CORA Physical Therapy Palm Bay

Negative experience: Nobody seems to know what they are doing here - feels like I am a training dummy. Each therapist is treating 2-3 people at the same time, so you never have their full attention. When I told them that the exercises were aggravating an old injury, they continued doing the same exercises. That is partly due to never getting the same therapist twice in a row. Had a new injury from this place.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Cora Physical Therapy in West Melbourne (Palm Bay), FL are amazing . From my first post surgical visit with physical therapist Sebastian, to my current on going therapy sessions I couldn’t feel more confident in their ability to help me rehabilitate my left shoulder. The receptionist Nicole greets you remembers your name and welcomes you in. Cora Physical Therapy have a mission statement of : “Everyone is welcome , everyone is respected, everyone is supported to achieve success.” They each adhere to this mission without fail. Each therapist that has been assigned to my case from Michelle, Hannah, Peter , Elaine and Shane have been so essential to my recovery . I would heartily recommend this facility . What an amazing team of professionals !

Fantastic experience: I am very fortunate that my Workman's Comp Insurance Company sent me to Cora Physical Therapy. I was injured as a result of a bad fall from a knee scooter that completely tore my supraspinatus and partially tore another portion of my rotator cuff. I had previously torn my other shoulder's rotator cuff 4 years before and was sent to 2 other physical therapy clinics. I needed a second clean out surgery and physical therapy because I ended up with frozen shoulder at the end of my first round of physical therapy. The results of my physical therapy at Cora Physical Therapy following this shoulder surgery are extremely good. The entire staff at Cora is excellent. They obtained every authorization needed to continue my therapy without delays that could have compromised my recovery. Their large staff of highly educated therapists allowed them to conviently schedule all of my appointments. All of the physical therapists at Cora compationately treat all of their patients from young children to the elderly patents. There is a true team atmosphere at Cora led by their wonderful manager, Shane. Their incredible staff of therapists include Shane, two Hannahs, Michele, Sebastian, Dante, Julia, Elaine, Trinity, Bryan, Allen, and Peter who worked with me during at least half of my therapy sessions. Their front office staff includes Monica, Sharma, and Nichol, who arranged all of my appointments and authorizations. I truly enjoyed every moment that I spent with all of these fantastic people. I highly recommend Cora for anyone's physical therapy needs. They are the best in the business, and the time spent there is worth the excellent results that benefit all of their patients.

Fantastic experience: Wow! When I started my physical therapy at Cora Physical Therapy in Kissimmee location, I had no Idea that I would come to really like and look forward to my sessions. The therapists, Amber, Nicolas, Richard, and José, treated me like a true friend. They were always happy to see me. They took their time explaining how to use the equipment and never rushed my treatments and always checked with me to make sure I was comfortable using the equipment. I also like the fact that after every session, I was offered a heat or ice pack before leaving. All my questions and concerns were always addressed pleasantly. The best review I could give Cora Physical Therapy is to say, "I would return here should I need physical therapy again and I would recommend them to my family, friends and you." I wish I could give more than just five stars.

Fantastic experience: I was a patient at CORA, back in 2013,when they had an office on Malabar Rd close to Dollar General. The therapists back then would tell you the sets and how to do them, but would move on to the next patient and rarely checked or paid attention to ensure the exercises were carried out with safety and or maximum effort. Eventually, I felt like I was going to the park to do my own thing, because it's truly how I felt. Maybe they booking too many patients at the same time, whatever it was, it wasn't giving the best to get the best patient outcome. Now 11 years later, I had to go to CORA to complete testing for a program they are contracted with. When I tell you it was apple to oranges!! That's what you call a 360 degree turn. I observe a number of patients get the care, time and positive encouragement to get them back on course to improvement. My instructor was by the book, no short cuts. His encouragement, forthrightness and reinforcing safety first, put me through the test, asked for my best and worked with me at achieving my maximum potential. Negative experience: My mother came here recently for an evaluation and the therapist that was doing this evaluation was so discouraging that it was just utterly disrespectful. This is supposed to be a place of hope and rehabilitation but she left there feeling worse than she did going in. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I am currently going to CORA for a work-related injury. I highly recommend CORA PT in Palm Bay. This facility is by far the best. The staff is amazing. The ladies at the front desk are always welcoming and ready to assist with any needs (especially scheduling and accommodating schedule changes). Sebastian and Hannah clearly explained my injuries and treatment programs. The entire pt staff constantly encourage and motivate patients. Michelle and the other Hannah are always there to greet you with a smile and put you in a good mood before you begin your sessions. Peter, one of the physical therapist took the initiative to find equipment tailored to my job (“weighted vest) and incorporated job specific tasks to push towards my treatment goals. The therapist listen to patients' concerns in order to provide effective therapy and allow the patient to have input in their treatment program. I feel like the therapists are passionate about providing high level of care and they spend a lot of time interacting with patients. The other Hannah brings so much positive energy it’s contagious. If you want a challenge and/or want a little more of a push, Donte and Peter are there using their creative minds to formulate fun exercises to get you there. Shane is always in the background ensuring everyone (both therapists and staff) is ok and working in a safe and clean environment. You are definitely in great hands at CORA in Palm Bay.

