Nikki, the Activities Director, is a standout with her engaging and thoughtful approach to activities that cater to a wide range of interests, helping to keep residents active and connected. Laura, the Social Worker, is compassionate and attentive, always advocating for residents' emotional and social well-being. Both Nikki and Laura go above and beyond to ensure that the residents feel cared for and valued, making Palomino Place a nurturing place for those in need of nursing care.

Fantastic experience: Palomino Placeis a nice place for your love one to be at. The staff is nice. They have lots of activities for their residents to do. They even go on trips that sometimes them out of the DFW area so they can have fun away from the facility that provides them with extra enjoyment. The Lifestyle Director, Nikki Burt is great. She always plans lots of activities for the residents. The have all sorts of special occasions that she plans activities. She goes above and beyond to make sure that the residents have fun and enjoy the special occasion.

Fantastic experience: I was a volunteer at palomino place and the staff was so kind and the residents as well. This was a great experience the lifestyle director and receptionist were the main reason why my experience was so great, it was lovely getting to volunteer, if your looking to volunteer I’d recommend to help out here, it brings great volunteer experience and connections as well, this also helps give an insight to a side of healthcare we usually forget about.

Fantastic experience: As a coffee vendor, known as Coffeeman, I cannot say enough good things about Palomino Place. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with warmth and compassion. The staff here is exceptional—professional, caring, and always attentive to the needs of the residents. It’s clear that they go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and supportive environment. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained.

Fantastic experience: Let me give praise where praise is due . The activity director here at Palomino is awesome her name is Nikki . I’ve seen her interact with the residents the passion and patience she displays is amazing. I have asked to include my family and she’s made sure as much as possible that she’s in attendance. I’ve never seen her without a smile. So I say keep up the good work Nikki you are appreciated!

Fantastic experience: Activities are wonderful at this facility. Nikki Burt goes out of her way to make sure the residents have a great time daily. They have the best nurses and staff. Melinda Nephew is so friendly and makes sure the residents feel like they are home. Would recommend this facility to anyone wanting their family to feel loved.

With THE EXCEPTION OF DIESEL FROM WEST AFRICA HE HAS NO BUSINESS WORKING WITH PEOPLE LIKE ME. HE IS HORRIBLE WITH THE PATIENCE. NOT PROFESSIONAL, NOT CARING, HE TREAT THE PATIENCES LIKE TRASH. I WAS ONE OF HIS PATIENCE. THIS MAN IS A JOKE, N A LIAR, JUST WRONG FOR A PLACE LIKE PALOMINO PLACE REHABILITATION FACILITY WHICH IS AN AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO RECOVER. THANK YOU, MS. Fantastic experience: I visited Palomino Place not very long ago and I just wanted to say that Nikki (Activities) is so wonderful with the patients. She treats each one like they are the most special person in the room! She brings such joy to each of them, as well as them with her! All smiles all around! It truly is a beautiful sight to see!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love Palomino Place and their staff! My grandmother was placed in their care. The human resource coordinator was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, sweet, and awesome! I feel at ease knowing that my grandmother is being taken care of.

Fantastic experience: I was skeptical about placing my dad in a facility but this place changed my whole perspective once he admitted. The staff was great and the therapy was even greater. My dad is home now & on his way back to his normal routines around the house. My dad ( as well as my mom & myself ) thank you all for the great care ❤

Fantastic experience: I had a family member stayed here at this place for a while. The nurses and staff were very communicative with us. He was always happy getting treated right. Everytime he needed to take his medication at proper time the nurses will always be helpful to him. Including the administrative team were always helpful and very communicative. If yall are looking for a good environmental place for your love ones this is place to go to have your loved one here.

Fantastic experience: Palomino place in bodies the word Family. We all know that family is not perfect but what family is a solid foundation , love , respect and accountability. This is PALOMINO PLACE from the door to the floor. Let’s start with our ED Father Time our leader with 24 years with cantex. He leads like a Good father would. Fair and with iron hand. Listening and getting things done behind the scenes juggling all things financial. Along with being on the floor assisting the team anyway possible that’s JEFF HILBURN. Then the HEARTS ❤️ of Gold staff, Dale in the kitchen with cooks that hands are touched by God that’s Miss CJ she is amazing it’s like your grandma cooked for you. Then Chris B. If it’s broken or needs repaired he is your man. Roxanne runs her unit and interacts with both family and staff with grace and class. So many nurses that it’s hard to mention them all but here are a few. CHRIS he works hard and bends backwards to do his best for your family. Then there is musu and IJ they are the quiet storm but will go out their way to help. Jackson always has a smile and is a gently giant. Now the CNA THAT HOLD OUR BUILDING DOWN!!!!! That’s Erica m Jackie P, Renee B, Gracie, Justin, and Shatoya. It’s so many people that make this family a great and a wonderful home for your loved ones and a great place to work. I leave you with one of to me the greatest compliments of my 30 years in the business. When I was with a surveyor and she said this about Palomino place. “She said she liked coming here because our staff was genuinely pleasant” that says a lot. We may not be perfect as no family is however we strive daily for excellence in ourselves and in our building. Great job TEAM!!!!!!!!!! <

Fantastic experience: Ive been here about a week and a few days at this rehab. I love it here. The staff is really great. Thank you for being a place to help get you back in your home taking care of yourself. I have more days to be here and looking forward for the care of Palomino staff. I chose this place because of the name palimino which reminds me of horses and their legs. Thats what Im working on. My husband also decided on this place also. Ive come home from this facilty and has been grateful to each one of the staff. My family loved it to. My daughter called it boujie. She wanted to cone move in with me at that time To me I rate this place a 5 for me. Atmosphere beautiful. The therapy department is great. They take time with you. Im going to miss this place but they got me ready to adjust to going home. The nurses and staff jumped in to help each other to be there for the clients. I would pick this place if I was you.

