Negative experience: I'm laying in bed in pain can't get any pain meds cuz they don't have their own pharmacy so we're waiting for pain meds to get here from wherever. This is not acceptable as far as I'm concerned.

Fantastic experience: The facilitators at this facility are the best! They are caring and considerate with not just my resident and friend but with all residents. They show patience and the activities the directors plan are great! I can't brag on them enough.

The kitchen staff and cooks are excellent, ensuring that every resident is well-fed and cared for with attention to detail. The nursing staff consistently goes above and beyond to deliver compassionate, professional care. In addition, the maintenance and housekeeping staff keep the facility exceptionally clean, safe, and welcoming. The entire team demonstrates genuine dedication and commitment to the residents. I highly recommend this facility for the excellent care and services they provide.

Fantastic experience: After more than six months, I can honestly say North Park Health and Rehabilitation is exceptional. The staff members know us by name and go out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The activities are excellent, well thought out and give residents something enjoyable and fun to do each day. Most importantly, the care is delivered with compassion and patience. We never have to worry about our loved one when we leave and feel confident she is well cared for. We absolutely love North Park, the employees and its family atmosphere. A true blessing!

Fantastic experience: I own a non profit and my crew and i go to nursing homes to visit and care for the residents. We have always been warmly welcomed by the activities directors and staff. I have been visiting here for almost 2 years and have found the residents are treated with respect and are well taken care of.

Fantastic experience: My husband was a patient at North Park on two separate occasions. The staff took excellent care of him while he was there. They had activities on a daily basis and made sure the patients participated. If my husband had to have rehab again, we would choose North Park.

Fantastic experience: Hevan is the new administrator of the facility and has been extremely helpful to me about 6 months my daughter dumped me here and has not helped me since after making me a lot of promises but that’s where the new administrator came in to help me since I am only in my fifty’s she is helping me with managing my money so I can get back into society and move forward to make a fruitful life which is worth more than anything else in the world to me right now

Fantastic experience: My dad was here and absolutely loved the staff and was always taken care of promptly and nicely. The staff works hard and is very nice. I loved this place for my elderly father having to do rehab. The staff is amazing!

Fantastic experience: I just want to thank the staff that took great care of my father until his passing yesterday afternoon. This place is so friendly, residents seem so happy, staff is wonderful. It’s hard to make a decision to have to place a loved one. This place was alittle distance from me but it was worth it. My father was taken care of until it was his time to go. Fantastic experience: Northpark is amazing! My husband has been in several facilities and this one is absolutely the best. It is not fancy but so full of love for all of the residents. The staff goes out of their way to take care of the residents and the family. When i had to put my husband in a facility i was devastated, but they have been there to get me through. I highly recommend Northpark.

Fantastic experience: I had so many wonderful experiance at north park. The place is old but it makes up for it with the wonderful people there. From the residents house keepers kitchen staff, maintenence, rehab CNA's nurses they have the best Don Adon's and they have the best Activity ladies. And all the people in the offices that come out to help like one big happy family. The Administrator is awesome. I been in health care for over forty years I traveled from California, Las Vegas, Florida and all over Texas and I can honestly say that they are the best. The minute I started there Joyce and sonish made me feel welcomed. I looked to Joyce for strenth because its not easy in a new enviroment. When I got injured Leslie, loycenia, Sonish and milka and my rehab friend I forgot her name always made sure I was ok. Joel my supervisor is the best. Dee is so professiinal, everyone is great. I said all that to say NORTH PARK HEALTH AND REHAB is the best the residents are blessed to be there. They are well taken care of by everyone. I miss being there so much because they are my family especially the residents

Fantastic experience: My dad has been here for about 8 months. At first I didn’t think it would be a good fit but boy was I wrong. The people working here are seriously invested in the lives of each person in their facility. I’m a do totally prepared nurse and have very high standards. They far exceed every expectation. Fantastic experience: I'm 81 yrs old and fell and broke my foot. I spent three months at North Park Rehab and give everything but the food an A+ rating. The staff, nurses, aids and therapist are excellent and caring and committed to providing the best care possible for their patients. The food is acceptable but not what you’re used to at home. Its an older facility but exceptionally clean and well maintained. B Hamlton

Fantastic experience: My mom was here for about 15 plus days. The admin staff AMAZING, the PT staff was AMAZING and the nursing staff was AMAZING!!! I did come to the facility pretty much every day to make sure my mom and staff were doing right by her. I very rarely had to complain. She was kept clean, dry and fresh. My mom was able to get a good amount of her quality of life back. I’m grateful to this facility. Sadly my mom did pass away recently but what time I did have with her after she left the facility was very positive. Thank you North park.

