Our team strives to make your physical therapy experience as pleasant as possible while working with insurance companies and billing. We understand your road to recovery can be complicated enough, so we've worked hard to make our billing and insurance process easy to understand.
You can still see us! See the "Our Services" page for our cash rates that are discounted to be cheaper than what we bill insurance companies. This also means less paperwork and no doctor referral required!
The short answer is NO. Our therapists do not use a 'no pain no gain' philosophy. We don't "crank on knees" or tell you to "suck it up". It is a common misconception that physical therapy hurts! Our job is to make you feel better, so any discomfort involved in that process should be 100% worth it and 100% okay with you.
No! A doctor's referral or prescription is NOT required to see a physical therapist. However, some insurance companies DO require a referral if you want your insurance to cover it. This includes Medicare and a few others. Call us to find out if your insurance requires one.
PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE CLINIC IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL, EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED NOT TO BE TESTED FOR COVID-19 OR HAVE TESTED NEGATIVE FOR COVID-19, PER UPDATED GUIDANCE ABOUT WHAT TO DO IF YOU’RE FEELING SYMPTOMATIC:
o Please stay home and isolate yourself until: You have had no fever for at least 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medicine) AND Other symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, headache, chills, sore throat, muscle aches or lost of sense of taste/smell) have improved AND At least 10 days have passed since your symptoms first appeared.
o Anyone in your household you have had close contact with (within six feet for approximately 10 minutes) should self-quarantine for 14 days, even if you haven’t been tested for COVID-19
As the concerns about the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) intensify, we thought it would be helpful to share what Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation P.C. is or has been doing to make your therapy appointment as safe as possible. The health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Thankfully, we are a small, low-volume clinic so we feel that the risk to our patients is much lower than higher volume or hospital based clinics at this time.
The first step we took was to educate our workforce using validated resources such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and the US Department of Health.
The second step we took was to evaluate our ability to continue to provide services without increasing exposure risks to you, to our visitors and staff. As part of that process we made a list of questions to ask to ascertain if any of these individuals:
Have had any contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19, persons under investigation for COVID-19 or anyone with flu-like symptoms (fever, cough and shortness of breath). The exposure could be to spouses, partners, family members, friends, work colleagues, social group members, fellow students, church members or any other persons or groups where there could be personal contact (within 6 feet).
Have had any worrisome symptoms: fever, cough or shortness of breath in the past 14 days. If positive for symptoms we are asking them to contact their physician for guidance and if they are permitted to travel in the community to call the clinic prior to arriving. Please stay home if you have any worrisome symptoms!
The third step we took was to intensify our housekeeping & infection control procedures to assure that we have minimized contact with anything or areas that could harbor harmful bacteria or viruses. In doing so we are asking all individuals who enter our clinic to:
Practice good hand hygiene (frequent handwashing) as well as good cough and sneeze etiquette (cover mouth with tissue when coughing or sneezing and deposit the tissue in a hands-free trash can or cover your mouth with your elbow if tissues are not immediately available).
The fourth step we are taking is to adapt our schedule to accommodate our immunologically compromised patients including but not limited to the frail or elderly. We will be offering a “Digital Visit” option to allow for any patient to be complete their treatment visit through a secure telehealth system. All insurances are now required to cover telehealth during the health crisis!

Rocky Mountain Rehab Physical Therapy: Reviews
Fantastic experience: These guys are the best! I've been a strength coach, personal trainer, and fitness educator for years; the Rocky Mountain Rehab staff are forward thinking, experienced, and go well beyond expectations with their patients. I refer my clients here before they're injured and they come back raving about how good they feel!
Fantastic experience: I saw Jeremy Snyder for physical therapy after shoulder surgery. He is extremely knowledgeable and assisted me to 100% recovery. I have referred family and friends to Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation without any reservation of outcome. The office staff was very helpful dealing with my insurance company and always very professional. Thank you for such a positive experience!
