Fantastic experience: I am so grateful to have found Dr.Winan. I appreciate that she takes time to listen to my experience of symptoms and answers all my questions. She is gentle and warm and I recommend her to anyone that is experiencing hypertonic pelvic floor symptoms.

Fantastic experience: Stacy is both a gift and an asset to the Central Valley. As one of the few pelvic health experts in the area, her practice is so critical. However what sets Stacy apart from other PTs is the time and care she provides. Devoting an hour each session, Stacy can address multiple issues while forming genuine relationships with her clients. Most importantly, Stacy recognizes that the body is interconnected and meets you where you are at on any given day. In other words, she is committed to supporting you in however you need, as long as it’s within her scope of practice. I’ve been working with Stacy for the last two years addressing a number of issues and I’ve made more progress with her, both physically and in understanding my body, than I have with any other practitioner. Most notably, I saw Stacy regularly throughout my recent pregnancy and I’m confident the work we did together was responsible for my fast and flawless vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). If you’ve been on the fence or have been procrastinating booking an appointment with a pelvic health specialist, just do it! You won’t regret working with Stacy!

Fantastic experience: Stacy is amazing! I’ve struggled for years, and she’s helped me piece together so much that’s improved my quality of life. She’s a systemic thinker and approaches the body from a holistic perspective. I went to her for pelvic floor pain with a diagnosis of vulvodynia, and we’ve worked on so much more! I have been to several gynecologists, physical therapists and even specialists at Stanford with no improvement. Stacy has made the impact that no one else could in all my years of searching for help. And she has done it with a great bedside manner, helpful education, easy take-home exercises and with fun conversation, all so I look forward to each appointment. Can’t recommend her highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Wow! I can’t say enough good things about Stacy and her practice! I’ve been suffering with back issues for years with no relief. I started to feel hopeless and started to accept that chronic pain was just going to be part of my life. When I first met with her I was skeptical because I had never connected my back pain with the idea that my abs had never fully recovered from my 2 c-sections. I started down a new recovery path with her that has changed everything! My back pain is SO minimal to what I used to experience on a daily basis. There are plenty of days with no pain at all! When the pain does reoccur I’m reminded of the stretches and exercises she gave me to get back on track. Miraculous In my book!

Fantastic experience: Dr Winans is truly incredible. I went to her because of some persistent hip pain I had been having for 2 years (since the birth of my son) that was progressively getting worse. In the first session, she identified the reasons why I was experiencing pain and gave me exercises and workout modifications to remedy it. By the next session 2 weeks later, my hip pain was entirely gone and has not come back several months later. She continues to help me strengthen my pelvic floor. I am an experienced weight trainer and train heavy 4 days a week and she has helped improve my form doing that as well. I cannot recommend her enough – Pelvic floor PT should 100% be a part of every woman’s postpartum recovery and Dr. Winans is a master at what she does.

Fantastic experience: I shared my one year anniversary as a patient of Stacey. I never thought I would get to the place of going every 2-3 weeks. She encouraged me through rough days and took the time to listen. Her knowledge in the field of IC patients is a bright spot for a condition that there is limited treatment in Fresno. I owe a great deal to her to get me through this journey.

Fantastic experience: Highly, highly recommend. I wish this therapy was part of the standard of post partum care. Stacy is extremely knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. As an athlete I expected to bounce back without issue post partum. This was not the case; I experienced pain and problems related to hypertonic pelvic floor and weakness in my posterior chain. I am happy to report after working with Stacy I feel incredible and even stronger than I was pre pregnancy. If you're thinking about this, please give yourself a gift and schedule an appt. You won't regret it!
