Fantastic experience: NOVERA is an absolute miracle! This headache center took away my 13 year old daughter’s migraines. Before this headache center she was constantly missing school because of her headaches. Ever since we’ve been going to Novera her migraines are completely gone and she can finally live her life without the constant fear of migraines.

Fantastic experience: Novera and the therapists there changed my life. I've suffered with migraines and extreme jaw tension/ jaw clinching since I was 10 years old. I tried everything and even considered jaw surgery and voluntary (unnecessary) dental work. I've missed school, work, family events, I've suffered on vacations, and struggled most of my life with pain. After only a handful of in person treatments at Novera, I have more mobility than I ever have. I can move my neck and jaw freely, I am not grinding my teeth at night and the tension I carry in my shoulders has decreased dramatically. Fantastic experience: 8 months ago I was looking at wheelchairs...now I'm driving!!! I hadn't driven for over two years due to constant vertigo, couldn't go anywhere with bright lights, and had to coordinate with family and friends to arrange rides to all my various appointments and errands. And things were just getting worse. It was getting hard to walk-I had to use a cane, and my husband had begun looking into wheelchairs for a few years down the road. And then my husband stumbled across Dr. Taves' podcast on vestibular migraines. As I listened to it, I dissolved into tears; I wasn't alone in my symptoms and, best of all, there was someone out there willing to listen and actually try to help me. After a virtual appointment, during which he gave me my first exercises, I almost immediately started noticing a lessening of pain. After a single in-person appointment with him, my Chiari migraines stopped almost entirely. And then, after a full week of daily appointments, that horrible, unceasing dizziness WENT AWAY. I was again able to do all the little things I had missed in life: go down a water slide with my sons, watch Top Gun 2 with my husband, walk through a brightly lit grocery store. But, most exciting of all, I now own my own car and can run my own life again! I can never thank Dr. Taves enough for giving me back an independent life! It is an indescribable gift. He is compassionate, gentle, confident in his treatments, and an all around miracle worker!

Fantastic experience: I purchased the virtual coaching package: 8- 45 min sessions spread out over a few months, where physical therapist and neck expert Jono basically healed my headaches. This guy knows some stuff you won't be told anywhere else to the level of specificity that he does. First appointment I was to relate all my headache troubles going back decades, then progressively, every session I was given a few simple to intermediate stretches along with some simple exercises for the neck to practice daily. Immediate relief within a couple of days! Simple stretches would alleviate my headaches minutes after they would start. Progressively, 7 months later: two and a half headaches in 5 months VS before that for over 20 years having headaches every couple of days! All bodies are different but mostly all human necks function the same, so book at least one appointment and see if this is for you. I didn't know it would help me, but you have to believe me, my headaches were life altering, miserable, painful and relentless especially with barometric pressure changes, and Jono fixed that by showing me how to trigger movement in areas of the neck that no physical therapist can touch (in my opinion). No drugs, no gimmicks, and actually a straight up nice guy to talk to. Worth every penny! It will be an investment, it's not cheap, and it will take self discipline, so this is serious. But if your headaches are that bad, and you're willing to do anything, you gotta speak to Jono. Stop popping pills, stop wasting money on other things and pay Jono a visit or book online, he may change your life! He's in Colorado, I'm in North Carolina... didn't have to step out of my house the whole time. Just try it!

