Fantastic experience: I have had long term back problems, and been treated in quite a few different places as we live part of year in Chicago, and were in Naples prior to here. Different modalities have helped me but I always dread trying to find a new PT person as many have not known best ways to help me. Delighted with my first interactions here! Extremely knowledgeable, 0rganized, on time, and excellent explanations and great support literature along with email backup. Understand instructions will automatically be updated as I progress, which is perfect.

Positive experience: Review for St. Pete Outpatient Rehab I had a great experience at St. Pete Outpatient Rehab. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring, making the rehabilitation process as smooth and effective as possible. From the front desk to the therapists, everyone is welcoming and attentive to individual needs. The facility is well-maintained, offering a variety of equipment and therapy options to aid in recovery. The team takes the time to tailor exercises to each patient, ensuring progress while also being mindful of comfort and limitations. Their dedication to patient care truly stands out. My only minor suggestion would be for the heated pool to be a bit warmer, but overall, this rehab center provides excellent care and a supportive environment for healing. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of outpatient therapy!

Fantastic experience: The therapists are compassionate, empathetic, and highly skilled. They offer both pool and gym therapy to help your body adjust and regain strength, especially when gravity can cause additional discomfort. I highly recommend this facility for orthopedic rehabilitation! If they could help me walk again after a broken femur, I’m confident they can help you too!

Fantastic experience: I had to go to physical therapy twice now and My OT Elizabeth was awesome. Each time curing me of horrible pain. I have arthritis and it causes all sorts of problems. Tendinitis in my elbow one and then thumb issues. I am so grateful for her work and expertise. She is a 5 star in my book

Positive experience: I had physical therapy with Chris, Robert & Amber. I had therapy every Wednesday & Friday. My last therapy session was Thursday, August 1st. The PT's were great with me & helped me relax. They did exercises on my legs. Then the last two sessions, Chris had me do balancing exercises. I wear a prosthetic on my left leg below the knee. I thank these three for their help in getting me stronger on my leg & balance.

Fantastic experience: I'm a 73 year old woman. I've always been active and worked out at the gym and at home for years. My bone density started to become a problem, along with bone spurs in my cervical spine and some issues with my lumbar spine. After a CT scan, my PCP recommended physical therapy to strengthen the muscles for my lumbar spine, hip area and cervical spine. Standing in the kitchen preparing meals would cause extreme pain in my back; and, I would have to sit down to take the strain off my back and neck. I took Tylenol and Motrin on a regular basis. Like many people, I was a little skeptical about physical therapy helping relieve my pain and mobility issues. WELL, I was absolutely wrong! Martha and Doug were amazing with their professionalism, knowledge and application of physical therapy. I went for PT twice a week for 8 weeks (16 sessions), plus the initial evaluation and re-evaluation. They gave me exercises to perform at home, which I continue to do to this day. I constantly relied on a walker to help with the stability and pain in my back. The strength and stability I gained from PT enabled me to (after six weeks of sessions) to take public transportation to Gateway Mall to do some shopping USING ONLY MY CANE!! I can't begin to express the joy and freedom I felt from being able to use only my cane. People have told me I actually look like myself again. Not only did the PT help me physically; but, it help me mentally, also. By the way, I no longer take Tylenol and Motrin. My neck doesn't crack any more; and, I can actually bend over the pick an item off the floor. When preparing meals, I no longer have to take breaks to sit down. I have no pain in my back. Following the exercise plan from Martha and Doug, my spine is back in alignment and pain-free. The strength in my legs and arms improved. The range of motion in my neck increased by 16 to 17 points. I have given business cards to a few friends and encouraged them to call and schedule appointments. I must, also, thank the front office staff for their professional and caring. They were always so pleasant and welcoming. THANK YOU MARTHA AND DOUG! YOU ARE MY HEROS!

Positive experience: I read the report from the NP w/Baycare. I am offended that this girl said I acted erratic. I do NOT appreciate that remark in my file! I had a 3:10 dr appt, learned she doesn’t accept Humana, I was put in a room k NOT told I’d have to wait til 4:40 to see NP, & I was Tired of Waiting, k had another appt after this delayed -rescheduled. I also thought saying AMEn often was not appropriate. I’ve been sick since Christmas’s w/FLU B, relapse & bronchitis. I sincerely Resent her remarks!

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say thank you to the team of Physical Therapists that helped me on my recovery from a cervical spine injury - Dawn, Sherie, Carrie & Doug were so kind, professional and thoughtful - I was skeptical at first over the team approach and getting appointments with several people, but I noticed that each person put their personal touch and listened to me at each appointment and adjusted treatment as needed. One of the tools they used was a traction machine where you lie there for 15 minutes. The attention to detail to offer to dim the lights during the traction is a good example of the level of caring. I am still on my road of recovery, and it is slow as they told me, but I know that I have a great place filled with caring people if I need them in the future. Special shout out to Theresa at the front desk who helped me get on the schedule ASAP! Thank you all again!
