CORA Physical Therapy Melbourne

Fantastic experience: My experience at CORA was great! I came here struggling to just get by, my back was hurting every day. With the help of many wonderful staff, I am happy to say that I have some bad days, but most days I feel like a 24 year old again. I can go to work and go out without fear that I’m going to be in immense pain. Every physical therapist that I worked with was so friendly, encouraging, and genuinely caring; that helped my progress just as much as the actual therapy. The front desk staff were equally as friendly and supportive and I wouldn’t have rather gone anywhere else for pt. Thank you all for making this a good experience!

Negative experience: My daughter is 4 and I was told they offer swrvices for pediatrics as young as 4. The first two were active however after those two sessions she was placed with another physical therapist that just didn't seem all that interested in he job. She requested my presence with my daughter to get her to listen but that isn't my job that's yours. When I take my daughter to occupational therapy and speech therapy they do not ask for me to sit and get my daughter to do things they take charge and do their job. After the 3rd time of me wasting my time and my daughter's because of course if she sees me back there she's definitely not going to listen. This lady goes to tell me that I should go to a pediatric facility and that she is telling us to leave because of the "safety" of the other patients. All my daughter was doing was running in circles and grabbed one of the giant balls. And she would tell my daughter to do something one time and if my 4-year-old. FOUR girl didn't listen to her the first time She would walk away leave her there abandoned and go deal with other patients that she had. I understand that the physical therapist handles more than one patient in a session I too utilized Cora I understand the process. However if you're going to handle a pediatric patient you need to give them more divided attention instead of just leaving them abandoned and because you ask them nicely and they don't willingly listen to you you just walk away or tell the parent to leave. You need to do your job if you offer pediatric care take care of business take control of the situation and be more direct. I don't know what 4-year-old does listen to people You've got to be kidding me. So yes I'm going to leave you a one-star review because this was an absolute horrid experience. Don't offer pediatric care if you don't do pediatric care. Then try to brush it under the rug and make me feel like I should go somewhere else because you don't have the patience to deal with the child. Thank God she has Medicaid and I didn't pay for this out of pocket or else I would request a refund. Like I said her first physical therapist that was there was great She took control of the situation She listened She was engaging with her and everything. Even the man that evaluated her got her to listen I needed physical therapy done in September but considering this horrid experience I think I will go somewhere else too. Completely unprofessional and quite honestly you should probably get reprimanded for that. I know that won't happen but I hope you do learn if you're going to offer service you should at least fulfill it.

Negative experience: My daughter’s insurance recommended it, they called we set up evaluation and 4 future appointments quickly, 3 weeks later and less than 24hrs before 1st appointment, they said they didn’t get the correct referral code from her primary. Apparently Sha does all the appointments for Melbourne office, she’s the receptionist, but she was out of the office when they scheduled mine, her coworker did it and apparently she did it wrong, Sha seemed very annoyed with the whole situation with the referral codes being wrong and coworker, after listening to her speak about her coworker and getting off the phone. I called back and cancelled everything scheduled. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Therapist Amy is the glue that holds that place together. She does an amazing job organizing tasks that need to get accomplished. Dante,Jacob, and Bensia are also wonderful therapists that have helped me so much and continue to help me grow stronger. Zimmer and Shae do an amazing job in scheduling appointments and answering questions. These people are caring and want to see you succeed and do well. I would recommend this place to anybody needing physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Julia is my OT and she does a wonderful job. She works hard at doing what it takes to get you to your goal. Shae and Zimmer and the front desk are very welcoming and makes you feel welcome. Just the right people you want greeting you. Amy and B are also very good at what they do. I’ve worked with B several times and no complaints and Amy guides the team with ease. They all make you feel like you not just there to get better and them for the money. They all enjoy what they do and makes you feel like your friends and sometimes family. A+

Fantastic experience: Julia has been wonderful helping me with my OT. I could feel the improvement from the first few sessions! Everyone is super nice and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Occupational Therapy: Right shoulder rotator cuff tear, severity of injury over time resulting in complete tendon tears, separated, and seized into muscles. Working with OT Julia has extended my range of motion in every direction. Also, I am gaining lifting strength in my arm. Julia is extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about her job.

Fantastic experience: Amadel (Amy) helped me tremendously with my knee pain. The entire team is so nice and caring. I can't say enough good things about the melbourne team.