Fantastic experience: Excellent in every way! I have been going for over a year for serious migraine problems. I have 90% less headaches than I did before I found Novera. No medicine of any sorts has been given or offered. This has all been accomplished with physical therapy work in office and home. Office staff is extremely courteous and thoughtful. Fantastic experience: I cant recommend this place high enough. I was getting to the point where I dealt with 2 migraines a week and could barely function. Just 1 session a week with Becca for the last few months and the migraines have basically dissapeared. It can be a rough process but the results speak for themselves. Fantastic experience: I really can't thank Novera enough for their services. Since starting physical therapy with them, I have rocketed to an almost complete headache free life. I learned everything virtually with their program since I live in California. I've been doing my exercises and stretches daily and I've been able to get back to regular cardio exercises daily for several weeks now. My energy levels are up and my mental state is healthy. Fantastic experience: I am THE skeptic of anything that 1- costs money 2- says they can cure something and I haven’t heard of it before. For me dizziness I went to urgent care, primary care, ENT referrals and have an MRI scheduled. Then my friend told me to go see Novera bc she found relief from their treatment so I tried it out. I was SUPER skeptical even AS it was helping my symptoms… and then on my 4th session my dizziness was literally gone. Its been 2 weeks and it hasn’t returned! A few months ago I started to have this dizziness that felt like I was walking on a ship at sea, my body felt like it was swaying and it increased over time to be all day and it got worse and worse. I was super scared, thinking I was dying or something (yes, probably some irrational anxiety in there)… and am SO grateful I found this place. If you have headaches or dizziness it’s going to fix that for you, so just do it.

Fantastic experience: Novera has been life changing. Before coming here I was taking ibuprofen about 6 times a week for headaches and pain, along with my migraine medication about 2-4 times a month. I have seen a significant improvement where I no longer take ibuprofen that much and I have seen a major change in the way my migraines have presented themselves. To the point I developed a minor migraine while out hiking and forgot my Ubrelvy, but I ended up not needing to take it as my migraine was very minor and ended quickly. My every day has been improved greatly, and my migraines are much less debilitating. I am not yet done with going to Novera, but with the changes I have seen in a short time I imagine more changes are sure to come. I wish I had come here sooner.

Fantastic experience: I am SO thankful for this place! Kelsey is amazing! I came to their office super skeptical that they would be able to help me. I had been having headaches off and on for years but by the time I finally went to see them I had had a headache or a migraine everyday for 3 months. I was getting frustrated with my doctor who kept giving me pills to try without addressing the cause. I was afraid to be hopeful when I went to see Kelsey, but decided to give the process a try. I am so thankful that I did! I feel so much better. I might have a small headache here or there, but it goes away faster and without the meds I used to have to take. Novera is worth the try if you have headaches or neck issues! I can't say enough good things about this place.

Fantastic experience: I have suffered from migraines with aura for 16 years. I found Dr.Taves’ podcast last year and started listening regularly and applying it to my life. I was on vacation in Colorado in May and decided to make an appointment to be evaluated while in town. I am so glad I was able to go in person to be evaluated because it gave me great hope to get control of my life again. Prior to that I was starting to try prescription medication which I really did not want to do. I then began a virtual coaching package and started using the Sam device in addition to my other exercises and lifestyle changes and have significantly decreased the amount/severity of migraines. Fantastic experience: I have experienced headaches and migraines for several years. I have previously tried several different medicines and done a couple rounds of physical therapy. I found the Novera Headache center online, but hesitated to make an appointment because of the distance I would need to travel. I decided to go for a consultation visit and set up sessions. I wish I would have gone sooner. I didn’t know what to expect. Dr. Taves did a great job of explaining why I got headaches and the process he would use for my treatment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Novera headache center to anyone suffering from headache and migraines.

Taves and Stoerzbach have a passion to help, are good listeners and most of all they know how to treat the root cause of migraines instead of looking to medications to only mask the symptoms. We need more clinics like theirs to employ the same approach in helping those with migraines. Bria is also very talented. I am amazed at her ability to listen and empathize. I live in Pennsylvania and she was always ready to change schedules in way that allowed me to have decent flight times in and out of Colorado Springs. Novera has not only made a drastic impact in my life, but also for my family (in having to live with me). I am in my 40's and have had migraines since I was 5 years old. The migraines have been chronic for about the last 15 years. I have seen countless health care professionals including having been to 3 headache specialists in Philadelphia and Chicago. I spend a week in a hospital in Chicago to try to get the migraines under control. I've tried physical therapy, chiropractic, TMJ specialist, ear nose throat specialist, pain management and nearly every prescription medication and injection that could be prescribed for migraines. None have been very helpful. I had migraines on a daily basis before coming to Novera. I was skeptical to try physical therapy again, but out of desperation for any help I could find I gave Novera a try. Having a migraine is now beginning to become a rare experience in only a short number of treatments even after stopping all the preventative medications I was taking.

