Fantastic experience: Dr. Melissa is an extremely capable and caring therapist who really understands vestibular therapy. I came to her practice with extreme neck and shoulder pain and vertigo. Within a couple of sessions I was feeling comfortable and improving. My balance continues to get better under Dr. Melissa's guidance. I can't say enough good things about her.

Fantastic experience: Physical therapy at this Miami-Little River Center has been tremendously healing for intense hip pain. This Center is tucked in a beautiful neighborhood near Sherwood Forest, El Portal, well managed with attentive/motivative personnel and has state of art equipment. Ana keeps track of my appointments, reminders and insurance issues. Melissa Berret-Shabani, my therapist, is truly a devoted, professional and highly experienced in that she takes time to apply her expertise by closely walking me through exercises as she closely monitors my level of pain and technique. Melissa greets me and before my session, she determines my physical state/pain level and she differentiates each session based on my progress and as needed uses high tech equipment such as compression massage boots and electrode muscle stimulator given my level of pain or soreness. Equally important, Melissa thoroughly explains why she is administering a certain exercise, what it does to help heal or strengthen a muscle and how with each exercise or equipment should be completed. She walks me through the technique and how to properly structure the alignment of my body. After a period of therapy, she assesses what exercises and the amount of each will be beneficial for me to practice at home and ensure that I am doing them correctly without causing any pain. As a current patient, I am in such better condition after my therapy sessions with Melissa - I am rapidly regaining my full physical functioning and routines and I am motivated to complete my sessions and at home exercises. She is a priceless therapist!

Fantastic experience: Melissa Shabani, DPT and her assistant Anna are skilled, caring and professional. Dr. Shabani interpreted my orthopedic surgeon's prescriptions into a specific course of exercises and other therapeutic interventions to relieve pain in my neck and to strengthen muscles supporting my knee. The studio is large, airy and extremely well outfitted, including electro-stimulation and dynamic compression therapy equipment. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Is the best place to take physical therapy that I’ve been on Miami. The team here is so welcoming that they make you feel like home and the really care about your health and your recovery. They have the best equipments to help you with the physical therapy. I really recommend this place to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Melissa cured me. She is one of those amazing people that legitimately only wants to add good to the world. I have been to other PTs that see multiple clients at a time, have students treat you, find ways to fill your session with fluff, and look to turn your patient care into a recurring revenue stream for themselves. Melissa is the total opposite. She provides care and attention from date and she keeps every session interesting. The second I got better I wanted to keep coming back but she told me that I was cured and that it wasn’t necessary. And she was completely right. What a savior. And Anna her assistant is very sweet and helpful too :)

Melissa is such a sweet, caring, and genuine person who is amazing at what she does. I always feel at home and get so excited for my sessions. I’ve even been back since I was cleared. If I had money to throw around I would come here for fun and live my best athletic life.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience overall!! They have gone above and beyond to help me through my recovery and I have seen huge improvements in just one month. I came in after a knee dislocation surgery (in a wheelchair) and with their help I am now walking by myself. The space is great, always clean, and they have so much equipment which keeps the sessions always different. Huge thanks to Dr. Melissa, Lina, and Ana for everything they have done for me!! 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the Fyzical Therapy for the last two months, and I already noticed an improvement. The building is new and kept clean and well organized. Melissa is very knowledgeable, professional and personable, she is flexible with my appointment times and seems to genuinely care about helping me to regain the mobility in my shoulder, I would most definitely recommend!

Dr. Shabani and her team are very professional and empathetic, they make you feel like they care about you and your recovery. I felt much better after a few sessions. Ana manages the patient visits impeccably, I never had to wait a minute to start my therapy, they are very good at scheduling appointments. It's really a pleasure to see Melissa and her staff.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Fizical Therapy & Balance center for issues related to a car accident where I shattered my Fibula, fractured ankle & foot. Mellisa is an amazing practitioner (and everyone at the front desk is so kind). They offer individualized, 1-on-1 care, which is so reassuring to have someone focused on your specific needs. Progressing at a comfortable pace, while also keeping my timeline in mind as I needed to return to work. Both the treatment plan and the prescribed exercises have significantly helped decrease my pain & increased my flexibility as well as my awareness. I highly recommend Fizical Therapy & Balance center in Little River. You're in very good and caring hands here!

Fantastic experience: Melissa is an incredible human being and has the gift of having healing hands. I came with shoulder pain that had been bothering me for a while now. She made me do some exercises, put the tens machine and some ice packs, and I left feeling very relieved and pain free. I look forward to our next sessions and for great success for this center.
