Positive experience: One of the best LTC facilities around. Great nurses, decent docs, good CNAs. The facility itself is clean and offers hands on PT and wound care. Excellent food (and on time). Management is on 24/7 - especially Nicole DON and Nicole Admin. I highly recommend this small rehab.

Fantastic experience: We have been very pleased with the care and customer service provided at Pinellas Point Nursing and Rehab. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel comfortable, valued, and well cared for. Over time, we’ve also seen improvements throughout the building, creating a more positive and welcoming environment for both residents and families. It’s clear that strong leadership and a dedicated team are working hard to maintain high standards of care. We are truly thankful for the difference this facility has made in my grandmother's life.

Negative experience: Front desk phone, is incompetent, nurse doesn't answer questions, son of my friends who is also incompetent

Fantastic experience: There are a lot of choices for skilled nursing and rehabilitation. There are none quite like Pinellas Point. Pinellas is a 60 bed facility and that size allows for a unique level of oversight and care of the patients and residents that are here. I have been working with this facility for ~10 years and am always amazed with the continuity of the staff, which is always looking for ways to improve. In healthcare turnover is common, but at this building there has been excellent people here for a long time, which ensures that all patient needs are met and processes are followed to have amazing outcomes. What this building lacks in glitz and glamor it makes up for tenfold with caring individuals that will dedicate themselves to ensure your loved one or yourself get the care you need.

Fantastic experience: As the Area Manager for Aqua Home Care working with multiple facilities, I have had the privilege of working closely with Alexis Dickson at Pinellas Point Rehabilitation facility, and I am consistently impressed by the level of professionalism, dedication and empathy she brings to the Admissions process. Alexis possesses a deep understanding of both the clinical and emotional needs of incoming residents and families. I highly recommend Alexis to work with to help any family member make the right choice on finding the best option for their family!

Fantastic experience: My first day I had a Bad panic attack Had to go back to Saint Anthony’s. Returned to the facility the same day 07/15/2024. I think the only reason I had this panic attack was everybody came into the room at the same time and it was very warm and that room my side of the room was not receiving any AC from the other side of the room. When I came back to the facility on 07/15/2024 They put me in a different room which helped me tremendously. Then at this point in time, people came and started talking to me about the situation. And I believe that helped a lot. It is overwhelming for anyone to go somewhere they haven’t been as far as a rehab facility or hospital. To be honest with you Pinellas Point Nursing and Rehab Center actually Deserves more than five stars. Pinellas point nursing and rehab center is clean and neat. It has no bad odors. Ingrid in housekeeping ***** was a joy. She would always check in on me and would do things that helped make me feel good, Thank you Ingrid. It is an older place a bit rundown, but is it actually very clean. I have to say that people I came in contact with. After our meeting We’re very kind, considerate and understanding. At first, the food was absolutely horrible Then after the nutritionist came and spoke to me, they must have gotten a new cook, Because the food started being excellent. I was treated very well by everyone that I came in contact with. .Shawnrika CNA 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 shift Deserves five stars and more, she made sure that everybody that was taking over her patience understand and knew my situation Shawnrika put me first priority before going home. She made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Rachel CNA was very good very kind and made sure I had anything and everything I needed, Rachel was also going to school To get her nursing degree She always came dressed, very professional And her behavior was very professional. Kim a CNA 3 to 11 shift was an absolute pleasure to have as part of the team. Kim always had nothing but good words to say about her job. When was in my room we always had a good laugh no matter what time of night it was. The therapy team are fabulous they definitely know what they are doing to help you progress. I had a complete ankle replacement and with their help, I was able to do things on my own and no time at.. I don’t actually recall the nurses names that worked the night and overnight shift 11 P.M. to 7 A.M. shift I believe there was Barbara and Tara they were not the only two but they were Excellent at what they did if you had any questions or needed help they would be there for you. Actually, the one thing that I did not like was they were given orders to ice my ankle five times a day when I asked the day shift behind the nurses station I was told they weren’t allowed to ice and the only time I got ice for my ankle was at night time and I THINK the nurse's that did ice my ankle for following doctors orders. It actually made my ankle feel better. With everyone helpI actually started helping myself. I’m not one of them people that expected everyone to do everything for me. I want to go home as soon as possible In order for this to happen, I had to learn to do it on my own. So when I got home I did not have to actually depend on people to get me a drink or help me get up and use the bathroom. I could do that part on my own.. Still with a complete ankle replacement I still need the help with showering and preparing meals.. That time of Discharge I’m only allowed 50% weight-bearing on my foot per Dr. Perler. Without this team at Pinellas point nursing and rehab center. If you have issues with anything at pinellas point nursing and rehab center take it up with Nicole the administrator or Nicole the guardian angel. They will make sure everything is straightened out and taken care of. I would not be able to do what I’m doing today. Fantastic experience: I just have to say, if you have to place a loved one in a nursing facility is difficult enough but when you speak with someone within that facility that is so kind, pleasant and calming making your experience less stressful really makes a difference. Thank you to the young lady at reception Michelle Shine ( forgive me if I have your last name wrong) I left feeling like everything with my loved one will be okay, at least she made me feel that way.