Nikki is awesome always had a great time in activities, the resident council president D'anna is amazing! It was an overall enjoyment, can't wait to come back permanently!

Fantastic experience: My grandmother really loves this place. Very clean. friendly and attentive. There is a Spanish speaking attendant, Kimberly I think is her name. My grandmother loves her. She goes above and beyond along with a few other people whose name I don't know. They are Spanish speaking. Very happy she has people she trust and enjoys seeing.

Transportation services are provided with care, residents are always happy with Yvonne who goes above and beyond on every outing in the community to bring smiles and joy to the residents! The Social Services Director Laura is amazing! She is always going above and beyond for customer satisfaction as well as providing comfort with support to residents as well as families. Kudos to the Therapy team they always go out of their way for quality of care! Nursing who always supports the residents, families, and staff!! Shaunda and Ramon from nursing services are really awesome, they help restore vitality and mobility! The wellness Wednesday class rocks! There is always a wide variety of activity programs and exercises offered daily with a lot of happy residents!!! Joji and Shabetha in the Admissions are always going out of her way going above and beyond for complete customer satisfaction!!! She follows up with all of the patients and families to ensure quality services are being provided! This is all being lead by an awesome Administrator Jeff that has a successful Administration Team!!! The Therapy Team is AMAZING!! Truly this team has HEART!! KUDOS to Palomino Place Team!!! Fantastic experience: Hi my name is Roxanna and I am one of the nurse managers. Palomino is an awesome place to work. Our ED Jeff Hilburn is amazing. Since he has been there things have definitely changed for the better. PCC nurse Victoria is caring, loving, and compassionate. She pushes everyone around her to think outside of the box. She is amazingly helpful and hands on. Miss CJ cooks with her heart and her food is wonderful. CNAS Erica, Justin, Jackie P, and Shatoya are great. They go over and beyond to take great care of our residents. The building is clean and beautiful. Great place to work.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to work. I am Dale Carter and I am the Dietary Department Director. We in Dietary take great care to be sure the residents have the kind of food they like. The ED Jeff Hilburn is a fun guy to work with, He knows his business. But I would definitely like to shout out to Nikkie the Life Style Director. She really goes above and beyond to keep our residents engaged in life.

Fantastic experience: Best place I've had my daddy in. Great communication and weekly updates. Four months and hardly any complaints from him, only that he would rather be at home with us. :-( But he needs 24/7 medical attention as he has minimal mobility. I would also like to say thank you to the staff. ... for keeping my daddy and the family safe. Thank you for our weekly Covid updates and for your sanitary cleanliness.

Fantastic experience: My husband spent several respite times here. I was very satisfied with the care he received there. He went several times from 2017-2021 from 5 to 12 days at a time and his stays were great except on one visit, one weekend nurse gave me the wrong medication to bring home. Well, being a retired educator, I know that “Reading is Fundamental” so before administering those I read the label which did not have his name on it. I called the office, to my regret, ALL of the people on that shift were fired. But beside that incident all went well. Although my husband was there, I was still vigilant over his care. It’s a nursing home and not a hotel. If I could not be there during his stays I always made sure someone went to visit him and feed him at least one meal a day. Oh, Respits Time is to give the caregiver a break from their duties when the patient lives at home. Bottom line I give Palamino five stars. The best of four others that were under the same umbrella.

Fantastic experience: This is a very nice place. And it's been the best place my dad has been at. The nurses and staff have been very communicative with us throughout his stay. He's always bathed and clean when I've visited. We're looking at long term. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed with this senior care facility! It is so beautiful! Like a hotel! Very clean, smells good. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It is hard to think about leaving my family member in a facility. Most people don't want to visit their loved ones at nursing homes. But this place... I have no concerns and it is a pleasure visiting them when it is comfortable for both patients and guests. I highly recommend Palomino Place!

Fantastic experience: My uncle came to Palomino for skilled nursing. He was on IVABT for 3 weeks. During his stay, the nursing staff were very attentive. They administered his medication on time and kept a close eye on him. Therapy was always great. The OT and PT worked one on one with him and got him stable enough to go back home. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for rehab care!

Fantastic experience: I brought my loved one to this facility expecting adequate nursing care and therapy. Much to my surprise, the facility treated my mom more like family than they did a patient. The nursing team monitored her closely and the therapy dept got her back up on her feet. Joji in community relations helped make the process super smooth and we got mom back home in a matter of 3 1/2 weeks. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing rehabilitation.