Fantastic experience: CORA Physical Therapy is STILL an amazing facility that takes care of all of my physical therapy needs. The friendly staff STILL makes me feel welcomed (not just the therapist working with me but all of the staff). THIS IS MY SECOND TIME COMING TO THEM FOR SOME VERY TRAUMATIC ISSUES AND THE STAFF CAME TOGETHER AND ADDRESSED MY NEEDS IN A PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY MANNER THAT ALSO MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE. Fantastic experience: The CORA staff were outstanding for my physical therapy needs and have helped me avoid needing surgery. The reception desk is friendly and very helpful. The physical therapists are awesome and very attentive to my progress. Highly recommended! I'll miss going there -- even though that is a good thing.

Fantastic experience: Bensia and all the therapists at Cora -Melbourne are wonderful. They are patient and very helpful with any problem you may have. They all take their time and answer any and all questions. Zimmer who runs the front desk always has a smile on his face and also helpful with appointments. Fantastic experience: I am thankful for Cora & especially the staff. I have been a difficult case. They listen to me & are sympathetic to issues I have been having. Jen really is amazing. Motivated, knowledgeable & makes me want to cry due to the pain but she knows what it will take to get me walking on my own. The other therapist are great to. Ben runs a great crew & I look forward to seeing them (weird I know) because they are almost like family now. I would recommend Cora to everyone. Great place, clean, conveniently located & accommodating.

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving physical therapy at CORA P.T. on Eau Gallie Boulevard and could not be happier! I could barely move my arm on my first visit and after my 4th visit I am able to use my arm again!!! Each session I get better. Everyone at the facility is eager to help and pushes you to do your best! I would recommend CORA to anyone who is having a problem.

Fantastic experience: My therapists...B, Stone,Ben,Rachel and Jackie know which exercises I need to focus on for strengthening my core. All the staff is warm and welcoming. Their main concern is how to ease my pain.

Fantastic experience: From my initial consultation to my last day of PT, the staff was very accommodating with my work schedule and most importantly helped me to relieve my pain. The therapists asked questions to see how I was progressing and introduced new exercises throughout my sessions instead of doing the same routines every time. Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Great experience so far with Cora Physical Therapy on Eau Gallie Blvd. I'm working with Benjamin Gaines, he has been great and he listens to your needs, goals and most importantly keeps in mind your pain level throughout your session. Pain management is very important for me at this time in my recovery and he always has that in mind while he's working with me. He also educates me as to why we are doing each exercise and also offers invaluable information for at home therapy. Ben takes his time with me and never rushes me. The facility has adequate Covid measures, it is always clean and is never crowded. I definitely highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: This is the best place I have gone for physical therapy. I have been to others where the therapists tell you to do an exercise and then leave you to go play on their phones. Here at Cora, all of the therapists are watching you for muscle fatigue as well as pain and if exercises are too difficult they will give you alternatives and not say to push through. Great staff, great exercises as well as very clean and sanitized for your safety.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy my physical therapy here because the staff, and the therapists are friendly, and patient. Their concern and care is genuine, and most important they make sure all of the equipment is sanitized after each patient has used it, another form of caring because of the pandemic. I would recommend Cora Physical Therapy to everyone I know., and I am personally grateful.

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough good things about this facility. Jackie at the front desk made appointment scheduling easy and worked with me. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. My shoulder and neck therapy improved my condition and really minimized my pain level. Jackie is so warm and helpful with scheduling. John, Ben and Ashley have been to caring and explain my situation very clearly and they are always so co corned with my well being. Fantastic experience: This is a great Physical Therapy Center, they are flexible with their scheduling, they are always on time and they take the time to get to know you and they all work very well together to make sure you are getting what you need out of your physical therapy. They sent me home with printed out exercises to do in between sessions and asked questions every time I went in about where my pain level was and seemed to always find the best therapy for me. I'm so happy with my time spent here and feel amazing.

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with my experience at CORA. Facility was never overcrowded. Facility clean and adequate Covid measures were in place without being overly zealous. Therapists could give you time needed. Sometimes it seemed that appointments were made independent of your usual therapist’s availability, but the substitute could easily check your progress notes. Everyone was personable and staff all seemed happy to be there. The pleasant environment is very important to progress. Only improvement I could ask for is a deeper explanation of why we were doing each activity and how it would better my problem. I will return if I need PT again.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience so far at CORA Physical therapy at Eau Gallie. I've worked mostly with Stone And Ben and they truly listen to your needs and goals. PT has helped with my pain management and the education the therapists offer is invaluable for when I'm not in the office. Great staff!

