Heritage Healthcare Center at Tallahassee

Fantastic experience: After seeing the reviews i tried to find my mom another place as i was concerned as she is my world. I couldnt switch and she ended up here at heritage and i couldnt be any MORE HAPPY. They got my mom recovered in a week and she was back home w me. Shae from station 3 is a GREAT nurse and even better human being. The entire staff was fantastic! !!!!! My mom will need more surgeries and we will be returning HERE for sure . I wish i knew the cnas names but they too were so nice . Its also a nursing home, so you will see things but dont be judgemental as you dont know the whole story and I assure you that patient CARE is there #1 priority. Thanks heritage for returning mom back to me ! I am forever thankful for the heritage center and its outstanding staff !

Fantastic experience: At Heritage Healthcare, the DON Bobbie Finch has gone above and beyond to ensure her patients and their loved ones are taken care of. Our family wanted to take the time to give her the biggest shout out as she has done exceptional with her time at Heritage and has really changed the whole nature of the building since starting with them back in 2019. We noticed a HUGE change in the place when she came in and we are so glad she did. She is truly amazing and we thank her deeply for the wonderful care that she and her team provide at Heritage Health. Tallahassee needs more facilities like theirs. Keep doing great work!

Fantastic experience: I never imagined I'd be in a rehab at 55 years old. I can say it was a positive experience. I was there over 3 weeks and can say the staff, especially PT, is very caring and worked with me to regain my strength and independence.Even though I would not have chosen this experience, I'll always be grateful for their kindness. I can recommend this place for rehabilitation.

Fantastic experience: Stephanie in therapy and her staff are amazing the progress my aunt is making is amazing. I never thought she would gain her strength back so quick after her fall. The Nurses on her hall are great!!

Positive experience: I have been here 3.5 years transfer from pc after Micheal. The staff greet us warmly and treat us with respect and care. Their place is clean. Adrian the kitchen manager is doing a fine job. I have lived in multiple nursing homes and this one standsout by far. They have a robust activities department with lots of outdoor activities such as gardening and birdwatching. Indoor activities include movie nights, trivia night, and bingo to list a few. I have my freedom and plenty to do.

Fantastic experience: I believe this team goes above and beyond for their residents. I see some reviews have negative feedback, so you may read those and believe this is an awful place but they don't mention the good that happens here. The staff at Heritage work hard to keep the residents safe and cared for. They aren't seen as superheroes even though they should be. They have a passion to care for others despite the fact that it is both physically and emotionally demanding. They could give up and walk away but they don't. They continue to push on and do their best to make everyday better than the last.

Fantastic experience: I started working at Heritage one month ago, so far this has been an amazing opportunity and very educational. I love all of the one on one interaction with all of the sweet residents, I’m very thankful for this opportunity to work with such a wonder staff.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I want to thank the staff at Heritage Healthcare Center for getting things in order to transfer our Mother-in-law to a long term facility. Lisa from Social Services and Trenton from ( admin. in training ) went above and beyond helping us with the paperwork. They were a God send. We also want to recognize (D.J. from maintenance) he helped get Grandma’s things to her when we came after hours. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed getting to meet them.

Fantastic experience: I am a new hire to Heritage Healthcare and every member of staff has been so kind and welcoming to me! The facility is clean and the team of nurses are dedicated to their residents. I have seen time and time again where they go above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: My grandfather is here and got excellent care there. The staff went over and beyond to care him. There is bad apples everywhere, but the administrator always addressed timely and in a couple of incidents employees got fired after investigation. Jeanna does an excellent job trying to get rid of the bad apples and always has open door policy to talk with families. Love the staff.

Fantastic experience: Heritage is a great place to work. The environment is welcoming and helpful. The most enjoyable part of the job is ensuring the care of the residents, being a team member. Our management team cares about each individual. I can truly say I have never had a boss like Mrs. Jeanne Hittinger who goes above beyond for the residents and employees.

Heritage Healthcare staff have not only been friendly and helpful, they go above and beyond what is expected from them. Fantastic experience: I have been employed at Heritage for 21 years and it's not by chance that I'm still here. Just like any other facility we have had our ups and downs, but we overcome them all. I truly love being employed a HHCC. The staff are an awesome group of people that are considered family. The hearts of the staff are welcoming, caring and willing to help in any way possible. I would recommend Heritage to anyone in need of therapeutic and/or long term care. There are a lot of new and cosmetic changes that we are about to make. Positive experience: I love Heritage and my team of coworkers we enjoy taking care of our residents and listening and learning new ways to take care of any matter that our residents have. Fantastic experience: My Father-in-Law has been with Heritage of Tallahassee for several months now. From my very first visit I was impressed with the grounds and facilities. The staff that I interacted with were extremely professional and courteous. Anything we needed was done during my initial visit and also all subsequent visits since. Highly recommend this facility to anyone needing healthcare of this nature.

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful facility. The staff are very friendly and professional. The residents are treated with kindness and respect. Residents are able to engage in many activities they enjoy such as community events like bingo or getting their hair and nails done. The staff take extremely good care of the residents and have meetings with residents for ongoing feedback. The resident I know really enjoys living there and is doing so much better in their care. It is a clean facility with knowledgeable and kind staff.

Fantastic experience: My dad is a patient since March, great communication from licensed staff. Staff engaged with patient care. Very happy with his care. Building is cleaner and new furnishings in their family rooms.
