Fantastic experience: Plymouth PT should get 10 stars! Both my wife and I received excellent, personalized care. Our initial evaluations by Gagan were thorough, so our exercise programs were tailored to our particular body structures, muscle weaknesses, and balance deficits. My wife was recovering from a ruptured disc. After the hospital, she needed to heal and strengthen, so she could golf again. Aaron is a golfer, and he carefully chose exercises for her limited flex and extension. He assessed her status at every session and modified exercises when too challenging and when she improved. She is doing well. I had stamina and balance problems, and Aaron and Bree watched me carefully while teaching me my exercises. I am feeling more stable and have more endurance. Finally, the atmosphere at Plymouth PT is so warm and friendly, we both looked forward to our sessions. And, the heat packs and muscle massage treatments were a wonderfully relaxing conclusion to our workouts! Plymouth PT is the BEST of the best. Rudy and Linda

The physical therapist aides and techs were always supportive and made each session run smoothly. I worked with Bree most often, and she was amazing! Negative experience: Very unprofessional. When I asked for clarification surrounding doctors notes in writing the owner refused and left my daughter without proper help even though her appointments are medically necessary and left the notes ambiguous. I will be following through with a complaint through licensing as well as the ADA. They left my daughter in pain and do not care. Id never recommend anyone to go here as their communication is unprofessional and unhelpful.

Positive experience: The DPTs are really good but the exercise routines have a lot of "junk volume." Too many sets and too low of resistance. Like I can squat 150 and they are having me do 3 sets of 20 body weight squats for some reason. My sessions took like 1.5 hours each and i cant sacrifice that much time when I go.

Fantastic experience: I was training for a race and injured my foot. Thanks to Gagan, I was back to normal functioning and able to return to training in just a few weeks. She worked with me personally the entire time and I really felt like she was invested in my recovery and training. Gagan is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly how to fix my problem. She has lots of experience with runners and sports related injuries. And the hours are very accommodating of busy schedules! Fantastic experience: This team was excellent. When I started my treatment for a really bad ankle sprain I could hardly walk. I had pain at rest, swelling, couldn't play with the kids, or really do anything active. By the end my treatment, I am fully back to my normal life. The team was great at knowing when to push or pull back, and always kept the exercises interesting. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The staff was absolutely incredible! Came in with a herniated disc issue. They created a full program that slowly incorporated more movements. Aaron was incredibly attentive and took the time to explain everything in detail. That in itself is comforting. I am 70% better than when I came in and have the tools to get back to 100%.

Fantastic experience: I’m a 64 yr old female, I had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder. I received treatment. I felt encouraged and I was given kind correction when performing my exercises. What was valuable was I was listened to, the staff was attentive and checked in throughout my visit. When I was having pain or trouble sleeping the staff brainstormed with me for solutions. Laser Treatment is offered for an additional fee. The treatment helped with pain and healing. I found it to be a great addition and worth the cost. The entire staff was kind, friendly, professional, fun and thoughtful. Dr. Cheema and Aaron Sisty were my primary therapists and recommended them and the location.

Fantastic experience: Breanna, Emma, Holly, and Emily make physical therapy fun and rewarding. With their support, I've been able to regain strength I never thought I'd have again. It's been a tough injury to recover from, but I'm so thankful for this location and staff. 10/10 do recommend

My workout was carefully monitored, and I received specific instructions for at home practice. I have even more range of motion than I did before the injury.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Ann Arbor location by Dr. Siddhika Kore (Canton location) and I chose to continue my therapy here as it is closer to my home. I saw Dr. Gagan Cheema for my preliminary evaluation where she recommended a 4 week plan for my back injury. I was able to work with Brie, Emma, and Aaron during these 4 weeks. Everyone I worked with was cheerful, helpful, and most importantly, aware of my issues to better help me recover. They are open until 7 pm on Weekdays which worked out really well with my schedule. A big thank you to all team members at Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists, Ann Arbor. I plan on continuing my recovery with Ann Arbor team and join their Good Health 30 plan.

Fantastic experience: Emma Beaeke'brighton was my physical floor therapist! She's so nice! Totally sensenstive to my pelvic prolapse! She gave me amazing pelvic floor strengthening excerises to do! Each week she would add something new, let me tell you it was hard work and I felt week. She would gently push me each time I went in . After a couple months of seeing her and made so much progress i no longer need surgery to hold my pelvic floor up. She gave me the confidence and reassurance I needed. I now to PT at home and I know she's only a phone call away if I need her. Thank you Emma!!!

