Negative experience: Be warned: this is a cancellation fee racket, not an actual business. This firm charges a $500 cancellation fee on a $700 initial appointment and explicitly told me that they would not reduce or waive it to keep me as a client. The reason for cancellation does not matter to them. Avoid if you ever have unpredictable illness in your life.

Fantastic experience: I have gone through physical therapy for 2 unrelated injuries at Team Rehab in Ann Arbor and have had nothing but great experiences both times. The entire time I have felt as though I was able to make any input and that my voice was heard. Not only does everyone treat you with respect, but they’re also very kind and generous people. I always receive a hearty welcome and everyone on staff knows everyone’s name and situation. I have always felt like I was in good hands and that everyone there tries to do their best for me.

Fantastic experience: Andrea and the whole team at the Oak Vally Dr location went above and beyond my expectations. I torn my bicep tendon at the elbow and was frightened with the journey ahead. They guided me through the recovery process before and after the operation with kindness and compassion. The whole team from front to back were proactive and informative with the recovery process. Even when I struggled with mental health issues, they were there for me. I would recommend them to everyone and also wouldn’t hesitate to go back, if needed. If you have to have physical therapy or rehabilitation, this is the place to go. You will be in good hands and won’t be disappointed. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thanks to the everyone at Team Rehab!

A special shout out to my therapist Fellipe Mikami, who in my opinion is the best. I had the pleasure of receiving treatment from Graeme over the course of a year. He was knowledgeable about my recovery process, receptive of my goals in treatment, and incredibly respectful. Cannot recommend him and this Team Rehab location enough.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Team Rehabilitation for anyone who is in need of physical therapy. I am so thankful for the help I received from the amazing staff there, especially my physical therapist Fellipe Mikami. He is the best! Fellipe was so supportive and helpful, always taking time to talk with me at each appointment and check my progress. He made adjustments as needed, providing the necessary exercises to do during my time there, as well as exercises that I could do on my own at home. I was amazed with how quickly I was able to see improvement and relief from my back and hip pain. The rest of the staff at Team Rehabilitation was also incredibly welcoming and attentive. They were always ready to help get equipment for me, provide words of encouragement, or answer any questions I had, sometimes before I even asked! Negative experience: I went to this office off of a recommendation for my sciatica pain, I was given a quick once over and then the therapist had me lay on a table with a belt around my hips that he hooked a belt from around him too. He leaned back pulling on my hips for about 20 and that concluded the appointment. I was told they would submit to my insurance. I received a bill from the office without they collecting from my insurance for the full amount of the visit. Needless to say I walked out of there with no changes or relief, and a bill in which I just paid out of pocket in full. This felt like a large production office where it more about volume than care.

The facility was clean and well-organized, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Everyone we interacted with was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking quality rehab services!

Office staff and exercise therapists are capable, thoughtful, caring, organized, keep track of all the details. I have a complex long-standing spine/core/pelvic misalignment—Team Rehab has been willing to work with me to finally improve this long-standing issue. With much appreciation…Team Rehab is now an essential part of my healthcare team.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! First found out about it because my partner went here for PT. Fast forward about a year, I needed some PT for my feet and ankles. I was matched up with Andrea who is incredible!! Every session she was engaged, had new and creative exercises for me, and really listened to what I wanted/ needed! I can not recommend this place enough if you are looking for physical therapy. The front desk staff/ office staff is great and welcoming. The PT aides are nice and helpful, and then of course Andrea was amazing! If you need PT, come here!!!

Negative experience: Maybe, it’s just my bad luck, because the reviews seem to be great. The staff is nice, but I’m sorry to say that I felt like just a number to them. I’ve had chronic back and neck pain for years but they didn’t seem to understand that and gave me random exercises to waste my time. For my hour, they started me on 10 minutes of biking, then some incredibly easy exercises that didn’t target the back at all. I told them I’m strong in all areas of my body, I lift weights, do calisthenics, play soccer, etc. I don’t need busy work that fills the hour, I need real back strengthening exercises. I told them from the start that I’ve had so many experiences with PT that didn’t care about improving my condition, and they assured me it wouldn’t be the case, but at least in the other places they actually gave me more than two back exercises and a daily regimen. I never got a homework regimen from them. How am I supposed to get better by ten minutes of biking, 20 minutes of easy, untargeted exercises, only 2x a week? My problem is deep and severe. I was excited for the massage and dry needling but they were pretty lame too. Also, there was a woman who was trying to speak to any of the 3 people at the front desk about canceling her appointment and they all ignored her. I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately I’m disappointed. Maybe it’s worth a try for you, I hope you have a good experience if you do.

I found the Team Rehab facility very friendly and efficient, easy to use and accommodating to a variety of schedules. While I only worked with one PT, the general vibe of this place reflects quality, professional, well-educated, and friendly PTs.

Fantastic experience: I have been to several physical therapy clinics and this is the best. They don’t just come up with a cookie cutter plan for therapy, they customize it to your particular needs based on the whole person, knowing your injury may effect other parts of your body. Update: I’ve completed six months of physical therapy at Team Rehab. We were working on pain that I’ve had for over ten years. I had been treated at another rehab clinic and they only treated part of the problem, and not effectively. At Team Rehab, they addressed three issues I had in my leg, one at a time. As each problem was corrected, they went on to the next, each time using different techniques, until I was almost pain free. My Physical Medicine doctor will take the last step, and the pain I have had for ten plus years will be gone. But most of the result was due to Team Rehab’s attention to detail, and their practice of treating each patient as unique and structuring the care plan to resolve that patient’s issues. Team Rehab, Ann Arbor #2, is the only Physical Rehab clinic I will ever recommend.

