Negative experience: No one at any front desk including trauma made my day really difficult

Fantastic experience: I have to say this place was run very well. Jason was #1 superb as a professional and gentleman. CJ was kindhearted and great too, and you're lucky to have him. Talesha was a powerhouse of normalcy and has a wonderful sense of humor. Blessing's amazing abilities are hard to describe, (and isn't personal of nature.) Young man in green with curlyish brown hair was so friendly, generous in a professional way, and wonderful in general. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: Thankful for people who leave reviews, which is why I'm writing one! After falling sick & us daughters having to pick a rehab facility, we are SO thankful for Medical City Rehab in Mckinney. The staff (nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, doctors) were all so kind and patient with my dad. They work daily (and I mean work) to encourage and get their patients up and moving and recovered to leave. I never would've thought my dad would go home after 2 weeks from how he originally arrived. Truly amazing! This facility is clean, and the care is wonderful. Highly highly recommend if you are panicking last minute or have to trust a place for your loved one.

Fantastic experience: Amazing. My parents have been in and out of rehabs all over this area. This is by far the best facility. Food is great, staff attentive, drs all amazing. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Service des urgences au top. Locaux tres propres sieges salle d'attente confortables et surtout tout le personnel rencontré gentil à l'écoute, allant jusqu'à faire appel à un traducteur pour donner les resultats. Je ne pense que l'on trouve cela en France....

Fantastic experience: I spent 8 days at this facility the first part of June, 2024 rehabbing from triple bypass surgery. What a wonderful experience! Everyone made me feel like family and treated me like their favorite grandfather. This includes everyone from Dr. Avers, the boss, to Miss Paula, the custodial wizard. All of my nurses from my arrival with Eunice to my departure with Jiara could not have been more kind or efficient. All of my therapists, physical, occupational, speech, etc were caring, attentive and thorough especially Lakida, my guardian angel, Kay and Stephanie. I must also thank all of the administrative staff, the superb chef and his staff, the techs, respiratory folks and all others. YOU ARE ALL THE BEST!!! God Bless and thank you all.

Fantastic experience: Been here 5 days....Everyday I improve more and more . Everyone is very helpful. Rehab will be what you make of it....and if you are ready to work...They are ready to help. When I'm done, I will do a longer review!!

Fantastic experience: Although I could have gone home two days after surgery it was my choice to go to inpatient rehab to receive additional physical & occupational therapy. Dr. Avers, the physiatrist, at the rehab was amazing. He visited daily to see if I needed anything, was willing to make medication changes, listen to my concerns & follow up as needed. He never seemed rushed, was always helpful & professional. I looked forward to his daily visits while there. He always greeted me with a smile, had a warm friendly personality & was very thorough. The therapists in the Medical City McKinney acute rehab were wonderful. I had daily visits from Hailey in PT to see how everything was going for me. She wanted to know how the pain was, did I need anything? Not only was the PT & OT staff helpful, but they made therapy fun. I was there 9 days for therapy, and I was physically ready to go home when my stay ended. I cannot speak highly enough of this rehab & care I received. The surgery was on March 25, 2024, followed by a 2-day hospital stay and inpatient acute rehab 9 days at Medical City McKinney and was discharged to home April 4, 2024. My surgery was a revision of a right total knee previously done elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: My mother recently spent 12 days here post back surgery & both myself, my siblings and my mother could not have been more pleased with the care they provided! All the staff were fantastic - RNs, PCTs, OT, PT & Providers. Truly a positive experience!!

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic team! If you need Rehabilitation, this is where you need to go. This amazing team has gone above and beyond for our family. The nursing team is strong and very attentive to all patients. I can't say enough about the therapy team, who are all servant leaders and have gone the extra mile to reach goals and ensure my son is mentally and physically doing well each day. Dr. Avess has been very hands-on and even came to see my son on his personal time this weekend.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough positive things about this facility and staff! Dr Avers is amazing, everyone who has cared for my mother has been uplifting positive encouraging and kind. A talented staff in a spotless facility. State of the art equipment. The progress my mother and other patients have made during my mothers stay is remarkable! Thanks a million Medical City McKinney. I tell everyone who will listen that your rehabilitation center is the place to heal!

Fantastic experience: I was discharged 4 days ago and am thankful to have had the experience in Med City's Rehab post-knee replacement surgery. I made great strides in my recovery by being in the facility and under the excellent, watchful care of the rehab team. OT and PT personnel were kind, patient, and understanding - realizing that each step was like climbing a mountain - and each accomplishment deserved of applause. The attitude is one of family - and they work together to keep their patients positive. I wouldn't consider another rehab facility in all of North Texas.

Positive experience: The rehabilitation hospital is a little tricky to find. Go past the hospital and take a right at the light. Follow past the construction and it’s on your right if coming from 75/121.

Negative experience: This front desk lady talking on the private phone without answering my questions. Very unprofessional!