Fantastic experience: After breaking my foot, I was hesitant about how effective physical therapy would be, but the experience with Aaron Dave and Gagan at Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists turned out to be incredible. From the first session, my physical therapist was knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging. They created a personalized recovery plan that gradually increased in intensity, starting with simple range-of-motion exercises and progressing to strength-building and balance work. The facility was clean and well-equipped, and the staff made me feel comfortable every step of the way. They explained each exercise thoroughly and always checked in on how I was feeling, adjusting the program as needed. One of the highlights was their focus on educating me about how to prevent future injuries by strengthening, which gave me confidence as I regained mobility. After weeks of dedication, I saw a significant improvement in both my strength and range of motion. Tasks that once seemed impossible, like walking without a limp or climbing stairs, became manageable again. I am now running on a treadmill and in better shape than I was before I injured my foot. Positive experience: Very nice folks! Unfortunately did not fix my hip problem. After going to many sessions, I noticed several people doing similar workouts (do we all have the same injury?) It did not feel very individualized. I was able to find the solution to my problem online. My PT dismissed the online solution but after implementing it, I am cured.

Fantastic experience: This team is great! Their tips have helped me to correct the damage I would otherwise be causing to my body with my bad posture habits from my desk job. They have also helped correct these bad habits. They have taught me how I can keep critical muscles strong and stretched even after PT. Thanks again for everything!

Fantastic experience: I used the location in Ann Arbor mainly. They were very attentive to my needs. I worked with Emma most of the times. She is very good. All of them are friendly and professional. They have other places in Detroit area and Jackson, and are flexible to let me use the Jackson place when I was there.

Fantastic experience: I was starting to give up. In February of 2024, I injured my foot with what I thought was plantar fasciitis. Months of podiatrists, chiropractors, youtube videos, expensive shoes and inserts, and I wasn't getting better. In fact, I was starting to show symptoms in my other foot. I was in pain every single day. In early September, I went into PPTS interested in laser therapy. At that time, I could barely walk around the block. (I'm an avid hiker so this injury had been particularly difficult.) In 5 minutes, Gagan determined that it wasn't PF at all, but referred pain from the spine and lower back. In 2/3 weeks I was walking a couple of miles around the neighborhood. In 5 weeks, I was back on the trails, and hiking in Acadia National Park. I am FOREVER grateful to Gagan, Aaron and the team. I still have to keep up with my exercises, and may for the long term, but I have my life back. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: The Physical Therapists are absolutely wonderful! I have been working closely with Aaron and Dave. They are both so professional yet bring their own unique style and personality to their work which creates a relaxed environment where I feel comfortable with trying new exercises. They push me in a motivational way to work hard and honestly seem to care about my progress. And I have had more progress in the last month and a half with PT than I have had in all of the 10 months since my surgery and illness. I am so thankful to the whole team at Plymouth PT on Washtenaw and Huron Pkwy. Every single person there has contributed to my health (physical and mental) improving and I am so grateful for my positive experience with Plymouth. On the days that I am not scheduled, I wish that I was because I enjoy it so much…Especially the positive impact it has had on my life. I would recommend this wonderful place to anyone in need of help overcoming an injury or in need of increased strength and flexibility due to aging, work related stress, or immobility issues.

Fantastic experience: A friend recommended PPTS, and I'm glad I took her advice. Gagan at the Ann Arbor PPTS location, took the time to understand my issues. When the standard treatment wasn't producing results, she pivoted and took a different approach which made a huge difference. I have tried other PT providers, and I feel they would have simply stayed the original course because that was the accepted treatment for my symptoms.

