Fantastic experience: I don't know where to start. Kim is an angel sent from heaven. She was able to help my 13-year-old daschound, who somehow injured herself and could not move her back legs start walking again. We finished inpatient rehab today and start outpatient Tuesday. It was a hard 11 days not seeing her but certainly worth every second. Kim would text videos of her progress every day. Her knowledge is amazing, and obviously, she puts that knowledge to good use. Her love of dogs is unbelievable. She has such great compassion for the fur babies and the parents. Before someone tries to get you to euthanasia your baby, please see Kim first. I'd travel from a different state if I ever needed her help again. Kim will be someone who is part of our lives and hearts forever. We love you, Kim!

Fantastic experience: Kim is a quality physical therapist and stand up person . I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fur babies when the time comes . She definitely has the knowledge and love it takes to such a strenuous and emotional job. If you want to know your fur babies are in good hands bring her to Kim you’ll definitely be glad you did .

Fantastic experience: Kim has worked with 3 of our dogs and there is no one we trust more. A few years ago we moved to Fort Worth and have many options for pet physical therapy, but only want the best, so when a pet is in need we make a 6.5 hour drive to Kim’s and have never been disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I have read recent reviews by an unhappy client who brought their rescued paralyzed cat to Kim for rehab. The goal was obviously to get the feline walking again. Kudos to them for helping. However! I have known Kim and have spent many hours observing her interactions with the animals and pet parents she cares for. My animals are part of her success story. She knows her anatomy and physiology quite well. Her reputation as a great practitioner is reinforced by the many referrals she enjoys from clients, veterinarians and other professionals that she works with. Her practice is busy. As expected, there may be times when the indoor areas may be dusty or hairy until she finishes with her patient schedule. She works tirelessly to upgrade and maintain her facility constantly. Her interactions with pets and their owners are beyond cordial and caring. Some families may not understand that leaving Kim to perform assessments and modalities is important to her treatment plan. Noise and interruptions distract from her ability to treat the animal at hand. Many of us appreciate and believe in Kim’s abilities and knowledge when we need care for our pets. Many lifelong friendships are enjoyed because Kim is a great person. She’s a quality therapist and is an asset to her profession and community.

Fantastic experience: This owner loves animals!! She and her staff are fantastic. They helped my baby out when he was at his worst. With their help I got more time to spend with him after being told he had no more time. He did overnights for the first week + and then I could bring him home and do out patient rehab! Duke loved going to rehab he got to see some of his friends form the overnights. It was a pleasure to have my boy there and if I ever need rehab again this is were I will go!! Thank you all so much!!

Fantastic experience: Kim is an extremely talented therapist. She truly cares about her four-legged patients (and the three-legged ones too!). She has the skills to change lives for some of her neuro patients that might not have a chance without her. She has rehabbed my dogs after surgeries and conditioned them so they can have longer healthier lives.

Fantastic experience: Kim does wonders with your K9s! Our 4 years old corgi had severe pelvis injury (hit by a car, broken pelvis in 8 places, difficult surgery) and Kim managed to got him up and running! She cares for your pups like no one ever will! She will tell you the ugly truth, even if you don’t want to hear it and trust me, if you’re not doing good by your dog, you will get what is coming, because it’s in our responsibility, to do good by them! Thank you Kim for all your hard work with Alto! It’s only thanks to you that he climbs the Rockies today!

Fantastic experience: My dog became suddenly unable to stand up or walk when we were living in Florida. He just woke up that way on Thanksgiving '21. The veterinarians were only able to provide palliative care due to his age, weight and health complications. Over the next 4 months we (my family and veterinary team) were able to overcome his health complications but he still could not stand up or walk and he had gained even more weight. I was looking forward to returning to Texas because 5 years ago Dr. Fontanez of Portland (TX) Veterinary Hospital had told me about Kim and K-9 Conditioning and Rehabilitation. Everytime I lifted my 130 pound dog in and out of my car while driving to Texas in March I knew that if anyone could help us, it would be K-9 CARS in Corpus Christi. I honestly thought a wheelchair would be needed. The morning after his first session with Kim, he got right up in the morning and walked outside. With Kim's help 3 months later my dog has achieved his weight loss goals and takes walks along the beach. Quality of life returned! No more heavy lifting, no more accidents because he could not get to the door, no more holding him up to do his business. I have my happy dog back now. He is his happy self again. He is excited to wake up and do all the things a dog likes to do.

Fantastic experience: Kim was very personal and very helpful explaining the sessions for rehab to reach our goals. She said we had a friend for life. Made us feel very pleased with bringing our doggie to her.

Fantastic experience: I’m fostering a gunshot wound dog with spinal injury. Had our first meet with Kim today. Let me tell you, that woman has a way with animals. Koa loves her, and you could literally just see and feel the compassion radiating from her. She has got a true gift for what she does and I hope she’s able to do it for a long time to come.

Fantastic experience: Kim is one that gives hope a whole new meaning. You can tell she loves her patients and even cares about the owners too! She will tell you like it is, always positive, works hard, and does everything she can to make sure that we have a fighting chance to stay together, even when all seems lost. I will always be grateful for all she has done to help our family. She is the best i have ever met as a therapist and a person.
