Fantastic experience: My mother was here for two weeks after hip surgery. We weren't expecting much after her experience at the rehab on Phillips Rd. But compared to that place, Centre Pointe was really great. The room she was in was big (could have fit two people, if needed) and light. Walls painted a cheery yellow. Had chairs for visitors. The staff were always helpful and friendly and we were always able to reach someone when we called. It was easy coming and out. At the other rehab we had to wait for someone to let us in then fill out 2 forms every time we visited. At Centre Pointe the main door is unlocked and you sign in electronically. So thankful she was able to stay at Centre Pointe this time!

Positive experience: I spent two weeks at Centre Point Health and Rehabilitation Center after I broke my hip. The people there were so kind and caring. The room was nice and clean. I was lucky enough to receive care from a wonderful woman, Miss Jackie. She always had a smile and a kind word. She's an exceptional caregiver.

Fantastic experience: Centre Point Health and Rehab Center is an outstanding facility for recuperating and regaining the ability to function at the highest level possible. Honestly, I didn’t want to come to Centre Point or any Rehab facility. It took me just two hours to begin to fall in love with this place. First, not only is Centre Point clean, it sparkles. I have yet to see any unkept areas. The staff happily takes pride in keeping clean C P but they make sure by taking out any trash in the individual rooms at least three times a day. That extends to the entire facility. The best thing about Centre Point is the employees who go the extra mile to make sure that the patients are as comfortable as possible all day every day. The physical and occupational therapy area is wonderful. Therapy can be long and painful but the PT and OTs make us feel like champions who can conquer any task and meet every goal one day at a time. The therapists are big cheerleaders and work hard to make their sessions productive and satisfying for us. Can’t do it is not a phrase you hear. They only use positive reinforcement to keep us making gains one day at a time. They are also very respectful and take the time to learn our names to make our sessions more personal. Centre Point should be a model for other facilities. Every person here has one goal and that is give everyone their best efforts and make sure that you are better as you leave than you were when you arrived. I really appreciate being assigned to Centre Point for rehab. I actually extended my stay to continue working on my strength and stamina for my upcoming hip replacement surgery. I already know that I will be coming back after surgery for rehab. I really feel that people at Centre Point will give me their best and I will leave walking straight and tall. Thank you so much Centre Point for changing my view of rehab centers and for helping me to accomplish as much as possible to have a better quality of life.

Fantastic experience: You cannot find a better place. The workers are great, everybody is so helpful and pleasant. There has been a great improvement in my health in a short amount of time. John, my therapist is great. If you are not well and need rehab this is where you need to be.

Fantastic experience: There are not enough positive words to describe the whole staff at Centre Pointe. I had the good fortune of being there to recover from hip surgery. Every staff member helped me in some way. To choose to help, in such a caring & skilled way, when someone is totally depending on that is truly God's hands. The woman & men that work there are the reason that I am walking again. I have so much respect & love for everyone there. & I love the Grilled Cheese

Fantastic experience: I found Centre Pointe to be an more than excellent Rehab. The staff of nurses including Debony, Sarah R., and Valarie are kind and caring and bend over backwards for your needs. CNA Montrell washes us like we are the only people being cared for. CNA Ebony made certain I had a proper mattress regarding my back surgery at 10 pm......wonderful admission cna Marcenne, Ms Denise Forbes arnp and Katoria Stewart great Director of Nursing they are compassionate and caring. Therapist Clark and travis our great therapist to work with the push you to succeed. Unit manager Shan an is great ahe cones and great us evey every morning with our concerns

Fantastic experience: The staff at Centre Point was awesome during my 7 day stay. The therapist, nurses, and nurse practitioner Ms. Forbes. They were all great. Very professional and was always asking if I needed anything and how I was feeling. If I ever have to have any rehab. I want to go back to Centre Point. The admin staff kept me informed on my status when I was ready to leave. Thanks to you all at Centre Point.

Fantastic experience: I believe that Centre Pointe is a very good rehab facility. The nurses and aides were very helpful and nice. The physical therapists were very professional and encouraged me to do my best. The food was good and the service over the time I was there was great. I would recommend Centre Pointe to anyone who is considering a rehab facility in this area.

Fantastic experience: The staff & therapists are great. Greta, head nurse and Demetria, case mgr are always willing to talk to family & offer explanations for the processes since we are not able to visit in person. Kelly, therapist helped with several window visits with mom. 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: I spent six weeks here doing physical rehab during the pandemic. It was an excellent experience—private room and bath, good rehab specialists, good equipment, caring CNAs. Everyone was diligent about masks and hand washing. I returned for outpatient rehab.

Fantastic experience: My 83 year old mother broke her hip and was in rehab at Centre Pointe for almost 4 months. While it was difficult not being able to see her due to COVID, we managed well with the help of the staff that always gave us updates on her progress. The physical therapy was excellent and she was especially complementary of her therapist Clark. The Center Pointe staff assisted us transitioning her back to our house by answering the many questions we had. They also followed up after she was home to check on her well being. I highly recommend Centre Pointe for your loved one.

Fantastic experience: They took great care of my mother both times she was placed in their facility. Super attentive and caring. My mother had nothing but great things to say about the nurses and doctors who treated her while she was healing. They really treated her like family and were always very informative and up front about the treatments/therapy she was receiving. It really helped having her there and knowing that she was receiving the care that she needed.

