I am forever grateful for her persistent questions and analysis that uncovered unknown causes of pain. Her sessions sometime gave me other healthy ideas to adopt which improved more areas of life. Fantastic experience: Jordan Theriot, DPT, at Acadiana Pain and Performance is truly a game-changer-his expertise, exuberance, and genuine care make every session count. He listens deeply to both my physical and mental needs, guiding my recovery with positivity and professionalism. When I started, walking two blocks was tough, but thanks to Jordan and the incredible, caring staff, I just walked a mile and a half this weekend! If you want a team that’s dedicated, uplifting, and committed to your healing journey, I can’t recommend Acadiana Pain and Performance enough.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Derrick for several years whenever I need to get my body right. He’s the best in the area with dry needling, addressing muscle imbalances, pinched nerves and so much more. He’s extremely knowledgeable and I fully trust him with his treatment plans. Throw in cryo and you walk out feeling amazing. The staff is welcoming and friendly, do a great job of getting you scheduled and keeping things on time.

Fantastic experience: I was treated by Dr Derrick Hines for PT after knee surgery and also lower back pain. The office staff is amazing and so nice! He developed a treatment plan and I can walk better and also my back is so much better! The cryotherapy is amazing and I still go back for that service and they have red light treatments also! It’s located in the oil center so it’s easy to get to which is a plus

Dr. Hines and the rest of the team at Acadiana Pain and Performance go above and beyond for their patients from the moment you walk through the door. From targeted dry needling therapy, to recovery sessions in the cryogenic chamber in H.E.R.O. spa, and all the treatments in between - the staff and administrative personnel at Acadiana Pain and Performance are here to help you achieve your physical goals!

Negative experience: This review is solely based on a 50.00 no show policy. I successfully canceled two previous consecutively scheduled appointments through text last week with no problem. I accidentally must have hit yes instead of no replying to yesterday's text, which is my fault if this is what happened. But, my problem is, although this happened by accident, I feel that I should not be charged. I was/am pretty sick with Covid now and I would never risk going in knowing the possibility of giving covid to any of the employees or patients. Lastly, I think due to the circumstances that this should be waived. Apparently, they think differently. Two weeks ago, I arrived at my appointment 10 minutes early and I literally had to wait just over an hour before being seen. Nobody that day even came to check on me as I sat in the exam room and the way I look at it is that this was unacceptable and we as patients don't receive a credit for having to wait in a room for an outrageous amount of time. It's almost hypocritical in my opinion. I actually had to reschedule another appointment with my other Dr, who did not charge me a missed appointment fee because there was no way possible to make that appointment due to the long wait time I had before receiving my treatment by Acadiana Pain. As good as the Dr is, I will never go back there again and I will say that Dr Jay is fabulous! 50.00 may not mean a whole lot to some but as a disabled Vet on a tight budget, I strongly feel that this fee could have been waived due to the circumstances.

Fantastic experience: Chris and his staff provide professional service with a smile. I have definitely seen a lot of positive changes in my overall spine health, manage sciatic pain, and have been able to get rid of planters fasciitis through the use of chiropractic care, dry needling and physical therapy provided by these awesome providers. I recommend them to anyone who is in need of pain management for any type of skeletal or muscular issues.

