Cheyenne Medical Lodge

Fantastic experience: My Grandmother has been in the care of Cheyenne for the last year. As with any places, there have been hiccups, but when it has been brought to attention it was fixed quickly. The staff has always been respectful, they have all cared and loved my grandmother like they would love their own family. I have never had to worry if she was being cared for or safe. the facility is always clean, and there has never been odd or bad smells as you find in some facilities. I have heard that the food is pretty good. All in all, I am so thankful for this place. Putting her into care was not an easy decision. Cheyenne has made this extremely difficult time in our lives a little easier.

Fantastic experience: My dad was in rehab at Cheyenne Medical Lodge. He had excellent care from the beginning. Marsha gave us a tour and helped us with the admission process. I was very pleased with the care he received from the all of the staff. They stopped to listen to his stories and were encouraging. Shelia and Sharon were always welcoming when I entered to visit with dad. Kimberly, Francisco, Erin, Andi and ALL of the other members of the rehab team were outstanding. Thank you to Aletha for helping us get the care of a needed podiatrist. I highly recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: My experience was above my expectations. Most of the staff is very kind, caring, and empathetic. The place is kept clean and it is well managed. Physical Therapy and client activities were the best part of my day.

Fantastic experience: When I was brought here a little over a month ago, I didnknow about ever walking again ha help of even trying to walk. The staff Here have been very attentive to my needsTheyall go beyond the call of duty,They genuinely care because of what they have accomplished in me they’ve convinced me that I will walk again nd they’ve been very gentle but I want specifically mentioned Isi who has not only encourage me to walk, but if taught me how to transfer from my bed to the toilet and her hands on guidance, but her firm directional what I can be doing has convinced me that I’m gonna be just fine when I go home she is gone. She is helping me probably more than anybody else there and the relationship I have with her is is something that I will cherish from from the time I walk back in here and greet her thank you so much for miss Isi and I also want to mention Francisco;He is more got me up each day and we walked a little bit further on the walker and because of his guidance both individuals are very lucky to have both of them and especially Miss Isi, but thank you again for what you’ve done for me and I have hope now and I will go and I will learn to walk, and I will walk back in here without a walker and come back in and personally think those two individuals thank you again firm about my care and direction of what I should be doing, I am indeed grateful for the entire staff l,volunteers the food medicine overall care I’ve learned so much that I will go home and I will reproduce the way my medicine and the way I feed myself. They have taken better care of me and I have the last 20 years, I would highly recommend if you have family members and loved ones this place to help them try to make things normally getting in their life sincerely David Scott at21453399907!

Fantastic experience: Coming to Cheyenne Medical Lodge was a second opportunity to gain my health again after a terrible Pancreatitis condition that left me hospitalized for a long 9 months. Before coming to Cheyenne I went to a diffrent SNF where I had several set backs and had to be sent to ER on two ocassions within one week. My wife Irma was able to find Cheyenne and I'm so blessed with all the caring personnel that went the extra-mile on my recuperation and finnaly I'm close to going back home to enjoy my beautififul family again. I thank God for Cheyenne Medical Lodge!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this facility. Each department has been so helpful. I especially appreciate the therapy department, Fran and Erin. Stephanie in activities has been bringing me treats and keeping me company. My nurses Channing and Olivia have gone above and beyond.

Negative experience: They are very rude and very unprofessional my mother and grandmother been there for couple months and this lady grab my grandmother around her neck and throw her in chair she very old and for them treat her like is very unprofessional I pray to god that state will come and second all with my mother they have not been feeding her or changing her not giving my mother a bath I don’t like this place how they treating my family …………….

Fantastic experience: My PT Fran, I call "the doctor" because he is so good, everyone in the therapy department was so good.

Positive experience: Cheyenne has an excellent therapy program. We rate that part of the service 5 stars. The Family has noticed vast improvements in our 92 years old Mother. The venue needs improvement in regards to C&A employment. Perhaps with dedicated support and training, the quality of patient care would improve. The Administrative Team, Social Worker, LVN for hallway, Food Service are great.

