Negative experience: Waited 2.50 hours after my scheduled appointment. Receptionist admitted tripled booked appointments. They don’t realize it’s a business and either employee more doctors or see less patients. But, don’t be gr DT and inconsiderate about clients time. While sitting in the lobby there were 4 other people complaining about the business. Be ready to wait an extreme time for this unprofessional clinic.

Fantastic experience: Have been very please with services, would definitely recommend the services. Physical therapists are excellent and so are occupational therapist. So glad that received continued therapy after discharge from DHR Rehab.

Fantastic experience: I'm writing this review on the eve of Thanksgiving because I'm so thankful for the service I received from DHR Health (Neuro-Therapy Institue) located at 4500 N. 10th Street, Suite 400, Mcallen, Texas 78504. I will also be posting my message on Google because I want everyone reading my post to know how special of an employee you have working at your facility. I was directed to go to this location for physical therapy. I was in a lot of pain and very irritable because no one really gave me any relief from the agonizing pain I had in my neck. I was able to get an injection to help with the constant pain I was having on a daily basis. I was taking Advil daily just to go to work. Sanjuanita (SJ) was assigned my case. The day we met I wasn't really in a good mood. (SJ) asked me several questions about my pain and you know how you feel when you're hurting. You really don't want to hear anything. You just want the pain to stop. It was like Charlie Brown talking to his teacher (Blah, blah, blah). (SJ) applied pressure to the area where I was hurting (deep tissue massage) and I instantly felt relief. (SJ) was so kind and understanding of my situation. There are no words to explain the outstanding care I was given. In two weeks, I stop using Advil completely. I was amazed at the treatment I was receiving from (SJ). Finally, someone who really listen to my concerns. I have been discharged for several weeks now. I wanted to give a review about (SJ) on a daily basis, but I can only write one review. I'm so thankful for the service I received from not only (SJ) but the staff working at the clinic. Natlie was awesome and made my appointments work around my work schedule. Thank you, Mrs. (SJ), for all you did for me. I pray God will always keep you and your family safe. You are definitely heaven sent. Bless you for what you do. May you and yours have a safe and blessed Thanksgiving. Thanks to (SJ), I'm pain free now.

Fantastic experience: The staff is beyond courteous. They care, they try, they go above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: Went to Dr. Montes for a second opinion on an eye injury, the technician had numerous machines the other did not. She was extremely knowledgeable. It was clear they invest in training for all staff. Dr. easily understood and explained what was wrong and explained why the other doctors diagnosis was incorrect. He explained the scans clearly and made an action plan for next steps. 10 stars to this office. Highly impressed.

Fantastic experience: My Dad (81yr) had his cataracts removed by Dr. Jorge A. Montes,MD. Dr. Montes was very polite and communicated with my Dad and I. Really liked that he spoke to my Dad in Spanish so that he can understand what the process of the procedure was going to be. My Dad had really really bad cataracts. He had probably had it for more than 15yrs. He now see clearly and is happy with the results. Dr. Jorge A. Montes and his staff a great. I recommend consulting with him.

Fantastic experience: I would like to commend Mr Nico Valdez - one of their Physical Therapists. He is knowledgeable and very pleasant. He takes time to explain things in a manner that his patient understands what he is discussing, he takes his time to entertain and answer his patient’s concerns and questions. He makes his patient comfortable and not feel rushed. He’s very patient with his patient in doing the exercise/therapy. He is an asset to the institution. I would also like to commend the staff of this facility. Reception staff are pleasant - greets clients and families cheerfully and makes them feel welcomed. As we are waiting to be called, I see other therapists greet their patients like they are glad and happy to see them. Surely this atmosphere makes their patients calm and less anxious which will make them more responsive to their therapy. I totally recommend this place!

Positive experience: The person ell are not very people friendly. Yes there's a good morning take your temp and get your info but take a seat and that's it. Everything is work for the patient from the time you arrive. Feels like the only reason they ask how are you is due to one of the Covid questions. So today I arrive after waiting on an appointment that was due to my own doing as they didn't call me for a fitting for contacts I had to initiate it. Or would still be waiting. So today after three weeks they are unprepared and don't know what or if the insurance covers my lenses. really you don't know!! How long should it take to get a response so I called my insurance and they informed me that it would be covered at 100%. Done 20 minutes this morning. Hmm sounds like a time management issue. Giving this 3 was a gift today it should be lower.

Fantastic experience: Imaging Center is right besides the Therapy center. Great staff, didn't take to long to get a CT scan.

Fantastic experience: The therapy was very successful in treating my pain. The therapist was excellent and instructed/taught me how to perform exercises at home to keep me pain free.

Fantastic experience: Top of the line facility. Expert therapists and very courteous service. Highly recommend to all.

Negative experience: Worse service ever very incompetent stafe both in this ofice and Mission ofice too.
