KC Sports Rehab Physical and Hand Therapy

Fantastic experience: This is THE REHAB Facility to go to in KC if you want the best progress!!!!! You wont have a crowded room with everyone talking! You will get GREAT INDIVIDUAL ONE ON ONE Physical therapy!!!! You wont feel like they are working with you quickly in order to fit in the next appointment! You will feel them going over everything at the end of your session to be sure you know what to do when you’re at home! You wont feel like your just a number! You will feel they know who you are and what needs to be done for your individual therapy!!! It’s CLEAN, GREAT PT equipment and the FRIENDLIEST staff!!!! I have been extremely impressed with my physical therapy at SPORTS REHAB!!!!

Fantastic experience: My primary care dr recommended KC Sports Rehab and they were wonderful. From the first phone call with Marcela to the rehab experience with Shannon, all went great and I feel much better. Went for arm/shoulder pain, spent 6 weeks in therapy. Scheduling with the front desk staff was convenient and worked out for my schedule. Shannon's expertise and personal interest in my case was exceptional. Her recommended exercises and stretching at home were a big help in addition to the care in the clinic- could not be more pleased. THanks again!

Fantastic experience: This facility is tremendous. I have used them for both hand therapy after surgery (Jeff), and knee therapy (Morgan). They really listen to you and work with your schedule. My results were great. The friendliness all begins with the front desk. If you need therapy, please consider using this facility.

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful for Meredith and Jeff. When I first went for hand therapy I was scared, however I was quickly comforted when I met Meredith and Jeff. Meredith assured me I would heal and I really needed that reassurance at the time. Over the course of weeks I saw progression with my hand. Everytime I go into therapy I'm very comfortable because of these two remarkable people. Jeff is funny, Meredith is very kind. The hot sand machine really helps loosen my joints up. The massage on my pinky feels really good. The conversation is always great also. Both these people love helping people and that is apparent by their empathy, kindness, and willingness to educate. The 3 ladies behind the counter have the best customer service I have ever had at a medical practice or rehab. I was apprehensive to go at first, but now I am very glad I did. My finger wouldn't have healed as fast or as well without this practice. Thank you, Meredith and Jeff for listening to me and helping me. Most of all thank you for being down to earth and kind. God bless you all. I forgot to mention the gutter splint that Meredith made me was better than a cast. The splint was a game changer while I healed. The splint kept me safe and protected.

Fantastic experience: What an awesome place that helps people! My husband has been seeing Meredith for hand therapy. Over the last month my husband's hand has not only healed, but it is almost as good as before he broke it! I am so grateful that there are people out there helping others and truly are good at it. Fantastic experience: Excellent service from checking in to my therapist Morgan - she helped me recover back to 100% after shoulder surgery. I had all the confidence she knew exactly how far to push me and when to be patient with my set backs. Fantastic experience: Meredith, my hand therapist was the best! Right there along with Jeff. A great duo! Fun atmosphere but painful at times. No pain no gain. Right? The front office staff was helpful and friendly! I recommend KC Sports Rehab hand therapy many times over.

Fantastic experience: My physical therapy was for a sciatic nerve and an arthritis issue in my lower back. When I began therapy I was in relative discomfort. My therapist, Morgan was fantastic. She explained each bit of therapeutic exercises I did and why. She was so encouraging when sometimes I felt somewhat defeated by my limitations. Morgan helped me with the physical science and with supporting my determination. Two months later, I am strong, have travelled and am able to ride my bike and walk longer distances with no physical repercussions. I am so grateful. The staff at this location were also pleasant and effective.

Fantastic experience: I went to Sports Rehab for a shoulder injury and found the experience excellent. The therapists were professional, friendly and fun. My injury has been fully recovered and I thank Sports Rehab for that result. Thanks again.

Positive experience: I have been there before for Physical Therapy. This time I was there for Photopheresis ultrasound of a tendon. I kept questioning when my ultrasound treatments were hurting (shouldn't feel a thing) that maybe they were doing it to strong. A simple google search shows that the 3 MHz that they used was literally burning my skin. They kept increasing the time and my last session was 10 min. Standard is 3-5 min, and I ended up with a swollen leg and a burn in addition to my already injured tendon! Please don't let the Interns work on/with you!

Fantastic experience: I chose to go to Sport Rehab for Physical Therapy after my hip replacement. Joe Huber was assigned to me as my primary therapist. He was knowledgeable, professional and caring. The COVID protocol was consistent and safe. I would highly recommend, without reservation, Sports Rehab for any physical therapy treatment.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Jeff and Meredith. They were great. I choose this group after hand surgery caused by arthritis. Both were very experienced and caring. As an aside they were both very nice professionals. I intend to have the same surgery on my other hand unquestionably I will return to KC Sports Rehab.