Fantastic experience: I am in my fifth week as a rehab resident at this facility. The physical therapy department impresses me day after day. The space is about 5000 square feet and I am amazed at the number and type of machines. Floor to ceiling windows provide relaxing views of a beautiful wooded area as one completes a variety of tasks based on the needs of the individual. Ten or more therapists are on duty at a given time and I’ve been very impressed with their expertise and compassion as they work with patients. I could not be more pleased with the progress I continue to make under their direction. It is humbling to observe the wide range of needs and to see others making progress day by day. The teams of nurses and assistants take pride in providing the best possible care. As a new shift comes aboard, they are well briefed and they come to each room to assure the patient that they want to help in any way possible. Their care proves their sincerity. My room is large with a high ceiling graced with crown molding. The walls and window treatments are color coordinated and most pleasing to the eye. The bathroom has a “roll-in” shower. Personal laundry is picked up and returned. Each room has its own heat/air system and the resident is in charge of the thermostat! I am able to complete a menu weekly for 3 meals daily. The choices are impressive and my tray always reflects the choices I made. I have now been served almost a hundred meals and the quality and variety has been excellent. The staff also has a variety of activities on a daily basis including puzzles/games, bingo, yoga, music, movies, worship, news summaries and others. These take place in a large dining room that has a screened patio surrounded by flowers and plants to allow enjoyment of fresh air. I consider it a great blessing to benefit from the many strengths of this facility rather than facing rehab in my home alone as a widow and senior citizen. I highly recommend Centre Pointe to anyone needing Rehab.

Fantastic experience: Nurses and assistants.were very cheerful, helpful and positive. Facility was kept clean. Meals were ok. My only concern is when I called for something someone would sat they would take care of it or tell the appropriate person and I'd never hesr back. This was particularly upsetting when pain meds were needed.

Fantastic experience: This facility has taking care of my Mom several times over the past few years. Outside of a few communication errors, they are patient focused and attentive, which is half the battle. Therapy here is extremely well thought out, documented and extensive. Impressed with all aspects of Occupational, Speech and Physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: When I was a patient in rehab I made great improvement and got back on my feet in no time the staff was amazing. I will refer centre point to everyone I know for a good place to get great care.

Positive experience: My mother, here after surgery to rebuild her physical strength, did not attend a physical therapy session until her 4th day of being here! Totally unacceptable if “rehabiltation” is the goal! After 48 hours, I asked for a schedule of her physical therapy plan. I was told, there was no actual plan, they just just get to them as they can. WHAT THE HELL?? Her Sunday noon meal was ONLY a grilled cheese sandwich, and a small glass of tea (Absolutely nothing else)?? Monday, New Years Day, her noon meal was AGAIN a grilled cheese sandwich, a small bag of potato chips, 1 small slice of tomato, and a very small leaf of lettuce, with NOTHING TO DRINK! Although, the majority of staff are friendly and accommodating, as far as I can tell, the rehabilitation is a freaking joke! They told me she will be given physical therapy ONCE per day. If they were truly attempting to rehabilitate, I would think physical therapy sessions would be a minimum of 2 times per day, or more. To say the very least, I am NOT IMPRESSED with this place and I will be moving my mother out to another rehab facility as soon as possible! UPDATE 1-2-2018 Members of the Administration of Centre Pointe met with me today concerning my mother’s future at Centre Pointe. I was assured her treatment regiment would be addressed. Furthermore, I was assured the lack of attention to the meals being served had already been brought to the attention of the individuals in charge and would definitely be corrected. Mom did receive at least 2 therapy sessions today and the rehab staff were very deliberate and focused with the therapy sessions. At this time, I have decided not to move mom and I’ll say I am currently satisfied with her stay, and her treatment, at Centre Pointe. Myself, as well as other family members will be in with mom often and more updates will be added here as warranted. (Hopefully positive one’s)

Fantastic experience: I entered Centre Pointe disoriented. Just had my right ankle completely reconstructed. I thought I could handle myself at home. ( I live alone) One night proved I was very wrong. My take on Centre Pointe is you cannot find a better place in Tallahassee to convalesce than this facility and staff. The personal care extended to me as an individual, nurses, aides, physical/occupational staff, social services staff, was exemplary. Over the top. The newer private rooms rival the finest hotels. And speaking from 4 experiences with Rehab, this staff they have is by far the most knowledgeable and Professional I've ever had. Period.

Fantastic experience: I have to admit after reading these reviews I didn't want my mother to go here for Rehab after her accident and hip replacement. But all I can say is I am 100% happy. Zero complaints. It is very clean, and I can't say enough about the staff. When Mom clicks the call button someone is there asap. Mom also loves the food. She has no complaints. I have lived in Tallahassee 35 years and I heard TMH Rehab is the best - that I don't know. But I think Centre Pointe is the BEST after the last few weeks. Thanks for everything.

Positive experience: Once u get to the facility the occupational and physical therapy is the best in Leon County between the equipment and the staff it is the best and I have been going to rehab and physical therapy offices in Leon county for the last 8 yrs I have severe Neuro and spinal issue's also the cna's to the nursing staff is also top notch including the office staff everyone says hello and they are very interested in u getting better or if u have a issue they handle it immediately. Ron the head of Centre Pointe gets involved to know all his patients to make sure they are ok or just having a great day. Lastly the Dr staff and the NURSE PRACTITIONER that work with the Dr are top notch I definitely recommend here and I am not just saying this it comes from 8 yrs of hurt pain surgeries and rehab oh and bye the way bye October they will have a total remodel plus 5000 sq feet of therapy plus indoor therapy pools which this county has needed for yrs God bless Ron
