Fantastic experience: I have had uncomfortable moments in other local physical therapy offices. The second I stepped in the door at Young Physical Therapy I knew I had found the right place. Office is clean, tidy and very welcoming. Front office staff is so friendly and considerate of your needs. The therapists and attendants that I have had the pleasure of working with, are so compassionate. The sessions were the right length, just enough to tire me out but still felt good of what I accomplished. Shout out to Adriana for always caring and pushing me. I totally recommend this facility over all others in the AV. And they play awesome music!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Young, Dr. June, and the YPT staff are efficient and effective, but most importantly, they are a professional, well-trained group whose leader is a definitive model for caring, patient-focused behavior and attitude. Details: minimal wait times, accommodation of difficult patient schedules, compassionate and friendly staff, intelligent and well-paced post-op exercise regimen, welcoming atmosphere, and clean, well-maintained environment. The bottom line: I’ve been to many physical therapists and clinics in Colorado, Texas, California, and Massachusetts for post-surgery therapy and general neuromuscular ailments. Young Physical Therapy, Inc. has exceeded my expectations. I strongly recommend Dr. Young and his staff.

Fantastic experience: I came to Young Therapy thinking there was nothing that could be done for the pain in my arm. To my surprise in one visit my pain was gone and I was able to use my arm without pain. I have more sessions to go to but I am amazed how going from a painful useless arm to o an arm I can use again!! I am forever grateful and I highly recommend Young Therapy. They are a gift from God in healing. Miracles do happen and Young Therapy made me a believer. Give them a try and just wait till you see.

Negative experience: I gave it 2 stars when I wanted to give it 1. I’m not gonna bash them for how they preformed their service. I have zero complaints there and honestly I enjoyed going there. They also seemed veteran friendly. I can see the last review is another veteran that had an issue with them but , The reason that they’re getting 2 is because there was an issues beyond my control that I had to miss. Some of them are because of sickness and I get that I had to pay! I was told that I can pay on my next appointment, which I was happily going to do. But was woken up in the morning and strong armed to pay in a rude way or I would not be seen this was before my appointment and I was treated as I was some untrustworthy person and when I asked if I could pay tommrow they said no pay now or we won’t see you! So it’s sad they lost a client for 40$ today when they could of hd 40 tommrow and more visits and more money when you tell some one one rule then change and treat them like there some criminal not a good look. *Note* it was three star but I just read another veteran was treated bad so now it’s two stars!!!

I would not have been able to enjoy 100% recovery post surgery without their help. The personnel was extremely encouraging and insightful as well as friendly. Fantastic experience: Hi Everyone! I wanted to share my wonderful experience at Young Physical Therapy! I was referred to them by my very excellent orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Anand Shah who successfully operated on my hands and shoulder. I had a shoulder impingement and small rotator cuff tear. I was healing very nicely but had a nagging ache from my shoulder down to my elbow and felt a pinch in the area of my shoulder blade. The therapist I met listened to me very carefully and asked what I could and couldn't do. We even walked out to my car so I could show him that when I reached back to pull my seat belt, that was a challenge. I think it helped him narrow down what muscle or tendon to treat since I couldn't really think of the specific daily movements that caused my pain. Anyway, in the sessions to follow, I went through hands on massage & some exercises. The place was busy but somehow ran on time and I never felt like they had to hurry so they could work on someone else. There really is no substitute for human hands massaging and feeling the knots and kinks in the human body. They know what they're doing and are very dedicated and organized! I got the feeling of being taken care of at a five star hotel! I would definitely recommend this place!

Negative experience: Very disappointed. I was referred here but my doc. Went to the first appointment and they were lovely. I had to cancel due to us only having one car and my husband being in the military so his schedule changes at the drop of a hat. They discharged me without telling me. So I go back on the schedule after paying the cancellation fee. I had to make a cancel again and asked her if they would be removing my appointments due to that and she said no they have 3 upcoming ones for me… Called today to confirm and poof they discharged me again without notice. Had I not called I would of showed up to no appointment. Very disappointed especially as they don’t have flexibility when it comes to people’s schedules. I’m happy to pay the cancellation fee but to just keep discharging without notice is really not cool.

Negative experience: After two months of Therapy, I was advised and received a bill by mail that my insurance (TriCare) also charges a deductible as well as co pay. I was doing the co pays per visit. This amount was fairly substantial and unexpected. Why wait so long to bring this up? No good.

