Progressive Physical Therapy - Valencia

Fantastic experience: Just finished at Progressive PT and it went great. The staff are all amazing people and were very helpful with any problems I was having. I was able to get back to work ahead of the scheduled time, so I'm very thankful for that. Highly recommend coming here.

Fantastic experience: I went to Progressive PT for several months after total hip replacement surgery and couldn't have been happier with my PT, Jean and the other PTs and staff. They always encouraged me to try a little more than I thought I could do, and it paid off. I recommend them highly. (P.S. I live closer to the Granada Hills office, but Santa Clarita is less crowded, so - no offense to the GH office - it's worth the drive )

Fantastic experience: I just finished PT at Progressive for tendinitis in my rotator cuff. The staff is amazing from top to bottom - I worked primarily with Jean and everybody was so helpful and friendly in assisting in my therapy and recovery. I strongly recommend them to anybody needing excellent and caring physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I went to Progressive for 7 months of ACL reconstruction physical therapy. My knee has healed ahead of schedule thanks to the profound staff. Jean was my amazing physical therapist and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She knew how to remain positive and pushed me when I needed it. The rest of the employees there were extremely helpful as well. They made my recovery process fun which allowed me to look forward to each appointment. I feel sad to leave as I created a unique relationship with this group of professional individuals. I highly recommend this location if you want to receive top tier physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I came in experiencing great shoulder/neck pain and with the wonderful assistance of the entire staff I was able to be pain free and they even suggested movements that could easily be done at home. They atmosphere is very cordial and all the therapists out the needs of the clients first.

Fantastic experience: As a result of a bicycle accident I broke my collarbone and had severe back pain. After weeks in a sling I lost all strength and range of motion. Once my collarbone had mended enough the doctor had me go to PT and I chose Progressive in SR. Cody and the group at Progressive really put me back together. They really know what they’re doing. They started slow so as not to cause any pain and progressively increased the difficulty to improve muscle strength and range of motion. They did a great job and now I’m back on the bike, good as new. Thank you Cody and team.

Fantastic experience: THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST! I was in a bad car accident and had to have a invasive surgery in my shoulder and did not think I'd be able to workout again, into coming here. I was helped by Patrick and would recommend him to EVERYONE! He showed me a bunch of mobility exercises and I've been working on them for months. Thanks to progressive PT and Patrick's help, I hit 225 on bench yesterday

Fantastic experience: Progressive Physical Therapy Stevenson Ranch has helped me heal from my shoulder surgery & knee pain over the last seven months and it truly couldn’t have been more of a great experience. I adored walking in every session to a warm greeting from Kim the receptionist. I loved working with Cody my primary PT. Cody was always there to support me through my progression & always made me feel comfortable. I also enjoyed working with Hannah & Jean as well. They have great assistant supervisors named Patrick and Farrah that assisted with exercises, ice, and warm up. I really enjoyed my recovery at this place and would recommend this place over any other place in SCV & I’ve been to a LOT.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at the Santa Clarita location from the vibrant and diligent receptionist Kim, the great energy and perspective from the PTA Hannah Haworth and the energetic and enthusiastic aide Patrick Palominos, and the very wise and practiced DPT'S Cody Daniel, Cristian Dignos, Jean Cabrera, I have been seeing these individuals for over a year, and have had miraculous results in the recovery of a pretty severe back condition, I've suffered a fracture at L2 and a disc herniation at L5/S1 and my life was a world of hurt, but each one of their staff have spent time and energy investing a wealth of knowledge to reinforce new body mechanics to help alleivate most of pain and mobility issues. I could not be happier with the continued results that I am still receiving to this day. This location is a gem and a lifesaver. You must try if you're seeking good conservative care, especially if you're avoiding surgery. 10/10

Fantastic experience: The best Physical Therapy in Santa Clarita. I've been going to Progressive now for 7 years. I've had multiple knee surgeries and Tina and Shelly have been fantastic to get me back up and running. I'm always treated with respect, they listen to my issues and just the general care I receive when I'm there. The front desk and the rest of the crew are wonderful. Thanks again to all of you!

