Negative experience: Buenas tardes nuevamente, en realidad no comprendo por qué el personal de este instituto principalmente la empleada Wilda Medina del staff repetidas veces le he explicado que el dr Gualberto Padilla (excelente médico) que me trató en el 2021, me ordenó un estudio de conducción de nervios (EMG/NCV), el cual no está cubierto por mi seguro a menos que el dr indique con una nota que diga que es medicamente necesario y enviárselo al seguro Florida Blue para que el depto de autorizaciones lo evalúe y determinen sin pueden pagarlo. Algo tan sencillo como eso no implica algo que esté fuera de sus posibilidades. El que sufre las consecuencias es el paciente en este caso este servidor. Muchas veces he llamado en estos días al número de teléfono de este instituto y solo responde el menú de voz grabada y dicen que le devolverán la llamada lo antes posible y siempre estoy esperando y no la regresan. Lamentablemente es tedioso el tener que pasar por estas situaciones cuando la salud de los pacientes debe ser la prioridad y por simples papeleos o procesos burocráticos se demoren en asumir su responsabilidad con los pacientes como este servidor. Después describen a uno como que somos un problema. Lo pensé mucho para dejar y/o expresar esta inconveniencia que me provoca el aumento de mis niveles de ansiedad que yo también padezco. Quiero recalcar que el dr Oquendo es un excelente médico y quiere ayudar a sus pacientes pero a veces el staff no obra con la verdadera causa, servir a los pacientes. Por favor tomen nota. Gracias Good afternoon again, I really don't understand why the staff of this institute, mainly the employee Wilda Medina of the staff, have repeatedly explained that Dr. Gualberto Padilla (an excellent doctor) who treated me in 2021, ordered me a driving study. (EMG/NCV), which is not covered by my insurance unless the doctor indicates with a note that it is medically necessary and send it to Florida Blue insurance so that the authorization department evaluates it and determines if they can pay for it. Something as simple as that does not imply something that is beyond your capabilities. The one who suffers the consequences is the patient, in this case this server. Many times these days I have called the phone number of this institute and only the recorded voice menu answers and they say they will call you back as soon as possible and I am always waiting and they do not return it. Unfortunately, it is tedious to have to go through these situations when the health of the patients must be the priority and due to simple paperwork or bureaucratic processes they delay in assuming their responsibility with patients like this server. Then they describe us as if we are a problem. I thought a lot about leaving and/or expressing this inconvenience caused by the increase in my anxiety levels, which I also suffer from. I want to emphasize that Dr Oquendo is an excellent doctor and he wants to help his patients but sometimes the staff does not act with the true cause, serving the patients. Please take Notes. Es increíble que son tan prestos para enviar avisos de cobro y aún muy altos cuando mi 1ra visita fue autorizada por mi seguro y me envían una factura por 105.00 cuando realmente era de $35.00 para cubrir el co-pago de la visita. Me quedé perplejo, por favor pacientes tengan en mente que también el depto de facturación no ejecuta bien los copagos. Esto era un detalle que quería compartir.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Correa-Perez took my daughter into her practice when she was 13 years old. My daughter was on over 400 mg of morphine daily and had no quality of life. She is now 23 and thanks to Dr. Correa-Perez working so hard she is on medication to control her pain AND have a happy, healthy and quality life!!! I highly recommend PhysiMed!!!!

Fantastic experience: Quisiera compartir con ustedes mi experiencia la cual no ha sido fácil para mí y para mi familia , mi esposo lleva más de 8 meses padeciendo de unos dolores irresistible en la espalda apenas puede caminar ni mantenerse mucho tiempo parado ni acostado en una misma posición , hemos estado llendo a varios terapeutas y nada ,cuando nos recomendaron a la doctora correa fuimos de inmediato a su oficina y al llegar nuestra primera impresión fue el trato tan especial de las muchachas de la recepción , es un lugar grande con 2 salas de espera muy acogedor el lugar súper limpio y organizado la oficina bien limpia mi esposo tuvo que ir al baño y pensábamos que iba ser un problema pasar con la silla de ruedas y no fue así al contrario es un baño espacioso , cómodo y súper limpio no tuvimos que esperar ni 10 minutos para que nos atendieran , de verdad este sitio no parecía una clínica como las que hemos estado llendo en todo este tiempo , no sé si sería los lugares a que íbamos o mala suerte con respecto a la doctora correa fue su trato ver cómo ella se toma su tiempo con los pacientes mi esposo es súper majadero y le preguntaba una y otra ves no solo sus dudas sino también lo mismo y lo mismo que la doctora ya le había explicado y en ningún momento nos puso mala cara ni nos trató mal al contrario con mucha paciencia y cariño . Siempre se tomó su tiempo hasta que nos explico todas nuestras dudas en fin ha sido la única doctora que vimos mejoría en menos de 1 mes de tratamiento les digo de corazón la Doctora Correa si sabe hacer su trabajo , tiene mucha experiencia en lo que hace se puede decir que es una Eminencia.

Positive experience: Friendly people. I was in a great deal of pain today, worse than usual and the staff was very understanding. This place is clean, the restroom big enough to accommodate those in power chairs. The only downside is that the parking lot entry is practically at the corner of the intersection and that can be a bit trickier than normal.

I would complain about the amount of time I had to wait- because it was long- but when she spent so much time with me I understood.

