Athletico Physical Therapy - Shorewood

Fantastic experience: The entire staff makes you feel welcome. You always get a big welcoming smile from Morgan right when you walk in the door and that always helps you start your sessions off the right way! The quality of care you receive is well above any other physical therapy program I've had. It isn't overly crowded so you get more one on one care and attention. AND...My OT, Frank, at the Shorewood facility is the BOMB!!! I highly recommend ATHELTICO PHYSICAL THERAPY IN SHOREWOOD

Fantastic experience: My daughter is 6 and she has juvenile idiopathic arthritis. She fell and fractured her wrist and need OT. No pediatric facilities could take her due to wait lists.athletico got her in right away set her up with their hand and wrist specialist (Frank). Every tone there is super friendly and accommodating. My daughter loves going to therapy, they make it fun for her. I’ve been to many PT places that are not up front about prices. Athletico is very upfront and transparent about pricing and their treatment plan. I cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: This clinic is by far the best PT experience that I have ever had! !! I love everything about it from the amazing staff to the atmosphere! While the staff (Matt, Kelly, Frank, Mollie and Morgan) are so knowledgeable and professional, they create a fun environment where I feel relaxed and happy to be there! Fantastic experience: My doctor suggested I see Frank, the outstanding occupational therapist at Athletico in Shorewood. After shoulder replacement my dominant hand and fingers needed improvement in range of motion and strength-prehension. After my initial evaluation with Frank, i was already making a fist. Through his one on one massaging, his calm, patient encouragement, his practical and clever manipulatives, and ideas for practice between appointments, i am able to use my hand and can maintain my progress at home. I am so grateful to Frank for his skills, time, knowledge, and help during therapy sessions and am thankful every single time i accomplish a task i couldn’t manage before. Fantastic experience: I received care from Frank B following hand surgery for a Dupuytren's contracture. Frank's expertise in hand therapy is second to none. After only a few sessions my range of motion increased significantly. Frank even accompanied me to my follow appointment with my surgeon where they discussed in more detail the prognosis for full recovery. This kind of attention only happens at Athletico, without hesitation I highly recommend Athletico Shorewood.

Fantastic experience: Frank was great. Helped me to get back to work. I could barley move my pinky and it was so swollen but quaking with him I can make a fist and went back to work. Morgan was awesome aswell. Always there to greet you with a smile and help you anyway she can.

Fantastic experience: In the couple of months that I went for physics therapy, I couldn't have been happier with the staff, treatment, and outcome. Matt and Kelly are fantastic therapists. They know what they are doing and do want to see you get better. They are great people with great personalities and a great sense of humor. Their support staff is top-notch as well. That goes to Chris, John, and Morgan. The treatment is worth the pain! They push you so that you do progress properly and highly recommend giving your full effort. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome for my partially torn Achilles tendon. Shout out to Frank as well! Keep up the good work, team!

Frank has exceptional knowledge and experience. He got my son’s full range of motion back after tearing his UCL. The previously injured arm is now stronger than the other arm. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this location. Good Physical Therapy Experience!!! It’s unbelievable with how much improvement I am having with my feet and ankle. When I first came here… when I walk it will hurt my feet a lot, my feet was stiff, tingling and ankles was stiff. It’s been over a month and it doesn’t hurt to walk as before and I am able to roll my ankles and I’m not stiff. I have exercises I can continue on at home to help improve during the therapy. Matt Erwin is so helpful with explaining and recommending different things to do to help you improve. He’s the best. He is professional, patient and work well with helping you. The receptionist Morgan is so pleasant and professional. This is a clean and friendly environment and they are willing to listen and help you improve and get better. I love the availability of scheduling and I love how compassionate and friendly the staff are.

Fantastic experience: I had an injury to a muscle in my leg and went for treatment after about 1 week of rest. They helped me so very much even after the very first visit. I was able to walk out of their facility about 40% better than how I went in. After the Inital visit with the covering PT, I continued on with Kellie. She is just fantastic and can’t say enough about the wonderful care they provide. Will def go back, just hope it is later rather than sooner.

Fantastic experience: There are few places I trust with my health, but the staff at Athletico won me over. I came in stiff and an unable to easily perform my normal everyday tasks. Within a month they had me operating back at 90% percent! There is still some healing to go, yet I know with their instructions I’ll be back to pain free lifestyle sooner than I expected. The only thing I would change about the experience is to possibly update the decor in the building. Healthcare should be modern and sleek.

Fantastic experience: I started my 2/week PT sessions on 8/8/22 for severe lumbar back issues. Matt Irwin, Clinic Manager, and Assistant Kelly Menten set me up with series of exercises, which were modified as time went on, to try and maximize results. My right backside became more of an issue, so further adjustments were made. I had, had an injection for my left side, which with the therapy, became less of an issue. Another follow up visit with my back doctor resulted in needing a second injection for my right side. Since the therapy had reached " all they could do for now", I am doing home exercises, and will see how the next injection works. All in all, the folk's at the Shorewood, Il. APT clinic are very professional, thorough, in explaining everything. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: My initial phone call to this facility, was a positive experience. Morgan was very helpful when answering my insurance questions. Matt, my therapist, is professional and personable. He explained my course of treatment and added exercises at each session. He also incorporated exercises that I can do at home, which I believe aided in my healing and recovery. The techs were also very helpful when working with me. After six weeks, my treatment has concluded, and I am feeling much better. I would return to Shorewood Athletico if ever needed and I highly recommend this facility to others!

They walk the perfect line of pushing you will being encouraging and understanding. I would recommend them to anyone needing PT. I have six surgeries on my knee and a manipulation and they are the reason I have made the progress I have on my recovery journey.

My 11 year old had chronic pain in his legs and feet and we walked in for a consult. Never would I have guessed that we would have met someone that made us feel overwhelming comfortable and put us at ease so quickly. I went elsewhere one time to save money and go to an insurance in-network physical therapy place. I figured they are all the same. I was extremely wrong. I decided to pay the extra money out of network and put in the time at a place that knows what they’re doing and is actually helping me heal than to save money and still be in pain. Also Morgan at the front desk and the the aids are great. The place is very clean as well which is very important to me.I would highly recommend Athletico in Shorewood to anyone who needs to get themselves to a pain free life.