Fantastic experience: I've been here for three major issues over the past decade: 1. knee arthritis and gait issues 2. knee replacement therapy 3. lumbar stenosis, balance & gait issues and every issue rates a 5+ handling. How I found Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists (PPTS): A friend of mine raved about Dave Oliver at PPTS and highly recommended him. She could not have recommended anyone better. He is a Senior and International Faculty member for the McKenzie Institute and travels frequently throughout North and South America to teach the McKenzie methodology. He is a master at diagnosing problems and providing a practical, evidence-based course of treatment. Dave explained my treatment plan and thoughtfully answered all of my questions. My pain was quickly ameliorated with friendly, pain-free treatment together with a home-based plan to continue strengthening and maintaining my gains. A number of years later, when I needed post-knee-replacement therapy, there was no doubt in my mind of where to have it done. The PPTS facility is conveniently located, well equipped, clean and filled with friendly, welcoming & knowledgeable staff. They offer highly effective, personalized treatment in a friendly welcoming environment. The choice of background music is equally excellent and until recently was enhanced with the thump of practice golf balls flying overhead in a joyful competition among the staff. The facility usually has a number of college interns assisting and learning practical skills. I have found this very pleasant and have learned a bit by listening while Dave has instructed them. Now that I am back for a third session, I'm more convinced of my opinions. My current treatment has made a huge difference already: I've gone from being unable to walk more than across the room to walking 1/2 mi. All the staff have been remarkably friendly and helpful. My special thanks go to following people who have assisted me in my various times there: Sessions 1-3 Dave Oliver—who goes out of his way to stay in character by keeping up his charming British accent throughout the whole day Denise— the unflappable receptionist, who is always happy to assist one in making changes to their appointments Sessions 2-3 Gagan— Physical Therapist & Ann Arbor Center Director; extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to maintaining the patient-focused, highest standards of the Ann Arbor PPTS Session 3 Aaron—Physical Therapist; dedicated to getting me better while carefully listening to my current desites. Always positive and friendly—even on the day a new intern tied his golf score that it had taken him months to achieve. Levi & Tori— assistants/interns; carefully watching and always ready to assist patients; e.g. bringing water unbidden to me before I even asked. To summarize I highly recommend PPTS to anyone in need of PT, due to the highly knowledgeable, professional staff, the excellent diagnostic skills and the superb results. All delivered in a personalized, welcoming positive environment with a great sonic background. The only improvement I could suggest would be the return of the golf competition—which greatly enhanced the joie de vivre atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I attended a shoulder workshop after seeing announcement on FB. Great presentation that made sense. I went to 8 PT sessions which resulted in much improvement, some days without any pain and began doing things that I previously couldn’t do without pain, like opening a car door, using left arm to steer and many other things. Wonderful, friendly, professional, knowledgeable staff at the Ann Arbor location. A great service to so many people that need successful treatment. Positive experience: Update: The manager contacted me and spoke about the points mentioned in this review. They made an effort to empathize with my experience and offered to ensure I received adequate care in the future. Original: I can't say it felt like a worthwhile experience doing PT at this location. I didn't feel much improvement. I didn't feel that welcomed either. They didn't try to work around my schedule, just pushing me to come in three times a week. It made me feel like they just wanted whatever payment resulted from me attending.

Fantastic experience: When I first started seeing David, I was injured and could barely walk upstairs. Within a few weeks, I was back to running and able to climb the El Yunque rainforest in Puerto Rico. They really know what they are doing at Plymouth physical therapy!

The Pts were helpful in guiding me through exercises, strengthening routines, and were simply a sounding board for a newbie having a first time surgery. Fantastic experience: I came here because of ongoing balance issues after a serious bout of vertigo. One of my Aunts suggested that I look into Vestibular Therapy, Plymouth PTS came up immediately in my search results. They were able to get me in for a consultation and first treatment within a day, and my first round of VT helped measurably. Within 3 sessions I was back driving, and after 3 weeks of treatment I was back to my normal baseline. It was amazing! Gagan and her team were friendly and caring, while encouraging me to test my limits in a safe way. I will definitely come see them if I ever need Physical Therapy, and highly recommend them if you're experiencing challenges with your balance.

Fantastic experience: Gagan and her crew did a wonderful job getting my spent rotator cuff back into useable condition, avoiding a surgical solution. My injury and surrounding issues were expertly considered and an aggressive plan was implemented. I have now gone from difficulty in lifting my coffee cup back to aggressively mountain biking, throwing things and climbing trees. This was hard work, and not painless. If you are willing to commit Gagan will help you get the results you need.