Update - Separate from my treatment, did something to my back at home, came in hardly able to walk, the crew sprung into action, providing heat, massage and stretching. Team Rehab 2 is the best.

Thanks Graeme for your skill and analysis of what will help. I shall now have high hopes that the continued exercises and that Ice therapy, will get me back to walking and completely out of pain. They understand that everything you experience, whether mental health, physical health, or other environmental factors, play into your pain and how your body responds. No other healthcare professional has given me the kind of care that these wonderful folks at Team Rehab have, and I've been in and out of many doctors over the years. (I remember crying after my first session because I felt heard and believed for the first time in my life when I explained my chronic pain and health issues to them. Being a young woman, my pain and health issues are often disregarded by doctors because I'm either too young or they think it's unlikely for me to have X condition. Fantastic experience: I’ve had a great experience with PT rehab here. The staff are wonderful, attentive and friendly. I came in agony with a thigh hematoma after a knee replacement and they adjusted my treatments perfectly to what I could tolerate. Stretching and massage by Rob were fantastic and left me feeling much better after every therapy. Team Rehab gets my highest recommendation.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 wouldn’t want to go anywhere else again after going to Team Rehab. Originally, my insurance did not cover them, but Team Rehab made it work for me. They also provide rides to and from PT if you cannot drive. This was a huge plus as I had hip surgery and could not drive for 5 weeks. They truly care about patients and they have great culture!

Fantastic experience: I started physical therapy on a walker and ended therapy walking with no assistance. The Team Rehabilitation staff was always kind, helpful and respectful! My therapist was professional, very knowledgeable, caring and observant. This is the first time I have ever completed a course of treatment through physical therapy. They were phenomenal! I will be back for my second knee replacement.

Fantastic experience: I've had alot of PT over the years, but this is one of the best clinics I've experienced. Therapists are so knowledgeable and helpful, taking their time to educate about the "whys and hows" of the injury and recovery. The clinic feels clean, organized, and efficient. Lots of different equipment to meet the needs of whatever one's injury presents. Front staff is friendly and welcoming, enthusiastically greeting everyone who comes in.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy at Oak Valley Drive in Ann Arbor. The staff there is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and effective, and they create a very unique environment—one that’s upbeat, lively, and responsive. There is a professional energy at Team Rehab that’s very motivating. Peyton and Kristen are the group’s patient administrative coordinators who greeted me with a welcome I wasn’t used to. It’s as if I was being embraced into a family. At every visit, they knew me, called me by my first name, asked about my symptoms, and engaged with me on a personal level. When I first called around looking for a rehab facility, I chose Team Rehab at Oak Valley Drive because of my first phone conversations with them. I talked with both women on separate occasions, and both made me feel that I’d be in capable hands. They are outstanding ambassadors for their company. I worked with Sean, Taylor, and Jennifer at various times during my rehab—all excellent, attentive, and skilled—but my primary physical therapist was Bridget Kane. She is the real deal. Exceptionally capable, Bridget worked with me for six weeks, gradually advancing the difficulty level of my exercises and always knowing what I could handle. I got to know Bridget personally. She was always willing to talk to me while providing 30 minutes of manual therapy on my leg and hip. Hers was no cold, professional face. She was warm, intelligent, and interested in my life. I walked out of Team Rehab in much better shape than when I entered, and I felt I had a solid, legitimate contact I could reach out to if I needed further help. I would go back there in a heartbeat because of Bridget. As I spent time doing my exercises at Team Rehab at Oak Valley, I would listen to the interaction between the employees and the clients. There were clients of all ages, with some much older seniors, and never once did I hear anyone called “Honey” or “Dear” or by a generic term that would demean them into a “faceless” patron. The level of professionalism mixed with genuine hospitality was sort of amazing. They also know what they’re doing. They’re really a highly skilled group of people. Together, this team creates an environment that’s inspiring and encouraging. Although I’m happy to be feeling much better now, I will kind of miss seeing them each week. They were that kind of group. I can’t thank them enough for all they did for me and for providing an atmosphere that welcomes people in and helps them feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I really liked Bridget and her team's work. The atmosphere at that place is super-friendly and welcoming. It was a joy to go there. Bridget diagnosed the source of my knee pain and came up with a treatment scheme that helped me heal quickly. I was treated with full respect (as an openly LGTBQ person, that matters a lot).

Fantastic experience: Team rehab is amazing.! I was there for about 3 1/2 months for frozen shoulder. Sean Ellis and his entire staff are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I felt very welcomed from the time I walked into the door until the time I left. I love how they greet everyone by name as soon as they come through the door. Special SO to Bridget she’s a great person and amazing therapist who really cares about you and your recovery. Jess and Payton create a motivating, challenging, and enjoyable environment with what can be seen as a monotonous training regimen. Team rehab is a family that wants to see you back at 100%. Great place.
