Life Care Center of Palm Bay

Fantastic experience: Super clean very professional place. We are with life care and facilities. My mom is there several years back. It’s a very nice place to be or rehab rehabilitation.

Fantastic experience: I found the facility to be very clean and odorfree. The patient I visited with seemed to be in good spirits. Of course, not happy about being there. But it was very nice.

Positive experience: I found the tour to be informative and our questions were answered. Unfortunately we didn't get to speak with any of the therapists but I'm sure we will in the near future.

Negative experience: It was a beautiful place when I was in there 5 years ago but right now we asked for somebody to help and nobody comes that looks they don't care right now I have a friend right there and it's she have to do her own stuff because there's nobody to take care of her

Negative experience: Over talked by staff as saying good by. came from mass for holiday. At 250pm 11.27.24 room 212. Billing?? It was not medical emergency!!!

Fantastic experience: It is very attractive when you enter the building, the smell is fresh and you see a beautiful sitting room with a fireplace to your right. Employees are very helpful with a smiling face in Giving directions to the room you want to go to. My friend’s room was spotless and she was resting comfortably when I arrived.

I asked questions and looked to see jow patients are acting. Quiet, and comfortable is a great indicator, that they are well cared for. I will chose your facility any day, and would gighly recommend, it also.

Positive experience: I paid a visit to Life Care on Malabar Rd to see my Mom for the second day in a row. I was pleasantly surprised to see my Mom up out of bed sitting in her wheel chair washed and dressed. All this before 11:30 am. Thank you for helping her have a better day. Fantastic experience: My friend is currently at the Life Care Center of Palm Bay. He had a hip replacement and is receiving physical therapy. I would like to acknowledge some of the people who are responsible for his excellent care: CNA's Bea, Shayna, and Cecilia, and physical therapist Nina. I would also like to acknowledge their friendly, helpful receptionists Anita and Amy.

Positive experience: We were really hoping to have our daughter Theresa Wagor become a patient at Life Care Palm Bay, but they told her case manager at Holmes that she did not meet their criteria, so I can't give you a rating any higher

Negative experience: Ok when I first went in I was like wow this place is nice and people so friendly and they all are. Mom was in there the 20 days that the insurance would allow which is ok I guess. The time of discharge Mom wasn't ready we agreed on a time because I couldn't get there before the time of normal discharge they did me a favor and I do appreciate that however papers wasn't ready and her medicine wasn't ready and they didn't even go over much about her medication then they gave medicine for the nebulizer but no machine. So if she needs a treatment then what. I also will talk about the food they don't give sugar free foods. Then when her sugar is high over 200 they just give her a shot of insulin. I am disappointed because if I was to give her sugar I would get into trouble because that would be neglect, right. I will say most of people that come in and to take care of her other needs are awesome and the staff that gave her, her lunch was great. My problem is with how they do things and it doesn't seem right. To talk to a doctor that was caring for her not sure where that doctor was.

Fantastic experience: When I come up to the center to visit my brother-in-law, everybody is so friendly and they keep me up-to-date on everything that is happening. I love all the activities they have going on. We just went to the Saint Paddy’s day dinner and it was wonderful. All the ladies were just wonderful, we enjoyed our dinner.

Fantastic experience: Facility was very attractive when I came in nice security, I was greeted by two different women that helped me right away. Even when I didn’t have an appointment, they explained a lot of important information to me about how my mother-in-law could qualify, or may not qualify for treatment and or a big help. As it stands, my mother-in-law will be on chemotherapy and therefore will not qualify for the facility, but I would be more than happy to tell people about my experience, and I would’ve thought she would’ve gotten great care there, and maybe after she finishes chemo, I will return and revisit that idea

Fantastic experience: My husband and I visited for my mother. We were given a wonderful experience and introduction by Glenda Toval. I feel my mother will be well taken care of. Life Care center is the choice for my mother.

Negative experience: This is the worst place. Please do not put your loved ones in here. They do not take care of them, feed them or give them drinks.

Negative experience: My mother was in this facility for approximately 3 weeks. She has severe dementia and needs someone to give her drinks every hour so that she does not get a UTI. Lo and behold, nobody gave her drinks, she can’t drink or eat on her own and now she is in the emergency room due to their neglect! Think before you place your loved one in their facility! Stay away! I have pictures to show what they did not do. Oh, and they lied about giving her baths! Three weeks and no bath!

Fantastic experience: I enjoy providing Christmas service to the residents. The residents and staff had nothing but, happy faces and gratitude. Can way to provide service next month.

Fantastic experience: First time visiting my mom who’s there for rehabilitation from a broken hip. It’s very clean and upscale looking. We sat with her for lunch in the dining room and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We moved her there after a short stay at Atlantic Shores, where she ended up in the ER because she was not receiving proper care. Hoping for a better outcome at Life Care.