Fantastic experience: I have used Sports Rehab for years. They’ve helped me through several knee surgeries including two knee replacements. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for PT.

Fantastic experience: I went to KC Sports and Rehab after injuring my lower back. Joe Huber and Ashley Prohaska were the therapists that I worked with. Both were very knowledgeable and were a great help to me. I was in a lot of pain when I first began but I now feel 100% better after almost 3 months of therapy and am So glad I didn't pursue some recommended back surgery from a surgeon I saw. I consider the therapy a miracle and attribute it to the plan of action by Joe. Both therapists gave me print-outs of the exercises I needed to do at home which was extremely helpful. At my last visit, Joe gave me a print-out sheet with the most important ones to continue. It was a nice atmosphere and Joe and Ashley were fun to visit with and very patient. I probably saw Joe more and would Highly recommend him as he really works to make his patients better. Ashley is excellent too so would recommend both.

Fantastic experience: I came to KC Sports Rehab for "pre-hab", as prescribed by my surgeon, prior to a knee replacement. I worked with both Morgan & Ashley. Both therapists made sure I was ready for a surgery and a successful recovery. I returned after my TKR for my rehab & had another great experience. I had to do virtual therapy for two weeks due to a Covid exposure when only four weeks out from surgery. Morgan & Ashley, made sure I didn't miss a beat. They did a great job of keeping me on track. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Jeff DeVries was the therapist who saw me. He was friendly and professional. Jeff took all the time necessary to be sure that the custom finger splint he made fit perfectly and was very clear in providing directions for it's use and why. I appreciated his friendly, caring proessionalism. Thank you so much, Jeff!

Fantastic experience: I've been here a couple times for different injuries, & suffice to say, without the help of Caleb the first time, & Allison & Margaret this last time, I would not be back on the soccer field!! Great Place!!

Fantastic experience: Jeff Devries, Occupational Therapist and certified hand therapist took care of me for a hand injury while I was in town visiting. This injury was 10 weeks old and I was not satisfied with the therapy that I was getting before I met Jeff. I was referred to Jeff by my sister who is currently being followed by Jeff for a hand injury. Jeff is a highly skilled hand therapist. He is the consummate professional. His approach on the first visit was to get very detailed and precise information and measurements of my fingers and overall hand function. He followed up with therapy and fabricated a splint appropriate to the injury and evaluation results. I saw Jeff two more times after the initial visit. Jeff listened to my concerns and provided knowledgeable feedback and suggestions for tasks to do outside of the therapy session to enhance and improve function and healing. Jeff went out of his way to accommodate me while I was in town. Additionally, Jeff is just a nice guy and engaging! I will be returning to visit the KC area in the near future and will definitely see Jeff again when I am back in town. I highly recommend Jeff for Occupational Therapy and any hand therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: Came here for physical therapy on my shoulder. The whole experience was great, from the front office staff to my therapist, Allison. She is AMAZING and really knows her stuff! So knowledgeable, personable, and fun to work with. I saw significant improvement in my range of motion and would come back here if ever needed again!

Fantastic experience: I have used KC Sports Rehab PT following rotator cuff surgery and following a reverse shoulder replacement. In my 80s, I have worked previously with various other PT providers whom I considered to be very good. Due to the expertise of their PT staff, the range of their equipment, and even the competence of the staff at the front desk I consider Sports Rehab PT to be outstanding and am truly grateful. SLP

Fantastic experience: I had knee replacement surgery. I went to another physical therapy place and made no progress. Thank goodness for KC Sports Rehab. By using water and land therapy I made remarkable progress. KC Sports Rehab pairs you with a therapist who stays with you through your journey. I would not go anywhere but KC Sports Rehab.

Fantastic experience: I went through two knee replacement surgery recoveries with these people. Most of time in 2019 was spent with them. Ashley, Caleb, Troy, Marina ... they are all wonderful people and very professional. I almost hate the fact that I'm recovered now ... almost. I'm looking forward to my next ailment so I can come back.

Fantastic experience: Land and pool therapy! The best! I have gotten so much stronger and more equipped to handle two knees that are bone on bone with these fine therapists from Tyler, Darrel, Ashley and even a PT in training Quentin!! You get individual help and an understanding of what the exercises do for you! The Pool is relaxing, warm and truly the best for my joints!! I drive across town to see these folks and you would benefit from their expertise of 40 years of service too! Shout out to everyone at KC Sports Rehab Physical and Hand Therapy job well done!

Fantastic experience: Working with the various PT’s here for both pool and land therapy has been the best experience. They work me hard and my progress has been phenomenal. I am grateful to have been referred here post op.
