Fantastic experience: I wanted to share thoughts on positives of Interlochen. My father was a resident there for 15 months after being transferred from a different location. I want to take a moment to send special remarks for those staff on the memory care unit specifically Esther, Josephine, Rachel, and Phong/Pung. Each were friendly, acted as angels in my physical absence when I was unable to visit and always took the time to make me feel welcomed or informed of things as needed. They each took the time to really go the extra mile to make me feel like my dad was at home and he was cared for as a person and not just a patient! I can say that if your relative ends up on the memory care unit if in the company of Esther, Rachel, Josephine or Phong (Pung) they will be in the care of friendly and courtesy staff members that will make you feel welcomed. There are others that were kind too however I only know the names of these named individuals specifically on the memory care unit. I sincerely appreciate them all on the unit and I know my dad who is now in heaven does too! My feedback is focused moreso on the memory care unit. I wish this team only God's best! Other feedback includes that of the administration side. Gene (former administrator) was excellent at making me feel welcomed as well as my dad and would call directly if I had questions. Gene although the administrator was kind and easy to approach. Jennifer (BSM, social worker) is helpful and responsive when you have questions. Of the current administrative staff to date, Jennifer has expressed condolences, and prayers as well as Ms. Sonya (former BOM at this location) and Ms. Alberta (BOM) which is certainly greatly appreciated. The front desk staff is always helpful, courteous and friendly. A smile and hello will always greet you when you come into the facility. The rating stars represent the staff interactions, observations of my dad with staff, and how my dad appeared happy in which what would be his last year or more of living.

Fantastic experience: I want to write this review because; it's important to my six sisters for everyone to know words can't thank them enough. First of all Jennifer thank you for Saving my sister's life. I want to thank the Rehab.center For getting her in a wheelchair She's eating on her own and is so happy there.she loves the staff. I want to thank Pon too Thanks to Randi - van driver I encourage anyone to use this nurseing home. We can finally rest in peace.The employees love there jobs. They are kind and go the extra mile. We're all so happy!!!

Fantastic experience: several years ago I was in this facility. It’s an older facility, but everyone here is absolutely amazing from the nurses to the physical therapist. What I like the most is they answer the phones when you call no matter what time of day or night it is and they try to keep you informed on what is going on with your loved one.

Fantastic experience: Considering rise in recent Covid cases, Interlochen has been one of the LAST facilities in the DFW metroplex to have any Covid positive cases- that speaks volumes to the level of infection control that the team has at the facility. The housekeeping department is top notch, ensuring hand rails are always wiped down and floors are always clean. The therapy team works extra hours every day to make sure every skilled patient receives the highest allowable levels of therapy. While it might be an older facility, it is very well maintained and cared for.

Fantastic experience: I came from another facility and it was not an easy move over. After I got acquainted though, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Laweda is the best thing in this home and activities are wonderful. Everyone has become my family here.

Fantastic experience: Great facility with caring staff that shows passion in the care they provide and the people they serve. I work in hospice and I never hesitate to recommend Interlochen for long term care, skilled nursing or rehab in the Arlington area.

Fantastic experience: Recently spent 2 weeks here for rehab on partial hip replacement. Overall it was great people great service. Too many names to list but PT department and nurses made my stay as comfortable as possible. Hats off to Administration to seeing my needs were meet.

Fantastic experience: Interlocking is a very homie and wonderful place if you have to put your parent or loved one in a nursing home. My father loved the food which was all he thought about during the end. The staff was always willing to help if I had a question or a problem. My father was a nice man but sometimes could be quite difficult and they always cared for him and a courteous manner. I was really happy to have found them. My father passed a few months back but I'm very grateful that he was takin care of in his last year. My special thanks to Beverly she treated my father as if he was her own. My thanks to all the nurses who treated Daddy's really well. Thank you to all of you.