Fantastic experience: CORA Therapy in Melbourne has been both encouraging and extremely helpful in my Rehab. After being in an accident that has left me half cyborg I have been showing up regularly and making strides in my progress. Even after I have reached my limitations on my insurance visits they offered me a more than reasonable plan to continue on with my Rehab. THESE PEOPLE CARE!

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience! The care I have gotten at CORA has been most beneficial. Shannon S., my therapist, has guided me through very difficult shoulder rehab and helped me avoid surgery. Her knowledge, advice and gentle treatment have made all the difference in my recovery. All of the staff are attentive and caring, the location is great and the facility is clean and very user friendly. They are extremely COVID aware and take all precautions to protect patients. I am grateful to have found CORA Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: GREAT place to rehab! This is my 2nd time around. Was here in 2014 for my left shoulder after surgery and again now in 2018 after right shoulder surgery. Fantastic experience: To me cora is the best!!! I'm saying i go in to my appointment and i can't barely walk....but when I'm leaving im practically running out the door. Even with my shoulder i just can't explain how good this therapist is.(shannon) she is wonderful and makes me feel like a brand new woman everytime I'm done. Fantastic experience: I love the folks at CORA! A few months ago I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle breaking my ankle and severely tearing my rotator cuff; without going into the details, I was not able to get in-home rehab and was having difficulty finding an outpatient facility that would take me or even return my calls. Then I found CORA. Jen immediately assured me they could and would help; they have more than delivered on her promise. I have mostly worked with Nicole and that's where the excellence begins. She understands her patients and is committed to their overall health and welfare. I have also worked with Shannon and Aaron, who are every bit as committed as Nicole. The CORA staff listens to my verbal feedback as well as paying close attention to my non-verbals. They have focused my rehab on their extensive training and experience coupled with my desires for functions affecting my everyday life and activities. The whole staff, including Jen, routinely pitches in and works as a team to provide effective, enjoyable therapy sessions. Jen has even brought me coffee while I iced down at the end of a session. I thoroughly enjoy my sessions and know I am making significant progress to complete recovery and beyond. As I said at the beginning...I love the folks at CORA!

Fantastic experience: Cora rehab in Melbourne is wonderful. They REALLY care about their patients. My son has gone to them on 2 different occasions. First his right knee and now his left. They take care of him as if he was their own!! I highly Recommend THIS location!!! Jenn, Nicole and Shannon are AMAZING!!!!

Fantastic experience: These are very good people they want only the best for you! I can't single anyone there out because everyone there is awesome. If you are needing physical therapy, you will likely spend a lot of time somewhere doing this, CORA will help you all the way through and you will feel like part of the family. if you're going to spend this much time getting stronger, what not choose a place you'll always feel comfortable. And they KNOW what they're doing! All highly qualified to put your care in their hands!

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best physical therapy I have ever attended. They help you understand what is happening to your body. As a disabled military veteran, the quality of this care far surpasses any therapy I have received at any other facility. Nicole and her assistants have helped me bypass my fears of therapy. Fantastic experience: The Cora team is amazing. From my first visit they made me feel comfortable and were very thorough to make sure I am getting the best out of my post surgical rehabilitation. Jenn always greets you with a smile and knew my name every visit. Courtney is an outstanding therapist. She has helped me out so much post surgical. I had a knee replacement and an ACL repair within a very short time and I am seeing huge improvements every week. I look forward to every session and feel like I’m part of the Cora family when I am there. You will not be disappointed with the team at the Eau Gallie/Melbourne clinic.

Fantastic experience: Allow me to start off by saying THIS Cora Health Services deserves five stars. They are very professional and they display that daily. This Cora Health has the ability to make you feel comfortable when you know it will be painful. They even add a little levity to the situation to make you more relaxed. They work very hard to accommodate your scheduling needs. Your success is their goal. Fantastic experience: I want to thank the staff at Cora Rehab for all they have done, and are still doing to get me back to my old self. I had rotator cuff surgery and Nicole, Shannon, Aaron, and Jennifer have always had my best interest at hand when trying to get me right again. they are very polite, professional, and easy to work with. They keep me motivated, and keep me working towards the end goal of getting my ROM (range of motion) back. They ALL think of the patient first whether it comes to scheduling or the treatment needed. I would 100% recommend them to anyone who may need physical therapy treatment. In my opinion they are the best at what they do, and how comfortable they make you feel in their hands.
