Jackson Hand And Upper Extremity Center

Negative experience: I have never been to Jackson Hand and Upper Extremity Center, and I will never go there. Robin is obviously about money rather than patients. I am trying to be understanding here because I do get that this is a "business". My 22-year-old daughter-in-law was seen here for her hand in September of 2023. She tragically passed away in December 2023. Her insurance was billed but there was a balance of $298.16. My daughter-in-law and son were both full-time college students and worked full-time jobs. My daughter-in-law had her own health insurance and my son was still on my health plan. My son has not been able to go back to the home they were "renting" (they could not afford to own yet) and has moved 3 hours away into my house. That meant he had to quit his job. I have been trying to help him and her parents through all of this. It has been tough on all of us. I am not asking for a pity party here. Where my complaint is with this. I called Jackson hand and spoke with Robin to find out if they could adjust the $298.16 balance since Jackson Hand had received some form of payment from insurance. She was the rudest person I have ever encountered especially during an already sensitive time of losing someone you loved dearly and for causes we still do not know of yet. She basically told me that my son would be responsible for their house so he should be responsible for this bill. That not paying this $298.16 is about principle. I get there is "principal", but there is no life insurance, no money coming in to help, and a husband left here blaming himself every day for not staying awake all night. I am in tears here as I write this. I have tried to help my son through them and Emily's parents by taking on the responsibility of handling all of her stuff, but this is really overwhelming. I mean they lost their only daughter. I did not want to have to deal with her again. I got my credit card out and paid Robin and guess what? She GLADLY took my payment. I intend to contact the referring physicians to let them know that this is probably the rudest person I have ever had to deal with in healthcare EVER!! I wish I did not have to leave a star rating but I could not post this unless I at least marked 1 star!

Negative experience: I called Robin, and she got me in that same day.. should have been my first clue! I took my 8 month old little boy to get braces here for his thumb. Robin made him 2 braces, quickly, these both broke within 3 days of using them. And one blistered his skin and had a sharp piece on the end that left scratches on him. If you have a baby.. do not waste your time or money..

Fantastic experience: I've never worked with a provider with more passion!! Robin is EXTREMELY knowledgeable when helping patients with VASTLY different needs. I owe her clinic a debt of gratitude for giving me mobility back in my hand after nearly losing it. I have no hesitation in referring her clinic.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience! The whole staff is so friendly. . . Mrs. Robyn goes above, and beyond to figure out the problem that your having. I would indeed recommend her to any and everyone.

Negative experience: I have been waiting since mid September for a refund that is "being processed". After MANY phone calls and the run around each time I am now calling the BBB. No excuse for this at all. I paid my bill in March and the insurance also paid. I have a co-worker going through this same thing with them.

Fantastic experience: Robyn Roberts and her team helped me with my lower back problem. Robyn utilized the Dry Needle therapy and the results were amazing. Robyn is certified with this therapy and she is awesome!!!!