Fantastic experience: My dear friend lived at Interlochen for several years and I visited many times. Prior to her being at Interlochen, she had lived at a very fancy and expensive place...until her money ran out. I was very nervous about what Interlochen would be like. Well, no need for worry. The staff at Interlochen were always loving and kind; indeed, my friend preferred them to me, because they were always there to love on and encourage her. I will always be grateful to Interlochen! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: As a RN I had the privilege of assessing one the residents in this facility today for hospice. From the moment I arrived to sign in, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The administrator greeted me as I entered and directed me to where I needed to go. This team represented the highest levels of customer service I have experienced in a long time. Their responses to queries were turned around very fast to help me in getting the clinical information I needed to complete my assessment. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed in their facility all the while caring for their residents. KUDOS to the administrator, the DON & this team for all they do. Fantastic experience: The staff at Interlochen are amazing and do a great job at taking care of their customers.

Fantastic experience: I always believe in giving positive words especially during these times when it can easily go unrecognized. I work for hospice and every time I enter this building, it’s always upbeat and clean. The staff is very friendly and I deal with Jennifer the Social Worker a lot. It is very clear that Jennifer genuinely cares for her residents. She is pleasant to deal with and she always communicates with me very well on what she needs. From a partnering standpoint, I wish every Social Worker was just like Jennifer. The Administrator, Gene, is someone that I have known for years with my tenure in hospice. He is always engaging w the residents and making them laugh. He cares a lot for this building and makes sure there is not even a spec of dirt anywhere. It is always clean and the care here is wonderful. When we place a respite, Interlochen is always our first spot! Highly recommend if you are looking to place a family member.

Fantastic experience: When my father-n-law was diagnosed with dementia, we knew that he needed full-time intensive care. We had tried two other locations for his care, and this did not work out at all. We then found Interlochen Health and Rehabilitation Center. He has been in this center for over a year now and we are well pleased with their care and concern for him. The administrator went as far as bringing him shoes from home so that he would not have to wear his boots during his exercise classes. Thank you Interlochen staff for taking such great care of him. We know that your job is not easy, but you do it so well.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are absolutely awesome. Jennifer, Enrique, Steve James and Gladys. I appreciate you all so much for taking care of my brother. If he hast to come back for long-term care you guys are my choice!! Many blessings to you all. So much care so many smiles.

Fantastic experience: My mom was a resident here for many years. I can't say it was always a great place but for the past 4 to 5 years it was in fact a great place. They took care of my mom, loved my mom and treated her like family. She was cared for like they were treating a family member. My mom just passed away so I will miss the staff there. But even in her final hours the staff came in and hugged and loved on my mom. I can never thank the staff enough for all the love, care and support they gave to my mom. I will forever be grateful. If you are looking for a place for someone you love rest assured that you will be making a good decision by placing them here. Are they perfect? well of course not, but they are great.

Fantastic experience: I had a friend who stayed at the facility for a period of time and he had nothing but good things to say about the facility, and nurses and management. The nurses were very attentive and helpful and the management was on top of everything. They have an excellent nursing director. Over all my friend was very happy and satisfied with his stay.

Fantastic experience: Interlochen was the BEST, after having surgery I needed rehab. When I arrived at the facility, the nurse Enrique and the aide James made me felt like I was in good hands, and I have to say I was. The next day the morning nurse Gwladys and the aide Kathy just confirmed I made the best choice in coming to Interlochen they were excellent. The staff was so friendly, anytime I saw someone they always spoke and asked if I needed anything. The Rehab Team, I can't say enough good things about. Tammy and her entire rehab team was PHENOMENAL, I arrived in a wheelchair and left the facility walking on my own. You can tell they love what they do. If I had to say one word about the Rehab team at Interlochen, it would be AWESOME. Big Thank You to Gene the Administrator and the entire Interlochen team for the great care.

Fantastic experience: Interlochen is the best, I think about them everyday. My dad ate better, and exercised and smiled more after we placed him at Interlochen. I am not sure how many people work there, but I believe everyone that was on staff went by my dad's room to say hello everyday.

