Fantastic experience: I’ve been having back problems/nerve issues for years now and if I ever am feeling like it’s giving me trouble to move around or am tight I always go get dry needling! This place is awesome Dr. Tania is very good at what she does! Couldn’t walk for 2 days due to some nerve issues in my back went to Dr.Tania and the next day was able to resume to normal activity pain wasn’t completely gone but wasn’t sitting on the couch I have another appointment a week later and Ik that all my pain nerve issues will be gone if your looking into it or have never done dry needling I highly recommend! And with Dr. Tania you’ll feel very comfortable, she’s great do yourself a favor and book an appointment!

Fantastic experience: I had might first encounter at St Pete Dry Needling with plantar fasciitis a couple of years ago. I had previously suffered with PF for 18 months before it improved. I went to St Pete Dry Needling the second time I had PF. After one session of dry needling it was markedly better after 3 days and was completely gone after 7 days. An amazing result! This should definitely be tried before one does anything else with the conditions listed on webpage. Thanks Dr. Tania. I will be back with my next sports injury for sure.

Fantastic experience: For me, running entered my life much later than most (at the age of 44). My first run was in 2016 and I recall that ½ mile being one of my most uncomfortable moments. However with time my appreciation and love of the sport grew quickly and in October 2017, I ran my first marathon in 4:47 (Marine Corps in Washington, DC). Since that time I have completed 64 marathons including the 6 world majors (Chicago, Boston, New York City, Berlin, London and Tokyo) as well as marathons in Sydney, Antarctica and Marrakech, Morocco. During recent training, St. Pete dry needling has and will continue to play a significant role in my recovery. Fantastic experience: I had painful tennis elbow for several months, going to weekly PT which helped tremendously but I was still suffering with a horrible ache in my arm at night that kept me from sleeping and then waking up with a very stiff arm. Fantastic experience: I have been using dry needling for the past 10 years; I've tried everything treatment wise and dry needling is the only treatment I have found that gives me relief from my painful chronic muscle knots. The muscle knots became a problem shortly after I had an emergency lumbar spinal fusion with instrumentation due to an accident I was in. When I moved to FL I found Dr. Tania and I am so happy I did! She has been amazing! She takes her time and is knowledgeable about the body. Fantastic experience: I've had severe pain in my elbow from tennis and golf, tendinitis/tommy johns. I've tried every pain cream and treatment you can think of. I heard about dry needling from my girlfriend. I was willing to give anything a shot to get rid of the pain. The treatment was good with only a little discomfort. Fantastic experience: Was recommended to try dry needling for my migraines and I was definitely skeptical as nothing has helped in the past. I was on day 13 of a migraine when I went in. Let me tell you I was surprised by how much it helped! It wasn’t immediate (which Dr. Tania told me it wouldn’t be) but by the next day my migraine had gone from a 10 to about a 7 pain level which for me is HUGE! Going to a follow up appointment for another treatment to try to knock the migraine fully out. Will post another review afterwards!

