Negative experience: I would not recommend christian care for any kind of rehab!! I had my mom here couple of years ago. She got so bad it was better to take her home. They didn't take good care of her...she was so backed up and though I kept alerting the nursing staff they refused to do anything. We finally took her home and she got better at home! And now I come here as part of my job and I see the empathy and laziness of most of the staff. I really wish they would take christian out of their name! Negative experience: They waited until after 5 on a Friday evening to call my 94 year old father to tell him they were kicking my mother out of CCC. The nursing aid called, the office people had all gone home.

Negative experience: My father broke his hip and we placed him at this facility for rehab. It was awful! They never oriented him when he arrived. I had to ask what he was supposed to do if he needed something. They then got the button he was supposed to push (It was where he couldn’t see or reach it.). They told me that it usually takes 20 minutes for someone to respond. This is crazy to me. He couldn’t get up. What if there was an emergency? After days of him laying in bed, my brother had to call a meeting because he was not getting physical therapy. They told us that they would get him up and place him in his wheelchair to eat. It wasn’t happening and when I asked they told me that it was my father’s responsibility to push the button and let them know when he received his tray of food. My father is 86 and has short term memory issues. He couldn’t remember to push the button. We had a terrible experience. There is so much more but I don’t have the time to list everything. We moved him somewhere else and he was worse than when he left Christian Care than when he first arrived. By the way, my dad is a kind and very easy going person with a positive outlook. He was beyond depressed when he left this facility.

Negative experience: My father has been in CC twice now. First time was a couple years ago and it was a really good experience. His stay the second time from July - Sept 2023 was very disappointing. He was supposed to get rehab but basically was left in urine soaked diapers in the bed most of his stay. I was told he couldn't walk but 2 days in another facility proved that wrong. I don't normally take to sites like this to put negative comments because I usually try to see the positive but phone calls have not been answered nor have emails. I have always thought this facility was one of the best but it doesn't live up to that any longer. I hope management takes a close look at how patients are treated and how families are dealt with when they have questions or concerns.

Fantastic experience: My uncle was recently at this facility and his care was awesome. I read the reviews and was so very nervous but then we took a tour and the reviews did not do any justice. This was the best decision we had made. Thank you so very much for your support and the care that you provided my uncle. The therapy department was spot on and the nurses were great. During my uncle stay the nurses assisted with teaching me how to care for my uncle and what to watch out for. I really appreciate the nurses.

Negative experience: My father was put into this facility for rehabilitation following a fall which fractured his pelvis. Within the first 24 hours we were notified that he had fallen out of his bed. We had him seen in the emergency room to ensure his injury wasn’t aggravated and that no additional injuries occurred. The following night he was left for a lengthy time in a soiled diaper. When he inquired on assistance his assigned nurse or whatever you would call her, said to him, what are we not quick enough for you and called him a racist. This behavior is disgusting and absurd. Christian should not even be in the name of this facility. Some employees encountered were unsympathetic, lazy, non-caring, and evil. When my mother and wife arrived the following morning they had to complain staff because again my fathers’s diaper and bed were soiled. That very night he was sent to the emergency room for COVID. They gave him a sedative which he does not take and even requested not too. Thank God we aware able to arrange care through a different facility and company. Please don’t allow your loved ones to be placed in this facility, it’s not safe.

Fantastic experience: My aunt was in rehab here for 6 months and the level of customer service and care we received at this facility is unmatched. The nurses are very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions thoroughly. I would highly recommend Christian Carr Nursing & Rehab to any family or friends in the future.

Negative experience: IF I could give 0 STARS, I would. Please don't trust them with your family member. My mom was in the rehab area and was treated very poorly and talked to very rudely by staff. We had to file a formal investigation, put cameras in her room and two people was let go. My mom has been transferred to a better facility.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE TO SENIORS!! It's been 18 months since my worst day in my life. I finally have the strength after Mother's Day to write a review. Unfortunately we picked this place for a 20 day rehabilitation july 2020 for my beloved Mom. I called, spoke to administrator who sold me on this place.. time of urgency from hospital... well sadly I proceeded.. Mom called me the first night 2x's, shared not comfortable, a little noisy, not great were her words..I didn't pick up the translation of get me out.. well next day Doctor visit, full recovery expected- send her prescription list- given to admittance already- concerning, Mom called again not comfortable with their exam, but I guess this is what they do, translation missed again, I want out..not being able to visit her per CC, third day, call in morning I'm not well, please share with staff, call at 6:30, not well do they have my prescription list, yes.. I love you were my last words as I got off the phone.. didn't know it then.. later a call from CC, got some bad news, Mom in cardiac arrest- not clear what exactly happened, couple of stories from people- Hospital shared that they took her to, pneumonia- what ? didn't have that going in, I requested an outside Doc to get the report he said Cardiogenic shock... my problem is the top folks here became quiet, once I started requesting info/reports...another senior just gone is how they appeared to be, it was my MOM! more pain when a week later the head Physical Therapist called me and wanted to talk about Mom's therapy plan! YEP, I said are you for real, she passed a week ago there! oh I was on vacation.....the last days of my wonderful Mom's life were here, shame on me......DON'T FALL FOR THE GOLF COURSE VIEW AND YOUR LOVE ONE WILL SEE YOU...

Negative experience: Don’t take your loved ones to this facility they are not caring and will take your money and not give it back . Also they would not give my mother her discharge papers back she was here less than and hour and we took her right out. I would not send my dog to stay here. Worse experience ever. Zero stars ⭐️ but you have to put one to get on the review scam!

Positive experience: I was a patient in the rehab wing after a heart attack with complications. The nurses were competent and caring. I felt some of the aides needed more training, but they were kind and attentive. Most were outstanding! I was there for a month. The food was fine, but my daughter smuggled in fast food occasionally! I had a gorgeous view of the golf course.

Negative experience: Do not put your family members here they do not care. They are very inconsiderate, and careless, your family members will come out worse. Trust me.

Negative experience: We did not have a positive experience here with our loved ones, mother and stepfather. If your are in the white high rise, you will get preferential treatment, if you are in the cottages they will take your $$ and let you live there but very little maintenance or caring.
