Athletico Physical Therapy - Waco (University & I-35)

Fantastic experience: Megan is so helpful and answers all my questions about exercises and my injury! She really takes her time with every patient and gets to know you as a person as well. I would highly recommend her for your PT needs!

Fantastic experience: This was great for my first experience with physical therapy. This place is very easily to get to from Baylor’s campus, and there are a lot of flexible times around classes. Additionally, I was very comfortable in my exercises and had a lot of progress with regaining a range of motion after an injury. I definitely recommend this location if you need PT as a Baylor student.

Fantastic experience: I had chronic knee pain but not anymore thanks to the Athletico team on 10th street. They have always been so kind and helpful. They have always answered my questions and have been respectful. They are a fun group of people to be around as well as professional.

Fantastic experience: Not sure why it is under my moms name, but I have been coming here since July 2022 and I still have a long way to go with surgery coming up. I love Megan and refuse to see anyone else. I love the whole staff here (thankfully since they have to deal with me for over a year).

Fantastic experience: LOVE THIS PLACE in WACO, TEXAS !! MEGAN, ARTHUR AND BRITTANY make a great team..I had a heat stroke and ended up getting a pinched nerve in the process. So so miserable. I thought I was having a stroke. I am a tennis player and my doctor referred me to this facility. I'm so glad she did. Megan the head PT therapist is very caring and makes you work hard to get back to where you were and even better. I am getting much stronger and look forward to getting back on the tennis court. Fantastic experience: The Team here is Awesome❣️ My daughter is a pt here & they have been working well to strengthen, help her with joint, muscle & nerve pain. I came here from St. Louis, MO. to assist her after she was released from the hospital. It has been a pleasure watching her progress over these last 4 sessions & feel comfortable leaving her, knowing she is in Great Hands here.

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful for Meghan and the who Athletico staff at South 10th st location. When I first started I was so uneasy of how this could go! Fresh off of a 2nd back surgery I was not myself emotionally or mentally. From the time I came into Brittany at the front desk to my wonderful PT and assistant Audrey I’m totally getting back to myself! I’m so thankful that they push me to get better but also while empathizing and making sure I’m not in too much continuous pain! I’ll be forever grateful for Megan!

Fantastic experience: James, Paige, and Shakira are really fun to be around and are really helpful. They will make you laugh the entire time you are there. Athletico is a great place to get a speedy recovery in a friendly environment.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this location. I had an MPFL reconstruction and James helped me recover completely from the surgery on my right knee and is currently helping me on my left. Paige also helps with my PT and gives very good college advice during our conversations. The two of them are amazing physical therapist overall and are very fun to talk to. I have a lot of fun while I'm here. I would 100% recommend this location to my friends.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Athletico Physical Therapy has been excellent and enjoyable. Megan has done an excellent job as my physical therapist, providing helpful exercises and stretches and also just being an enjoyable, kind person. Because of my therapy, I am free of pain and regaining lost strength, which is a positive. In addition, I appreciate the helpful tips Megan has given me about my workouts and maintaining my pain free, healthy status. The student workers are likewise enjoyable and a fun addition. And, of course, Brittany, the patient experience coordinator, is a very friendly and welcoming person when you enter, which is a nice way to start each session. Athletico in 10th street is very accessible and clean, and if you need physical therapy, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: My experience here at Athletico has been nothing but growth and kindness. I came to Waco in August getting around on two crutches expected to walk at the earliest by January. With Athletico’s help I was walking without crutches by October. You get out what you put in and I guarantee anyone that comes to Athletico will find themselves feeling 10x better in just a matter of weeks.

Fantastic experience: I had a torn central tendon in my left hamstring for six months before I can to athletico. They fixed and got me to full strength in 6 weeks!

Fantastic experience: Had surgery for a torn ACL about a month ago, and have been coming here for about three weeks for PT. Everyone is so nice, the facility is clean and comfortable, and I really like my physical therapist, Megan. I’m honestly really surprised at how far I’ve progressed in such a short time, and Megan has made this possible WITHOUT pushing me to constant discomfort. I look forward to seeing where I am in another few weeks!

Fantastic experience: I came into Athletico because of a knee injury. They got me in for an assessment that same week, and I started treatment the following week. Everyone is so friendly, and Josh always makes sure to check how my knee is doing before starting the session. I also have a lot of input on the treatment which I really appreciate. Highly recommend them especially because you don't have to have a referral to get started!
