Fantastic experience: I loved my experience at Pure Physical Therapy! Last year I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction due to having breast cancer. Due to the expertise and training of my therapist Analysse, I was able to gain strength and reduce issues from my scaring after my surgery.

Fantastic experience: I walked in here in a boot and I’m leaving able to run. My experience has been nothing short of amazing. From the front desk staff to the doctors, everyone truly listened and adjusted my treatment along the way.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Joseph during my Run DNA session. He did an excellent job breaking down my running mechanics in a way that was easy to understand and visualize. He pointed out clear areas for improvement, key movements to help increase efficiency, and gave me immediate, actionable feedback I could apply right away. The session was very informative and personalized, and I left feeling more confident and intentional about my running.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely an AMAZING place to go for back pain. The staff is very nice and patient. My back is in love with the massage, stretch, and workouts. I've noticed improvement and started to do some stretches at home as well. Oh also, you are not waiting hours from your appointment time to see someone, they are very prompt!!! Negative experience: Physical Therapy Up until May 10 of 2024 this place did a great job then I had multiple VA vouchers sent to them and they never could find them but the VA confirmed that they were sent. Got tired of inconsistent treatment and their unwillingness to do their own work to find the correct voucher. Recently today 12/11/2025 had an accident that happened in August and referrals were sent and it took 4 months to hear from this group. I walked in. I’ve been a patient before was handed a full new set of paperwork with ridiculous restrictions and requirements when I have previously filled out the same And no one was ready at my appointment time so I don’t accept their care. I am looking somewhere else. If doctors punish patients for being late, which I was not, then if a practice is not able to accept you at the booked time and you’ve been a previous patient than you were wasting my time, I will look for somebody who treats me as a person, not a number Initially, this place was great, but again I got totally ignored and told to fix my own paperwork problem with the VA and then gave them a second chance, and nobody was ready at my given appointment time. Had previously given feedback and got extremely rude responses. There are some good people, but I just had a bad experience. Everybody has an off day, but this review is based on that off day which for me equated to two experiences. Read your response: There is no way to resolve this. You have lost a customer and my family members who have consultations as well. No more. I do appreciate your response but we will go elsewhere where we and our time are respected.

Fantastic experience: I went to Pure Physical Therapy once a week for about four months, and it made a huge difference for me. I was training to get stronger and recover for baseball, and the workouts especially with the Proteus machine helped me build power and improve my movement. The staff was super knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure I was doing everything right. They really care about your progress and take the time to personalize your workouts. I can honestly say I feel stronger, more explosive, and ready for the season. Highly recommend Pure Physical Therapy to any athlete looking to get better!

Fantastic experience: I have been here, on n off since 2019, not bcus it doesn't work. But simply bcus they help me overcome several issues , As per my orthopedic I needed surgery on my right shoulder, months after surgery of left shoulder, n with the help of Pure Therapy n Their therapist, I've been able to avoid it. I've been to several therapy places, but this is the best I've encountered, everyone has a great attitude. N speak with lots of respect, but at same time motivate us patients, to do our part. Now they have an app, with home exercises, specially on days we aren't scheduled. . Pure Physical is definitely the best.

Fantastic experience: Great therapy place. My 14 year old daughter had spinal cord surgery, within 4 months she went from a walking with a walker to walking unassisted. She couldn't have recover this fast without the great staff at Pure Physical Therapist. The entire staff are very knowledgeable, kind and professional. My daughter really enjoyed her therapy sessions, it was hard to say goodbye to the wonderful staff.

Fantastic experience: I have completed 3 weeks of therapy and have felt so much better. Everyone from the receptionists to the pts and ptas have been upbeat and accommodating. Joseph has done 2 dry needling sessions on me and I can really feel the difference! I have also had 1 laser massage treatment and loved it as well. I highly recommend their services. I am going to try their pilates once I am through with my prescribed treatments!!!

