trained and knowledgeable. Bri was a great attentiveness and care. She worked with me and made sure I did my exercise correctly and gave me tips to improve my hand issues. Before starting my sessions at RTA, I didn’t have strength and good grip. After few sessions I was able to get better. Sanam created a Care Plan helped me continue improve strengthen my hand.

Fantastic experience: Sanam is the best Hand Therapy Angel. She was able to close my fist for the first time. I can play better music because of her. I recommend her as she cares the most and very serious about her profession. Thank you Sanam.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to RTA by my podiatrist, who suggested I try it for a bone deformity and Achilles tendonitis issue. I was apprehensive at first, because I tried pt years ago at a different place and my foot was worse. I am pleasantly surprised at the level of expertise and care, I have been receiving from Joey. He listens intently and has recommended some at home stretches, as well as other exercises that I do when I come in for an appointment. So grateful that my podiatrist recommended I try pt again. It's been a great experience!

Fantastic experience: Great therapists and doctors who listen. I had extensive shoulder surgery and required immediate therapy. They were able to squeeze me in to their busy schedule, the doctor has shown great knowledge, compassion and has helped me with out causing pain. I appreciate how he explains everything to me so that it makes sense. I am thankful for this place and will not go anywhere else in the future. I highly recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: I have needed ongoing and intermittent physical therapy for many years but never quite felt satisfied with the care I received until I found RTA through a professional recommendation. I was recovering from a major surgery and needed extensive physical therapy. Derek, the owner, was amazing from our first meeting. He is kind, intelligent, and patient—always willing to explain things to me and even pull out an anatomy book to answer my questions about my injuries. I have been using RTA for over 10 years now, off and on, as I have the need, and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, I still feel safe going in to their office. They take safety and sanitation very seriously. I have referred many friends and even my own daughter uses them for physical therapy. Don’t hesitate to give them a call and make an appointment.

Positive experience: The facility is clean and all therapists work well together. My therapists (3) were very knowledgable & patient. The receptionist is very nice but keeps appointments in order. I would reccomend this facility to friends.

Fantastic experience: Brian is attentive and understanding, he is making sure I am well taken care of and don't push me out the door just because my appointment time is up! The fact he actually takes the time to make sure I fully understand my treatment. Sometime he has one too many clients. Brian is a great help!

Fantastic experience: I have been to several other physical therapists... RTA is the only one who figured out the problem and taught me exercises to get rid of my chronic neck & upper back pain for the long term. I can't recommend him highly enough and have referred several friends.

Fantastic experience: Restorative Therapy Associates is the best physical therapy facility in Orange County. I was one of their first patients when it opened. I had been paralyzed from the waist down with an infection in my upper thoracic area. I just woke one morning paralyzed & was in operating room within 5 hours, not knowing if I would ever walk again. After a week in the hospital, I went to a rehab center in Tustin for a month. That's where I met the owner of RTA, Derek DeCicco. The prognosis was that I would leave in a wheel chair. I didn't. I walked out of there in a walker because one day in therapy Derek said ' you're going to stand today & walk'. And I stood in my walker with his help & encouragement & took my first steps. As soon as I left the rehab center, I immediately went to RTA as an outpatient. I went from walker, to cane, to walking by myself. All because of the wonderful therapists at RTA. A year later, I had my second knee replacement & went directly to RTA from the hospital. These therapists are extremely talented & innovative in their therapy methods. They are professional but have a relaxed, caring & understanding relationship with their patients. They all work together, encouraging the patients & working towards a common goal of finding the correct solutions to each & every patients problems. I highly recommend their out patient facility & their new home health services.

Fantastic experience: Through the years I have had physical therapy in several different places. In many of those places the therapists often treat two and sometimes three patients at the time and quite often relegate a great part of the treatment to less experienced personnel who may be a different person at every session. Furthermore, the treatment often ends before the full hour. My experience at RTA (Restorative Therapy Associates) has been positively different. From day one I was assigned Vicki Tuggy as my therapist to treat the rehabilitation of my knee replacement and she stayed with me throughout the entire therapy. She was genuinely interested in my recovery and made me feel like I was the only patient she had. The atmosphere at RTL is always cheerful and conductive to a faster healing. I got to know everyone working there, including its owner, Derek DeCicco, who is also one of the therapists and who takes a personal interest in all the patients. Should I ever need further therapy in the future, I am coming back to RTA in a heartbeat

Fantastic experience: This therapy place has plenty of parking, both at level and basement level. The room is light & airy, with large windows you can see out of, but others not in, so it's private, too & has a bathroom in their facility, so you don't have to go out in the hall to reach it? The staff always greets you & are friendly, professional & very helpful. They handle the billing in such a way. That we haven't had any problems with the insurance companies, either. The PT & OT therapists dont just work with you to develop the help you need to overcome your issues, they give you encouragement to continue when the progression isn't as fast as you feel it should be, as well as what to ask your doctor, if needed. My husband really enjoyed working with them & felt they helped him immensely.

Fantastic experience: Their whole staff is qualified and trained to help. They did a great job with me. Together we came up with better, more targeted exercises and strategies to help the specific areas I needed to work on. It looks casual, but they are very good and insightful.
