Fantastic experience: Dr. Don is amazing! He’s so intentional and good about what he does, that I chose to see him nearly a year later when I injured my heel. I could barely walk on it. In just 3 sessions I was back to playing baseball and chase with my two young boys. The pain is completely gone and my body is stronger than before thanks to the workouts and stretches he showed me! He’s such a blessing!

Fantastic experience: I am not a stranger to physical therapy and I have been to other PT providers in the area for different injuries and post surgery recovery. Pure Motion PT is the best experience I have had by far! I love the one-on-one sessions and the atmosphere of the sessions was exceptional for me. Dr Don got me back on track and renewed my faith in his profession. If you want to wait in line behind other patients for equipment and be treated like a number this is not the place for you!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Don is an excellent sports physical therapist. After successful ACL surgery, I struggled to get back to sports. I went through two different therapists at the big-named clinics without much improvement. Finally, I decided to try someone else. I'm so lucky to have chosen Dr. Don. His one-on-one approach and tailored programs made a huge difference in restoring my confidence, strength, and balance. After six months, I improved my knee ability more than in the prior two years. I'm now back to playing soccer and snowboarding and continue to use some of his exercises to maintain my knee stability. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nguyen took me as a patient who was recovering from knee surgery and also had a rotator cuff injury. I am a nurse so being on my feet for 12 hours became almost impossible. Not only did he get me back to normal strength, I am now able to do lower body workouts comfortably that not only have given me my muscle back but also equal strength and balance in both legs. I am now also able to get through my shift pain free which hasn’t happened for me in years. After my knee was back to normal we started on my shoulder. I have been avoiding sleeping on my side, lifting things, twisting open things, and working out for about a year. And the pain at the beginning was pretty unbearable. After spending some time working on strengthening my muscles in both my rotator cuffs, I can officially say I am almost completely pain free. I went from an average pain of 6/10 throughout the day to just a mild 1/10 only at the end of the day but I am still progressing and getting so much better every week. What made the most difference in my life is that I just didn’t get back to “healed”, I am stronger than I have been since I was in high school and I no longer avoid going out and doing things in fear that I might make the pain worse. I am only 26 so the pin I was experiencing before was severely impacting my daily life. I cannot thank Dr. Nguyen enough for changing my life. I was starting to feel hopeless getting passed back and forth between different doctors. I am expecting my first baby later this year and I am so grateful that I can focus all my happiness towards this and I don’t have to worry about limitations getting in the way of raising my first baby. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Don is an amazing physical therapist, I injured my shoulder while weightlifting. I lift 6 days a week and Dr. Don getting me back to being able to lift like I used to was the best outcome from my injury. I was looking for a therapist that would understand how important lifting is to my daily life and Dr. Don is a great sport’s physical therapist in addition to his regular practice.

Fantastic experience: After suffering significant shoulder injuries, Dr. Don Nguyen provided me excellent rehabilitation treatments including massages, exercises, advice, and counseling for my injuries. He attentively listened to my issues I had with pain and consistently applied appropriate massage therapy for its relief. The exercises he had me perform aided me in quick increase of strength and full recovery of arm/shoulder motion. He also provided very excellent printed materials for home exercise that he adjusted each week. He has been the best therapist I have had. For these reasons, I highly recommend his services.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Don is a great Physical Therapist and also just a great guy. I have visited him for two separate injuries, golfers elbow, and a pinched cyatic nerve. Dr. Don was not only helpful in relieving the pain, but he also was encouraging and empathetic along the process of recovery. I can say that my golfers elbow has completely dissipated and while we are still working on the pinched nerve I know I can be confident I will get better under the care of Dr. Don. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have received physical therapy from about seven different places. None has been better for me than Pure Motion. I like the fact that Don Nguyen gives his full attention to each patient for about an hour, rather than working with multiple patients with assistants helping. I think the quality of the services was better because one person kept track of all of my comments and our work together. Don challenged me to push myself to the extent it would benefit me, without causing unnecessary pain. He was available on short notice after I had an incident which required a change in my treatment. My pain was resolved quickly when Don’s hands-on care was combined with my faithfulness to doing the exercises he taught me to do at home. I showed him photos of the equipment at the Y where I like to exercise, and he made recommendations for my long-term program to prevent future pain, and to address any pain that might return. Don and I understood each other perfectly in terms of our American English and our thought processes. He took responsibility for a mistake with the insurance company rather than trying to make me pay extra because of it. If I need physical therapy again, I plan to return to Don Nguyen of Pure Motion.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 would recommend, Dr. Don Nguyen has a good eye for what muscles effect what movements. I've struggled with people knowing what was wrong with my arm until I was recommended to Dr Nguyen. And after a check up he knew which exercises to prescribe me that helped a lot. had to put the work in my exercise prescription, but it was worth it, I feel a lot better now, I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I've had 6 appointments here over the past 2 months and am really happy with the results so far. Over the last few year, I've had off and on knee pain and a more recent pain on my opposite ankle from an old injury that caused my ankle to pop ever since then. Dr. Don Nguyen was attentive to my descriptions of the pain I used to experience and gave me exercises that focused on how to strengthen those areas without causing more pain or injury. Every week, he'd ask again how everything was going so far, check how the affected areas were doing, and give me updated exercises to continue working on. Overall, I'm excited with the results I've received and the care I was given during ever visit. The pain in my knee happens a lot less and my ankle has no pain at all and pops less. Seeing this kind of progress over such a short period of time is incredible.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to share how much I appreciated Dr Don's help on my very first visit. I came in with a nagging him pain that had me limping on and off for over 2 weeks. I thought I injured a hip flexor and after the exam we found something completely different. Dr Don put me through some stretches with immediate relief. It has been pain free since the visit.