Fantastic experience: I went to pure physical therapy to treat my lower back. I had tightness and soreness for couple weeks and the therapist was awesome! All the exercises and stretches we did helped my lower back. After I finished my exercises, I felt 1000% better with more mobility and no pain! I will definitely go back again for my future therapy!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic! Each session restored "pain fee" movement I had not had for 10 years. The surgery was good, the physical therapy was superb. They restored all my movements and I am pain-free. I have resumed swimming, did a mile this week ... no pain.

Fantastic experience: Pure Physical Therapy is a great place to go if you need help recovering from a running injury like me! I had two weeks to get back to health before my half marathon. I needed a fast track! Well Pure Therapy got me there! I was recovered sufficiently to run my half marathon and I even won first place in my age bracket! I even went for follow-up recovery after my half marathon. They gave me tools to use for life so I don’t have reoccurrence injuries. I highly recommend this Pure Therapy! They are one only ones I know in my area who specialize in sports injuries. Therapist and staff were amazing!

Fantastic experience: I came here post double surgery on my elbow and it has helped me immensely. Pre and post surgery I was having problems holding anything pre and post surgery and now I'm working on assisted push ups. They work you had and they will keep you withina a threshold for pain but that's part of it. I highly recommend Pure Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I live in Ft. Worth, but spend January through March in McAllen. When I had achilles tendon surgery in January, I knew I had to find a physical therapy clinic in McAllen. I asked some winter Texans and read reviews, and hoped for the best. After spending 6 weeks at Pure Therapy, I couldn't have found a better clinic! From the front desk check-in to the therapists, to the appointment reminder callers, and even other staff not directly assigned to me, I was treated with respect and friendliness. Everyone knew my name, listened to my concerns, then treated my achilles issues with a mixture of massage, strength and flexibility exercises that promoted healing. Every session helped me toward my goal of hiking again without pain. At no time was I left alone; someone was right there by me cheering me on and observing all movements, correcting if needed. Fantastic experience: After having two babies back to back i was In extreme pain at the shoulder, hip, neck and lower back. Team of therapists was able to reduce my pain and increase my range of motion after completing my treatments. Dr Laura and Joseph were both very knowledgeable and sympathetic to my concerns with pain. They utilized dry needling techniques along with exercises, stretches and manual therapy which helped me get better. After each session i felt pain relief. Needless to say everyone was pleasant and all therapists and techs who treated me were awesome. I would recommend everyone in pain to come here.

Fantastic experience: I am in McAllen visiting with family and fell off of a step at a playground and twisted my ankle. I wanted to make sure I didn’t break anything and googled PT and found Pure PT & Pilates. When I called I was told there was an opening to have my ankle looked at and taped in an hour. Joe at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. Joseph (Physical therapist ) was exceptional. He put me at ease immediately, was very patient, caring, supportive and knowledgeable. I went about 4 times over a few weeks and really felt that the people who worked there truly liked what they were doing and cared about their patients. I am returning to CT on Monday and Joseph said if I needed anything when I returned home or needed another physical therapist to talk to him that he would be available. It was truly a great experience and I would recommend them highly.

Fantastic experience: I started therapy after a fall where I fractured my left shoulder. I had pain, swelling and couldn’t do daily chores. Therapy helped my mobility, flexibility and strength. I am very satisfied with my care at Pure PT. The therapists take their time to explain the mechanics of the exercises and stretches in order to reduce pain and gain mobility. They also keep you updated with your progress and offer helpful exercises you can continue at home with their mobile workout plan. Overall my therapy was a great experience and I am very thankful for all their help!