The ladies Sarah & Hanab in the front are kind, sweet & friendly and always in a good mood. I have learned a lot & progressed where every other PT place I have been to in the past decade and always had major set backs because they didn’t care. I almost gave up on PT but then I found this place and have never been happier. I have seen results instead of set backs. Christian is who helped my recover from Rotator cuff surgery & I saw Andrei twice. They are both great PT & would definitely recommend both. They are all very knowledgeable & so are the aids. Fantastic experience: I did something to my knee, and my insurance said I had to try physical therapy. I did research for Places in Santa Clarita that took my insurance and chose Progressive and I am glad that I did. Getting an appointment was easy, kim at the front desk is very helpful, no a month of waiting to be seen and the paperwork was easy to fill out. The facility is clean and everyone I've met has been so kind. Huge thanks to my physical therapists Cody and Noelle, my knee feels much better. At my first appointment Cody spent an hour with me assessing my issue and asking questions, he was very reassuring and made me feel much better about my situation since my doctors were not helpful. Noelle and Cody are both very patient explaining and showing exactly how to do the exercises to my awkward clumsy self! They are both very kind and encouraging and gentle in promoting corrections. I am so grateful for this place. The location itself is very bright and clean with lots of equipment . I don't have a lot of experience with physical therapy places but I feel this place is taking better care of me than the last time I did physical therapy a few years ago- my last physical therapy experience elsewhere consisted of mostly ice, heat and tens machines and not a lot of exercises. I feel my recovery is progressing along quicker this time thanks to Progressive and their excellent staff

Fantastic experience: I loved my experience at Progressive. Dr. Shelly and her team (Julie, Kim and Samantha) were extremely nice. I went in for shoulder pain, and Dr. Shelly showed me where my shoulder was having issues. Educated me on how the shoulder works, where and what the muscles do and what we needed to work on. Now, three weeks of physical therapy and my shoulder feels so much better, I would say better than before. Fantastic experience: When I first arrived at Progressive PT I could barely walk. Shelly was so kind and immediately loaned me a walker until I could get my own. I had been being treated by doctors prior to my visit and was in excruciating pain. The walker helped take the pressure off my hip and hamstring injury within the first day. Shelly, Justin and Julia worked closely with me for the next 2 1/2 months to create a thorough exercise program for my particular needs and challenged me. The first several weeks, my mobility was very limited and pain was high but with each PT session, I improved. With time, I greatly improved and I am pleased to say I have now completed my PT. All of the staff was always so helpful, patient and kind to me. I can't express enough how grateful I am to Shelly and her team for their magic in helping me heal. If I ever have to go to PT again, this is the place I will go to. Shelly really listens to her clients and works with them individually. She truly is a fabulous physical therapist and very, very experienced. Kim in the front office was always so kind and welcoming too. Fantastic experience: Samantha, my physical therapist, helped me with my foot. I needed rehab after surgery due to some issue of mobility. She gave me some exercises to do at home in addition to therapy. My foot is much better now. She was fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Looking for a PT facility to deal with tennis elbow, I read the positive reviews for Progressive Physical Therapy here in Valencia and figured it was too good to be true. As usual, I was wrong. Shelly and team are amazing and they provided a thorough plan for treating my injury - from stretches to exercises to body posture to direct therapy. When you go through PT you spend significant time with your therapist. It was always nice spending time with them - just great people who care. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Progressive Physical Therapy in Valencia for about three months. I have Parkinson's disease and have been declining as of late. When I arrived for my first appointment, I did so by using a walker. My therapist, Evan was determined to build my strength to a level that would allow me to park my walker and trade it for a cane. Over time I was able not only to park my walker, but to also learn to trade my cane for walking unaided...a feat I never expected to do again. The staff at Progressive are all wonderful, kind, and caring people. From Kim in the office, to Shelly the Office Manager, and especially Evan, my therapist, I couldn't ask for a more polite, knowledgeable, and professional group of people. I look forward to my sessions each week and am very pleased with my continued progress. I have rated them 5 Stars, but they deserve many, many more!

Fantastic experience: I’m here for my neck, pain in shoulder and arm/hand numbness. Samantha and team have been strengthening muscles (about a month now)I’ve never used before and am feeling better. I recently took a fall, HOWEVER, with the strengthening they are teaching me I landed upright, people said I looked like spider woman using all my extremities to avoid the ground...I believe had I not been trained on using these muscles I would have landed on the floor like a pancake!!! I went in assuming I would eventually need orthopedic surgery but they were able to relieve the pain and strengthen me so that surgery was not required. Best PT staff I’ve ever seen!

Fantastic experience: Progressive Physical Therapy in Valencia is fantastic. The first time I needed PT my doctor sent me here. Since then when I needed PT after knee surgery it was my choice to come here. Now I'm coming here again to help me recover from a broken clavicle. The staff is great and I am grateful for how they have helped me. Besides helping me physically, they are positive and fun people. Shelley has the best laugh and I always leave there uplifted. From the therapists to assistants to the front desk staff, I highly recommend Progressive PT. I ended up needing surgery on my shoulder and it was Progressive Physical Therapy that I went to to help me recover. Again I have nothing but positive things to say about these people. I hope to stay uninjured, but if something happens I know where to go to find the best help.

