The Brain and Spine Institute has established a Comprehensive Stroke Center to reduce the harmful impacts of stroke on our population. This center offers a streamlined process and a team of specialists to manage the complex treatment of stroke.

The Cole Center is a neurology clinic specializing in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and a variety of other movement disorders, such as tremors, dystonia, chorea, and drug-induced abnormal movements. It has a highly experienced and diverse medical staff, and utilizes the most up-to-date technology to meet the needs of its patients.

We are a comprehensive neurology center offering consultations, Nerve Conduction Studies (electrical testing of nerve activity), EMG (evaluation of muscle and nerve activity), and EEG (brainwave assessment).

University Neurohospitalists is a medical facility that specializes in inpatient neurology and provides consultation services for stroke and general neurology patients.

Fantastic experience: I went to UT Physical Therapy in Hardin Valley after a motorcycle accident ,it was the best choice I could have ever made.Adam my therapist has literally changed my life. Negative experience: $550 for one visit and they tell you that you don’t go into healthcare in East Tennessee for money. Someone obviously missed that memo here.

Fantastic experience: I had double knee replacement and UT Physical Therapy was recommended by friends. Dr. Britt was very professional. He took the time to explained everything to me. I always felt comfortable! He is very understanding and knowledgeable. The staff is professional and extremely friendly. Highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: My experience at the Hardin Valley location has been excellent. Britt Dalton is very caring and supportive and explains everything completely. He knows so much, and I couldn’t have chosen a better Physical therapist to help me recover from surgery. Julie at the front desk is also wonderful to work with.

Fantastic experience: I drive 45 minutes each way to go to this PT department. Everyone there really cares about the patient. Britt Dalton is the best Physical therapist around. He’s no nonsense but so good at what he does. He’s meant a lot to me through some very hard times. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend UT Physical Therapy at Hardin Valley. Over the past 3 years I have gone there on 3 occasions and had 3 different PTs. They were all excellent.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love Dr Britt and staff. I’m undergoing rehab from rotator cuff surgery and it is going really good. Having had shoulder surgery/rehab on the other arm I was really dreading it. This experience is MUCH better and I’m happy to say I am “above the curve” due to the excellent treatment.

Fantastic experience: This the best physical therapist I have ever worked with. They listen, answer questions, and explain everything very clear. They use innovative exercises that really help and teach you everything to do at home. They helped me avoid surgery or an injection for my shoulder and are also doing great work with my daughter's knee problem. I was able to get back to playing professional racquet sports much faster than expected.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Britt is an excellent physical therapist. Knowledgeable and experienced; keeps up-to-date with the latest medical research. Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable caring and friendly are three of the words I would use to describe the staff at UT Physical Therapy Hardin Valley. Britt Dalton helped me to get back to real life after my bilateral hip replacements several years ago. Now they are helping me to regain strength and mobility in my shoulders. I can't say enough good things about the care I receive there.

Fantastic experience: Dr Britt is awesome. I have sciatica and Britt is working with me and has helped me learn a lot about this and how to help myself. I have faith in this skill . He cares and takes the time to explain and help me understand this affliction. His staff is pretty awesome too. Sam has been very helpful in setting up my appointments she is friendly and caring. Awesome team in my opinion.
