Fantastic experience: The Physical Therapy team are great people who care about their patients. Yes they push you and at times therapy is rough but they do it to get you back to normal. They do it because they care about people. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Though the therapy was a good experience the billing department is nothing but lazy and lying. They claimed they billed our insurance and was denied but they didn't. Then then take out of my bank account 1/2 of what we owe on one payment and the other half in another payment. They send you an email to setup payment and then tells you they can't setup a payment with you that they have no control over the email and the payment that it states to come out will come out and they can't stop it. Insurance has no record of the claim. We will never go to them again due to their billing dept. 4/11/24 So on 3/20 TP refunded the money. I'm the one that sent the invoice into the insurance company. I don't know if they'll pay off the invoice I sent. It shouldn't be my job to do this. Insurance said it will take 8 weeks. It's only been 3 weeks and now instead of telling me their going to take out 1/2, they're taking the whole $736. I asked them for claim numbers they received from Cigna and of course their system was down. It's bad enough I'm dealing with cancer and now I have to deal with this. Send the claim in the proper way or wait the dam 8 weeks the insurance told me. So tomorrow I have to get on the phone with them again. DO YOUR JOB!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pappala is amazing and performed hip replacement surgery on my mom, she is 86 year old. She healed really well and now she can walk again with her walker, without any pain. It’s definitely great to see her smile again. I also wanted to give a shout-out to Blanca, who helped me navigate through the process and was very patient with answering my questions.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to make a full recovery! Wonderful therapists who work with you through every step if recovery I had pt for total hip replacement 2 years ago. Now I am back doing ot after extensive hand surgery. I would recommend to all my family and friends!

Fantastic experience: I went in to get fitted for a brace for my hand. The tech took her time, explained what she was doing and made sure when I left that I had a brace that was a perfect fit. I was highly impressed with her care, her kindness and her professionalism.

My therapists were awesome and worked with me to get range of motion back and start working on strengthening my shoulder. Fantastic experience: I started out with a 90deg range of motion on my right knee. My Doctor's goal was 122deg after PT. Now, after two weeks under the gentle and friendly supervision on Dinah, Alyssa and there assistants, my range is 112deg. I'm now armed with some professional knowledge to reach my goal on my own. Fantastic experience: Great facility. All the staff are vested in your rehab to get you back on your feet again. From the time you walk in, front desk staff, therapist, assistants treat you with respect and truly support you to help you get better. I’ve been to other PT facilities and will not go to anywhere other than the Joliet IBJI. Truly a wonderful, professional and caring staff and I thank them for helping me again regain my mobility. Fantastic experience: I have always had a good experience at IBJI therapy. Everyone there is just great. This is my third time there.

Negative experience: The clinic is very nice, extremely clean, sufficiently organized and with plenty of techs to help run things when the frequent crowds of patients come in. Which is their biggest problem. They are great at what they do so long as you have zero unique needs or don't fit their 'form fitted' ideals what THEY view as what you should consider 'functional existence for you age'. Anything outside of that will require hours of your own personal time documenting your needs (at their request) which results in a smile to your face and even discussions on a plan how to get you where you need to be, only to receive a nasty surprise an hour after you leave the clinic they send the doctor a letter stating they wish to just discharge you to home exercise knowing full well they have completely blown apart your livelihood. It is so unprofessional and so difficult to understand why if they can't or won't help a person they just don't say so instead of forcing you to waste weeks of your time which could have been spent elsewhere with someone who DOES understand your livelihood and DOES have the commitment to help you get back to it? For the record, I own the business I work for and I love what I do. Thankfully, I have now connected with a specialist WITH the necessary facility and understanding who cares enough to do more than just the cookie cutter job. Personality wise, most of them are very nice. A couple of them, not so much. But then again, smile to your face and make you feel like your are care for only to stab you in the back? You be the judge.

They care, they are professional, they make you feel like family, and you actually enjoy going to PT knowing you get to see them and are healing at the same time! Fantastic experience: They did my PT on Right Shoulder in 2019 and now my Left Shoulder both times had extensive surgery, I love Anna and Amy I had them both times. Everyone there is very nice. They schedule right away and set you up for multiple visits. I go to the West Side IBJ.