Fantastic experience: I’m a former division one athlete and struggled with back pain for over a year and a half. I’d seen some of the best doctors who couldn’t figure out what was wrong and physical therapy elsewhere didn’t help in the slightest. During my first consult with Progressive, Shelly was able to quickly figure out where my pain was stemming from. The staff really took their time to ensure I was doing my exercises safely and efficiently. I’m now back to working out and feeling like an athlete again! Fantastic experience: Over the years I've been to several Physical Therapist offices, some good and some not so good. Progressive Physical Therapy in Valencia falls into its own special category of excellent! From the moment I walked in I felt like I was part of a family, I knew that I'd be receiving specialized care. Shelly met with me my first day and gave me a thorough examination. She listened and cared about what was bothering me. The following visits both she and Bridgette made sure that I was technically correct while I worked on my exercise program. Shelly has eyes in the back of her head, if you're not doing the exercise correctly, she'll come right over and make sure that you feel and understand what muscles you need to be working. I looked forward to each and every visit, it felt more like a personal training session, a session working with a friend. Shelly is warm and engaging. I don't want to hurt myself again, but I will absolutely return to Shelley at Progressive PT, should the need arise. Thanks Shelly!! You're the best and I will miss seeing you.

Fantastic experience: I tore the labrum in my shoulder playing football this past year. Before having surgery, I came to Progressive to help with the pain and strengthen my shoulder. They really helped me out a lot and taught me things that I could continue to do during season. After finishing the season, I had surgery and wanted to go back to Progressive for my PT. Now that I am finished with all my sessions, I have very minimal pain and my shoulder feels stronger. Shelly was the best for PT. She would always be very cautious with what we did, but at the same time always looking for new ways to push me too. She was very funny and fun to work with. The staff was also very nice and helpful. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone that is looking for a great physical therapist.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Progressive for about 9 months on and off. Originally after my surgery I asked Shelley to help me achieve a goul I had, to be able to hike mountain trails within 6 weeks and she got me there with flying colors. They worked with me to build up my strength and to walk normally again prior to the surgery in April and in the 6 mos that followed the ACL reconstruction. My PT was 3x a week post surgery and the doctor was really impressed with the pace of my progress in a short period of time. The team, led by Shelly was great at pushing me to progress during the sessions and outlining exercises to maintain the progress at home. Ariel, Andrew and Deanna were also great.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Progressive by my Orthopedic Surgeon. My daughter had been to Progressive and said to ask for an appointment with Shelly since she had helped her recover from a broken ankle. I met with Shelly and was impressed with her easy going, but professional manner during my initial review. She developed an exercise program and also made good suggestions regarding how I could make changes in my daily routine to improve and not add to my back problems. I went to Progressive twice a week and did my exercises on their well maintained equipment under the supervision of Shelly and Auriel, both of which are kind, patient and very helpful. They had me progress as I was able and my condition improved. Friends and family noticed that I looked like I was doing better as well. Once I was doing well they suggested that I could continue on my own, rather than sign me up for more sessions. I would recommend Progressive highly for anyone needing physical therapy. Overall I had a great experience at Progressive with Shelly and Auriel.

Fantastic experience: I have suffered from herniated disc and a broken hip, so I have been to over 10 physical therapy companies. Progressive physcial therapy is on the top on the 10 I've been treated at, I give them 5 stars. The location is prime, the staff is warm and the candy bowl at the first desk is a sweet touch. I have a issue with places that are to packed with people and not enough staff to watch the client correctly. This company clear cares are the client and not the insurance check.

Fantastic experience: We are so lucky to have found Shelly at Progressive Physical Therapy in Valencia. My mom had total knee replacement surgery on the left 2 years ago and then had the right one done this past July. Both times we've gone to Shelly and she's been amazing. You can tell she genuinely cares for her patients. She's so knowledgeable and always has a great attitude. The facility is always very clean and the staff are all very nice and friendly. I started with severe low back & hamstring pain so bad that I could hardly walk. I was so miserable. 8 weeks later I can walk 2 miles with very little low back pain & no pain in hamstrings!!! I feel like a new woman!! I'm not just making this up to write a public review to make them look good. It's the truth & I'm soooo grateful!!! Thank you Progressive PT!!! My only regret is that the VA didnt send me to you sooner.

Fantastic experience: I came to Progressive Physical Therapy for back and leg pain resulting from a bulged disc. The PT came up with a very comprehensive, yet doable program that has helped relieve a lot of my back and leg pain. All the physical therapists and assistant I have worked with have been professional, kind, and good at their jobs. My exercises have evolved over my time here, and I feel much stronger in my back. If I am having an “off” day, the staff comes up with accommodations to keep me moving

Fantastic experience: I love going to progressive!! When I show up for my appointment, I am always seen on and never have to wait. The therapist are all very friendly and make sure I'm getting the most out of my session with them. They are constantly coming up with different and interesting exercise to get my knee back into shape.
