La vida es una aventura
I believe that the Eisenhower TBI program is the only one that effectively develops a rehab plan/services that incorporates successful behavior management strategies for the individual client.
I am extremely satisfied with Eisenhower Center. My program has changed my life for the better. I truly appreciate the unconditional love and dedication the staff shared.
Thank you so much to the staff at Eisenhower for taking such great care of my brother. He feels safe there and loves it, you're all doing an amazing job. Keep it up!
I absolutely love Eisenhower Center! They go above and beyond to make sure everything is done in a first-class manner and the staff really cares. I appreciate the honesty of the therapists and their insight.
I know that just because I attended this program, my injuries and problems are not going to just disappear. However, I now have the motivation, support, and tools to confront them. This will allow me to start living a healthier and happier life.
The staff at this facility are very caring and dedicated. They go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and they really seem to care about all of the clients here. This has given me a lot of hope.
Our comment from PhysioFinder.net about Eisenhower Center:
The Eisenhower Center is recognized for its commitment to providing supportive and thorough training for new hires, with a strong emphasis on quality care for both clients and staff. Many employees have praised the exceptional training provided by Rohman, noting that he offers clear and engaging instruction which helps newcomers feel prepared and confident as they begin their roles.
Some highlights from user experiences include:
- Informative and thorough training that builds confidence.
- A supportive work environment where team members help one another.
- Friendly residents and a great team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for clients.
- Innovative programs that strive to understand and cater to the specific needs of their residents.
However, it is important to note that not all experiences have been positive. Some users have expressed concerns about communication issues among staff, instances of unprofessional behavior, and a perceived lack of genuine care for clients. These points highlight areas for improvement that the company may need to address.
Overall, while Eisenhower Center exhibits many strengths in training and staff support, there are valid concerns from some users that suggest a need for improvement in management and client relations.
Eisenhower Center: Reviews
Negative experience: Not friendly
Negative experience: The medical team is so stupid there, don't recommend it
Fantastic experience: Matt Hescheles, is a very helpful in the classes he teaches
Fantastic experience: My trainer, Rohman, was the best! He was detailed, enthusiastic, and cared about the work. Rohman made sure everyone understood the policies and procedures.
Fantastic experience: Rohman trained my class and he throughly showed/explained to us everything we needed to know to prepare us for our 1st day .
Fantastic experience: Rohman WAS AMAZING!!! He truly cares about these residents in the way he trained us 10/10!!!
Fantastic experience: Rohmam was very informative and very professional I really learn alot and looking forward to become part of the team.
Fantastic experience: On board training was excellent. They taught us a lot Rhoman did a good job letting us know exactly how it was going to be on the floors... vicky was also excellent andrea also, did an excellent job in teaching us about meds....
Fantastic experience: Rohman, Matt and Andrea were excellent trainers.
Fantastic experience: I could tell Rohman took his job very seriously with informing us and making sure we actually know what he taught us. The videos were kinda long but they have proved themselves very useful. All of the clients are well taken care of and I can tell they’re loved by the staff.
Fantastic experience: Training was good, learned a lot thank you all for training me
Fantastic experience: Rohman was very informative and helpful throughout the process
Negative experience: Staff was unprofessional, lazy, rude and unattentive. I agree with the many other reviews this place should be shut down. It’s a shame. Notice 99% of the good reviews are from the staff themselves. What a joke.
Fantastic experience: Great training 10/10
Negative experience: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD HERE I’d give zero stars if I could. Staff are unprofessional treated my daughter absolutely disgusting. Had to spend the evening in the hospital (paramedics took us) for my 1yr old daughter and couldn’t even get an apology or anything this place should be shut down along with the staff. Never once received an ounce of sympathy or asked if my child was okay due to their lack of control, safety, authority, and professionalism. This incident could have been avoided if they did their jobs correctly. This could of also been sooo much worse if my daughters father was not with us as this facility failed to protect their patients An my daughter and failed to detain their patient or have any control of the situation. Just tried to justify what happened after as if my one yr old did anything wrong. Why not ask if she’s okay? At the very least. I WILL NOT STOP TILL LEGAL ACTION IS TAKEN as a lawyer is involved. This will not go away easy.
Negative experience: A resident of this center attacked my 1 year old daughter yesterday at an apple orchard. None of the staff were able to restrain the resident & clearly were not trained to handle the situation properly whatsoever. Nobody ever apologized or showed any sympathy towards us but were quick to show an attitude when police arrived. Will be taking legal actions.
Fantastic experience: New hire training was great really gave me what I needed to prepare for not only the job but personal life goals
Fantastic experience: Rohman trained us well, he gave us all the essentials that we needed to do the job.