Fantastic experience: I was very grateful to have found Novera through Dr. Taves' podcasts! I started to have debilitating headaches after a potential neck injury due to sleeping wrong. No doctor could tell me what was wrong and all they wanted to do was put me on medication. Living in California, it would be a little tough to see Dr. Taves, luckily he has an online treatment plan. This allowed me to meet with him over video chat and was able to assess my neck issues and go over the exercises I would be doing in the comfort of my own home. Im happy to say my neck feels much much better, my headaches have significantly decreased. The most important part is that I felt heard and supported through the whole process! Fantastic experience: I am a chronic migraine sufferer who has struggled with horrible migraines for over twelve years. I have tried every treatment under the sun. I have seen multiple neurologists, pain specialists, chiropractors, etc. I have tried every medication, botox, nerve blocks, diet changes, and everything I could possibly find. I am a middle school teacher and my migraines have made my job nearly impossible. I have questioned whether or not it is realistic for me to keep my job. Earlier this spring a friend reached out and recommended Novera. I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Taves and scheduled to travel from Nebraska to work with him in Colorado in June. Fantastic experience: I had been dealing with migraines on a weekly basis and headaches almost every day for about 7 years. I have tried changing my diet, wholistic remedies, and lots of meds given by a neurologist. My last step was Botox which helped for 2 1/2 months at the cost of $1,500. When the Botox wore off I was at my wits end and literally googled “headache help.” My headaches stopped after my first visit with Dr. Taves. I did have 2 migraines in the early part of treatment but none since. This has been life changing for me, no meds, no neurological appts. I fully support Dr. Taves' mission which includes educating patients and their doctors on the importance of getting early referrals to Physical Therapists like himself who understand the connection between neck pain, C1 and C2 function and headaches/migraines. By getting help from knowledgeable Physical Therapists like Dr. Taves, I hope one day patients will find timely relief from their headache pain instead of plodding through years of limited success with medications and services from providers who don't know how to treat cervicogenic headaches. Fantastic experience: Over the past few years, I had seen a decrease in the ability to turn my head to the left or right and almost got to the point where I could barely move my head at all. To add fuel to the fire, I was constantly plagued with nagging headaches all day that I attempted to remediate with caffeine. After seeing how much Novera had helped my wife and from reading the other google reviews, I decided to give it a try. After my first session with Dr Taves, I felt so much better and was able to move my neck more than I had been able to for months. I have had several appts with Dr Taves and Dr Stoerzbach and I am almost completely back to normal...no headaches and able to easily move my head from my left shoulder to right shoulder. Fantastic experience: I started going to Novera after I had reached a point of having daily headaches. Nothing else seemed to be helping and I was desperate to find relief. I found myself having to take breaks every afternoon and I was saying no to my kids more and more because of the headaches. I was so happy to find Novera because I loved that its a natural approach and Dr. Taves did a great job listening to my concerns. Every dollar and every mile is worth it. For 15+ years I suffered migraines, some years they came 3 times a week and if I wasn't fighting off a migraine I was dealing with intense, distracting headaches. I'm proud to say I'm migraine free, rarely have a headache and have the knowledge and tools for home care to keep this standard of living I now have. I'm a new person after 12 sessions and two months of care. Not only are my migraines gone, my mood, my personality and the relationships around me are better due to not having that fog over my head 24/7. I'm proud to say I have my life back. And I owe it all to Novera headache center and it's top notch Dr and staff.

Fantastic experience: I had migraines and headaches for years, but they had really ramped up over the last year with 3-4 migraines a month and daily headaches. It was like I couldn’t catch a break from headaches, couldn’t sleep, hard to focus, and very stressful. Like many busy moms, I kept waiting for it to get better rather than finding time. Fantastic experience: After suffering from headaches for years, I assumed the chronic pain was just something I would deal with for the rest of my life.