Fantastic experience: Started seeing Claude for dry needling and therapy for my back this year. I’ve had back pain (and in different areas of my back) for years and also seen several specialist, therapist, chiropractors, etc. Claude just gets it! By the end of my FIRST visit and consult, he knew where I was hurting, how I was hurting and what I’d do to compensate when I hurt just by how I was sitting moving, BREATHING, leaning, like… I can’t explain it! I thought we were just having conversations about my various physical extracurricular activities through the years and how I landed in the PT office, but really he was observing me, while still engaging in in dept conversations. This man is absolutely incredible and if you’re unfortunate enough to need a physical therapist, pray your fortune to cross paths with him. His wit and humor make the dry needling less intense also. (I’m a big baby when it comes to needle lol) 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: I and my spouse lead an active lifestyle and sometimes this leads to injuries particularly after a certain age. Both of us visit the APPR regularly to get ourselves 'tuned-up'. The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous. Sri treats us and had made a very positive impact on our well being. She is young but still very experienced and has deft hands in dry needling. Fantastic experience: I saw Sri for dry needling on a back injury I sustained weightlifting. I lived with the pain and dysfunction for almost a year naively assuming it would eventually go away. I learned about dry needling and scheduled an appointment with APPR based on recommendation. Sri has an excellent bedside manner and is incredibly knowledgeable of human body and movement. Not only did I get the healing I needed, but I also learned a ton from her through conversations during our sessions. All of the supporting staff (PT techs, front desk personnel) are warm and friendly and always made me feel welcome by remembering me and following up on progress and previous conversations. Love this place. Will always go back to them if I need healing.

From the moment I picked up the phone to make an appointment to walking into there facilities, the entire staff was very polite and accommodating. After years of dealing with nagging aches and pains I finally made an appointment to see Chris Davis. After the first visit I could already see a difference. I have gone multiple times in the last year and have never had a bad experience. I’ve always walked out feeling much better than when I walked in. I would definitely suggest taking advantage of some of their other amenities… Cryo-, float tank, and Beamer are all state of the art!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Davis after having an epidural shot in my back that didn't help and gave me no relief in my back. I had never had dry needle therapy before and was not sure it would help, but within 3 months I am active again. I have had a trigger finger for years that i was sure would need surgery to fix but he has been working on it and i am now able to sleep without it getting stuck at night. Fantastic experience: Such an amazing experience! I have been dealing with shoulder and elbow issues from competing in CrossFit over the last ten years! Chris Davis is my go to guy to keep me competing in top shape. My monthly visit keeps me able to perform at my best from dry needling to being adjusted where I need to be. He is hands down the best in town! Highly recommend athletes see him if they are dealing with any issues due to CrossFit.

I have been in pain for 16 years resulting from injuries I sustained while in the military. After completing the treatment plan Chris put together I have spent the last two months pain free and doing things with my body I honestly thought I would never do again. I am so grateful that Chris approached me at the gym when he saw that I was in obvious pain and offered a solution. Fantastic experience: This place is the BEST in Lafayette. You won’t find better professionals in the PT world. I workout a lot and put my body through stress every day.. and when I start to have any pain or issues this is always the first place I come to. Dr. Jay has so much knowledge and charm and I recommend him to anyone having pain. My PT tech, Emily, that has been helping me has been out of this world. She was extremely attentive and helped me through the mobility and exercises and made sure to make me feel comfortable. She even went out of her way and gave me tips for things to do at home. She even cracked some jokes and was a little funny! They spend the extra time on you and actually work to get you better and moving on. Once you’re done they’re happy to see you leave. Every time I leave this place, I’m extremely satisfied with the quality of work they do. This is my second time treating an athletic injury and so far I’ve seen only the best results!!

After many years of suffering with debilitating migraines, that no other doctor or prescription could get under control, Chris was able to give me my quality of life back. He was able to figure out the root cause of my migraines and correct the problem when others just wanted to give medication to cover the pain. I have recommended Chris to many friends and family members. Chris recently treated my 13 year old son for pain in his foot. We already had surgery scheduled with an orthopedic surgeon when we decided to see if Chris could help him. Chris was able to get my son back to normal with no foot pain after just a handful of visits. And no surgery! I really just cannot say enough good things about Chris and all of the team at Acadiana Pain and Performance. They truly make you feel like you are part of a family there and they sincerely care about your health and well-being.

She really takes her time to listen and address all issues and explain the big picture of how physical therapy works. I had been in lots of pain for several months with lower back issues and within a few sessions of adjustments and dry needling, finally felt relief. I had pain for years after a back fusion and after many failed injections, chiropractic visits, and failed therapy at another facility I was losing hope that I would have to live with pain. After my first visit I saw progress and now I’ve been living pain free.