Fantastic experience: i’m a new hire Rohman was a very great worker and i’m ready to get started
Fantastic experience: training was good it helped me learn about information that will help me when i start working
Fantastic experience: I'm a new hire here at the Eisenhower Center. The training was great videos were long but informative. The Training coordinator Rohman's training was very clear and straight forward. Thanks team! Ronika Favors
Fantastic experience: Eisenhower seems to be a great company but they most definitely have some great employers Rohmen the employee development coordinator is amazing he makes sure he does his job thoroughly and well he’s very passionate about what he does he’s great.
Fantastic experience: Training with Rohman was awesome!!
Fantastic experience: Great facility, everything is ran so well!
Fantastic experience: Roman, was a very good trainer. Thourouly explained what needed to be done
Fantastic experience: The most precessional training I have had from a company thus far. And rohman was pretty good with the training and he was cool
Fantastic experience: Rohman was an excellent trainer . .
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff I love it here!
Fantastic experience: Great place to work, excellent staff, friendly residents.
Fantastic experience: Very informative and thorough training, Rodman was a great trainer and explained everything step by step!
Positive experience: I just started but my training experience was wonderful and I feel like it’s going to be a great place to work
Fantastic experience: Going through trainings has been a smooth process, and the attention and care they show towards the residents makes this a great place to work at. Trainings lead by Rohman and John both were both informative and well taught.
Fantastic experience: The process of training lead by Rohman Bounds was informative, fun, and engaging. The attention and detail the staff puts into the residents here makes this a fun and great place to be apart of as staff.
Fantastic experience: I'm pleased to once again, to join the Eisenhower team! I feel confident this time with the in depth training I have received. Rohman was very informative and covered all grounds!!
Fantastic experience: I must say this was the best training process I have had here at Eisenhower Center.Rohman covered all grounds and answered any and all questions and concerns. I'm confident I'll succeed!!!
Fantastic experience: New hires are coming in prepared to start on the floor . Thanks to Rohman and Robin things are better explained , new hires are more aware of the job at hand and more educated .
Fantastic experience: I’m new to Eisenhower and I just got done with training with Rohman and I feel like it prepared me for everything i needed for when I got on the floor and i feel like it just made the process way easier.
Fantastic experience: Eisenhower Center has been an exceptional choice for my sister, who lives there and has special needs. Compared to other group homes we've tried, none have matched the level of support and care we've experienced here. They offer outstanding attention to their clients and genuinely make an effort to understand and cater to their needs.
Negative experience: I moved my special needs son in there thinking it would be a great experience for him after being told about all the so called supportive services & activities offered along with the staff assist he would receive with all of his ADLs...ALL a lie! He wasn't even given his meds properly. They do not pay attention to the clients, they lack in communication with not only family but each other, housekeeping was terrible, I was told they had meals together in the cafeteria which I don't think they had 1 there during his stay I would show up for a visit to find my son eating alone in his dark room. For being a former traumatic brain rehab you would think they could understand and help manage behaviors, which most cognitively delayed people have, especially autism. They are not ANYTHING they say they are. Nothing is followed through that they promise. They show no compassion and most of the staff they hire are mostly young people who sit on their phone all day and half of them don't last long. If you care about your loved one, STAY AWAY!!
Negative experience: Not getting into details, let's just say the State and the Governor has been contacted about this place. Only wish I could rate this place a 0
Negative experience: They moved people into the apartment complex I live in. Multiple fires to the point one building in the complex is condemned. The aides try to come into my apartment because they don't know where their clients are in my building. The staff doesn't care. I've been here over 10 years and now I don't even want to open my door or leave my apartment. I need to move.
Negative experience: was delivering food came in asked if “so and so” worked there, a heavy set black lady (wish i knew her name) said no, as someone else in the other room said “yes shes downstairs”. then the lady said i couldnt go down and would have to call her, so i called the customer and it brought me to the centers voicemail box 3 times, i told the lady i cant contact the customer, could you please let her know or take the food for her, the lady responded “no i cant, youll have to wait for her to meet you up here”.…how i have no way of getting to here because youre beinh a jerk. which definitely gives the idea that this place does the minimum required and doesnt put much care into their work. hope her co worker gpt her food, id quit right away if my co worker couldnt even accept my lunch for me but instead is an asshol e .
Fantastic experience: Eisenhower has a great team of people. Interacting with the residents is my favorite part of the job and I take pride in helping with enriching their lives.
Fantastic experience: I received Physical Therapy at Eisenhower Center following recent knee issues as an out-patient employee. The Physical Therapy department was very professional from my past experience with another PT company following my auto accident about 10 years ago. The therapist I worked with listened to my concerns and helped develop a plan with my input. I would HIGHLY recommend Physical Therapy from Eisenhower Center.
