Fantastic experience: I went to next step with a painfully arthritic knee. The surgeon recommended rehab since it was not bad enough to repair surgically. I am an avid bicycle rider and could not even pedal a bike. However, after several weeks Steve and his team had me back on my bike and feeling great. The staff was professional and personable. If you need pt/rehab I would highly recommend Nexstep.

Fantastic experience: If you need any kind of rehab, this is most definitely the place to go! From the moment you walk into the facility you are greeted with kindness and complete respect and compassion. I had total knee replacement surgery on April 5, 2024. 3 days later, I was in rehab with Next Step Rehab. I could not have received better care! My first physical therapist was Yoko Ray, and she was wonderful! Her attention and care concerning my issues was beyond thorough and thoughtful. She was sympathetic to my pain, yet very encouraging to work through it with dedication and patience. Yoko then went on vacation and I was now under the care of Daniel Lindsay. I was a little nervous at first because I had gotten used to working with Yoko, but Daniel soon eased my worries and treated me as if I had been his patient from the very beginning! He too was very sympathetic to my pain, but believed in me and encouraged to me to continue to put the work in to achieve the results I needed as I had a bucket list trip planed about 3.5 weeks post surgery that required much walking, climbing and dealing with uneven surfaces. My sessions with Daniel were always challenging and always quite different as not to be boring and routine. To be honest, every therapist there is wonderful! They are all truly a team! Positive vibes are everywhere in this establishment! I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff, and I send out a HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU! For almost 4 months, I received care 3x’s a week and therapy became my full time job. I felt like family, as if I’d known them all my life. I am currently on my vacation and having a wonderful time! I couldn’t have done it without your help, guidance, and dedication! THANK YOU! You guys and gals are the best! JOY

Fantastic experience: Excellent, well equipped facility. All the PT'S are friendly and helpful. I liked that one PT followed you throughout your entire rehabilitation. My PT was Daniel. He was empathetic, and knew when to push you and when to ease up. If I need future rehab I will not hesitate to return to Next Step.

Fantastic experience: I went to Next Step for rehab for my shoulder after surgery. From the minute I walked in, the entire staff were super nice and so friendly. Everyone was always happy and upbeat making my visits very pleasant. Steve was my assigned therapist and he was really great, excellent course of rehab, very knowledgeable and personable. I’ve had several work related injuries and surgeries over the years and this was the fastest and most enjoyable rehab ever. I would recommend Next Step to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I’m on my way back to Next Step for Physical Therapy. Steve and his staff are the most professional and caring people. I’ve been to Next Step for 2 knee replacement therapy’s and 2 shoulder therapy after replacements. I also went for lower back and leg strengthening. I’m now going for therapy for a broken wrist and a badly sprained wrist. I don’t need you to wish me luck because this is the best place to go for therapy.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Next Step Rehab after receiving an ORIF for distal radius fracture. Debbie made my orthosis with such precision, and I’ve been working with Steve for about a month now. He gives you the greatest motivation, demonstrates confidence in what he does (he has over 30 yrs of experience), and has such great sense of humor, you’d forget how painful stretching feels like. Entire staff is accommodating, and front desk person Jessica is super nice & cheerful. My healing process is coming along, my wrist range of motion & strength are getting better each day, and I attribute every single progress to them all.

Fantastic experience: My orthopedic surgeon was correct when he said I needed more range of motion and set me up to see Steve he got me going and with his therapist Lori helped me to succeed and maintain strength going foward for my new knee . Fantastic experience: Excellent therapy provided, which I believe helped hasten my radial nerve palsy recovery. I was shown many exercises that I could do at home. I went to several sessions, and they could have milked me for more visits, since I have insurance.Thankfully this is an honest place, and once I gained the knowledge to discontinue my visits, that's exactly what was done. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and not out to make a quick buck. Hopefully I'll never need physical therapy again. But, if I do, I'll go back to Next Step. The whole staff was great. Steve really helped me out with a difficult injury, and he's an easy to get along with guy.

The care they provided me was expert and targeted; they helped me reduce my pain and increase my activity level within a few visits. I am a couch potato, so their encouragement and matter-of-fact explanations gave me what I needed to get moving. They made sure I knew what exercises to do on my own and provided me with easy-to-understand instructions so I could heal faster and safely. This has been the first time that I did not dread going to physical therapy. Steve explained thoroughly what we were accomplishing on each visit and I had the results the next day with little pain. Fantastic experience: I had the best therapy sessions at Next Step Rehab. My therapist Savannah was great and creative with her exercises. She made my strengthening sessions fun, although some was painful :( and annoying, like the therapy bands, but in a good way and every exercise helped me improve my strength and my ability to use my arm more adequately. Fantastic experience: When I was initially diagnosed with a pinched nerve, I thought, oh goodness, let's see where physical therapy can help heal the pain. After my doctor referred me to Next Step Rehabilitation, I received a call within an hour to set up an appointment. Fantastic experience: I am so pleased to be able to express the wonderful experience that I had at Next Step Rehabilitation. I had previous experiences at physical therapy, and when my doctor sent me to Next Step, I anticipated going though the same process, and was not looking forward to going. Since that is what the doctor felt I needed, I went, and unlike my previous encounters, my therapist, Pierre, did not cut corners. From the first day, he made a difference in my walk. My joints felt loser, and I was able to walk without the excruciating pain that happened depending on which way I laid down or turned. I will not hesitate to go again if I have any problems. Fantastic experience: By way of background, I have replaced both of my knees and both of my hips, so I am all too familiar with rehab facilities: having spent months rehabbing each knee and/or hip replacement following surgery. That being stated, I can honestly state the medical staffs as well as the front office staff are highly competent at Next Step Rehabilitation. I was extremely impressed with the level of care I received by the therapists whom were not only knowledgeable but caring folks. Fantastic experience: I am happy that I went to Next Step. Yoko worked with me on exercises to improve my posture and lessen my back pain. She taught me body mechanics and it has helped a lot. I can get up from a chair easier and my balance has really improved. I am doing the exercises daily. Every one at Next Step is professional and I would urge anyone to go there for rehab.