Fantastic experience: Well deserved 5 star rating for hands down the best physical therapist there are! Everyone on staff are friendly and personable. The therapists listen to your complaints and try different techniques to help you heal. I fell back in August and started receiving treatment and was on a path to recovery. Unfortunately I fell again in November, this time more severe to the point where I couldn’t even walk. Cora got me out of a walker, to a cane, and eventually out of the two braces I was required to wear. The therapist have a unique approach on how they deal with treatment by not only using their skill set but also those around them. I have been under the care of Peter, Hannah and Dante, all of whom treat you with care and give you the confidence to push yourself into recovery. I truely wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for the care of these amazing people. I am forever grateful ❤️

Fantastic experience: “Fun” might not be the first word that comes to your mind when describing physical therapy. CORA can change that! Everyone on the staff of CORA Palm Bay exhibits upbeat, caring, & respectful behavior and that’s made a big difference in my recovery rate. Working with different therapists means you get a variety of approaches and no burn-out. The young, engaged staff does a great job of helping me learn, heal, & laugh!

Positive experience: I haven't been in a gym for over ten years, so I was not physically fit. However, with my foot injury, the staff were patient, pleasant, and understanding. It's a friendly and clean environment. A mix of young and old people of different ethnic backgrounds. Sebastian, Bethenny, and Peter are just to name a few that are amazing. I would highly recommend Cora. I am eager to join a gym and back to living thanks to them.

Fantastic experience: I have been been coming to Cora for about 3 years now for various parts of my body to help me recover from surgeries. All of the staff are extremely compassionate and professional. They take special interest in their patients. I had Peter today and when I told him that an exercise was aggravating my back. Fantastic experience: I am so happy I chose this place for my therapy! At first I was skeptical because I felt like no-one was listening to where it hurt and what I did to hurt it, and they were just going by what the Dr sheet said. Then came Peter! He listened to me and since he has been working with me I have been getting progressively better with every visit! He gives me realistic things to do at home that help me progress as well. I'm finally on my way to using my wrist again and it is amazing how one person can change a lot. The rest of the team is very nice and the front desk ladies are great to deal with as well! Everyone has a person that fits best so if one therapist doesn't do it for you ask for another one but this place overall is amazing! I recommend them to everyone! If I ever need pt on anything again I will be calling this location!

Fantastic experience: This has been an amazing journey! When I initially came here in April, I was wheelchair bound and unable to walk at all. Therapist here, especially Peter and Michelle, have gone above and beyond to continue to push me and help me regain my mobility! Peter even took the time to fix wheels on my rolator walker to ensure my safety and comfort. I'm so thankful for the team at Cora, from the receptionist giving a warm greeting when I arrive to the therapist offering cool water when notice you working hard. It's been but a pleasure working with them!!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Cora Physical Therapy on Malabar Road. They try to accommodate your schedule when making appointments and always greet you when you arrive. The therapists are knowledgeable and friendly. I recently had a knee replacement with problems. Amy is particularly helpful to my progress. When I have a problem with an exercise she finds one that works for me. She listens to my complaints and helps me try to solve them. She is caring, compassionate and dedicated to helping her patients. I also had a bout with vertigo. One session with Sebastian and it was resolved. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: CORA PT in Palm Bay is a great spot for PT. They don't just treat you like a patient; my physical therapist, Amy Musillo, pushes me to the limit during PT. Amy Is one of the best PTAs I have ever had in all my years of PT from injuries in my opinion. Amy doesn't just do the bare minimum; she acts as if she has experience treating every injury known to man and can pinpoint exactly where you are hurting due to your particular issue. Amy is PTA I would travel to if needing PT again no matter where she works!

Fantastic experience: The therapists are exceptional, especially Courtney Taft. After an accident which damaged my knee and then a subsequent knee replacement I was in need of continuous therapy for 5 months. Courtney guided me through some very difficult and painful times helping me with effective physical therapy in house and at home suggested exercises as well as much needed emotional support. The office personnel were accommodating to my schedule and helped make the overall experience a very good one. I highly recommend Cora and Courtney!