Fantastic experience: Sarah was my physical therapist and I couldn't ask for a better experience, and more importantly, a better result. In addition to Sarah, the entire staff was welcoming and professional. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Rehab.
Fantastic experience: Couldn't ask for a better group to help me get back to full health. The office is very nice and everyone makes me feel like family. I've worked with Jeremy through 3 surgeries and his knowledge has made each recovery progress very smoothly. He is one of the top therapists using dry point needling and I can say without his expertise, I wouldn't be able to continue recreating to the level I desire. I've even called in with questions and recieved help from out of state. If you want the best care possible from great people go to Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation.
Fantastic experience: I had a total knee replacement in August 20113 in Columbus, GA. Within three weeks, I was bending my knee 138 degrees. Additionally, I received a call from my company asking me to fly to Colorado Springs and manage a project for 90 days. I agreed and three plus weeks after surgery, I was in Colorado Springs, working on an an engineering project on a mountain. I was told by my physical therapist in Columbus, GA that I should look for a therapist who was qualified to do needling and had a lot of initials behind their name. That's how I came to contact Rocky Mountain Rehab. Let me cut to the chase. If you are looking for a rehab center that makes the ever-increasing expectations of the patient their top priority in this challenging climate then contact Rocky Mountain Rehab. I had serious pain in my quadricep and hamstring area. By consistently providing a personalized and tailored response to my physical therapy requirements, I was able to go home on December 19th virtually healed and pain free. Delivering outstanding patient service can only be achieved through motivated, friendly employees who have the knowledge and skills to provide long lasting healing results on an individual basis. The entire Rocky Mountain Rehab team understands that building a service culture is the critical ingredient to long term patient healing, from Amanda answering my questions and taking care of insurance issues to Jeremy and Sara designing a rehab program specifically for me. Everyone enjoys getting good service and Rocky Mountain Rehab consistently delivered exceptional patient service. No matter what your aliment, if it requires physical therapy in the Colorado Springs area, then make your way to see Rocky Mountain Rehab.
Fantastic experience: RMR, you guys rock! People don't know that I tore my MCL a week before my fight and with your help I was able to reduce the damage and still fight. You guys took very good care of me and help me perform to the best of my ability even though I was facing a bad injury. Dr. Jeremy Synder, you are the best and so knowledgeable. You really help me to improve the range with my knee and your Trigger Point Dry Needling really help my shoulders and upper back muscles relax and reset. I felt like well oiled machine going into that ring on Friday. Thank you so much!
Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Rocky Mountain Rehab more. I've been going to see them for over a year now, and as a busy college student that's definitely saying something. I barely have time to keep up with my work, let alone schedule weekly or monthly appointments with Rocky Mountain. But I do it because I look forward to every appointment. The scheduling process is also unbeatable- making appointments is easy, they always call to remind me of my appointment if I need it, and I have made many last minute changes to meet my busy life. (I'm sure they don't love that, but they always do whatever they can to work with me!) The staff is attentive and determined, and I feel fully supported. Other physical therapists that I've been to in the past seem to be dealing with multiple clients at a time, but I always feel like my time is valued and my physical therapist is totally focused on me for the entirety of our session. I see Sarah, and she has made such a difference in my life. I originally saw her from a rugby injury in my shoulder, and she has emotionally and physically led me through the recovery process. She's really been on my team the whole time, and I feel so grateful to have her as my physical therapist. Rocky Mountain Rehab is the way to go, I'd recommend them first every time.
Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Jeremy on and off for about 3 years now. He really knows his stuff, especially when it comes to dry needling. I've entered in agony and left in ecstasy (alright, not ecstasy, but pretty darn close). My favorite thing about Jeremy is that he is an athlete himself and understands that, for an athlete, recovery doesn't mean getting back to 70 or 80 percent, it means getting back to as close to a hundred percent as possible. Everyone at RMR is friendly and awesome. When I stop needing PT, I'll definitely still drop by periodically to say what's up.
Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a great facility with an outstanding staff this is the place!! Jeremy really took the time to sit and understand my injury. He was able to isolate the problem and uses outstanding techniques to help my shoulder to a speedy recovery. Rocky Mountain Rehab was my biggest asset in a timely and healthy recovery! I can not be more grateful for the outstanding therapy that I received here!
Fantastic experience: I was in a motorcycle accident in June, 2012 and broke my leg — an accident that required a total of four separate surgeries. I began working with Jeremy Snyder at Rocky Mountain Rehab shortly after the wreck and have continued seeing him ever since for regular care. I literally learned to walk again at RMR and am now working on learning to run again. I get regular dry needling done with Jeremy, which greatly helps with pain management and mobility. He and the warm staff also assess my movement closely -- training me in strength and conditioning exercises and making sure that I'm rebuilding proper movement habits. I've learned a ton just talking with them all during my appointments and Jeremy is amazing at assessing just where my trigger points are and helping me view my whole system as a very complex, interrelated structure. From low back, hip flexor and knee joint, my tightness will often move around as I've had to compensate for weak muscles due to the extreme atrophy early on. At times I'd get discourage or feel plateaued, but Jeremy's positivity and support has always helped me get back on track. When you go through something as life-altering as a severe accident, you start worrying about things you'd never had to before -- simple things you take for granted, like walking. A good physical therapist brings peace of mind and the necessary encouragement to get through it all and get your life back. That's what I've found during my time at RMR. I even wrote a story about my experience for the Colorado Springs Independent. I strongly recommend RMR should you ever need the type therapies I have.
Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Jeremy Snyder today. He took so much time to assess my situation and my needs, and he had answers to all of my questions ... and then some. He was incredibly knowledgeable and gave me small exercises to do at home and at work, and it already helped. I have been dealing with my issue for a long time now, and Jeremy is the first therapist who was able to give me hope - during our first session. It was incredible!
Fantastic experience: I had a stroke in 2017, and did some in-patient and out-patient physical therapy at Penrose Hospital at the time. Years later it was suggested I try some more therapy to work on lingering problems with balance and strength on my right side. My therapy at Rocky Mt. Rehab was facilitated by Kylee Hutchins, one of the resident PTs there. I was in practically in tears with the improvements I made under her care. She's not only an outstanding clinician, but a great teacher and encourager. I'm currently working on some home exercises she gave me and I'm thrilled with the results. EVERY SINGLE PERSON in that office treated me kindly and professionally, and I say this as a person who retired after 48 years in the medical profession, where I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly, so to speak. It's been a stellar experience and I can.'t recommend them highly enough!
Fantastic experience: The staff is so welcoming, efficient, and friendly. Nate was my PT and helped me overcome and understand my nagging back pain, but also gave me enough tools to feel like I didn't have to rely on him anymore. Truly a great practice, highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: I was hit by a truck as a pedestrian early this year leading to a neck surgery and shoulder injuries. I have been seeing Kylee at Rock Mtn Rehab since my post surgical treatment. She has been a HUGE part of my recovery. I’m so grateful to her and her immense knowledge and passion about what she does. She so clearly cares deeply about each of her patients. If you need a great physical therapist, I highly recommend Kylee and the team at Rocky Mountain. Janelle at the front desk is so kind and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of as well. They have both been a bright spot for me in a very challenging time.
Fantastic experience: I couldn't reach above my head before going in, then I shook Jeremy's hand. Now I can do previously impossible tasks, such as: putting on my shirt, picking apples (off the tree), turning off the smoke detector, get that top shelf liquor, putting that top shelf liquor back on the shelf because I can't afford it, showing my cub all the land that belongs to him, and more.
Positive experience: Nice office and staff :)
Fantastic experience: I've always had great experiences here. Jeremy is very knowledgeable and thorough. He's helped me with knee and shoulder injuries.