Fantastic experience: This is a 5* Dr! Dr. Corea-Perez is hands down thee best Doctor in Orlando. I have never had a doctor, that took the time to sit down with me and look up the dosage of a diet pill, that I had wanted to be on. I had 4 different bottles, 1 being a caffeine type the other being my new diet pills. She took the time to look up each mg of different ingredients in each bottle, because each one, told me to take it differently and at complete different doses. I found out a lot today about the risks and how to take all of my pills the right way, so that I didn't have to waste any. It wasn't just this visit that makes her this amazing Doctor... She has improved my entire life, by giving me great referrals and teaching me about my back problem, threwout my time as her patient. Plus when I had a bad day, I was able to get in to see her right away... Her staff are top notch too! You can tell that every person there cares about you. I never thought I would look forward to my Doctors appointments, but they make you feel so welcome and taken care of there. Thanks be to God for Dr.Corea-Perez and the help that she has given to me, time and time again.

Fantastic experience: Well I have only had one visit so far. But that first visit was great he was so very nice and he treated me like an individual and not so much as a patient that was so important to me. Because I have visited a few pain clinics around Orlando area and the staff was not very friendly, it made me feel extremely uncomfortable and overwhelmed because it is my first time visiting a pain specialist so it was very overwhelming. But the visit I had with the doctor and the staff it was very much appreciated because the doctor listened to me and he educated me on a few things that I didn't know of so that was great. But in a couple of months I will probably giving update because it is my first visit so I hope things continue to go just like the first visit without a problem and without any complications.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at PhysMedi Institute for the past 8yrs under the care of Dr. Gualberto Oquendo for pain management due to a chronic incurable disease and he's the absolute best. If you're looking for a Dr the doesn't cut corners, over prescribe medication, knowledgeable and TRULY CARES about his patients, then Physical Medicine Institute is where you need to go. What I also love is that your set appointment time is honored. You're not sitting in a waiting room half hr or hours past your appointment time waiting to go in and see him. The office is always super clean and the staff is very pleasant. Give them a visit - you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Always receive caring and knowledgeable service from all the staff and medical personnel. Dr. Correa-Perez spends as much time as needed to review complex issues and understands multidisciplinary scenarios for whole health improvement. Dr. Correa-Perez was the first physician to recognize a serious cardiovascular problem and refer me to my cardiologist.

Negative experience: It is absolutely impossible to communicate with this medical practice. They want to communicate via text rather than by phone. No one has EVER answered the phone and the voice mail is full 100% of the time. The inability to communicate with anyone is a serious health risk to any patient. If you have any interest in having communication with your physician stay well clear of this place.

Negative experience: I am highly dissatisfied with this medical provider. IF you need to actually TALK to someone on the phone - good luck. Everything is automated, and they prefer to text you, unfortunately this form of communication is not conducive if it’s an issue that needs IMMEDIATE action (which is what I just went through on Monday morning). I left multiple texts and voice messages for someone to call me back regarding my Wednesday AM appt. Needless to say - NOT ONE PERSON called me back. I ultimately had to cancel my appointment (by text of course) because Dr Correa did not contact my insurance for pre-auth on a prescription that I needed for the appointment. Today is Friday and I have yet to get any call back nor text to try to fix this issue. It is clear they don’t care about me as a patient. I have found a new doctor that I will be seeing now. If communication and feeling like your not just a number means something to you, go elsewhere.

Negative experience: Today was my first visit with Dr. Correa. I waited an hour and 20 minutes to be seen. I didn't feel like she had a warm, friendly, bedside manner, but I do think she was thorough and honest in her evaluation of me. My main issue and what upset me the most, is that she came in the room with her gloves on, typed on the keyboard, touched the mouse, touched other things, and then used those same gloves to evaluate me. The fact that she didn't use sanitary precautions before she examined me is enough for me to not want to go back. That's a big deal, especially in a doctor's office. My overall experience just wasn't good. I wouldn't recommend anyone there.

Fantastic experience: Travelled 3 hrs. to see Dr. Margarita Correa at her Orlando, FL location. What an eye opening experience! She takes her time to review all your records before discussing her findings with you. Then she proceeded to do a well rounded examination and testing, nothing like what I have experienced in the past.. She is by far an excellent physiatrist and overall physician with many years of experience.Will highly recommend her and Physmedi Rehabilitaton to anyone looking for knowledge and experience.

Now, Dr. Oquendo explain to me the real problem with my back and legs pain that is not going to cure but I can get a surgery. Positive experience: This was my first visit to the office. My first impression is that the parking lot & waiting room are small. (Thus my 4 star rating). The office staff was pleasant & courteous. I drove 36 miles to see Dr Correa because she was the only central Florida physician I could find that treats lipidemia. She was thorough in her questions & exam & gave me alot of answers & assistance to my treatment questions. Aside from the drive, it was a great visit.

Positive experience: Came for a first-time appointment with my elderly mom and at first, had mixed feelings about this clinic, PhysMedi-Orlando, located behind Advent Health Orlando. The location seemed small, a bit run down outside, but inside, the office ambience seemed quite clean and updated. It was odd, however, that the waiting area was very quiet (no TV was on although there was one available). We arrived about 15 min early from our scheduled appointment, check-in seamlessely, were taken in for vitals fairly quickly, but we weren't seen until almost 1 hour after our scheduled appointment. Because of this, I did not rate the experience 5 stars. Our meeting with Dr. Margarita Correa was wonderful, however. She took necessary precautions necessary in support of COVID-19 protocols, and she took her time to truly understand and assess my mother. She was very kind, yet professional, and very knowledgeable in assessing her. Look foward to continuing care with her. Highly recommend!