Fantastic experience: The experience at Pinellas Point was exceptional. The Administrator, Jose Arroyo provided a through tour with excellent customer service, addressing all questions and concerns. The Nursing Staff and Caregivers were kind and experienced, ensuring top-notch patient care. Therapy team and Dietary team excelled with special attention to meal preferences. The housekeeping and maintenance were well-managed. The facility maintains exceptional high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The collaborative efforts of the staff and family created a supportive environment for healing and recovery. Pinellas Point effectively addresses complex issues with practical solutions. Our family expresses deep gratitude for the kindness and care provided, highlighting the warm and welcoming environment at Pinellas Point Nursing Rehabilitation Center.

Fantastic experience: I wish i can give more stars than 5!!! I love this facility thankyou to ALL the staff!! Management on down!! My dad was in a dark place when he came but NOW he is so happy and very high spirit thanks to you all !!! And also VERY good cooks!!! The staff from management on down came together to make Thankgiving ALL love for our families!!! Thankyou all for all you do!!!❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: As with most places this building is old. I gave five stars because of the staff. Since I got here last night they have bent over backwards to make me comfortable. They don't have an ADA Bathroom which is very important to me, I will not be able to stand on my legs for a month or two and they have restrictions on going outside. I need to be closer to the North side so I can have my friends do my laundry and help me with simple things. So for that to be moved to Northside. Today is Saturday and I moved in here on a Friday and wanted to move to a different place. It was going to be Monday or longer before they could find a place. During the next day or so they found me a wheelchair that was able to turn around in the which made it extremely convenient. I found out that the food is pretty darn good. I've met the doctor and therapist group and they all seem to be wanting to help. Well that's about it for my update. 9/13/20023 Well I've been here since the middle or end of June. I still think that this is one of the better Skilled Nursing Rehab Centers locally. The staff is still very caring and the therapists got my range of motion in my arms to the point where I could function on my own in the kitchen and in everyday activities. The food remained good most of the time. And anytime that I was still hungry after a meal, I could ask for more. Nursing homes are in such need of staff, I'm truly surprised that they get the job done here.

Negative experience: My husband spent one night in this filthy place. The overwhelming odor of urine and feces greets you at the door. Patient room had mold growing on the inside of the window frame. It’s difficult to believe that this place could pass a health inspection.

Fantastic experience: The rehab team is the absolute best! I don’t know how they get the energy! Admin and nursing is responsive and caring!

Fantastic experience: I brought my mother here for rehab after a back surgery and the service was amazing. All of the staff members were friendly and attentive. They were able to meet all of the mothers needs including her increased confusion from her dementia with behaviors. The therapists and nurses were very kind to her and our family. They even have a specific nurse dedicated to wound care that did my mother's surgical dressing daily that was very nice and sweet. The director of nursing is very involved with all patients and family members. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place to any of your family or friends.

Negative experience: Total breakdown of communication within the administration and staff down to communication to families. Doctor they use, very questionable as far as medication given to patients without talking to the family to get possible feedback. Family should be in the loop. I understand HIPPA protocol, but it’s easy , ask they patients for permission. Also lost laundry and no activities for patients. Keep them busy and provide activities. The place is very depressing. Not understanding the 5 star rating.

Fantastic experience: My name is Elizabeth Panus and as a resident of Pinellas Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center since April 2, 2021, I was very pleasantly surprised by the kindness, helpfulness and professionalism of the staff. There were a few staff members who were inconsistent in their care, but for the most part I am very pleased with my overall care and feel I made great gains with all their help and resources. The nursing staff, led by the the DON, were always on time with my meds and care, and answered all my questions. They took care of my concerns, big and small -- from glucose tests and administering meds to getting me water and snacks, and helping me to shower. They even treated me to my favorite drinks (green tea & bottled water). They were willing to WORK WITH ME while managing my diabetes and sincerely listened to my input as I shared 45 years of experience living with this disease. It was refreshing to find individuals who "got me", and actually LISTENED and truly understood my needs! The CNA's delivered fresh water daily & whenever I needed it, helped me with my meals, clothes and dressing. They beautifully made up my bed every morning and were always available even to take me outside in the sun to walk and enjoy the fresh air. The Rehab Staff ; led by Barbara Booker, are exceptional and I feel that I made my most physical gains in over 2 years while I was here at Pinellas Point. The PTA Shantelle and the COTA Rachelle addressed all of my daily functioning needs that I was previously having difficulty with after GI issue, spine injury and Diabetes. I truly believe a nursing home and rehab center is only as good as their Rehab Staff. Everyone on the entire Rehab Team went over and beyond to accommodate my schedule, my moods and my fatigue. They were very positive and greeted me every morning with a smile which in turn helped me to participate to my fullest potential. Most importantly, they made my rehab fun and even when I felt grumpy, I looked forward to it. When in the Rehab gym, I was acknowledged and spoken to even if I was not working with a certain therapist. As I get ready to move on to the next stage at an Assisted Living Facility, I feel stronger, more confident and especially hopeful due to the care I received at Pinellas Point. I highly recommend Pinellas Point for anyone looking for Rehab services. Also, I just wanted to say the food is delish!!!!

Positive experience: Rehab Dept., Absolutely Awesome. Their Staff are very professional but also very caring. You are more than just a patient. You're treated with respect and lots of TLC. They work with you at your pace and encourage you while building not only your strength but your confidence as wel. I have to say I left there Dancing Literally. Great place and people.