Fantastic experience: I have always had good experiences when my mother stays at North Park. They have always taken good care of her. The staff has been very attentive to her and made every effort to inform me of any issues. Any time my mom needs respite care I call them. When I was looking there were places the VA had on their list that were closer but I didn't feel as comfortable with them as I did North Park so I choose to travel the distance to McKinney and feel comfortable than leave her someplace else.

Positive experience: My sister was transferred here after a month-long hospital stay. Although it was not exactly what we expected, it turns out it was exactly what was needed: good care by kind people. We appreciated both! Thank you, North Park Health and Rehab Center!

Fantastic experience: We visited numerous nursing homes to find the right place for my grandmother-in-law, who has dementia. North Park truly stood out with its kind and caring staff. The level of care they provide to the residents is exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure their well-being and happiness. Not only did they take wonderful care of my grandmother-in-law, but they also supported our family during the adjustment process. Special thanks to Katherine for her amazing service and providing us with all the answers and support we needed. We are truly grateful for the excellent care and assistance North Park has provided to our family.

Fantastic experience: This past year I have been a prisoner in three "skilled" nursing facilities and a valued patient in one. Two of these were the newest and nicest facilities in Plano. I assure you that there was nothing skilled about them. When I was in the hospital recently and ready to move into post surgical care and rehabilitation, I was very careful to look at the CMS ratings. The highest rating I found was the one closest to my home in McKinney. When the ambulance brought me, I was dismayed to see how worn out and weary the place looked. However, I was greeted warmly by my first name and and I received immediate care. The nurses were clearly highly trained and and took their Hippocratic oath to heart. They were warm and friendly. They communicated well with me and always looked after my comfort. I felt like I was the only patent they had. Once I was settled, the physical therapist, Duncan, came in to evaluate me and immediately went to work with me. Duncan and I hit it off immediately. I looked forward to working with him as much as I could. He never let me over do it yet challged me each day. It was a fantastic experience and to top it off, the food was good. I have another surgery coming up, and I look forward to another stay at North Park. I'm going to milk it as much as I can. I love them all and I plan on going by there today to say hello.Peace Brian Nobles

Fantastic experience: Special shout out to the staff of 300 hall (Stephanie Zulu, Meredith Roach, Kailee and Samantha) for taking excellent care of the dementia patients. The patients looked relaxed and happy. Everyone was up in chairs and wheel chairs for lunch. The staff was kind and engaging with the patients. I will highly recommend this facility. Thank you all for taking very good care of our patients.

Fantastic experience: Don't let the older appearance of the building fool you. What's impressive is the overall quality; openness; and helpful, caring nature of the employees, from the nurses and therapists to kitchen and facilities staff. As a comparison, I was in a rehab facility prior to this one, an upscale one, where quality of care was inconsistent, some of the staff were questionable, and there were a few incidences of suppressed facts, which caused me to be rushed to the hospital despite their reluctance. Thus, a facility in an upscale setting doesn't necessarily mean top-quality care. North Park Health and Rehabilitation Center is the real deal.

Fantastic experience: I have been in this industry for almost 4 years. By far, this is the Best place I have worked at. NorthPark takes incredible care of both the Residents and Staff. I’m the Activity Director and I look forward to coming to work. Great Mgmt Company with high standards which results in Great Service. I truly have found a place to call home. Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful care facility that does a great job of looking after my mother. They make every effort to listen to my concerns and quickly address them. I especially appreciate that they are great about getting me on the phone to speak to my mother when she is lonely. I can’t say enough good things about their business office getting the money end of things successfully resolved. Lastly they work hard at getting my mother involved in activities. Fantastic experience: My husband had a wonderful experience at North Park, he progressed much faster than we thought he would and was able to go home a week early. The PT and OT were so helpful, the nurses are great and the food is great. I would tell anyone needing skilled nursing to go to North Park.