Thanks to Gagan and her team of therapists my back has gotten better with almost no associated sciatic pain. The entire facility is clean and beams with positivity. The scheduling was a breeze too. At the end of my 12 sessions my symptoms has cleared !! Would recommend to everyone who are looking for a good PT.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! I was sent to them by my doctor for reoccurring back trouble. David was incredibly through in my initial examination and helped relieve my back pain after my first visit. He really listened to me and my situation and tailored treatment for my schedule and lifestyle. He gave me exercises to do at home that were easy and very helpful. When working with him, he used techniques that not only assisted with my back but helped increase my overall strength. When I had ankle surgery and needed PT again, I went back to Physical Therapy in Motion because I knew they would get me back to my normal level of activity in no time!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Physical Therapy in Motion and David Oliver. I had complications three years ago with my foot and he showed me how to do some exercises that really helped me. This time I was having issues with my neck and terrible headaches. Again, David came to my rescue and has helped me manage my pain. It feels so good to have control of my body without any pills or medications. David Oliver listens to me and I feel that he is very attentive, very educated in his field, thoughtful and responsive. He explains and uses words that I can understand as to what is causing my discomfort, pain and how I can fix this. The office is very friendly and clean. I would recommend anybody to Physical Therapy in Motion.

Fantastic experience: David Oliver is THE BEST Physical Therapist I have ever had for any of my injuries through out my lifetime. I am very active and there always seems to be some physical ailment I need to address. This time I asked for PT to keep up my shoulder strength and in the first visit David determined it was shoulder pain caused by a neck issue, which no one else diagnosed. His diagnosis was spot on and within a few visits, my pain was mostly gone and now I am working on building strength. A couple days ago was the first time in years I was completely pain free....no kidding!!! How liberating! I cannot thank David and his staff enough.

Fantastic experience: I have been to Physical Therapy In Motion / Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists twice in the last six or seven years for lower back therapy. The first time around, Dave was able to get me healthy and whole after four or five weeks of dedicated therapy. He is patient, wise, and extremely knowledgable about back pain and other issues. It is obvious that he cares about the people that seek his help, and for that I am grateful. When I came back to PTIM/PPTS this year after a relapse due to pandemic inaction, Dave remembered me and my case from years ago, and we got right to work again. This time he was joined by Gagan Cheema, and due to my schedule, I spent most of my sessions with her. Gagan is kind, highly-skilled, and is a great listener. As with Dave, she shows the utmost care and respect for her patients and their needs. Many times I would forget to ask about a certain concern or exercise clarification during my sessions, and Gagan was always happy to speak with me over the phone when I called anytime I had a question. I've been to two other physical therapists, and neither of them can do what Dave and Gagan do. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: David gave me a very comprehensive explanation of his process, which was new to me but I quickly realized it was exactly what I needed. I had some negative PT experiences before coming to Plymouth, and I feel that David’s choice of McKenzie Method was the most effective way to treat my pain. My cubital and carpal tunnel symptoms reduced drastically and I finally found hope for a strong recovery through my treatment with Dave. Plus, the staff was always very friendly and helpful! Fantastic experience: **Review update** June 2022 I have just "graduated" from PT for my knee. I had been having intermittent knee pain diagnosed as patella femoral pain syndrome. I worked with Dave and Jen. with their guidance I completed the series of strengthening exercises and this has eliminated the pain. Everyone here is so professional and listened to my concerns. They continuously evaluate how the treatment is working and change the plan as needed to achieve optimal results. bonus note - my shoulder pain from previous treatment is still gone. My son came here after foot surgery and I was so impressed with his treatment and therapy program that when I needed therapy for my shoulder I drove right over. Dave did a thorough assessment and evaluation of my shoulder and then we started. Over my time here I have increased range of motion, no more shoulder pain while sleeping and increased strength. Both Dave and Brian have answered my questions and helped me to learn more about the shoulder joint and what to do to continue to keep that joint moving well and the muscles around it strong now that my therapy sessions are completed. Fantastic experience: Ms Gagan is a brilliant PT! Her program cured my vertigo due to an inner ear issue last year, and this winter her techniques have resolved a problem with my clavicle. I would recommend her to anyone who has a physical problem they are motivated to resolve.

Fantastic experience: One of the best PT experiences I've had. The method used is different but truly works. Staff are great and the facility is small enough to enjoy small talk with other patients while working out. I will suggest this clinic to anyone that needs good PT. Fantastic experience: This was my first experience in physical therapy due to shoulder and neck pain. The physical therapists and staff were very welcoming, respectful, patient, and nice in all my sessions. After completing all the sessions I was recommended, I have no more neck or shoulder pain and feel much better!
