Fantastic experience: A very good experience on our first day. We got my Dad located and comfortable in his room. The aids came by to greet him in a generous manner as well as the dietician asking about his challenges and how could they assist to make eating a good experience for him. I was very pleased with the first day.

Fantastic experience: I dropped in today to meet with Jessica, the Charge Nurse and discuss upcoming clinicals planned for my LVN students. Not only was the facility top notch, bright and cheery, staff all smiling.. but Jessica was a delight and I’m so looking forward to bringing my students to learn from staff and care for the residents in a wonderfully supportive environment.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is awesome. Go above and beyond. Ms Brenda Lewis took my moms very, very dry skin and feet look great. Magical caring touch. Every soul that my mom and i encountered are very very special caretakers. I have had experiences with other facilities with other family members and town east trumps them all. She doesn't want to leave. My heart is full of appreciation

Fantastic experience: My 88 year old mom was in Town East Village for therapy 3 weeks. At first she was sad, not wanting to be there wanting to go home. By the third day she begin telling us how nice everyone treated her and that the food was good.Mom also shared her therapy work outs and how she felt better because they really took their time with her. Over all mom like the facility/staff and Jacqueline was her favorite. Mom stated Jacqueline was so sweet and had a very nice attitude with a smile so big when she came into the room. I am so thankful to GOD that it all worked out and mom was in good hands those 3 weeks. I am so grateful that it was clean and never ever had a bad odor when I entered the door, now thats was the plus for me.

Fantastic experience: I came to Town East Village from the hospital hardly moving. I am better. Your caring staff made the difference. Jacqueline, a CNA on Hall 400. She comes in at 2:00 pm. and Michelle the nurse on hall 400 in the morning. I was in room 405. Everyone that worked on hall 400 treated me wonderful from the housekeeper to the wound care. I loved being there so much that after I returned home I return to Towneast and play Bingo and other activities. My counselor recommended that I come if the staff would allow me. I would refer Towneast to any of my friends and family. Thank you for caring for me. Therapy works. The PT and OT staff are awesome. Thank you. Cora madere

Fantastic experience: So relieved to have my mother here!!! We moved her to Town East Village as the place she was at was . This place is wonderful!!! Management and staff have created a really wonderful loving environment. The place is clean, it's safe, the staff are friendly and caring, the food is great and the management is clearly doing a great job. Medicade facilities are, unfortunately, notorious for being poorly run. This place has been a godsend for my father and I. We can rest well knowing she is being cared for by some wonderful and caring people.

Fantastic experience: What can I say about Town East Village...They will get the job done. What ever situation that a Resident, Family, and Staff has encountered will not be ignored, brushed under a dusty old rug, as a matter of fact, when I came into the building it felt like grandma's house. The smell of something sweet in the oven like she's expecting company. The tv land game show is playing, While excitement enters the room full of respect from family and staff. This grandma's place were the residents live is a blessing to have on board management, family and staffs that puts love, caring, respect, passionate, patience and their time concerning that grandma's is a place to be..what an amazing opportunity of joy it must be to live in a beautiful place like Town East Village....

Fantastic experience: I recently had a family member stay at this facility after being hospitalized for a stroke. I was really blown away by the care and attention they gave my aunt. She was actually a little sad to go home because of the relationships she had built with the staff. Hats off to the Administrator Traneka who runs a great operation there at this facility.

Fantastic experience: This place was clean, smelled good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They took very good care of my mom, the nurses explained what they were doing, and the CNAs were willing to help my mom. I will differently refer them to any of my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: I went here to visit my granny and I was surprise to walk in a building or should I say rehabilitation and healthcare place to see how nice it was and the staff was very helpful. My granny looked good. Her bed was clean and so was she.

Fantastic experience: My mom recieves long term care from Towneast Rehab. After 2 years of not being able to eat with her we are finally able to sit with her and enjoy a meal at her table. I witnessed such a wonderful event as the residents begin to arrive . The staff all stepped in and helped! Simple gestures of kindness and compassion. Opening condiment packages, offering to cut the meat and so on and so on. You can't buy that nor can you fake it ! This wonderful staff CARES ! Their jobs aren't easy and they aren't paid enough. They preserved the dignity of every resident they served and they did it with grace!

Fantastic experience: I've been with towneast for a year now and I absolutely love it even through the hardest times for everyone dealing with covid-19 I've never seen staff pull together as a team and work so hard to make sure our patients are cared for mentally emotionally and physically that's also including the Administrator , Don, Adon, everyone got out on the floor and worked with us when we needed the help. Towneast will definitely make you feel like family and I am so happy to have found a job I can call my second home lol. The residents are my heart they are what makes me strive to be a better caregiver and friend ❤

Fantastic experience: Caring, Skilled Staff. I observed the staff and facility in action everyday for almost two weeks in December. I was impressed with the level of care, patience, and friendliness of the staff. Sure, there were moments during especially busy times, etc that everything wasn't 100% perfect but that is expected anywhere. I visit again in January so I will be able to observe again at that time. ~ J Update - I spent significant time (2+ weeks this time) visiting my father at various times of the day and for many hours at a time. I ate the same food and observed and interacted with most of the caregivers performing their tasks. I was even more impressed this visit. It is obvious they care about the residents/patients. I also watched occupational therapy and physical therapy in action and their firm but encouraging attitude and treatment of their patients is heartwarming. I will continue to update if necessary, but unless I post again, you can just assume that I am still satisfied with the care being provided and the condition of the facility. ~ J Another update - Still a great place. Due to the epidemic, I have not traveled to the facility to see my dad, BUT I have visited with him on ZOOM more than before! The staff (Christy) has video chat set up and is awesome. She helps a bit with communication as well due to speech, noise, or other issues the patient may have. Thank you to Christy and the facility and staff for making this possible! ~J

Fantastic experience: My Father stayed at Town East Rehab back in November of 2018. He loved it so much he did not want to leave. He loved the food so much he took home some of the daily menus so my mother could make the same thing at home. Due to his experience my aunt and uncle were open to going there after a hospital stay. In the past they always avoided going to a skilled nursing facility. They also had a wonderful experience and have gone back just to say hi to the nursing staff. My parents now tell all their friends about it. My ex-husband's grandmother heard about it and chose to move in as a Long Term resident. His family was shocked because she was always set on staying home. The staff is very professional and caring. They made us feel like family. I highly recommend to anyone that may need rehab after a hospital stay or a place to live.

Fantastic experience: I am a nurse with 25 years of experience in long term care. I had the opportunity to visit one of my friend's mom who lived at Town East Rehabilitation and I must say that the moment that I walked into the facilty, I was impressed! The facility had a delightful homelike environment and the staff was very friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: The staff here is very caring. The nurses answer all my questions and make sure they are doing the best for my mom. I would ask mom if she was happy there and she told me yes. Mom would always smile when the cna workers came. I can't thanks them all enough for the awesome care they gave my mother!