Fantastic experience: I work in the facility, as well as having my grandmother live in the facility. The staff takes tremendous care of her and they treat her with kindness and respect. They also keep me informed whenever there may be something going on with her care. She loves being here, she has made friends with lots of other resident and loves joking around with the staff. I know if I tried to take her anywhere else she would probably be very unhappy. This place has become her home and she is extremely happy to be there. I love working at North Park, getting to interact with the residents daily and helping families with this sometimes difficult transition from home to a nursing facility can be stressful. I having done it myself am able to understand when families are having a more difficult time with the process. I truly enjoy being a member of the staff here for almost 4 years, and have no plans of leaving anytime soon.

Fantastic experience: Great facility, Great staff! My family is very pleased we found our Mother’s long term home. The staff is what makes North Park top notch. Brianna, Katherine, Shar, Vernell, Will, EVERY nurse and aide…..absolutely wonderful. My Mom and myself enjoy interacting with the staff each and every day. So very attentive! And the OT and PT staff….the therapy has helped my mom so very much. I look forward visiting as much and as long as I can. The building is old but it is taken care of. I highly recommend North Park!

Fantastic experience: My mother has been a resident here since Feb/Mar of 2020 and she really enjoy all the staff, everytime I speak with her she has express how she is very Happy with the environment. I received calls from all the staff with updates when it comes to my mother. There are pros and Cons to everything in life and I am sure there is always room for improvement and I think they handle any situation that come their way. Shar is Amazing just to Name drop. but all the staff is great when I come visit.

Fantastic experience: North Park accepted my father-in-law with open arms. While this was our first experience with Long Term care, the staff did an exceptional job of keeping me informed of his status. What brought me to ease was the staffs attempts to engage with not only the patients, but family also. There were never any concerns of his care and though he had outside medical doctors, the staff nurses and doctors continually monitored his health and kept me abreast. Shar quickly handled the initial paperwork and acceptance as well as managed his discharge. She was quite the blessing. Roxanne was the first face you saw when entering the place and her smile warmed the entire center. She was a wealth of knowledge. Vernell was over housekeeping and he made a person visit to put me at ease with my father-in/laws personal belongings. He routinely checked in and gave a me a sense of comfort.Everyone worked together to make the stay a complete joy. Thank you all!

Fantastic experience: My son is a resident at North Park Health and rehab and the care that they provide is unmatched. The nurses provide very good care for him, but there is one nurse by the name of Joel that stands out with his big personality. I recommend this facility because there is a lot of caring and love from the staff. This means a lot to me and my family.

Fantastic experience: We had to make the difficult decision to choose a Skilled Nursing Facility for short term rehab while our grandmother was in the hospital, and we were not able to tour any on the list provided by the hospital. We relied solely on the amazing reviews we read about North Park, and we are so glad that we did! When we arrived the day of her transport, we were a little concerned about how old the building seemed, but we quickly learned that we had made an excellent choice for her care. The nurses, staff and therapy team were incredible. We could not have asked for more compassion, care and loving interactions for her. We are forever grateful to Sara, Francesca, Alexis, Ruth and others for her daily personal care. These folks truly care and know how to take care of their people--also, they are just the sweetest humans. We also appreciate the amazing therapy team, Duncan, Peter, Cody, Colleen, and others for helping her with her recovery. We highly recommend this place for short term Skilled Nursing and Rehab!

Fantastic experience: I had both knees replaced at the same time and needed a couple of weeks of in patient rehab. While at the facility I received amazing service. The staff was all kind and very attentive to my needs at all times. I would recommend North Park to any one.

Fantastic experience: We have been so impressed with the care my mom is receiving at North Park. All of the nursing staff has been wonderful - going above and beyond, finding solutions that encourage her to eat more, and keeping a watchful eye on her for her own safety. The therapy group works with her on daily basis and is also trying innovative measures to help her function despite her dementia. It is so nice to be greeted warmly upon arriving and have any questions cheerfully answered - this is a new experience for us and the North Park team has helped us immensely!