Positive experience: My mom has been at Interlochen for about two years. I can say I feel more comfortable with her being there than some other facilities I have visit. Most of the workers are friendly and show that they really care. So overall I have not experienced a bad situation as of yet. Mostly everyone I have come in contact with have treated me with respect. I appreciate that.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are very loving and treat the patients like they are family. The facility is very clean and food is good. The residents are loved on daily by the staff. The residents love the Activity Director and she keeps them very engaged. The social worker is a very hard worker and is the glue of the team. Nursing department is good. Administrator is very kind. Great place!

Fantastic experience: It is truly an honor to have the staff at Interlochen care for my father. The staff have a motto, "we are family" and they treat the resident like a family member. They cared for my dad better than I could have. If you are looking for a place please consider Interlochen and tell them I sent you (LOL).

Fantastic experience: I am so extremely grateful for the care and compassion that the staff has shown to my dad during has last 3 weeks. My dad spoke very highly of the staff, the food, the bed-all of it. He said he loved it there. Once all of the protocols were put in place for families to start visiting, Gene made it possible for me to come when i could to be by my dad's side during his last week. The staff really bonded with my dad and shared all of the wonderful times they had with him.

Fantastic experience: I'm personally in the health industry and have seen the remarkable changes with this facility. It all starts at the top and Gene Compton the administrator has done a great job of turning things around, and everyone buying in. The Social Worker Jennifer is easy to get along with and I've seen her in action. She truly cares about her patients... and has patience with all their needs. Staff and nursing is another plus. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Excellent care, friendly staff and the food is great. Administrator is very attentive to our needs and welcomed us on arrival. Director of Nurses is wonderful and caring. Building is older but very clean. You can tell that the staff are happy and go the extra mile to meet our needs. Interlochen Nursing and Rehab is the hidden gem of Arlington. I highly recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: Very caring staff. Gene the administrator, is very passionate about his patients receiving the best care as possible and will go out of his way to make sure they are taken care of. I have seen him multiple times on the floor assisting his staff. Very caring team.

Fantastic experience: My Father-in-law is a resident at Interlochen Health and Rehab Center, I am impressed with the care they give him. If there is a slight change in room, diet, or medication with him, they call my husband immediately, they keep him updated. The staff are so friendly and professional they greet us with a smile as soon as we walk in. I tell everyone who maybe looking for a place for their loved ones, come here.

Fantastic experience: Wow everyone cares. My husband said best care ever. And he been in 3. The Nurses ,aids cooks, thepary . Office personal ,Laundry are so very awsume. Thank you EA individual that works there bless you.

Fantastic experience: Interlochen is a fun loving place.I have been an employee here for around one year and the residents here are so happy and comfortable. The activities department is amazing and I’d recommend this facility to my own family.

Fantastic experience: Don’t let the exterior of this facility fool you. It is who and what is inside that counts. My 77 year old Mom has been here for about 6 weeks. She was brought in in a wheelchair and with all their kindness and preserverance, she is walking with a walker down the halls. They are even getting her ready to go home soon. Of course the patient has to be willing to work hard too. That was something that my Mom didn’t want to do at first. Tammy, one of the team in PT, didn’t let mom give up. And now she is seeing the benefits of her hard work. The only thing my Mom doesn’t like there is the food. It’s pretty bland she says. We would highly recommend this place. The PT department is great!

Positive experience: I was very impressed with the entire staff. From housekeeping to social services to nursing all the way up to the director. NEVER ONCE have I experienced nothing but positivity, caring, and professionalism from everyone. I truly felt like everyone cared about my healing and rehabilitation. I especially would like to praise the entire therapy dept from my personal physical, occupational and speech therapy I experienced, ALL members of the therapy team were friendly and very professional as well as kind. I also got a sense that they really enjoyed their jobs and actually liked working with each other which translated into me feeling very comfortable with my personal recovery.

Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience. We were nervous about mom going there but everyone was so nice.

Fantastic experience: Food was delicious. They have a great therapy team especially Mo. I enjoyed the activity snacks. Today i go home and i can for the first time put on my tennis shoes because there staff really knew how to take care of my foot. If it wasnt for Colbie Ellis coming to my apartment and helping me pack and making sure i had all my belongings i dont know where i would be today. I am very greatful for everyone at Interlochen and recommend this place to everyone.