Positive experience: It was hard to give a rating, I would give five stars to Dr Young and zero stars to Adriana. I've been going to Young physical therapy for almost a month. In conjunction, I have also been doing also physical therapy through Hinge Health. It's through my insurance. You're basically sent a tablet with bands that have sensors and you do exercises through the tablet and also check in with a health coach and occasionally a physical therapist. Overall, I was improving by doing both programs. I went to see Dr Young on a Friday and I did a new exercise. I was fine doing the exercise there but shortly after coming home my ankle started to feel off. It progressed throughout the evening and then at 10:00 p.m. I took a few steps and had a sharp pain in my ankle. I looked and realized my ankle had a swollen in a small area. Over the weekend I got crutches, wasn't on my feet, wrapped it, iced it, etc. I went to urgent Care as a precaution. They took an x-ray and said it wasn't broken. The doctor there was extremely unhelpful. He was trying to get out the door and I had to keep asking questions about how to proceed for my healing, and didn't really get any answers. I already had an appointment made for the following Monday with Young physical therapy. I thought, what luck, they can help me with telling me exactly what I need to do, when to walk on it, maybe some exercises to do, etc. I show up to my appointment and I was scheduled to be with Adriana who I had only been with one time before. I explain my situation to the girl behind the counter, she tells Dr. Young and Adriana what's going on. There's a bit of back and forth. She asked if I wanted to get a massage on my ankle and I said no because it's injured, I just need some guidance. Adriana comes out and basically says if you don't want me to touch it, there's nothing I can do. We are not doctors, go see your primary care physician. I was shocked! I told her I just needed some guidance from a professional about what I should do because I've never hurt my ankle before. And she just repeated to go see a primary care physician and basically said she wouldn't help me. I left extremely frustrated and confused. I then had second thoughts, maybe just maybe, I shouldn't have expected them to help??? The next day I had an online appointment with the Hinge Health physical therapist and she was shocked and angry at the care I had received from Adriana. She said they absolutely should have sat down with me and explained and helped me with knowing what I should do moving forward. She was very helpful and I'm thankful for her help. I then called Young physical therapy because I still have one more appointment allotted from the approved visits. I ended up speaking with Dr Young and he was trying to be helpful and kind of explain Adriana's poor behavior. Overall, I was just so shocked. She spoke to me in a condescending tone with zero kindness or understanding. It just seems weird that if I got injured doing physical therapy while I was there and then come back to get additional help and was then refused that. It doesn't make any sense. Adriana showed no compassion or kindness or understanding and basically said if you don't want me to touch you, I won't help you. I will not see her again, she has showed what kind of therapist she is. We'll see how things go moving forward with Dr. Young.

Negative experience: I don’t know how this place has such good reviews. I was referred here by my primary doctor after my horse fell on me and I ended up having an injured back. Dr. Young repeatedly told me my pain was “in my head” and that I just needed to stop thinking about it for it to go away. He would also grab my back muscles making a fist with my back skin in his hand, his nails would dig into my skin and I would tell him it caused more pain and made me uncomfortable. He continued to do this ‘therapy’ technique. After 3 or 4 visits I asked my primary doctor to send me to a different physical therapist. I ended up going to South Pacific and my experience there was significantly better. I have since gone to a spine specialist and it turns out my facet joint is completely broken in half and the pain is not in fact “in my head”.

Positive experience: I liked it. But didn't care for my therapist. She had no patience and even raised her voice at me. I quit half way through. Very painful and expensive as well. I do the exercises at home

Fantastic experience: I have experienced 4 rounds of PT over the course of 3 years at Young’s for different physical issues. Each time I had great results. Great staff (Young, June & Adrian are really knowledgeable) and facilities are very clean and pleasant. When I hit plateaus in my therapy, the staff introduced me to different therapy methods and in no time, I was rapidly progressing again reducing my pain or discomfort (love the message which is routine for the injury site; not something I experienced elsewhere....June is the best!). All staff are very helpful, personable and encouraging, and work to inform you of what to do and how to continue to achieve results at home. I’ve recommended family members and friends who have also had very good results. Very convenient to be able to purchase certain items from them to replicate my exercises at home as well.

Fantastic experience: I was suffering with a severe case of sciatica (left leg piriformis syndrome) aggravated by sitting; including whole leg numbness, tingling and burning nerve pain. Within one month of following the prescribed, demonstrated and proven deep tissue message, targeted stretch and strength training treatment techniques, I am no longer in pain. I also followed the directions to "mix it up" by not remaining stationary at my work desk by standing, leaning, sitting and periodically adjusting my body position every 20 minutes. I am now good-to-go thanks to Young PT!