Fantastic experience: I have been to Pure Physical Therapy on multiple occasions for therapy. I’ve been there for hamstring,foot, & shoulder therapy. My most recent visit was last week for treatment on my QL(lower back area). Dr. Garza personally took care of me. I feel much better now. Dr. Garza and his staff have always taken great care of me. Fantastic experience: I unfortunately had a bad accident that messed up my knee pretty bad. I was in pain and could barely walk. That's how it was starting off with Pure. Fantastic experience: I’m rating 5 stars because when it comes to Target they are on point at Pure Physical Therapy. Mathew right away will perform a therapy lesson that will right away make a difference. When I first arrived Dr. Frank was able to pop my back where it needed to release tension but only saw him once wish I’d continue with him. Desi is another great Therapist that shows you techniques to where it will help ease your pain. In my case it was plantar fasciitis. I like how Desi explains what the exercise is for what it’s correcting. Mathew does the same. I did get assistance from a PTA Alejandro and he helped Target my back pain, do to spinal stenosis. A GREAT group of people who will surely Target any issue you might have. Ruben Alvarado has done wonders on my back. That’s do to my spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, and bulging discs. He will have you perform exercises to eleviate the pain. I definitely am going to refer my Friends and Family. Everyone there has a good attitude and very Friendly too.

Fantastic experience: I really liked Pure Physical Therapy. Jon was my therapist. He is very conscientious and dedicated to his profession. I had a very difficult case and he kept trying and working with me to help me improve my health. Everyone there was very pleasant. Easy to schedule appointments and quick with getting insurance approval.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Pure Physical Therapy for over a year for Lower Back issues and Shoulder/Bicep issues. I have to say that the staff is incredible and easy to work with when it came to scheduling my appointments. Fantastic experience: I began experiencing lower back pain due to heavy weight lifting (with a compromised form). As a body builder i had the mind set to “push through”, but i couldn’t ignore it any longer. When i turned to Pure Physical Therapy I could barely sit for an hour before my lower back pain would start. I could no longer deadlift, squat, hip thrust, etc. Pure Physical Therapy taught me how to perfect my form and get back to the basics of lifting. They have taught me how to lift safely and efficiently. I am now able to do all of the moves i could not do before with no back pain! Everyone at Pure Physical Therapy is very knowledgeable, kind, and made me feel welcomed in every visit. They have showed me plenty of new exercises and stretches that i can incorporate in my everyday routine. I 100% recommend Pure Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: What a pleasant experience in a caring, friendly and professional atmosphere. There was no wait time, which is always wonderful. I was experiencing knee pain after a physically demanding hiking experience and saw Dr. Amy Garza to determine if I had serious damage. With several different tests, she determined that it was inflamed and not torn or damaged. After massage and showing me several helpful stretches and strengthening exercises, my knee was much improved. I highly recommend this practic

Dr. Amy is extremely positive and knowledgeable; she always takes the time to explain the moves and show us proper technique! Fantastic experience: I am very happy with the results I got at Pure Physical Therapy for my Rotator Cuff Tear injury. I saw the difference after my first week there. I got substantial mobility and strength on my shoulder and experienced much less pain. The physical therapists are excellent! I would especially recommend Ruben Alvarado and Jessica.

Fantastic experience: Great therapy experience working with physical therapist Enrique. Pure PT really helped with my shoulder pain. The stretching and strengthening done at therapy really helped me overcome many month of pain and discomfort.

From day one you could get a sense for how much they cared about their patients. Someone actually sits down with you and listens, and they identify the root of the problem(s). A plan is created that is specific to you, and not a generic one as found in most other physical therapy offices. There were constant check-ins on my progress and they continued to refine my treatment plan as the weeks went on. Alejandro did a fantastic job facilitating my complete recovery. No one feels like a stranger here. I hope never to be back, but if I need to, I know I’ll be in great (banana) hands.

Most important, their team made me self sustainable and independent thanks to their educational approach. Especially their fantastic therapist Joseph who patiently educated me and answered all my (repetitive) questions. I am eternally grateful. Highly recommend it. Note though its a long process but with patience, initiative to learn and their fantastic team you’ll be great. Sean was also fantastic!

Fantastic experience: This has been one of the greatest experiences that I have had a far as my therapy experiences. These guys really work with you it's a feeling of being at home and relax along with the professionalism as well. When I came in here I couldn't lift my arm with the assistance and the exercise I am able to do things I couldn't even imagine once again. They're very friendly and just a great place to to work out in and get the help that you need. I am grateful for the experience I feel so much better and I will miss coming here it's been even fun.
