CHRISTUS Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Center

The CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Center provides care for individuals both in the hospital and out of the hospital.

The CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth has created a cardiac rehabilitation and patient education program to help patients recover quickly and reduce the risk of future heart problems. The program, which is called Phase I, begins while patients are still in the hospital. The first Shared Care Site for advanced heart failure patients who have a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) is located at our top medical facilities, which means that cardiac patients have access to the most extensive care available.

The outpatient facility for Phase II and III cardiac patients is conveniently located just across from our Beaumont medical center's main campus. The program is the only one in the area that is certified through the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). The state-of-the-art facility is designed to help heart patients return to normal activity through prescribed exercise supervised by trained fitness professionals, nutrition and education, and features a fully equipped exercise room.

The CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Center is the only program in the region that is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). The center provides services to both inpatients and outpatients. Cardiac Rehabilitation PHASE I (Inpatient) is one of the services offered.