Fantastic experience: Next Step Rehabilitation is an outstanding place to heal among a very knowledgeable and caring staff. Under Steve Kiag's care and Lara's assistance, I was able to heal and regain my range of motion after having a complex double ACDF surgery. Prior to therapy, I could not move my head or neck in any direction and had associated muscle pain and spasms. At the end of my therapy at Next Step, I was able to function normally again and had gained significant strength and flexibility throughout my cervical spine region. The facility is very large and comfortable with ample equipment to maximize your therapy experience. Previously, I had used Next Step after a major wrist surgery that involved mending multiple splintered bones. Debbie Kiag performed what I would call a miracle, helping me to gain near perfect range of motion in my wrist. Tiffany is also a real gem at the front desk, always smiling and working hard to take care of everyone's needs.

Fantastic experience: I had an awful fall at Disney World in October 2020, and went to Next Step in hopes of regaining strength and movement of the ligaments in my right foot. With much help from my physical therapist Yoko, I have achieved my goals just 3 months after my injury (It was a slow but steady race). Yoko was always incredibly friendly, nice, and very easy to talk to. She always asked how I was feeling and made sure I was comfortable with whatever task she gave me to do, as well as actually showing me what I needed to do. I had a wonderful experience here, and all of the physical therapists were helpful and kind. I would most definitely recommend Next Step!

Fantastic experience: Steve and Laura worked with me following a very serious injury and surgery. I went twice a week for 5 weeks. One of them worked with me every session. My strength, range of motion, and stamina all improved dramatically.Some of my therapy required machines but many of the exercises I could practice at home. Everyone working there was very kind and helpful. It was the best out patient physical therapy I have experienced and I am grateful for all their help and encouragement.

Fantastic experience: Why I would recommend NextStep Rehabilitation for your therapy? This is my experience- days after surgery, in which I had cartilage replacement surgery on my thumb, Debbie, owner, removed my cast and made a removable splint for me! Six weeks later, I was to start physical therapy. Steve, owner and Debbie’s husband, showed me exercises to strengthen my thumb and wrist! On most appointments, Reggie, the King Charles Spaniel, greets you wanting a few pats on the head! On another visit I was talking with Yoko, another Physical Therapist, about my Corgi, Tillie, who we had to put down and tested up! Yoko picked up her Pappion, Keke, and let me love on her! They not only take card of your physical needs but also your mental needs!

Fantastic experience: I have been blessed to have experienced Next Step. I began PT in Florida after having shoulder surgery and 3 weeks of initial PT in Michigan. Steve and staff readily began to work with me and for me. I observed Steve and staff with other patients noting their true interest and concern for the patient’s well being and progress. Steve was attentive, kind and helpful, teaching me how to improve my own situation. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and professional. In my four weeks at Next Step I regained nearly full range of motion and began to gain strength. When I started I had terrible burning sensation in my lower legs and tingling in my feet. Those feelings have almost left me but the best part is that I am walking better and I feel so much stronger. This is a wonderful place to go.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Steve and Laura for all their help in showing me how to use my right shoulder, which is a rotator cuff that can't be repaired, only a reversed replacement. They started me on the pulleys, then stretching with my fingers on a ladder wall as high as I could reach, then holding the stretch. Next they had me take like an eraser on the wall, go in circles up high, do them 20 times, then in circles to my right for 20 times, each exercise was 20 times and when my arm would start to ache, I was to let my arm dangle, move it in a small circle and let it relax. That 1'st day I heard & felt my shoulder making snapping sounds but it eventually over the next couple of therapy treatments stopped and each day of therapy I could feel my shoulder getting stronger. Each day of therapy I would do a couple of new exercises. I went back to my Orthopedic surgeon & he was amazed at how far I could reach without any pain or snapping sounds. I couldn't have done this on my own. Thank you all at NEXT STEP REHABILITATION.

Fantastic experience: Next Step Rehabilitation gets 5 stars from me. Starting with Steve and staff who are friendly and efficient. I have worked with therapist, Yoko Ray on 2 occasions for different reasons. She worked with me after a total knee replacement helping me regain my range of motion rapidly. After "graduating " from her care I am walking the beach and climbing stairs again. Yoko taught me how to continue my recovery on my own. I couldn't be happier with the therapy I received from Yoko at Next Step.

Fantastic experience: Best decision to go to Next Step PT for my R knee. Orthopedist supported my decision to go to there. I went in very sore, unable to bend my knee, thinking if this doesn't work... Well, by the 6th therapy, my knee never felt better. Steve & staff gave me exercises to do at home after PT. I highly recommend Next Step, if doctor gives a choice of PT after an injury like mine.

Fantastic experience: After a triple spiral fracture in my fibula, I started rehab with Steve. not only was he extremely helpful, he was able to get me through therapy more quickly than anticipated. He taught me additional exercises that I was able to do at home and by following his instructions I was able to cut a few weeks off of my time.
