I would highly recommend Willow Bend for any post-acute needs. The therapy department has been great and super helpful. The facility is also finishing up an amazing remodel! Very clean, bright and conforting!

Fantastic experience: My grandfather had knee replacement surgery and received care and treatment at Willowbend. The staff was good, very attentive, and they were able to answer all of our questions. The therapy he received was great and the staff was very approachable and respectful toward my grandfather. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone in need of care! Great place with an awesome staff!

Fantastic experience: I did my rotations here at WillowBend back in August- December, and hands down one of the best experiences I have received! Gus (our DOR) he is awesome, he taught me so well on how to navigate the facility I never felt lost. The speech therapists (Robert, Tibitha, Devyn, and Jill) they were all extraordinary people who helped me so much! I loved Becky so much she was extremely helpful! The faculty and stuff were super nice with the PT, OT departments! I thoroughly enjoyed my rotations here at WillowBend! Everyone is so compassionate and kind, and so willing to help! Ensign company treats their faculty and stuff exceptionally!

Fantastic experience: I am an employee of Willowbend and can honestly say that there has been positive changes made this year to Willowbend. First of all the new staff members. They are kind and very compassionate to all the patients and other staff members. They are willing to go above and beyond to help. Next is the facility, the new head staff members are engaged in updating the site, the patients and visitors are all giving positive feedback. This is a great place to bring your loved ones the atmosphere is positive and caring.

Reasonable productivity standards, large therapy team, mixture of patient caseload including skilled, longterm residents, and outpatient. Higher pay rate compared to other therapy jobs in area. (Reliant, cantex, etc). Have recommended to others looking for full time employment

Fantastic experience: I am an RN who has worked at Willow Bend for almost 4 years now. Willow Bend offers Rehabilitation Therapy and also Long-Term Care housing for the elderly who can no longer live independently. Both divisions of our building exceed general expectations in their specialties. We are always striving to provide individual and creative care for each patient. Some of my patients have become just like family to me❤

I especially like the therapy group, they are on point. They work with our residents well, they are friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I’m forever grateful to Willow Bend Nursing and Rehab because they turn my dream of being in a medical field into reality, they gave a chance and opportunity for me to show what I got and what I’m capable of doing and two years later I’m still here in Willow Bend doing what I love to do helping people because everyday I come to work I always consider it my everyday tribute to my grandparents my everyday way of saying thank you to my grandpa and grandma for passing a legacy to me which is their heart of gold and helping hands to all the people around them which I’m doing up to this day.

Fantastic experience: Willow Bend is a great and fun place for rehab. The therapists are kind, friendly and very thorough. They do an excellent job at making people feel welcomed and are very patient. I have an older friend that goes for rehab after his surgery and he raves to me about the care he receives and shared that they start on time and end on time for his ride to arrive. The therapy gym is jammin' with music and the therapists keep the place hopping

Fantastic experience: Awesome nursing home in Mesquite!!! The rehab residents get great therapy and go home QUICK!! And come back the next time they need us. Long term care residents stay busy and love arts and crafts. I've worked there more than 5 years and love it. I'll stay until I move in (I have my room picked out already).

Fantastic experience: My family had a great experience at Willowbend. While it is easy to be critical of anyone caring for a beloved family member. The majority of the staff, truly went out of their way to address any concerns or issues that we had. The caregivers made sure the room was a clean and comfortable daily. Nursing staff made sure that we understood everything that was going on with prescribed medicines, therapies and transport to any doctors visits. Administrative staff made sure that anything that we needed we got. It’s a scary thing to leave someone alone while they are going threw any lengthy nursing home stay and we were very pleased with Willowbend’s facility and staff. There are areas that need improving. Like specialized evening activities and/or therapies, more backup staff and a broader meal menu. But all in all it was a pleasant experience. Thanks again!

Trying to meet the expectations of family members is hard when their loved one is sick or they cant care for them any longer and have to place them somewhere. It is a lovely place and is much better than the reviews i have read. I would have no issues with my family there at anytime.

Fantastic experience: No question, Willowbend is the best rehab and nursing care in the Mesquite, TX area. I've been there dozens of times and have had many interactions with the administrator, the director of nursing, and the director of rehab - all have been helpful and kind. I like it when staff know how to balance having a sense of humor and still treating people with respect at the same time - I see that at Willowbend. Send your loved one there to get a better recovery so they can return home and stay there.

Fantastic experience: This was my second time to be at Willowbend Rehabilitation Center - in Aug - Sept of 2015 and again in July - Aug of 2019. Both times I received great care from the office staff - the nursing staff - the therapy staff - and the personal aid/houskeeping staff. I had some of the same personnel from each of these groups both times I was here. It was good to get re-acquainted with them for they were all very attentive and caring for my particular needs. The rehab was very beneficial. This time was during a remodeling period and it caused some inconvenience for all the staff and for the residents of the lodge but all worked to make my stay enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: An absolutely wonderful place for rehab. My stay there was like being on vacation. The staff in the lodge is most friendly and caring. After my hip replacement surgery, therapists Stan & Jennifer had me on my feet w/o support in just two weeks. Both are caring individuals and a pleasure. Rey, the forever smiling therapy manager, is truly a patient caring person. Becky was constantly there to make sure that all was ok. I highly recommend Willowbend.