Fantastic experience: Amy Musillo is very knowledgeable regarding PT and she is great as a massage therapist. Worked on my neck and shoulder with great results, after many years of steroid injections, I finally have relief and range of motion with out pain. The whole staff is very good at what they do.

Fantastic experience: I started at Cora Physical Therapy in Palm Bay following surgery for a complete tear of my rotor cup. Within the first three weeks of working with them my range of motion improved amazingly. The therapists are not only knowledgeable but upbeat and make your experience personable. From the moment you walk in they greet you by name and everyone is friendly with exercises tailored to your needs, not generic. Besides an amazing workout, they have also taught me many things to do at home. I recommend this location and would definitely use them in the future if need be.

Fantastic experience: After having serious rotator cuff surgery in July, I needed PT. I found Cora PT in Palm Bay through my insurance plan. So thankful I found them. My surgery was severe and my PT was painful. But all the therapists that worked with me during my three month/twice a week schedule were wonderful. They were very knowledgeable, courteous and caring. They worked me hard but were always respectful and aware of my pain levels. It’s bittersweet that my time with them is ending. I’m very glad to have made the improvement I have, but will actually miss them. Thank you Michele and the rest with a very special Thank You to Courtney. Fantastic experience: After injuring my back, knee, and shoulder I was sent to Cora PT via my physician. I had no idea what to expect. The entire evening staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of working with all the therapists and they each were kind, informative, and patient with me. They explained each strength exercise, shared advice on form and how to avoid future injury. I seriously felt like every session was a workout but it was totally worth it. I have recovered fully and I'm feeling like myself again, but stronger. I no longer hurt when I wake up or during the day. Sofia at the front desk was very kind, Taylin was amazing maybe my favorite ;-), Hannah is a sweetheart and fun to work with, Sebastian was easy going, and Calvin was the awesome cheerleader that I didn't know I needed. Fantastic experience: I take my mom here who suffered two strokes within 5 months of each other last year , after home therapy she was referred here , the staff and therapist are great caring people . So far its only been 3 visits but mom is doing good . Hopefully she will regain the use of her right hand and strengthen her leg more as well .

Fantastic experience: Loved the environment! Very clean, very professional and they have patience and don’t pressure you. I had a P.E done by someone else and I felt pressured, so I pushed my body beyond my limitations, I literally cried during doing that P.E from being in severe pain and the lady who examined me showed no type of care. Not here at Cora Therapy, they actually care and would never force you to go beyond what you can.

Fantastic experience: My Primary Care Provider sent me to CORA to work on my leg strength and balance, as I suffered from an unidentified autoimmune disease a few years back. I was skeptical as my coordination has been poor since the disease. All the therapists were friendly, upbeat, encouraging, even funny. I thoroughly enjoyed each session there. They put me through the ringer with my PT sessions, leaving me tired and sore...but in the good way like a workout should. And my results, the most important part, were surprising, especially to me. Both my strength and balance were measurably improved, and exceeded my expectations.

Fantastic experience: I would like to commend one of your therapists, Stephanie for the work that she did with a ligament injury in my foot (2018). I was assessed by her and put on an exercise plan for 6 weeks. This included strengthening routines, therapy, ice, heat and taping. I attended appointments 2 x/ week and worked at home. I was able to play tennis competitively through my injury which is now totally healed. I would highly recommend Stephanie without any reservations. She is thorough, dedicated, knowledgeable and professional!

