MTS Therapy and Wellness

Fantastic experience: I have benefited greatly since having total hip replacement by coming to the MTS location on Dulles. Everyone has been kind, courteous and knowledgeable about the therapy I am having. They have answered my questions and advised me as to what exercises I can do at home to help with my overall recovery.

Fantastic experience: Well I have been struggling with my mobility lately and had been doubtful of my own progress. Yesterday while doing pool therapy I took that chance in the deep water for deep water walking with a pool noodle. I am 5'3 so once my feet lifted the pressure came off of my joints and I was in utter bliss. The best feeling in the world and was able to move around that pool with enjoyment. I prayed for a painless session and God came through. The staff here are persistent but caring. Sometimes you just have to trust the process and flow with the waves. Never give up on yourself and let the hands of God help you. There here at MTS his angels will aid you to your goals. The Therapist here are awesome.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at the Dulles location was very nice, asked about my physical limitations, and involved me in the decisions about my care plan. The facilities are nice, everything was clean, and they were interested in patient feedback. They have officially "graduated" me from PT but are willing to allow me to schedule future visits if my need to do so returns. Thank you Kaliee Lyons! My experience with MTS was positive and I plan to go back as needed.

Negative experience: Patient previously. Was always very happy with promptness and excellent care I received. Called yesterday for appt with physician referral for back pain. Was told I would receive call that afternoon to schedule. Call never received. I called this morning, put on hold and hung up on. Called back and was told I would receive call right after noon. Never got call. I called after 3pm. Was told I could get an appointment in 3 weeks from now. Very disappointed and would no longer recommend. Should not have to suffer with back pain for 3 weeks waiting, especially since I am a return customer!!

Fantastic experience: The Maurice location is awesome. Ms. Chloe Cordell and the rest of the staff do their best to make you feel better.

Negative experience: From day one I had a bad experience with staff. The therapist I worked with was the only reason I stayed. But that happened to be his last day. I really really like Roxanne, she is professional and really works to get you well. The other staff besides a couple of techs were good but the rest are terrible. I refuse to pay for terrible seevice and unprofessionalism.

Fantastic experience: As a former personal trainer who had been a physical therapist assistant, I was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis in 2016. Although I was able to manage my condition with a progressive strengthening and conditioning Physical Therapy routine for over six years, my symptoms worsened resulting in having Spinal Fusion surgery in 2022. After regaining some of my strength and flexibility resulting from surgery, I began seeing Joe Marino, DPT at MTS Physical Therapy in Youngsville, LA in August of 2023. With regular visits, my range of motion has significantly increased and my lower back and neck pain has disappeared. The customized exercise program I have received and been following for the past few months has helped me regain much of the strength and flexibility I lost since surgery. I am grateful for the treatment and support I have received from Mr. Marino and his colleagues, and highly recommend him to anyone seeking to overcome any limitations due to having surgery or regain optimal health.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and very good at what they do.

Negative experience: I was scheduled to go for the first time today. I show up and am told my appointment is tomorrow. I repeated the day and time back to the person scheduling me a couple of weeks ago. I even advised my boss I would be a little late coming into work today. Needless to say I don't have a good first impression of this place, nor will go back. I do not recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff and therapists that most definitely care about your recovery and are personable. I am so happy to be in their hands, 6 months strong

Negative experience: Very immature and uninstructed staff wondering around. My first meeting was with a fairly new therapist whom was inexperienced in what I needed which was okay so they go a more “seasoned” person. This was very obvious but no one chose to verbally say so. So I was informed I was gonna be with the more seasoned therapist from now on but they were in another location over 35 minutes away and they were only helping out in Lafayette! If I wanted to drive to another location I would have chose that option initially, I explained I had too much many other medical appointments out of the city that required more driving and I would not add on more. There were micro aggression laced verbiage throughout these communications. Oh and they charge you out of pocket for dry needling and other providers utilize your health insurance coverage.

Fantastic experience: This is my second experience with MTS therapy. I love the service they provide! Everyone is very friendly and eager to help.

Negative experience: My mom is a veteran and was referred there by the VA she was not treated well they were very short with her and discharged her bc of complaints they said she had. We felt very racist undertones there as well if u have options go else where. Terrible

Fantastic experience: Best of the Best Therapy Centers, everyone very knowledgeable,helpful,careing and the whole group works together as a Team to provide the Best service for the Patients wellness!

Fantastic experience: MTS is a positive and supportive environment. Kudos for the wellness program which is helping me improve my stamina, fitness, and is engaging and fun. Also doing PT to improve my balance and strength after having several minor falls. I'm encouraged and relieved for this support, and even after just one week I am already seeing improvements!! I highly recommend MTS. The staff is friendly and helpful and I feel safe and supported while exercising there!

Negative experience: I had to reschedule several times due to unexpected medical issues with a grandson. They were very nice until the last person who was completely un professional. She told me to get another referral from my doctor. My doctor called them and then called me because she was unprofessional to them. The doctors office ask if I wanted to go elsewhere. Not customer friendly.

Fantastic experience: I go for dry needling pt exercises, and massage. It's tough, and drains me, but I am improving through the PT program.

Fantastic experience: I had a foot injury from landing a jump wrong at dance, and ended up going through several months of physical therapy here. It was an amazing place with a great environment, where I knew that everyone was wanting me to get better. I left with a great experience and a much improved ankle and I would recommend it to everyone!