Fantastic experience: All the nurses are nice, and they come when you ask. The therapy department does good too. They helped me do crafts, like making a pillow for my therapy. Now I can do that at home. Everybody is great, they did good for me. Sometimes I got things for my meals that I didn't want, but everyone was good to me. If I ever need therapy again I would come back. I like this place better than the other places I have been to.

Fantastic experience: I came in for some rehab, I had an infection in my wound, that I did not know about. They caught it and healed the infection. I am very grateful for that. If I ever need rehab in the future, I will be back.

Fantastic experience: I love everyone at this facility. I chose a great facility to care for my husband. The nurse Mulu provides perfect care and he informes me about all of my husband's care plans. Ronda, one of the CNA's is so compassionate and caring. She cares for my feelings and for my husband's feelings. Please don't hesitate choosing this facility for your loved ones care.

Fantastic experience: My father received excellent rehab at North Park. The therapists and nurses gave him great care and were also kind and helpful to the family. The Maintenance supervisor and the Rehab manager both went above and beyond to make his stay comfortable.

Fantastic experience: The care at this facility is really good. When I have any issue with my care we go to the Director of Nursing Derrick and he always Addresses our concerns immediately. The nurses and aides are really good, but Grace, Joyce,Esther,Ruth and Nelson are some of the people that go above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: My mother-in-law stayed two weeks at this facility in August, after a hip replacement, she enjoyed the food. Therapy got her back up and walking with the new hip in two weeks. She is mobile again thanks to the therapy department. Thank you everyone who took care of her at North Park during her stay.

Positive experience: The nurses are really good at this facility. The care by the nurses Joe and Judy is fantastic. The aides Michelle and John does there work with compassion and care. There is room for improvement, but so far the second stay here has been so much better!

Fantastic experience: If I had reviewed this community @1 year ago, I would have given them 0 stars, as I was met with some of the rudest individuals, working there. But, I did not review them then. I will review them today. Honestly, I cringed when I learned that I had to go there today. Well, much to my delight, this community has done a complete 360. The customer service was outstanding. I did not have an appointment, but the 1st individual that approached me asked if I had been helped. When I explained why I was there, she immediately went to find the DON for me. She gave me frequent updates, and in between the updates, was noted to be stopping to lend a helping hand to residents and staff. Each and every individual that passed me, did so with a smile and asked if I had been helped. It was also noted that the staff presented professionally, neat and in uniform and showed great compassion to the residents. The community was clean and smelled wonderful. I have been a nurse for over @35 years and have seen a lot of both good and bad. North Park Health and Rehabilitation Center has taken the steps in the right direction. I met with the DON and ADM. and let them know I would be very excited to refer individuals to their community. I also met with the family of the resident I was there about. The family praised their services as well, indicating they receive calls with each and every update, and really love the communication. Adding that "the staff has been so nice." So, I must thank you for your professionalism, dedication and taking such good care of not only my former resident, but their family. It is so refreshing to see others leading by example. What a fantastic managerial team!

Fantastic experience: I am new to the Dallas area, and trying to find a new job. And today I had a interview here. The nursing home smells really good, and is very clean. The staff also is really nice, and very welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I was here for 14 days. Evaluated on a Saturday, which I didn't expect. Sunday I rested and Monday they came full force. Progressive, intense therapy, to and above limitations., to create muscle stability and learning to walk correctly. Left me with instructions on home health and rehab at home. Am coming back for my rehab after my second surgery. I enjoyed the food they cooked everything I like. I love veggies and there was always good veggies. Overall very pleased with my care here.

Fantastic experience: I'm a resident of Nortpark. It's refreshing to know that when you need or want something it can and will be done. The staff is friendly and curious. The CNA's and NURSES are always johnny on the spot. Activities are great always have something to do or someone to hear from. Food most of the time is good. So over all I'm a happy camper.

Fantastic experience: I have had the pleasure of meeting the team and was able to have an interview right on the spot. The hole time I was here from filling out an application to the end, everyone was very friendly. I am so looking forward to being a part of this team and hope I get the position here.

Fantastic experience: I transferred from the Houston market to North Park Health & Rehabilitation Center and have been very pleased with my experience. The staff and residents are happy and I have found the care to be phenomenal! North Park has definitely made me feel at home and I would recommend touring the facility if you have a need for short or long term care for a loved one!