Negative experience: This place is trash and they treat you awful I don't recommend to no one to live or work here I believe this place should be shut down permanently by the state the food is awful
Negative experience: The staff there is a bunch of under 25 year old people with no credits or experience with the medical field, no certification or experience. They talk to clients who are bad and the staff are disrespectful. Management is also just bad. They take your cash, phone and everything. Holding it in the office and you are not allowed to have it. They keep disconnected from the world.
Fantastic experience: I love working here! Its flexible with scheduling & there is always fun activities to do with the residents here!
Fantastic experience: I've worked here about a month and a half or 2 months, and it's been a wonderful experience so far. All of the staff are so helpful. And the company itself is always more than willing to accommodate your needs. Everybody here, no matter what position of staff or resident are all treated fairly and equally. I recommend Eisenhower for your family.
Thanks Jasper for the kind review. We appreciate your feedback.
Negative experience: Very unprofessional! It’s funny these are the same people to make it seem like they are so professional until you work with them. They don’t care about the staff safety. They will have you working with clients that have Covid and will not give you the proper PPE. They have clients sitting in the commons area that have covid with other clients that have tested negative and except you still work around them. I wouldn’t recommend nobody to work or live here
! This claim about client safety, cleanliness, infection control, and overall care is disputed. This is in part of an attempt to stop the spread of misleading and possibly harmful content.
Negative experience: Just removed my son from this facility. He was a client for several years. The last two years have been terrible! The staff are very unprofessional. They do not communicate with each other, clients or guardians. They make promises and do not follow through. He was in an assisted living apartment. They hardly ever checked on him. They moved him to a different apartment complex in the middle of Covid to take in drug addicts. The new apartment was in a terrible complex and was trash. I would not put my dog in that apartment! Police were called there often, as it is one the cheapest apartment complexes in Ann Arbor. They quit transporting him to work because they didn’t have staff available. They rarely had bus tokens to give him and promised to get him a monthly bus pass but never did. The staff were rude when you would call. The management staff constantly lied. Do not even consider this place!
Fantastic experience: I have been working here for about 3 1/2 Months and I love working for Eisenhower Center. My co-workers are always willing to help. Everyone is pleasant and ready to care for the clients. The clients are well taken care of. The team work well together. I would recommend Eisenhower center for your family.
Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed being a client here because the staff were very helpful and there were other clients that were nice and staff. It was a place with great food , nice staff and helpful and the staff took us on outings. All the staff are very nice and helpful. I recommend people going here.
Thanks Madelon!
Fantastic experience: I have been working at Eisenhower Center for over 11 years. Throughout the years the company has changed and grown. I would only work at a place for this long that I knew had its heart in the right place. We are not perfect, sometimes our changes don't work out, so we try something new. Ultimately we are here to make sure our clients have an amazing quality of life. I see the efforts to make that happen in all of the EC team members; from administration, billing, food service, maintenance, clinicians, managers, rehab associates... everyone! Being an ESOP it makes the employees take more responsibility to do what it takes to make OUR company great. Eisenhower is like a family to me and I am proud of the work we do for our clients!
Fantastic experience: I have been an employee at Eisenhower Center for the past six years. I absolutely love my job. When I came to Eisenhower, I was really in need of a supportive environment where I could make a difference. I find that at Eisenhower. For the majority of our staff, this job is more than a paycheck. It’s a family. Our clients become more than just a client. Yes, their needs are met but there’s more to it than that. I’ve seen staff bring in home cooked meals for clients. I’ve seen staff purchasing things for clients, such as hygiene items and clothing, using their own money when the client does not have the financial means to do so. I’ve seen staff come in on off hours to celebrate special occasions with clients. We also build relationships with our client’s families and work hard to maintain good communication between the client and there family members. Eisenhower employees are also incredibly supportive of each other. I’ve never worked in a seeing where I have felt cared for as a person, not just a staff. Eisenhower Center has also worked tirelessly to attempt to save benefits for clients who have experience traumatic brain injuries as a result of a catastrophic car accident. The Center continues to advocate for these clients and their families to insure that they continue to receive the services that are needed. If you want to work in a place where you can make a difference and feel valued, this is the place. If you want to see actual positive changes and an interdisciplinary approach to rehabilitation, this is the place.
Thank you Jennifer, we agree. It is unfortunate review's mainly happen after someone is unsatisfied for a moment in time.