Fantastic experience: I have chronic shoulder and back pain from a shoulder injury I had surgery on 2 years ago. I try nearly everything to reduce the pain so I can function normally. Fantastic experience: I'd been having horrible neck pain and severe tension type headaches over the past few months that were getting progressively worse. I'd done physical therapy and it helped quite a bit however, the headaches wouldn't ease off. Fantastic experience: I had my first dr needling experience while I was traveling in Australia for the holiday season. The results are fast and efficient. Fantastic experience: Finally, relief! I had C6 disk replacement surgery at 33 to fix a severe football injury from when I was 17. Throughout my entire adult life, I’ve suffered from neck/back spasms and chronic inflammation and tightness. Nothing ever worked. Fantastic experience: An ace up your sleeve for pain! When an old shoulder injury flared up, I tried massage and chiro, which fixed the pain in the moment, but not later. I finally discovered St Pete Dry Needling and one visit got me 90% better, and a follow up took care of it. Dr Tania is super-smart, and the combination of needling, TENS (or something like it), cupping, the giant scraper, and taping works. It’s great to know she’s there next time I am hurting. Fantastic experience: I’ve been dealing with Tennis elbow for 7 months and finally found something helps. Today was my second session although it already feels a lot better since the first session. Dr. Schmitfranz seems extremely experienced with these techniques. I’m not a fan of needles but felt no pain - just a little twitch. My first appt with her also including helping with foot pain. Fantastic experience: I am a head & neck cancer survivor. HPV-16. The intense radiation treatment field was my frontal neck area. As a result, I have severe neck muscle trauma resulting in painful tightening and spasms on both sides of my neck. I was advised to try “dry needling” by one of my doctors to see I could experience some relief. Dr Tonia was my second attempt at dry needling. The first practitioner helped but only on one side of my neck. Dr T’s one hour of treatment has been transformative after just two days. So comprehensive and professional. Fantastic experience: Dr. Tania has been the best person to treat my injuries. I have been dealing with chronic sciatica and piriformis syndrome. I have tried massage therapy, chiropractic care, and even steroid injections by pain management. Sometimes it would help, but only for a short time. After going to Dr. Tania just a few times I noticed a huge difference. Her treatments have helped me to move again and workout again without pain. Fantastic experience: I went yesterday to Dr. Schmitfranz for my chronic and acute upper back pain. Specifically subscapular, traps, and down my right arm with some carpal tunnel sprinkled in. I’m a bartender and a tattoo artist who has been in a serious car accident (2020) that left me with bulging discs and herniations. I am not exaggerating when I said I have been to three chiropractors and more massage therapists than I can count… none have given me the relief that one dry needling session has done. I was referred to by a friend who said Dr. Schmitfranz was the only person to get a knot out of his shoulder, and after my last chiropractic appointment where they worked on my left side (99% of my pain is on my right) I felt defeated and knew it was time. I’ve never done acupuncture before and I’m covered in tattoos, but it is a different experience I’ll tell ya! My family doctor loaded me up with pain pills and steroids still not sleeping and a lot of pain. After my first treatment with dry Needling got a decent nights sleep. I had been experiencing pain in the back of my knee that was progressively worsening over the past few months, stemming from a meniscus surgery I had years ago. It had really started to limit my ability to squat, go for a run, and just move with ease during daily activities. Dr. Tania was very thorough during her assessment and treatment. Under her care, I was able to walk out with improved range of motion and significantly reduced pain levels. Fantastic experience: One word: AMAZING!!!!! After tweaking my knee…Cleaning!!! Not at the Gym ‍♀️. I literally hobbled in and was able to walk out comfortably!!! Magic fix?!? Fantastic experience: My first experience with dry needling was nothing short of amazing! I was struggling with SI pain that affected my CrossFit workouts as well as my ability to sit for long periods of time while working remotely. I walked into Dr. Tania’s office with a pain level of 9 and unable to bend forward or backward and in 1 session my pain levels decreased to a 3 with more mobility! It’s been 1 week out since I’ve seen her pain free and back to my normal schedule! 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful to Tania and St Pete Dry Needling for her ability to relieve my pain and discomfort with her expert knowledge and training. I 100% completely recommend her and her treatments. I wish I could leave 25 Stars. So on a 1 to 5 scale she ranks 25. I have a condition known as Neurological Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Basically the nerves at the base of neck and throughout my upper back, traps and shoulders are knotted up and tangled up beyond belief. This was causing numbness and pain, up to a severe level, throughout my entire right arm. I was loosing range of motion in my right shoulder and experiencing severe tendon pain in my right elbow and forearm. I was unable to lift the lightest of items. I could not move through my day without experiencing some level of pain. Typically, that level was fairly high. Her expert knowledge has helped me move out of pain. The treatment techniques she has expertise with not only includes dry needling but also cupping, taping, and inferred just to name a few. My level of pain before seeing her was 8.5 to 9.5 on a scale where 10 is the highest (excruciating to unbearable). My level of pain now after 3 treatments is a 2.5 to 3.5. This is astonishing and amazing to me. The after effects of the treatment are very long lasting, in that one treatment can effectively alleviate my pain for 3 weeks and after 5 to 6 weeks I am only experiencing mild symptoms. Tania and St Pete Dry Needling are the best discovery and find I have come across in a decade. Truly a gift. I am moved to tears because I can now move through my demanding work schedule and life with ease and a smile on my face. My attitude and temperament are back to carefree fun and humorous where before I was becoming very short tempered, angry and discontented. Tania has helped me more than she knows.