Fantastic experience: I am very happy to share my experience with this facility. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the building. I would highly recommend Cheyenne Medical Lodge. I did not find one employee that didn’t care for the patients needs. They were very nice and friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back if I needed therapy. I would like to thank my therapists, medical personnel and the rest of the personnel that made my stay delightful.

Fantastic experience: Well it was time for a visit to Cheyenne to be well taken care of for awhile. This is 4th or 5th time ive been here and ive found that the care and the services were not the same...they were was better.

Fantastic experience: An Absolutely Amazing, Thoughtful, Professional and most of all Caring Staff!! My Dad Aaron J. was sad and upset at how he was treated at an unnamed nursing home in mesquite... And then the Blessing came!! Denise Davis worked diligently outside of her business hours to make our family HAPPY! From T, Tameka, Lynette and the nice gentleman that mops the kitchen, to the driver that takes Dad to dialysis and EVERY SMILING NURSE ... Take my word and place your loved ones at Cheyenne Medical Lodge. I can not express the love that this staff provides. The cleanliness, the building, the parking lot.... I can not put into words how Amazing this upscale Nursing has Blessed US! Second I want to say thanks to the awesome staff that always made me feel welcome like Ms. Johnson at the front desk Ms. Marsha and the Social Worker. To anyone that needs to bring your love ones to a place for Rehabilitation you should considered this place because this place is great.

Fantastic experience: We used this facility for a respite care for my mom. She was there for about 20 days. We're very thankful for all the staff members from the start thru the end of the stay. It was all a smooth process. Her words when leaving was that everyone was very nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to respond to Lisa and Leslie and express my deepest condolences and sorrow for the loss of their grandmother. We cared deeply for her and your family. As the owner of the hospice company working in partnership with your grandmothers care, I am deeply saddened by your experience and would never want that to happen again or to anyone. I cant speak to all the comments made but I do want your family to know how sorry I am and wish this didn't happen. I remember the day quite well as it was during the ice storm and we had some real issues with staffing due to the dangerous conditions and major delays in travel. There was a miscommunication on who was calling about your grandmothers passing and regardless of the situation we should of made sure your family knew about it and we were on our way with expected delays. We never intended to cause you pain in any way no matter what the conditions of the day were. That is something we have addressed with our staff and partners so this never happens again during inclement weather. I truly do apologize.to you and your family.

Fantastic experience: My dad was recently a resident of the Cheyenne Medical Lodge. He had been in a different nursing home earlier this year and that nursing home was awful. We weren't sure what to expect at Cheyenne Medical Lodge, but the reviews and recommendations we received were great. We were not disappointed. The staff was amazing. Mona and Victoria were so compassionate and caring. When you first walk in, you get the feeling that you're walking in to an expensive hotel. It was very nice. There were nurses and aides bustling around, which was really nice to see. At the former home my dad was in, we rarely even saw a nurse or an aide so knowing that the floor had lots of activity with nurses and aides made us feel more comfortable. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: ***UPDATE February 2022*** My husband had to have a hospital stay and the doctors suggested skilled nursing rehab again. There was no other decision but to go back to Cheyenne for us! They did not disappoint. My husband has not had an appetite for months and had really declined in his strength. While at Cheyenne he started eating & said it was some of the best food he’d had and the therapy team was outstanding and got him back to his baseline and able to get back home. We are so thankful to know we have Cheyenne as an option when and if we ever need skilled nursing in the future. The staff was attentive and we are very appreciative. Following a brain bleed and a hospital stay, my husband was transferred to Cheyenne for rehab. The entire staff was kind and so efficient which was so comforting to someone in our position (shock at the sudden change in our life). Not only were the nurses and aides knowledgeable about how to care for my husband, the therapists were so patient with him each session. They accommodated all of his needs and if we ever have to use a rehab for skilled nursing again, we will use Cheyenne. The on staff physician was so good we chose to switch to her for our PCP.