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to get well quickly if you have back or neck injuries. Every therapist is compassionate, knowledgable, motivational and knows how to help you get results on getting well quickly. I was hesitant to do physically therapy because of COVID but I felt very safe using this facility. They are meticulous at cleaning all surfaces before after you do an exercise. This is one of the best places for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I shattered the Tibia & Fibula where they connect to my right ankle in June. The staff at the CORA Physical Therapy on Malabar Rd. have been helping me learn to walk again. From my initial evaluation and progress checks with Michelle, to my weekly therapy appointments with Courtney- these ladies have made sure to explain what my bones and muscles are going through, while finding the best exercises to help me get back to my normal life. Fantastic experience: The staff at Malabar Rd, therapists and the office girls, are great. I just finished my therapy and Stephanie worked with me for all but a few sessions and she was great. She answered all my questions, I was very comfortable with her, trusted her and we managed quite a few laughs. Calvin did my initial assessment and was very knowledgeable and helpful. If I should need PT again I would absolutely go back.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to Cora Physical Therapy by my daughter physician. From my first phone conversation with the receptionist to schedule appointments up until now (approximately 3 weeks later) I have felt that my daughters needs were important. Fantastic experience: Your therapy session is NOT in the Dollar General. I have worked with almost all the physical therapists in this office and I cannot be more pleased with their level of helpfulness, therapy styles and attention regarding my injury. From the 1st appointment to now, my healing is progressing. They are all very wonderful and funny which helps ease the strenuous exercises, at times. Michele and Stephanie have recently gone the extra mile and I appreciate them for that. I won't leave Cheryl out, apologies if I spelled it wrong, but she is great at what she does. Fantastic experience: I was referred by my family Dr. for P T. Registration went smooth before arrival by front desk Rep ms. Cherlly. My first arrival was 10.18.18 I was welcome by Physical Therapist Chris. I was very impressed with his professionalism and personality during my evaluation. During my therapy session, I must confess I was a little nervous; therapist Chris was abe to assure me with affirming / encouraging positive statements such as "I am @ your side to support you." "Take your time..." Once therapy schedule was completed for my 1st visit, I was scheduled for 3 more p t and asked for Chris to be my therapist and I was very pleased when I was told "OK." Good news! On my second visit for therapy Mr Chris began daily activity and both of us were shocked - I did not experienced a negative response so he had to begin a new activity. As of today, 10.30.18; my PT improvement is beyond... and my final p t will be tomorrow Halloween Day. "Hooray to CORA staff!" I loved the distance from my home to CORA PT location on Malabar and the smooth atmosphere of the facility.

Fantastic experience: My son had a crazy accident recently and broke his femur! Our doctor told us my son needed physical therapy and suggested CORA. I’ve always heard negative things about therapy. I’m not sure why. (?) The physical therapists at CORA take my son through a strengthening routine that makes him tired, yes, but always leaves him feeling better. He also leaves with a goal in mind and a determination to meet that goal by the next appointment. The staff (administrative included) at CORA is so friendly and compassionate; it’s like they adopt you for the duration of your therapy. I’m impressed! And thankful!

Fantastic experience: I have treated at Cora Rehab in Palm Bay twice over the last few years for two separate issues. After treating with Cora both times my pain issues were resolved very quickly. The physical therapists are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Their positive attitude actually makes going to physical therapy a pleasurable experience. The physical therapists work well together to keep your therapy session seamless. There are no unnecessary wait times between exercises. Appointments times are strictly adhered to which makes scheduling around work quite easy. The administrative staff is very helpful and cheerful.

Fantastic experience: Cheryel Gunn Palm Bay, Fl Cora staff is pleasant and informative. Each time you walk in the front desk greets you by first name. The therapists are patient and work with encouraging your progress although, progress is painful it's comforting knowing they actually care.Going the extra mile flies high the way the work with you makes want to go home and continue to work out they inspire you. Fantastic experience: Friendly atmosphere and able staff. PT has helped with back pain issues and has made everyday tasks a bit easier. Unfortunately I still need surgery, but I think my recovery will be quicker due to the work I'm putting in now. Tried chiropractors before and the PT program has been much more beneficial.

Fantastic experience: I am incredibly happy with the care my son received at Cora in Palm Bay. Every aspect of the business is exceptional, from the friendliness of the staff, the ease of scheduling and canceling appointments, the welcoming environment. The therapists are amazing and really deserve a world of praise. Every one of them were helpful and showed compassion toward my son. One in particular, Ms Courtney, I cannot give enough praise on her professionalism, empathy and compassion. My son looked forward to seeing her and bragged about her to everyone we know. We are forever grateful to the work and energy she put into making therapy fun for him. I would highly recommend this particular location to anyone needing physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I've been to this facility 3 times after various procedures on my back. The staff is always professional, friendly, and encouraging. Cheryl is a wiz when it comes to navigating worker's Comp issues! Aaron and Stephanie always make the workout fun. Plus, DR TURNER is here! And you can even pay a reasonable monthly fee to use the facilities just like a gym after your therapy is completed.

Fantastic experience: When I came into Cora I had just gotten the go ahead from my doctor to start physical therapy and I was nervous because I could barely walk. After the first week I already saw improvement and could start to jog. The next week I could start to run and jump. The trainers at Cora are very supportive and know when to work you hard and when to give you time to rest. I'm happy that only a couple months after I got the clear to start physical therapy I can play basketball with no limitations thanks to Cora.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to Cora by my Dr. I must say I am very much pleased. The staff is so friendly and they include you in everything. We laugh and have a great time while working on our "problem" areas. They make you feel welcome and they defiantly know what they are doing. My therapist is Aaron and if you are lucky enough to get him, you will be very happy. He is friendly and very knowledgeable. But I am sure whoever you get you will be very much pleased with them. Can't say enough good things about them!!!!!!