Negative experience: This place is trash. The communication between the treatment teams is almost nonexistent, the apartment program has been robbed & held at gunpoint twice. The apartment community in which they have their "Clients" are over ran with drugs. There has been multiple suicides in this place due to lack of empathy from higher ups & some of the floor staff come in with their personal issues & project their problems onto the already depressed clients of this facility. This facilities goals is not to rehabilitate but yet to trap & manipulate in order to gain as much profit they possibly can from the insurance companies. Their is no real therapeutic approaches in which Eisenhower provides. The fact that multiple of these reviews are coming from current employees that have been working for Eisenhower Center since I've been here stating to be "Previous clients" should show you that this EMPLOYEE OWNED COMPANY is ran by crooks that have nothing shy of MOB like mentalities. If I were capable of giving this place no stars & a review I would due to the fact that I myself have ran away from this place numerous times just to be brought back here & one of the times I ran away I legitimately told the court I would much rather be in jail than to stay at Eisenhower Center. To those who work for Eisenhower Center that posted the positive reviews for this place you should be ashamed of yourselves, I have yet to see a successful discharge from this facility. All discharges have been because the client's have regained guardianship or their families removed them from this awful place after finding out what was really going on. I wouldn't consider putting anyone I cared for or loved in such a poorly ran facility.
Negative experience: You’re company should really think about implementing a uniform policy. Your staff looks extremely unprofessional. Your a multi million dollar business and your staff dress like their at home and not a business. I highly recommend scrubs which are inexpensive and appropriate for your business. Suggestive Clothing such as stretch material is highly provocative. Please conduct yourself like a business and you won’t get bad reviews.
Negative experience: First off whoever stated Mr Don Adams and Mrs. Donna Schwartz just committed a HUGE HIPAA violation. If the patient or "clients" as you call them want to state that they're past patients that's their business. Secondly, yes its true they show very little sympathy or care for the "clients" here, this companies goal is to keep clients in their center so that they can keep drawing the insurance money. I was an employee here for 6 years and spent tireless nights and traveled to Lansing to help fight for the protection of auto no fault just to have this company throw me to the curb. Their practices and documentation is tampered and doctored to make everything look great at their center but its not. As another post stated yes, they have dropped their "clients" and yes, some of their "clients" have had their rights violated. They are poorly managed from upper management all the way down to lower management, Their are some great floor staff there that go unrecognized because of the poorly ran management. Do you really want to send your loved ones to a place where your loved ones rights are violated, HIPAA violations being violated on review sites like this and if they do it here then you know they do it other places and lastly you don't want to send your loved ones to a place where they will be physically or emotionally hurt. Do honest research and find a place better than The Eisenhower Center, they are all about how much money they can get per "client" as they call them and how to find a way to keep them longer than they need to be there.
Thank you for your concerns and continued fighting to preserve Auto No Fault Insurance in the State of Michigan. We are licensed through the State of Michigan for Adult Foster Care, which addresses all of your above concerns each year through multiple audits. CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, audited Eisenhower Center within the past year and Eisenhower Center acquired another 3 year Accreditation. Additionally, we work with multiple Community Mental Health agencies who perform surveys of our units separately from the AFC and CARF audits. If you have specific concerns you would like to address with Eisenhower Center please contact the Resident Rights Officer 677-0070 x343
Negative experience: If you are looking for a professional work environment this is not the place for you. Very unprofessional and unsanitary. Staff are not trained properly to provide quality care to their clients. Client safety is not a priority. Cleanliness is also not a priority. No such thing as infection control. This is a place that I would never want to receive care from and I definitely wouldn't want my own family and friends receiving care from this establishment.
Eisenhower Center's training meets and exceeds all state and federal requirements for Adult Foster Care (AFC) Licensed facilities as well as Community Mental Health (CMH) and Commission on Accreditation of Rehab Facilities (CARF). Eisenhower Center maintains high standard of care demonstrated by repeated high levels of positive responses on patient and external satisfaction surveys. If you have any specific concerns please contact the Resident Rights Officer at 677-0070 x343
Fantastic experience: I had a reverse shoulder surgery and had outpatient physical therapy at EC. My first day my therapist put me at ease by telling me that she had researched my surgery over the weekend. I have nothing but praise for my therapist and those that filled in for her. They are very patient and compassionate therapists. I was challenged which helped me get back to work in a timely manner.
Negative experience: The place is a joke. The staff is great but the higher up staff don't care about anything for the clients and how they feel. Clients are just dollar signs.
Negative experience: Joke,I anybody that you love, don't send there ,poorly ran, unethical joke,no real P.T.,no weight Machines, etc.jOT a joke,no hand therapy with numerous spinalcord injury, poorly managed, upper management distant from staffing Numerous complaints from staff and clients, overpriced somewhat legal insurance scam
Negative experience: They constantly drop clients. They disrespect the family's. They rarely take the clients out when they say they will. They disrespect the clients give them bedsores and cause more good then bad ! I would never recommend this facility to anyone !