Fantastic experience: I want to extend my deepest thanks to the entire Physical Therapy Department, the cron jewel at Cheyenne Medical Lodge. Reagan, Francisco, Andie, Gipsy, Kimberly, Erin, and Raquel, are all not only outstanding professionals in their field but genuinely caring individuals to all residents, making us feel special. I will never forget their support during the different times I’ve stayed here. Also, thanks to the unsung heroes, the CNAs who work diligently, sometimes in difficult situations. Special thanks to TIAshea Simms, Abigail Arellano, Briana, Maya, Talicia, Theressia, and Robin, and to Misha Womack. And to finish, I’d like to extend thanks to Michelle Fox, Tina, Shelia Johnson, Tricia, Norma, Aletha, and Lauren. To Keith Boalter, thank you so much for your spirit of service, and leadership in action. I will always remember your acts of kindness when I first came here, after my open heart valve replacement. Fantastic experience: You want your loved ones here!! We tried so many facilities in the area for my mother.. If you want your loved one to be in a place to keep living this is it. She was nearly killed 3 times at different facilities. My mother felt like she had been given a death sentence until coming to Cheyenne. I can’t say enough about Tameka. You can tell she sincerely cares about her patients. There are many more and the list is so long of those to thank.

Fantastic experience: My father in law was recently at Cheyenne after a hospital stay following some setbacks at home. This was his second time there. He was not able to even stand up at home, but Regan and the therapy department were great and got him back to a point he could transfer and even walk with a walker. He’s now been there twice and if we need a nursing facility again, it will be Cheyenne.

Fantastic experience: We moved our mom here a couple a months ago from a horrible place. So far we are very pleased. Everyone has been so helpful and nice and Aletha went out of her way to help us and see that our mom got the proper care. So glad we found this place.

Negative experience: Check this facility’s score with the state of Texas. It is not good. It looks nice and it is clean. The nursing staff is good but there are many many problems with Administrative staff. They lied to me and about me After I finally figured out how to file complete state and I had a ton of problems, particularly right before my mother passed. I don’t have time to detail the incredible number of problems that weren’t solved, and I was only expecting reasonable care, not special care for my mother. RE: Response from CML: "not sure what (my) specific concerns were" - Really. It also doesn't matter how long it took me to write this. Who is Keith? Kyle Bost was in charge when my mother died.

Fantastic experience: Cheyenne Medical Lodge is the place to be. I work in Hospice and finding good facility’s with great staff that serve our patients well can be difficult at times. This building and their staff are the best! They are well staffed and the facility is always clean. If you have a loved one needing rehab or long term care, please visit them. ♥️

Fantastic experience: My dad got a lung infection and was in the hospital due to that when he just fell apart. He went to Cheyenne Medical Lodge when he left the hospital to get rehab to get his strength back. They were so caring and so good with him! Our family is very grateful for what the staff did for him. Very nice place!!

Fantastic experience: Cheyenne Medical Lodge is an outstanding Long Term Care facility and rehabilitation for patients in need of therapy services and rehab. They're nursing team provides excellent care for your loved one in their time of need. Denise their Marketer and Tina in Admissions provide excellent knowledge on helping the families get the best information when dealing with difficulty in placing your loved one. Fantastic experience: The rehab team at Cheyenne Medical Lodge is amazing they are good at what they do, believe that they will work and to get you back to where you need to be in order for you to go home. I did learn on thing... don't ask how many exercises you have left because you just might get a couple more added on. The entire team is amazing. I hate to leave them but when I complete my rehab I'm out. I have nothing but love and respect for the entire rehab team including Erin, Kimberly, Jipsy, Regan, Raquel, Andie and FRAN!

Fantastic experience: We are very pleased with this facility. Nursing homes have been a challenge for us over the past five years. We have had to move several times for various reasons but the most important is the lack of care and concern for our mother. Cheyenne has gone out of their way to make us, the family, just as comfortable as mom. She has made many friends with the staff here. The team has worked along side me with her medications ensuring she has the right thing at the right time. She came in being told that she would never walk. Guess what. She’s up on a walker. From the cleaning staff to the CNA’s to the MED Techs to the nurses, doctors, and the administrators…..Thank You. We are blessed to have found you.

Fantastic experience: I may be a little biased seeing as how I work here. This facility is the nicest I have ever seen for the type of care provided. No expense was spared in setting this place up. From the equipment to the artwork and fresh flowers, everything is top shelf. The best of the best. That goes for the people as well. Freshly staffed with highly qualified and skilled people. I do believe there will be a line of people wanting to get in!