Fantastic experience: I'm so glad I switched to this place. It gave me context for comparison. My PT Sarah Collins is great; super hands on, friendly, ready to explain anything and a very good listener. The facility is a convenient location with good parking as well as roomy and well lit. Front desk staff are courteous and helpful. Will recommend to others!
Fantastic experience: Jeremy is the best! Has me running PAIN FREE after 8 years! I mean PAIN FREE and I’ve been running for 30 years. Every other doctor and therapist has told me I need to stop running but not Jeremy. He did a great physical assessment on me. I did the exercises he taught me and at 45 I’m running an 8 minute mile which I haven’t been able to do in years. I would recommend him to any runner, athlete or anyone who wants a thorough assessment and results that work! All you have to do is the exercises he prescribes. Best PT I’ve ever worked with. Thanks Jeremy for truly changing my life.
Fantastic experience: Scott has been treating my daughter and myself and is amazing at his job. He is great at evaluating what the best treatment plan is for the both of us. We definitely recommend him.
Fantastic experience: I've been in 3 car accidents in the last couple of years and to 2 other physical therapists without much luck. I heard about Scott at Rocky Mountain and read some great reviews. Well he has been working some magic on me and I'm feeling better and better as the weeks go by. I really appreciate him not going for the quick fixes but working on all the surrounding areas to get my neck's mobility back and to have the migraines all but disappear. Scott has continually uploaded video exercises for me to do and been an absolute pleasure to converse with. Thanks so much!!!
Fantastic experience: I am so pleased with the results I had in just a few weeks. Jeremy Snyder is my PT - he’s very personable, knows his stuff and is very encouraging! I highly recommend both Jeremy and RMR! Thanks to Jeremy and the staff!?
Fantastic experience: Facing my third shoulder surgery, I decided to be pro-active on finding the right Physical therapist. Rocky Mt. rehab was on my list of potential rehab clinics. They were recommended by The Steadman Clinic in Vail Colorado.( Rated one of the best in the USA) I have been to many” Puppy Mill Rehabs” in the past., where you are lucky to see the same therapist twice in a row, and each therapist sees 2 or 3 people at the same time. There is no way that kind of environment can possibly give people the individual attention they need or deserve to heal from an injury or surgery. After visiting several places and interviewing who was going to help rebuild my body after a major surgery, I went to Rocky Mt. rehab. There I interviewed my soon to be therapist Dr. Scott Jones. He sounded like my guy. One on One therapy, with a very impressive set of credentials. I was not disappointed. Scott is like a Physical Therapist, Massage therapist, and Chiropractor all in one. His knowledge and cutting edge techniques far surpass my past experiences with other therapists. Listen people -- do your homework and interview the therapist and place that your going to “Hire” to get you were you want to be physically. After all it's your body. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Rehab
Fantastic experience: Being an avid runner isn't always easy, there are almost always lingering injuries that will stop you in your tracks. Dr. Scott Jones has played a key role in keeping me healthy and competitive. I appreciate that he doesn't only focus on the injury, he goes for the dysfunction that caused the injury. I do always walk out with immediate relief from the dry needling with electrical stimulation, it works wonders on resetting my motion patterns!
Fantastic experience: The Physical Therapists here are absolutely top notch, and the scheduling staff are always super friendly.
Fantastic experience: As a fellow Physical Therapy business owner I can tell you this clinic has consistently been one of the best in the Springs. Ed Belding is the example set for medical practitioners in excellence and passion. This group is one I have recommended for treatment and will continue to do so. Joel, owner Cornerstone
Fantastic experience: I would like to highly recommend Scott from Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation. Scott is passionate about his work and extremely knowledgeable in his field. He takes the time to get to know and understand his patients. After one detailed session with Scott, I was already starting to see improvements to my workout. I would highly recommend Scott to anyone who is looking for a dedicated and attentive physical therapist who knows his stuff!
